I am making a formal complaint against Reliant Capital Solutions , LLC and XXXX. I am being treated unfairly. The gross disservice placed against my right to due process is devastating. These unreasonable actions imposed on my life have thrust me into a continuous cycle of upheaval and chaos all based upon a fraudulent student loan which I have been disputing for the past 14 years. I did not go to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York. I never requested a loan from or attended, the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York. The school is closed and I have no way of contacting them. Once I became aware of the claim ( XX/XX/XXXX ), in good faith, I have provided documents and communicated with XXXX on numerous occasions as well as, each of the collection agencies assigned to the file with the goal of this erroneous loan to be discharged. My paycheck once again is being garnished. To continuously have a significant portion of my wages and tax refunds snatched due to a loan I did not request or utilize, continues to be a traumatic experience. I was deprived of my right to request a hearing to appeal the garnishment. I never received a 30-day warning from the collection agency currently handling the loan in question. I was not notified by the agency before the garnishing of wages began. The first written correspondence received directly from Reliant Capital Solutions , LLC was dated XX/XX/XXXXwell after the garnishment began. On or around XXXX XXXX XXXX, I aggressively contacted XXXX and was referred to a collection agency -- Reliant Capital Solutions , LLC at XXXX when I was informed by my employer ( via email ) that an offset would start with Fridays check ( 3-days later ). Upon speaking with XXXX and the collection agency, I provided them with my current address because they did not have the correct address on file. I was adamant about disputing the actions against me. To date, my numerous requests that the assigned agencies provide burden of proof has not been satisfied. No Collection agency has successfully produced the proper paperwork proving that I am the true owner of the debt. There have been inconsistencies when it comes to the loan account number, principal loan amounts discrepancies, wrong addresses, and timelines that do not coincide with the events referencing the location of the school, meeting the guidelines and qualifications to receive the loan. The promissory note reflects a loan which was granted by XXXX ( New York State ), c/o of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, CA, in XXXX and the name and location of the School who received payment in which I never applied to and did not attend is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the State of New York. The printed name on the document is not my name. The signature could pass but I DID NOT SIGN the document for a loan to attend the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I would not misspell my name on any document. The paperwork is a result of forgery. In pursuit of exoneration from this fraudulent student loan, I contacted the agency and requested they provide me paperwork in support of their claim. Instead of supporting documents, I received on XX/XX/XXXX, a Rate Increase letter. I contacted the agency and they informed me that it would take up to 90 days for me to receive the information I requested. On XX/XX/XXXX, instead of supporting documents, I received from the agency an Assignment to a Collection Agency letter. Please keep in mind that I had not received any written supporting documentation. The only consistent numbers on all three letters are located on the top right corner under a barcode. In contacting XXXX I was referred to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX located in XXXX, AZ-the newly assigned collection agency. I contacted the agency at ( XXXX ) XXXX and informed them that I did NOT attend a school in New York and requested that they provide me with written proof in support of the claim. The agency was rude and continue to give me the runaround while harassing me all the while. I submitted a dispute letter via fax written on my behalf from Attorney XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX, in support of my claim of False Certification. On XX/XX/XXXX, I faxed to Post Default in support of my dispute and per the request of XXXX, copies of my G.E.D, drivers license, social security card, and samples of my signatures. Also submitted was a work printout from the Social Security office dated XX/XX/XXXX. Please note, I never lived or worked in New York, Michigan, Virginia or Florida states, however, I noticed that the corporate addresses of the Temporary Employment Agencies for XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX, ( New York ) XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( Michigan ) XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Virginia ) and XXXX XXXX , XXXX. ( Florida ) are located in those states. The report supports the fact that someone other than myself located in New York, probably in HR or Accounting Departments had access to my personal information and stole my identity. In anticipation of a positive decision of discharge, instead, I received another Treasury Offset Notification on XX/XX/XXXX. Regardless of my efforts and numerous disputes. Once again I filed a dispute and also submitted a copy of an XXXX Credit Report as of XX/XX/XXXX. Within the credit report, I highlighted multiple discrepancies which included, proof of identity thief. The report included names that were close to mine but were not mine. Addresses in cities and states in which I never lived. And social security numbers that were not assigned to me and were not mine. Regardless of the advanced technology to help prevent identity thief today, I still find myself receiving emails informing me that my identity has been compromised due to corporations having their data breached. I remain in continued dispute by requesting the reporting agencies to remove the incorrect data from my reports. Please note, I received a copy of the alleged Promissory Note only after I submitted detailed information certified US mail XX/XX/XXXX, to XXXX to include samples of my signature, a copy of my drivers license along with a letter disputing the loan. I did not have a high school diploma or G.E.D. during the timeframe the paperwork reflects that I allegedly went to the school. According to the eligibility guidelines ; The school had the responsibility to make sure all students could benefit from the educational program, and therefore, If I had indeed applied, they would have given me an ability to benefit exam. To date, no proof has been presented to confirm that the exam was administered nor have I received proof that the school used an approved exam or followed proper protocol regarding a student without a high school diploma or G.E.D. qualifying for the student loan. If I had taken out the loan and attended the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York, wouldn't I have received a certification of some sort within the field of XXXX from the school? You would think that I would have at least worked in some capacity in the field of XXXX? But I do not have a certification from that school and I have never worked in the field of XXXX. The garnishment actions imposed unfairly upon my earnings have caused an undue financial and emotional hardship and is now beginning to impact me physically at this point as well. In XXXX, I have experienced divorce, and displacement where I was forced to move from my home and had to downsize to an apartment. Since this last garnishment/offset for a loan that I did NOT take advantage of, I can barely afford to pay my rent, health insurance co-pays or buy my medicine. As I am writing this complaint, I am forced to move again on XX/XX/XXXX, because I can not afford to maintain my essentials like shelter, food, etc. In anticipation of the moving costs, security deposits, rental insurance and fees within the next two weeks. I need every penny of my earnings and then some to avoid being homeless. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up with Reliant Capital Solutions via telephone, to ask them and XXXX to suspend the garnishment until I receive a fair hearing. I also informed them that I had uploaded three different False Certification forms, a written statement and multiple documents in support of my dispute of the loan. But the collection agency insisted on me making payment arrangements on a loan I did not receive. I was told that I would not qualify for the garnishment suspension unless I made payment arrangements and redirected back to XXXX. Reliant successfully discouraged me by suggesting that it could take months for XXXX to even review the appeal, stop the garnishment and/or be considered for the loan to be completely discharged. In retrospect, had I taken out the loan, I would have never allowed the principle and interest to escalate to {$14000.00}. It would not make sense for me to have suffered and allowed years of numerous garnishments/offsets, harassment, and embarrassment. I would have paid back the loan by noweven if I had to make payment arrangements in support of my budget. But I did not go to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York. I have nothing left in me to fight. This ordeal has caused me to be exhausted and sick to my stomach. I can not afford to wait months ; I need this error corrected as soon as possible. This situation is ruing my life! Respectfully,

My federal student loans are in default and I've tried to get them out of default but every time I call Reliant Capital Solutions LLC, I get different information from different people. When I call, they do not tell me all the options available ( payment arrangements, rehabilitation process, consolidation ), and when I ask about them, different people tell me different limited and disjointed information about the process and merely attempt to threaten me into paying the full amount including the fees. When I ask about these options, they are very curt in providing the most limited information possible about alternative options and merely keep repeating my full balance owed. It is almost as if they are not seeking to actually have me rehabilitate, but rather threaten me in a way that actually makes me feel that I do not have any options. As if they somehow benefit from keeping borrowers in default because they could continue to charge the Dept. of Education for maintaining the defaulted account. Additionally, when I fact check the statements they make, it turns out to be false. When I ask to speak with a manager, they repeat the same thing, not providing any information - merely the amount due - and in an extremely hostile, and threatening manner. I've called voluntarily a few times to obtain more information, and one manager said they contacted my employer and that must be why I'm calling. In fact, I was not informed by my employer that Reliant Capital Solutions contacted them, and I had called by my own accord, but the fact that they would try to use that to somehow threaten me saying they know who my employer is was ridiculous, since I had called and tried to make arrangements by my own accord. Each time, I've called, I've merely hung up on the hostile and threatening representatives for their inappropriate threatening manner in which they communicate. The tactic drives the borrower away that one thinks that they may be incentivized to NOT have students actually pay off their debt! At the end of each terrible phone conversation, I merely resign myself to the idea that until I have the entire amount due available immediately, Reliant Capital Solutions is only interested in unethically engaging me in some process which varies depending on who you talk to at their office. I believe the U.S. Dept. of Education should REMOVE Reliant Capital Solutions as one of its vendors for debt collection. Reliant Capital Solutions should be held accountable for their unethical communication practices including information that is NOT CONSISTENT WITH STUDENTAID.GOV. And the U.S. Dept of Education or CFPB should monitor and review past phone conversations with defaulted borrowers. I'm certain there are many instances of false information, threats, and other unethical practices! However, based on my interactions with different people at different times at Reliant Capital Solutions, this company is not capable of being forthright about any process. I believe that the PROCEDURE/process of REHABILITATION ( paperwork/documents, procedures discussed, timeline ) should be managed/provided AND implemented by Dept. of Education XXXX or some other ETHICAL 3rd party ) not by Reliant Capital Solutions who communicates and behaves in a manner in which they do not want you to rehabilitate! The collections agency could receive the funds and arrange the payment, but the contractual process of rehabilitation should not be left up to Reliant Capital Solutions who provides NO information or overview of that process, and whose customer service representatives behave in a manner which deters rehabilitation with limited information and threats. I understand that defaulting has resulted in the referral to Reliant Capital Solutions, however, typically a collections agency should just receive the payment - not engage in ( or in this case, fail to engage in ) a 9 month long contractual process of rehabilitation. And if a collections agency MUST implement this rehabilitation process, the Dept. of Education should choose a better vendor than Reliant Capital Solutions -- an agency where information is withheld, lacks a clear, forthright description of the rehabilitation process, and an attitude that actually tries to deter borrowers from rehabilitating! Everything I know about the rehabilitation process I've had to acquire based on my own research from XXXX, and when I call Reliant Capital Solutions to ask about this, they are not able to confirm any information and merely continue to repeat the balance due like a broken record - with no attempt to succeed that really makes me wonder about the competency or hidden incentives of Reliant Capital Solutions for not rehabilitating borrowers! When I talk with studentaid.gov people, the information they provide is extremely different than what Reliant Capital Solutions curtly states ( incorrectly and unethically! ).

The following collection agencies keep repeating the same amounts in collection claims which are not valid ; thus, I am disputing all claims filed by these agencies as they have violated FCDPA Provisions which guide them on collections, statute of limitations ( Texas ), attempted to overrule Bankruptcy Court Litigation ( XX/XX/XXXX ) which resulted in liquidation of assets of which, proceeds were received by US Department of Education and violated the rights under 31 USC 3711 which is a requirement of 31 USC 3716 : *XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , OH XXXX *XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Georgia XXXX *XXXX XXXX ( for XXXX XXXX ) XXXX U.S. Department of Education Loan Servicing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX General Correspondence : XXXX U.S. Department of Education Loan Servicing XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, PA XXXX *U.S. Department of Education XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Washington , D.C. XXXX ____________________________________ The collection agencies ruined my credit, employment and caused unnecessary duplication in efforts of resolve issued by the student ( complainant ). ___________________________________ On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a complaint with United States Court of Federal Claims which went to Appeal in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, regarding tax refunds being offset as student loan debt. These types of notices had been occurring for 17 years i.e., I have not received a tax refund of which I was entitled to claim in now 18 years. The United States Department of Justice produced collection documentation showing that US Department of Education had collected United Student Aid Loan Amounts on XX/XX/XXXX ; yet, collections agencies continued to bill using damaged promissory and issued unlawful collections using these damaged promissory notes without my knowledge in XX/XX/XXXX. The records indicated the only verified amounts owed - issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court ( Trustee : XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and Attorney Representation - was {$15.00}, 811.00 in relation to US Department of Education claims in XX/XX/XXXX. Additionally, United States Department of Justice produced records showing that I was being charged 5 % interest on a Federal Perkins Loan since XX/XX/XXXX - which was the year the Federal Perkins Loan was fully paid off. During the Bankruptcy filing of XX/XX/XXXX, the Trustee ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) withdrew a large number of collections claims which were not valid due to lack of paperwork ; this also included the duplicated claim amounts issued by the XXXX XXXX XXXX Additional records show that XXXX University and US Department of Education attempted to default me while I was attending school during years XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, and tried to charge me for XXXX college education which I carried and paid for out-of-pocket prior to my entry in to XXXX University. Indicating intentional mismanagement of my college records and causing continued interruption to my furthering educational studies beyond XXXX Level. XXXX University also withheld transcripts from potential employers in the past years even though I went personally to their administrative offices and paid for the transcripts. XXXX University and US Department of Education attempted to charge me under XX/XX/XXXX or later full tuition rates which is not applicable. XXXX University ( Texas ) did not have on-site / offsite housing or full service cafeteria in years XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and could have never issued anything other than tuition only costs to students attending in those years. Many of the collections agencies involved in the fraudulent collection practices never reported the amounts they collected in the last 18 years based on TOP reports issued by US DOJ. Additionally, much of Bureau of Fiscal Services correspondence also shows that fraudulent behavior, i.e., the representatives show to be collecting for child support services or some other state debt in the same tax year as collection for student loan debt per offset letters issued by US Department of Treasury. When I file as complaint regarding this situation with US Department of Education they commonly take more than 6 months to produce the information related to my education. I was employed and attended college ; thus, as a full-time student did not deserve to have my employment rights, educational rights, and financial rights degraded in last 18 years or in my senior years of my career. Again, I dispute all claims made by the above listed collection agencies for additional monies owed to US Department of Education as they are invalid and unreliable in paperwork.

RELIANT CAPITAL SOLUTIONS is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1692e 2 ( a ) by using false, deceptive, misleading representation and means prohibited under this subchapter in connection with the collection of an alleged debt. Reliant Capital Solutions sent me a statement via the US mails and email on XX/XX/XXXX including the subject matter of an attempt to collect an alleged debt for file number XXXX. The amount, character and legal status of this alleged debt is falsely represented. The alleged {$620.00} balance is shown in a positive balance, if a balance was in fact owed it would show in the negative. I have reason to believe and do believe that RELIANT CAPITAL SOLUTIONS is in violation of 18 U.S. Code 1341 by knowingly participating in fraud through the US mail.

Reliant Capitol Solutions contacted me today on XXXX/XXXX/2015. I missed XXXX calls from them. After I had seen the missed calls I called the number back. I stated I missed a call from this number. The lady on the phone asked me if I was XXXX XXXX I said yes and was transferred. This is where the whole situation got out of hand. The guy I was transferred to was very forceful at trying to obtain my information. Before I said yes to anything I asked who the company was he stated the company name very fast and continued to try and get my personal information. After a few minutes of me standing my ground and asking what the company name was and what the call was about and not giving my information he finally, rudely, told me. That 's when the call became pretty heated. He continued to be rude and cut me off as I was talking. He kept asking if I could pay the debt I stated I could not right now and he went on to say he was going to mark my account as refusal to pay I told him I wanted to speak with someone else. The next lady I talked to was a little better. She actually explained what was going on and was at least trying to work with me a little. I stated I wanted to call XXXX ( that 's who the debt is for ) and verify all this since this was the XXXX time I had heard about the debt. At that point I feel like she went on the offensive. She acted like she did n't want me to call them and said we needed to reach an agreement before I hung up. I refused and insisted on calling XXXX to verify. At that point she said that I HAD to call back today or tomorrow and was very insistent on that. I called XXXX, verified my information.I also asked if I could make payments to them instead of the debt collector. She said I could and that they would report my payments to Reliant. I proceeded to call Reliant back. I asked to be directed to a supervisor and the call continued. I spoke with a supervisor named XXXX. I told her about the prev. calls she said it would be looked into and went on to continue to try and collect the debt. I told her that XXXX stated I could make my payments to them and they would report my payment to Reliant. She said I could not do this and my payments must be made to them. I wanted to take time to figure things out but I kept getting told that if we did n't reach an agreement right now that it would be a refusal to pay. We came to an agreement of {$58.00} a month and I would try to payoff the balance in full as quickly as I could. So in summary I feel like I was bullied and pressured into paying this company. They were not professional at all. The whole call was handled very badly I believe. Kinda felt like I was tricked into paying them. I have no problem paying this debt off. Had I known about it before I would have taken care of it but between the time I stopped going to the school and now I had moved a XXXX times and had my number changed. So this was my XXXX time hearing about it. They stated they had called multiple times before and have left voice-mails. I do not recall any of this and to my knowledge I have never received any calls or voice-mails from them. I feel like I should have had time to go over my finances and figure out exactly what I could pay XXXX month but as stated before I was getting told if I did n't reach an agreement with them right then it would be a refusal to pay. And from what I have heard from other debt collectors, a refusal to pay means the next step would be them suing me. At this point I feel like I have been coerced into paying them. I have dealt with debt collectors before and all have been helpful and willing to work with me and given me time to figure things out. Never have I been threatened with refusal to pay or treated this badly.

Background : After several violations of the law employed by XXXX XXXX XXXX contracted for hire by XXXX XXXX XXXX University, XXXX continues to work around fair collection violations laws by jumping from agency to agency to keep the infliction of purposeful pain going with no desire to resolve my case. XXXX now swithced to Reliant Capital Solutions from Ohio with no intent to validate debt or settle my case. I have a document showing XXXX refused to discuss and settle and very unreasonable and not working in good faith. Reliant must not allow XXXX to use them to entertain their goal of inflicting pain with no intent to resolve my case. Highlight of issue : First, the SOL is over. The correct venue for this case in in NH as per XXXX XXXX own ask for arbition rights. They can not have it both ways and now flip to my state casue they do not like NH 's. The claim dates back toXX/XX/XXXX. Reliant Capital Solutions called onXX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX VIA called ID XXXX from XXXX, Alabama. XXXX XXXX asked for XXXX XXXX. I asked who was calling. He stated, " My name is XXXX from with XXXX representing XXXX You owe {$2400.00}, and I need to confirm some information. '' He never told me he was attempting to collect a debt, I was being recorded, or anything used can be used. I thought representation was an arbitration company from XXXX given a very long dispute over XXXX XXXX claim and services of collector XXXX XXXX XXXX all many years. I stated, " the debt is not valid. I do not owe them any money. I explained my story because I was not aware he was from a collection agency until I was talking to him. Then, the phone number I called to call back was their main line in Ohio, yet the caller 's phone was from a different state and city. In the end, the caller was reached via their corporate number but he tricked me using a noncompany number. After he listened, He directed me to call XXXX to validate the debt, so XXXX referred me back to them all within the hour ( the two were working together ). I was provided a reliant supervisor E-mail to contact as I offered to settle the case for less than their claimed amount of {$2400.00}. No response yet. XXXX XXXX XXXX is using abusive tactics via collection agencies, and the collection agencies are consistently not being held accountable for violations of the law. Therefore, I exercise my right for legal action and fines again present, former collection agencies in this case and now XXXX who knows abuse the abuse and letting the collection take to blame for violations of the law. The tactics of this agency, the others, and XXXX is intended to inflict harm as long as possible with NOT intent to close this out. I offered to settle multiple times, yet they keep saying they my credit report will be impacted.

I paid {$120.00} a month from XXXX - XXXX and the loan never came out of default. Economy Crash. Lost great job in XXXX XXXX. Bankruptcy XXXX. Lived at an XXXXXXXX XXXX where I got a roof over my head & food, a little pocket money for 10 years. Now my Social Security is being garnished when I became eligible to collect it. I paid approximately {$8600.00} on the Student Loan from XXXX when it was in good standing. I can not contact the Dept of Ed directly to get an exact amount. I paid $ XXXX in VOLUNTARY PAYMENTS + Tax Refund offsets from XXXX. ( I have the print outs ). TOTAL OF {$23000.00} paid for borrowing {$8400.00}. Enough is enough. XX/XX/XXXX To whom it may concern : I would like to file a complaint against a collection agency by the name of ( Reliant Capital solution ). This collection agency continues to perform Slander of Credit, by continuing to harass me, and by placing fraudulent false collection debt onto my credit files. In XXXX of XXXX, I had an attorney to write to this collection agency regarding this fraudulent debt that they continue to harass me about. ( Copy of attorney letter attached ) In XXXX of XXXX, this collection agency was using the name of ( Reliant Recovery Solutions, LLC. ) And now on my credit files they are using the name of ( Reliant Capital Solution ), But that does not change the fact that I do not owe this debt, and they have not removed the fraudulent information off of my credit files. They continue to destroy my name, as well as my credit by placing a fraudulent collection amount of {$270.00} onto my credit files, lying and claiming that I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and this is not true. I do not owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX any outstanding debt, but this unscrupulous collection agency keeps ( RE-AGING ) fraudulent dates, and lies regarding this fraudulent collection amount, and placing this false fraudulent collection information onto my credit files. Its been years since Ive had anything to do with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I didnt spend much time enrolled in that corrupt, dysfunctional online school. They were in charge of all of my financial aid at the time, I did not leave that school owing them anything, if anything they stole from the Department of Education, because they didnt return all of the last funds that they withheld when I withdrew from their corrupt school. This deceitful, dishonest collection agency has again ( RE-AGED ), this false fraudulent collection account onto my credit files, showing a date of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, with an update to the collection as of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ). I need your assistance, I do not owe this fraudulent collection, and it should be against the law for this collection agency to continue to ruin my financial life over money that I do not owe. I want them to once and for all to clear my name of this fraudulent debt, I want hard copy proof on their letterhead that, that has been done, and I want this unscrupulous collection agency to stay out of my credit files. I want them to cease and desist from ever contacting me again regarding this fraudulent debt. I want the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau fully involved in this complaint until completion. Reliant Capital Solution can contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can contact me.

I received an offer letter from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in physiology in XXXX and contracted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX back in Summer XXXX which spread to my various organ systems and advised the XXXX registrars office of my request to pursue a medical health related program withdrawal in XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided verified doctors notes to confirm my absence from the program. The XXXX registrars office, program leadership team, and the XXXX program director remained grossly negligent and never responded or provided the necessary paperwork for a program withdrawal and I never received a response from the XXXX office regarding my program withdrawal confirmation. I received an anomalous, erroneous {$7600.00} Spring XXXX personal bill from XXXX in XXXX XXXX months after I withdrew from the XXXX XXXX program and left the campus for classes that I never registered for or completed. I have attached the erroneous XXXX Spring XXXX bill and my personal request to withdraw from the XXXX XXXX graduate program in XX/XX/XXXX due to chronic health issues in the files below for your review. The school manipulated me and forced me to stay in the program despite chronic health issues and never responded when I initially requested for a medical/health related program withdrawal at the beginning of the Fall XXXX semester. I was denied the opportunity to receive program withdrawal paperwork and the school remained grossly negligent to my request for months. Subsequently, the school recently threatened me with collection attempts starting from XX/XX/XXXX onwards months after I withdrew from the program for degree coursework that I never registered for or completed. I never received a degree from XXXX nor graduated. Kindly ensure that the below attached bill is voided and that my full XXXX academic year tuition loan amounts are returned back to the federal government. I would appreciate your kind consideration of my request. I have attached my supporting documents in the files below. Thank you.

Requested Feedback not provided as of XX/XX/XXXX for my certified letter - USPS, nor first, yet additional, request for validation of debt owed. In letter, I stated I would establish a payment plan if the school agreed to the arrangement ... this occurred prior to COVID19 and full lockdown at the state level. Additional time was given due to COVID19. XXXX in XXXX charged XXXX to XXXX dollars and this range was sufficient and what I referenced in reestablishing a payment plan, which I would start sending payments on a weekly basis ( as of XX/XX/XXXX due to current work arrangement and unemployment stimulus if current employment ends ) ... previous agreement prior to XX/XX/XXXX feedback request was on a limited part time employment basis with some SSDI funds available after bills and rent. To my knowledge, as of XX/XX/XXXX no validation of debt have been completed and are required per the consumer protection laws, if not completed the false reports on the creditciles have to be removed. I was never on campus in XXXX nor after XX/XX/XXXX to establish any new loan agreements for funds from XXXX or their affiliate Reliant Capital Solutions. I do not owe any amounts ranging from XXXX to XXXX dollars, but I'm definitely aware of the range from XXXX to XXXX and am open fo paying those according to our prior payment arrangement with XXXX Cashiers Office, as indicated in 1st request for validation of debt prior to XX/XX/XXXX feedback request. Any additional attempts to collect these amounts are further retaliation efforts, which need to not only be documented, but forwarded to the appropriate Department of Education and other overseeing agencies to ensure all parties can resolve this by way mediation ... if taken to trial, certified letter is evidence of educational Institutions noncompliance and complicit nature in prior investigations and efforts to resolve the XXXX to XXXX balance ( most a counting came from on campus living arrangements. All affiliated efforts to collect this account without validation need immediate removal from all credit files by both third party ( who I already have no contract with ) and original creditor ( who I have sent validation requests to ). Damages have no been requested at this time, but accurate information is ready for processing if needed for this request.

In XX/XX/XXXX I consolidated my Student loans through the U.S. Dept. Of Education. I combined all my loans in to an Income Contingent Repayment loan. I have been paying these loans on time without issue since XX/XX/XXXX. Recently on XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter form Reliant Capital Solutions ( a collection agency on behalf of the U.S. Dept. of Education ) claiming that I had a student loan that was not paid and a balance of XXXX. I called the collection agency and explained that this could not be mine as I have been paying all my student loans without issue since XX/XX/XXXX and all my loans were consolidated in to an ICR loan in XX/XX/XXXX. I asked them to send me proof of the original debt and they said they would send the original promissory note with the original documents. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a packet from Reliant that had nothing to do with this outstanding balance they claim I owe. they sent me copies of my Loan consolidation paperwork from XX/XX/XXXX. So I called back and explained what they sent me. I told them that my ICR paperwork DOES NOT prove this alleged debt. So I asked again for proof of this alleged debt, they said this was all the paperwork they had from the US dept. of education. So I told them that if they can NOT provide proof this debt belongs to me they must cease all collection attempts and close this matter. again they said they would send me the proof. I have to date received NOTHING. So I called the US dept of education. they told me that this debt was from XX/XX/XXXX and they see that I went through them inXX/XX/XXXXto consolidate my loans, and they were aware of this loan in XX/XX/XXXX. and if I consolidated in XX/XX/XXXX it should have been a part of my consolidation. I explained that this is why I don't believe this loan is actually mine and I once again demanded they provide with original proof of this loan. they said they would. However as I have stated earlier I have not received anything from Reliant or the U.S. Dept. Of Education since. I sent a formal Dispute and demand letter by certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX. In that letter I stated again that I was disputing this loan and demanded original proof of this debt. I also requested a response within 30 days of receipt of the letter. It has been over 30 days and again Zero communication from them.

On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted an FDCPA Debt Validation request pursuant to 15 USC 1692g ( b ) to Reliant Capital Soluctions, LLC ( " Reliant Capital '' ) regarding a debt alleged to be owed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX In my initial debt dispute I disputed the {$930.00} total being alleged and requested that all supporting documents be provided to affirmatively demonstrate that I owed XXXX {$930.00} and how they reached that total. In response, Reliant Capital sent my a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, which claims that I owed XXXX {$1200.00}, with no explanation as to why Reliant Capital was claiming more owed than what XXXX claimed less than a month earlier. Attached to Reliant Capital 's XX/XX/XXXX letter were print outs from XXXX, starting from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Each print out claims to be a cumulative total of the amounts owed. XXXX claims I owe {$1500.00} XXXX claims I owe {$1600.00} XXXX claims I owe {$2000.00} XXXX claims I owe {$0.00} XXXX claims I owe {$0.00} This is consistent with my understanding that XXXX has been paid all moneys owed to it. The documents provided in response to my debt dispute fail to establish the {$930.00} claimed by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX or the {$1200.00} being claimed by Reliant Capital on XX/XX/XXXX. I believe that Reliant Capital has violated 15 USC 1692e by providing false and misleading information, claiming that I owe an amount in excess of the amounts claimed by the party they are collecting a debt on behalf of, and further by providing documentation which they allege support the alleged debt they are seeking to collect - when that evidence actually establishes a {$0.00} balance. Reliant Capital has failed to substantively answer my Debt Validation Request, and in fact provided evidence that there is a {$0.00} balance, and yet they claimed I owe {$1200.00}. I've submitted a second debt validation request on XX/XX/XXXX, advising of the same. Further, beyond documents being provided showing a XXXX balance, the debt they allege to be collecting are from XXXX and are barred by statutes of limitations in the state of Ohio. Reliant Capital has further violated CFPB regulations and the FDCPA by pursuing a time barred debt.

I recently received a voicemail from a debt collector, and then the next day I received and e-mail from the same debt collector for the same debt. Now it is my understanding that they are allowed to try to communicate in these manners to collect a debt. That's all fine and dandy, however the e-mail failed to provide a link to opt out of receiving e-mail notification. The link they provided was written up as below : Update your communication preferences by visiting http : //www.reliantcapitalsolutions.com/consent/ Upon Visiting the link provided I noticed wording that almost seems to appear, that by filling out certain information on that page you are " CONSENTING '' to them contacting you by those means, rather than opting out of the methods of contact. This said, those items are also required fields. Example is the wording for e-mail : " By providing your email address you consent to Reliant Capital Solutions , LLC contacting you at that address regarding any accounts for you placed with Reliant for collection. You understand and agree the email communications will contain account specific information. You have the ability to withdraw consent or opt-out of those emails at any time. '' There is no clear way in the e-mail I received to opt out of e-mail notifications. Secondly, I would assume that even with these new rules that allow them to contact you by other means, that certain privacy rules that have existed for the past 40+ years would still apply. No attempt was made by them to verify whether or not I am the sole user of this e-mail account before attempting to contact me of this debt. I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX mother, that I often allow to use my e-mail address because it is easier for me to help weed out some of the potential scams out there that prey on the elderly 's lack of knowledge for technology. While she does have her own account, it is only given out for select business purposes such as job searching, banking, etc. These rules that have recently changed, obviously did not give foresight to the fact that many consumers my age may share an e-mail account with an elderly parent or a child.

In XXXX I had a medical crises that required extended hospitalization and resulted in me moving in with relatives to be properly cared for during my rehabilitation. My student loan in XXXX were under a deferment. During hospitalization and after, my mail was was returned to the Department of Education. I was not aware that my loans had defaulted and not able to exercise my right to an oral hearing or a delay of garnishment because I did not receive the mail. I petitioned the Department of education to stay the garnishment and grant an oral hearing through their agency Reliant. I requested oral hearing to explain my circumstances and request hardship on XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent all request via certified mail and both mailed and uploaded documents directly. The Department of Education has refused to grant my right to an oral hearing even though they know for a fact my mail was returned. I have explained that the Garnishment leaves unable to meet basic expenses or pay for the critical medical care I require. As recently as XX/XX/XXXX they refused my right to an oral hearing so that I may explain my hardship, and the circumstances that led to this action. I would like an opportunity to explain my plan going forward for repayment of my student loan debt. I, XXXX XXXX, am writing to request that the Department of Education review my request for a hardship reprieve from the Departments garnishment of my student loans. As, I've requested in the previous two garnishment hearings I am requesting an oral Hearing on this matter. I have not been allowed an oral hearing despite repeated request This garnishment poses a significant hardship for me. I am a single Mother of XXXX and am managing a XXXX illness while employed full-time. The crushing stress and constraints brought on by the garnishment make it extremely hard for me to afford to take care of my children and afford medical care. I have supplied the Department of Education with my expenses previously. My expense have change and the garnishment is a severe hardship.

I attended XXXX XXXX XXXX for theXX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX academic year. I got excellent grades and I transferred to a school with a better reputation for better job prospects. Around late XX/XX/XXXX I began receiving bills from XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX dollars. I called the school to determine what the charge was from. I was told that my account was not settled and that they would refer my account to collections. When I asked what the charge was from they said it was my tuition. I told the school I already paid the tuition in full, and that was how I was able to transfer my transcript to my new school. It is common policy in American academic institutions to not release a students transcripts without paying their bill. I thought nothing of it, but the school referred the matter to a collection agency without telling me what the charge was for. When I kept getting collection calls, I called the school and a representative at the XXXX office told me that the charge was due to an " unofficial withdrawal. '' I told them that I paid all the tuition and fees for the year that I attended and that this charge was unfair but they demanded that I pay it. I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX and had no money so I did not. In XX/XX/XXXX I passed the XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York State, I needed my transcripts from schools for job applications. When I called XXXX they said that there was a hold on my account and that this charge for " unofficial withdrawal '' was sent to a collections agency. After a lengthy pleading process for leniency the XXXX, XXXX XXXX, agreed to remove the hold and forgive that charge. The annual tuition at XXXX was around XXXX dollars and we both agreed that charge for Unofficial Withdrawal, which I had no idea about at the time of transfer seemed unnecessary, petty and unfair. I did not withdraw from school, I transferred. Now the credit reporting company has reduced my credit score, and apparently no one was notified that my hold was released.

I have been in contact with XXXX XXXX from Reliant Capital Solutions on behalf of XXXX XXXX University beginning before XXXX XXXX, 2017. I have spoken with him concerning my defaulted XXXX loan. I explained to him that I recently entered into an income based repayment plan for my other federal student loans. He advised me to complete a loan consolidation. He also stated that he would walk me through the process. After looking up the consolidation process online I noticed it may not be in my best interest at this time. I advised XXXX multiple times that I am working with my sister on the best option for me as far as my student loans. I am more comfortable working with her. He is continuing to call me every day from various numbers ; XXXX & XXXX to list a few, after business hours XXXX-XXXX EST. At this point each time I take a call from XXXX he gets more and more rude and agitated that I will not complete the consolidation with him over the phone. " At this point I can not keep putting this off any longer. I am trying to help you. I will have to mark the file as a refusal to pay the $ 3,000+ for the loan balance '' his exact words. I advised him again that this is NOT a refusal. I am working with someone to figure out the best means for me to pay the loan. I can not afford to pay the full amount at this time and am working on a repayment plan. I am working in public service and am trying to see how that would affect me before consolation which would ultimately increase my monthly payment amount exceeding my allowable income to expenses ratio. I advised him that I have his contact information and will reach out to him once my decision is made. It seems as though he is trying to get me to say I am refusing to pay. He is trying to rush me into making a decision that will affect ONLY me. It is very harassing and I have never been treated this way. This is not a good representation of XXXX nor his company. I have call records of all times and dates.

I am filling a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Collectors are required by Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to send you a written debt validation notice with information about the debt theyre trying to collect. It must be sent within five days of the first contact. Reliant Capital Solutions has not provided me with anything to validate this. Its a violation of the collection practices act for a debt collector to refuse to send a validation notice or fail to respond to your verification letter. On XXXX I received a letter from Reliant Capital Solutions informing me about account number : XXXX in the amount of {$1500.00}. The letter stated that unless I notify offer within 30 days of receiving this notice that I dispute the validity of the debt. Their office will assume that this debt is valid. I sent a validation letter to Reliant Capital Solutions dated on XX/XX/XXXX and I never heard back or received any validation that the debt belongs to me. I kept waiting for validation. I will upload a copy of the validation request letter that was sent postmarked XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I got an alert from my bank and other credit applications such as XXXX XXXX and XXXX that I had a new collection account that was reported. I logged in and see that Reliant Capital Solutions has reported a collection account to XXXX and XXXX without giving me any validation that account number : XXXX in the amount of {$1500.00} in fact belongs to me. Reliant Capital Solutions has not provided me with proof that I owe this debt, yet they reported the account as collections. This is a clear violation. I have no record of owing this debt and would like this to be removed with XXXX and XXXX. I have already contacted and disputed this with both credit agencies and have yet to hear back from XXXX and XXXX.

Sent information about XXXX and Reliant Capital Solutions validation of debt responses. Made, I believe two errors, " Scholl '' and " XX/XX/XXXX '' ... I did not proofread before submitting, but not only standby the statement as I assume it still clarifies my point about a document signed by someone other than myself. The " Scholl '' error should read as " School '' and the " XX/XX/XXXX '' should reflect " XX/XX/XXXX ''. Either way the structure and grammar was used is still foundational and valid towards the point of being on campus to sign a document in XXXX regarding a XXXX XXXX dollar debt. First validation effort had a thirty day window to resolve and extra time was given nonverbally due to COVID crisis. RCS requested validation of debt and it at first was not mailed to consumer at all, but also did not get addressed in full until XX/XX/XXXX. Third validation off debt attempt provides supportive documentation regarding document, stated to be signed in person by the natural person, " Promissory Note '' in excess of four thousand dollars, yet school records indicate no agreement by consumer and school to resolve matters in person and additional documents can support alibi of geographic location during the time of this document being possiblely forged ( please review bank statement ) RCS states they sent a letter in snail mail regarding validation of debt and nothing has come in the snail mail ever from RCS to XXXX XXXX XXXX and if so, it didnt reach me ... even with a dedicated mailroom and leasing office available for snail mail pickup. First time seeing any itemized statement is XX/XX/XXXX. No written agreement for removal of debt for payment arrangements has been tangibly made as of XX/XX/XXXX even though both accountszhould be deleted per both FCRA and FDCPA.

This complaint involves Reliant Capital Soutions LLC and the company 's mishandling of consumer information ; rights in which are protected under privacy laws. I've been repeatedly contacted by Reliant Capital Solutions to whom I've never done business with and every phone encounter they providing misleading information regarding the nature of the call. This complaint has been generated due to Reliant employee mishandling my social security number without ever verifying who I was. When contacted by their employee XXXX I advised that I've never done business with Reliant. Instead of providing me with insight that she was calling from a 3rd party she insisted that I give her my social security number ; her request was refused. She persisted in a threaten tone she that she had the social. I proceeded to hang the phone up. Within a week or so later XXXX calls back XX/XX/2018 XXXX from phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX. Again I advised XXXX that I've never done business with Reliant, she then spats out my social security number over the phone without any verification of my true identity. I immediately hung up and called back to speak with her supervisor. What the Reliant employee did was negligent and very inappropriate. I spoke to the supervisor at Reliant and I was advised of the nature of why they were calling and that they are a 3rd party for the Department of Education. I then advise that I personally call Department of Education to seek a resolution and gather the real facts about the alleged debt. I would like to see Reliant implement see some regulations for data security protection. It is my hope that Reliant uses more ethical tactics when handling sensitive information in the future. It is Reliant obligation to safeguard consumers information in which they failed.

I 'm receiving repeated phone calls to my cell #. They identify themselves as Reliant Capital Solutions, then ask for me to confirm personal info ( SSN, DOB, current address ). I 've told them I wo n't confirm or provide information unless I have a valid reason to do so. I 've asked the purpose of the call, and they continue to refuse to provide any info ( including what kind of firm they are, any money I might owe to anybody ) unless I confirm my SSN and DOB - which it seems they already have. I contacted the Ohio Atty General 's office and have filed an official complaint. The AG 's office told me they have a " significant '' # of complaints filed against them. I also pulled my credit report and score ( I have excellent credit with a score over XXXX ) and nothing is noted. I asked to speak with a manager and XXXX XXXX at Reliant also refused to provide any info about why they 're calling unless I provide them with personal info. When I told XXXX XXXX I did n't know why they were calling, he said, " You know why we 're calling ''. I googled Reliant - they 're a debt collector. I went to their XXXX, OH office yesterday ( with my checkbook ) and offered my driver 's license as proof of identity and they refused it. I 've checked with any creditors I might owe money to and nobody 's reporting I owe them anything. I 'm happy to pay anyone I might owe money to, but if I do, Reliant is delaying this process and preventing resolution of this issue. I also contacted local XXXX TV investigation team yesterday, they tried to speak with Reliant 's attorney ( who I 'd spoken with ) and she refused - she ran away! Reliant has said they 'll send me a letter with details. The XXXX team told me Reliant has given {$65000.00} in campaign contributions to Ohio 's Attorney General.

Reliant Capital Solutions Is depicting inaccurate information on my credit report insisting my debt 's date of last delinquency was within the last 2 years. This debt is over 7 years old and the date of last delinquency is over 7 years go. Therefore Reliant Capital is breaking the law by changing the date of my delinquency in order to continue to collect on a debt that's older than 7 years. I have disputed this frivolous debt for the past 7 years as the original creditor charged charged it off to be handled by Reliant Capital Solutions. Reliant Capital Solutions has only provided me with a bill from the original creditor with no proof of a contract, signature or anything from 2013, the year this account reported the most recent delinquency. This debt is a frivolous debt and the collection agency has never proved the validity of this debt. ( Only submitted to me over the years a printout of a ledger. ) In order to keep the harassment and deceptive debt collecting practices in place, they marked my credit reports that this is a recent debt in order to bully me into paying this frivolous and fraudulent outdated debt. I refuse to pay a debt that is not mine or accurate. In addition, the reason for this complaint is reporting this outdated debt to my credit report that as a recent debt is a fraud, scam, deceptive and against my rights per the FCRA. I will be contacting the Attorney General of the state this collection agency is licensed and will seek damages in civil court if this account is not removed from my all 3 of my credit reports. In addition I will I will be contacting the States Department of Regulatory Affairs regarding this matter.

XXXX XXXX I attempted to enter an income based loan rehabilitation program. I was told by the representative over the phone that I needed to submit a Financial Income Statement form, send proof of income, as well as a copy of the signed loan rehabilitation agreement. I completed the forms and submitted them via email and a payment was collected from me in the amount of {$5.00}. From XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX I made monthly payments in the amount of {$5.00}. I missed my XXXX payment and because of that in XXXX XXXX I made two payments. I was told that as part of the agreement after I completed the 10 payments my loans would be taken out of deferral. I made my payment in XXXX and due to my own fault I lost contact with the company. In XXXX of XXXX I made contact with the company with hopes of continuing or restarting the rehabilitation program. I was told that because I had never submitted a signed agreement that I was never actually enrolled in the program. So i was " voluntarily '' making payments. I would never volunteer money ( no matter how small the amount ) if it was going to count for nothing. The representative I spoke with tried to explain that in XXXX XXXX they sent me a letter saying they never received the document, but from XXXX - XXXX during our monthly phone calls my designated point of contact never mentioned that I was missing this documents. He gladly just took my {$5.00} payment. There clearly was gross negligence on Reliant Capital 's part for not making me aware that they were missing any information. And pure ignorance on my behalf because I should have followed up. Moving forward I want to correct the issue.

XX/XX/XXXX : My student loans were paid in full by XXXX XXXX. Somehow, less than {$40.00} was appended as " Fees '' by the collections agency servicing the collection. No notice was provided about these " Fees ''. Additionally, the {$5200.00} Payment was not reflected on my credit reports. I have received ALL of the negative impacts, but none of the positives. Payment Effective Date : XX/XX/XXXX Payment Type : Treasury Offset Payment Amount : {$5500.00} Applied to Principal : {$4500.00} Applied to Interest : {$660.00} Applied to Fees & Charge : {$17.00} I have contacted studentaid.gov, Dept. of Education in general, XXXX and Reliant Capital Solutions. All have said " We can't see the balance when the payment was made. '' " We can't correct the error, contact ( one of the other entities ) ''. studentaid.gov refused to provide me with a customer support phone number while I was in chat until I literally became irate, which the agent THEN decided to provide me the requested information and terminated the chat. In short, I've been robbed of my positive credit history and the ability to acquire a mortgage due to " Fees '' from a collection agency AFTER my student loans were paid in full by XXXX. The reported data is inaccurate due to lack of " Date of Last Account Activity '', and not showing the paid amount ... just that the balance was reduced. I would have paid the remaining balance, if I was ever notified about it. They had my physical address ... XXXX*EDIT : STUDENTAID.GOV SHOWS INTEREST RATE OF 0.00 %! HOW ARE YOU CHARGING ME INTEREST? ALSO SHOWS LAST PAYMENT IN XXXX! ARE YOU NOT REPORTING AT ALL?! **

On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX my daughter and I were contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX Reliant Capital Solutions in Ohio . XXXX XXXX claimed that we owed ad debt in the amount of {$1100.00} to XXXX State University. I asked XXXX XXXX when did his office communicate with us about this money being owed. He claimed that his office sent us a notice of validation of debt on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX. I confirmed we did not receive it. He told me we had to make payment in full by the end of business day XX/XX/XXXX. If we didn't my daughter would be reported to the credit bureaus. I told him i would like to dispute it and XXXX XXXX told me the dispute time is over. I would not be entitled to dispute the charges., I was furious. I told him I would call him back. Later that afternoon I contacted XXXX and spoke to a Financial Aid Rep. i was informed that the account was sent to collections on XX/XX/XXXX Not on XX/XX/XXXX as XXXX XXXX had claimed. they also researched the account further and said it could be a mistake. This debt was paid in XX/XX/XXXX. The reason for the additional increase is the cost of collections. I contacted Reliant again that afternoon and spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor confirmed the date of XX/XX/XXXX and confirmed that he would be speaking to XXXX XXXX about the misrepresentation of the debt. He also confirmed a debt validation letter would be sent out later in the week. As of today we have not received it. As a result of my conversation with XXXX XXXX I was so flustered and angry that I was not able to return to work that afternoon.

To Whom It May Concern, The reason for my dispute is Reliant Capital Solutions was required to notify me no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative information to credit bureau reports, in writing ... under such section 623, subsection ( 7 ) ( A ). However, in my records I am unable to locate documentation that they complied with this requirement, which is a violation of the FCRA & FDCPA. Also, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to give me my " Mini-Miranda '' five days prior to placing this derogatory item on all of my credit reports, per Section 807 ( 11 ) & FDCPA 809, which is {$1000.00} per violation and the state of OHIO allows treble damages. Under 809. Validations of date and Mini-Mirandi under Section 807 ( 1 ) Reliant Capital Solutions failed to send me my initial communication before placing this alleged item on my credit reports further violating the FCRA, with {$1000.00} per violation. Reliant Capital Solutions is held liable as well for defamation and in the state of OHIO a creditor is who collects their on debt is considered a debt collector under 1319.12 Taking assignment of debts. FDCPA I fail to see where Reliant Capital Solutions is in compliance with OHIO LAW. I also believe that this business is not registered to operate in the state of OHIO I expect this collection account to be removed from my credit report. Hello, I received my complaint response from RELIANT LLC, and I have read the information that was sent back to me in which I have questions. I see were it states that yes I did ask if there was an option to pay for delete, and you do no not offer that service. I also see were it states that Reliant is NOT reporting to the credit agencys. What do you mean exactly? Do I pay RELIANT, and then you report to the agencys that it is paid for? Yes I did speak with a person who is a representative ( 1 ) time from RELIANT. When you say ( 3 ) times to my line from RELIANT in which I did say there were multiple calls to my line that is correct. More than ( 1 ) is multiple calls to my personal phone line. A recorded line should prove and indicate of one recorded phone call with a male representative on XX/XX/2022 like you stated. Only one call. I have asked for ( 4 ) items to be sent to my mailing address you have one file. In this complaint, you have sent me ( 22 ) copys of paperwork from XXXX XXXX and also including RELIANT. I have yet to see a copy of my contract in which I have asked for. I see my billing statement, I see a copy of RELIANT LLC letter and it keeps repeating to the last page. Where is my contract that I have asked for more than once? I am trying to work with you to get this resolved in the best way possible. Can you tell me what I can do to make Mende meet to get this closed account off of my reports? Possible paying 50 %? Please help me get this resolved. Thank you.

I keep getting calls from the phone number XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX, or other variations of it. Not once have they left a voicemail. Without a voicemail explaining who they are and what they want, why would I call back? I have been scammed too many times. Sometimes they call 4-5 times a day. This happens at least every day, sometimes every other. They called me 10 times in the last week alone. Sometimes they call before XXXX XXXX, multiple times this past week they have called after XXXX. I spoke with them once, they told me they were Reliant Capitol Solutions and trying to settle student loan debt. They are not listed anywhere on my credit report. When I tried to work out a payment plan with them, they insisted that I had to pay {$1500.00} upfront before they would work out a monthly plan. They refused to work with me. If I can only afford {$50.00} a month, how can I just give them {$1500.00}? When speaking with them on the phone the first time, the man on the other line started questioning why I dont have {$1500.00} to give them. Dont I have parents, family or friends who can loan it to me? Dont I have a credit card? My mother is dead and my father lives 2000 miles away. They raised their voice and became aggressive with me. I have worked out payment plans with other agencies and never been treated this way. This leads me to believe it is a scam. I am more than willing to work out a plan and pay back what I owe, but I dont trust a number who continuously harassed me. This needs to stop.

First of all my name is XXXX XXXX not XXXX XXXX XXXX as all the bills refer to regarding my student loan. I attended XXXX XXXX College back in XXXX and I already paid off one loan and now I am told I have a Federal Perkins Loan in default. I had resolved this issue with a company that represents this school but I was forced to pay {$70.00} for 9 consecutive months and once I did that I was being charged {$40.00} a month. Unfortunately, I was unable to pay and the agency was unable to help me, which I thought was odd. I was not able to pay and my loan went to default. I believe I might have been dealing with a scammer company because all of a sudden I get notices from another loan servicing representing this same school and charging me over {$6000.00} when the loan is only for {$3000.00}. I never heard back from the other loan servicing company who was taking my money every month. I called the school directly and they tell me to contact the loan servicer. I refuse to pay anything to this company who sends me bill notices with PO Box addresses and misspelled words and just seems fraudulent. I am now in default and I don't know why if I have been attending school more than half time. Please help me. The First company I dealt with was call Reliant Capital Solutions but we dealt with over the phone and emails ... I never received any bill from them directly. This new company is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

In XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to get out of default by entering a rehabilitation program ( 9 month program ). A title 4 was reinstated to my account after 6 months, I failed to make the other 3 months so I had to start over. They never asked me to resubmit my XXXX and Rehabilitation Agreement. In XX/XX/XXXX, I began making payments again and completed the program in XX/XX/XXXX, I asked the representative on the phone what the next step was and did I have to make anymore payments. He said No, you dont have to make anymore payments to us. Your loan is out of default, just wait for the next loan servicer to contact you. They will arrange your payments from here on out. That loan servicer is Reliant Capital Solutions, they didnt send me any mail or correspondence until XX/XX/XXXX. When I contacted them, they told me my loan had redefaulted and I should call the Dept. of Education. I spoke to 5 different people, all of which said different things as to why it was redefaulted. The representative I spoke to in XX/XX/XXXX gave me false information. Thus creating this massive problem. All 5 representatives I spoke to confirmed that I was correct and they made a mistake. Their solution was to have me start off the rehabilitation program and pay until Im out of default. They offered no assistance in the massive issue they created and Im graduating college a full year later because of their mistake.

Education loan opened without me being present to open it on campus with financial aid office. Previous attempts of retaliation by XXXX through collection agency we're removed by CFPB ( should have record ). XXXX has not responded to validation request to restart original payment plan from XX/XX/XXXX at present income allowance via income based repayment. I received notification about seven days ago that my credit had changed and had not noticed it until today the XX/XX/XXXX. This is an additional attempt by XXXX to extort funds in retaliation for a Title IX investigation that was opened by me due to behavior of people that were living in our dorms. I was asked to leave campus and have not been back to open any education loans nor have my attempts to follow through with those efforts been responded to by those who initiated the order from me to not to resolve matters, in person, on campus. Reliant Capital Solution is requested XXXX which I believe XXXX was looking for XXXX originally and they have no responded to my certified letter. To my knowledge I have not taken out any new education loans with Reliant Capital Solution nor XXXX in XXXX. The only debt I had with them was in XXXX Cashier 's office from XX/XX/XXXX and it was on an on/off payment plan due to me being homeless at the retaliation of the school.

I have filed several complaints with CFPB, and now there is another debt collection agency trying to collect for the same invalid debt. This company is called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have not gotten a tax refund since XX/XX/XXXX, because XXXX and the Department of education have been keeping my refund every year. I had a {$2500.00} loan in XX/XX/XXXX, and it was discharged because the school closed due to improper record keeping and faulty aka fraudulent student loans the school was conning students into signing. In XX/XX/XXXX I was part of the class action suit against XXXX XXXX. None of these debts have EVER been on my credit report, and the XXXX XXXX was so old it's has long ago since been removed from reports. All of this fraudulent student loan stuff with the debt collectors & whatnot started in XX/XX/XXXX, right after Trump took office. I have documentation of every phone call ie : dates, times, names, etc since it started. I also have added up the amount of money taken from me from my tax refunds over the years and it adds up to a bit over {$10000.00}. I want my money back that has basically been stolen/embezzled from my tax returns for the past decade. I am more than willing to provide any info or documentation needed. 11 years for a charged off to begin with {$2500.00} debt from XX/XX/XXXX is XXXX.

I went to XXXX College back in XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had taken most of my classes, I ended up taking a small break for a couple of months. Once I returned to XXXX College to try to complete the one class that I have left before receiving my XXXX XXXX, they informed me that the major no longer existed. Therefore I never graduated, neither was I able to find a job in that field. Shortly after that the school closed down completely due to money issues. I later found out that I was in default and that I had been sent to a collection agency in which they told me that I owed them more than XXXX .... I started paying Reliant Capital Solutions immediately as of XXXX of XXXX. The department of Education informed me that I was ok to file my income tax for XXXX. They told me that my income tax would not be offset because I had already made 5 or more payments towards it. Once I filed my income tax they took the whole thing from me despite of what they said. As of now I have no income tax, no degree, and I still owe close to XXXX with the payments that I am making every month for a school that has been closed down.

-In the initial phone call I was told my debt was somewhere around 3500 ( I do n't remember the exact number ). -I was originally set up with a payment plan to pay off my debt. -I kept getting statements from the every month but it did n't seem that my balance was going down any. After calling and asking why my balance was n't change is when I was told about the " bill collector fee. '' I was NOT informed about this in the beginning. -After a year of paying religiously I was told I had start paying more because my 12 months was up ( I was never informed that I could only make payments for 12 months. ) I told them I would get back with them in a week or so with how much I would able to raise my payments. They called back after 2 weeks and told me I HAD to pay my debt in full. -I asked several times for documentation stating where I said I could only make payments for 12 months. I also asked for documentations stating why all of a sudden I had to pay it in full. -They kept calling me while I was working and I told them they needed to stop calling me during this time. Yet I continued to get several phone calls. When I finally answered one and told them I had asked several times for them to stop calling me while i was at work, I was called a liar. -I feel threaten, harassed, and lied to.

This is in response to a previous complaint filed against XXXX XXXX XXXX. Reliant responded to my complaint and claimed that I wasn't a party to the complaint. unfortunetly Reliant is wrong. I was given permission to speak on behalf of my daughter and discuss the debt on XX/XX/2018 when XXXX XXXX and I were on the phone with my daughter WHO granted verbal permission from me to discuss the debt. The entire conversation is recorded. Regardless, Reliant has not provided notification of the debt AND YET are trying to collect. this is a FDCPA violation. Also Reliant claims to have forwarded my information regarding the debt to XXXX XXXX unfortunately this is a lie. Provide me the name of the person that Reliant spoke to regarding the documentation that was sent. They have not forwarded anything to XXXX. I have spoken to several different people at XXXX XXXX and they informed me that they notified Reliant not to pursue collection,. Threatening to report a debt to a credit bureau even prior to receiving the actual debt is a violation. it is a threat. If I am not reimbursed for the violations in question I will file a lawsuit against reliant and they will be liable for consumer violations and will pay my attorneys fees and costs in addition they have caused a burden on myself and my family.

I have graduated college ( XXXX college ) XX/XX/2016, and I didn't own the college any money. Shorty after, about a year after I started getting phone cals from college after I already graduated and received my college diploma. The phone calls from the school said that I own the school {$3700.00}. At first I thought it was my loan which I already repaid it so I just ignored it, but shorty after I received a phone call from collection agency that were telling me if I don't pay this, they will ruin my credit score. I went to school to find out what is going on and the financial advisor told me that one of the semesters XXXX didn't cover me and therefore now I'm responsible for this payment. I feel this is wrong because when I took the classes, the school told me I don't have to pay anything. If they told me at this time I will need to pay this amount I would most likely take this classes in a XXXX school since it is cheaper there. Now the school doesn't want to help me get to the bottom of this because they said now I have to deal with collection agency. Im a single mother and make {$1200.00} and can't pay this amount. Collection threaten to ruin my credit t. The collection agency never send me any letters, only phone calls so I don't have any documents to attach.

Government shutdown responses via the following two websites are allowing Federal Student Aid, FTC, US Department of Education, XXXX, and various collection agencies to sidestep their fraud. Reliant Capital Solutions , LLC and various other collection agencies tampered with an original letter issued by US Department of Education and promissory notes in effort to gain monetarily in an illegal manner. Individuals took records out of a XX/XX/XXXX Bankruptcy proceeding and abused it. XXXX XXXX XXXX ( trustee ) was contacted in XX/XX/XXXX regarding the Bankruptcy records on this issue. The complainant was told that the record had been gone for many years ; thus, even more reason to believe that collection agencies and US Department of Education and their affiliated collection agencies - whom remain unresponsive ; are intentionally causing financial damage to cover up their identity theft and fraud. Collection agencies can not make decisions on their own on student loan debts and neither can US Department of Education. There is no such thing as an informal review when tax refund offset is involved, it is a financial process. We do not have wage garnishment related to student loans in this country. You can't even do what you are doing without notifying students.

My dispute process with Reliant Capital Solutions dates back to almost a year ago, when I received a voicemail on XX/XX/XXXX, from a company representative named XXXX XXXX regarding an alleged debt they are attempting to collect. I immediately responded by mailing a cease and desist dated XX/XX/XXXX. I asked that all communications be sent via postal mail only and that they send any information related to this account to verify the account. I received a response dated XX/XX/XXXX with an alleged account printout, but no real information to confirm their right to do any type of business with me. I sent Reliant Capital Solutions an offer to settle this account on XX/XX/XXXX, which was ignored by Reliant. I allowed over 30 days for a response before I sent another letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, asking for more information to verify the account. I received a response dated XX/XX/XXXX, with the exact same document submitted in XXXX and no new information. I understand mistakes happen, so I took the opportunity to send another settlement offer to Reliant dated XX/XX/XXXX. Another 30 days has passed with my communications being ignored. My intention is and has always been to resolve this outstanding account because it is causing harm to my credit report.

In 2014 I sent numerous emails to my advisor at XXXX XXXX XXXX University. I was a new student attending classes online. It was an attempt to complete my degree after a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Within a week I knew I had bitten off more than I could chew. I emailed stating that I wanted to drop my classes because I wasnt able to keep up and was having bad headaches. I received a response that I could take my time with assignments and drop one of the classes. My response was that I wanted to drop all classes and continue at a later date. My body was telling me that I wasnt ready, and the stress of the quality of the work I put forward was unnecessary to deal with. I sent many emails and left a message asking for my classes to be dropped. If I were able to drop them on my own I would have. I didnt hear anything back until after the cutoff deadline. I was I informed that if I withdrew Id be responsible for paying the tuition because it was after the drop deadline. I emailed stating that wasnt fair as I had attempted to withdraw before the deadline, and I was unemployed so had no way to pay the tuition. Thus why I was receiving Financial Aid. I wasnt withdrawn from classes and I didnt attend either. Account was sent to collections for XXXX

I discovered a lien on my credit and after calling around for hours was able to find out that it was levied by the State of Ohio due to issues with filing in 2014. Reliant Capital Solutions was supposedly employed by the state to collect on this debt. Reliant Capital Solutions refuses to acknowledge that I have worked with the State of Ohio to resolve this issue and insists that I owe over {$2000.00}! In actuality, the State owes me {$160.00} for tax year 2014. XXXX ( refuses to give last name ) at Reliant treats me extremely poorly and refuses to acknowledge that I do not owe monies to the state. His only concern is when will I send him a check in excess of {$2000.00} to remedy the debt ( which I do n't even owe ). Please check with the BBB and run a XXXX reviews search to see dozens, if not hundreds of similar complaints. I believe reliant is a fraudulent company and they should be investigated. I guarantee they are breaking laws and praying on innocent people who do n't know better than to contest the claims of this company. Please investigate them and put and end to this extortion! I have been receiving up to XXXX phone calls a week from Reliant Capital regarding a debt from XXXX that I disputed with the school. I never agreed to pay the amount in the first place with the school but the debt collector is calling repeatedly up to 3 times per day. When I answer the phone they do not speak, just silence every time. They call while I am working as well as when I am home. I have asked them to stop calling, they wait a few days and start again. Just from this past week I have records showing they have called : XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I do answer their calls, again which are excessive to say the least, they do not say a word. I have sat on the phone for periods of time to see if someone responds, they do not. I called back in right after today and was immediately informed it was regarding a debt, they did not verify who I was, just assumed. They did not ask my name, just stated it and the debt that I owed. This occurred at XXXX today on XX/XX/XXXX. Between the dates of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX I received XXXX phone calls from them as well.

I had first heard from this company around XX/XX/XXXX. I had not prior heard from anyone else concerning student loans. They turned me into the Department of Treasury for Federal offset student loans that were non federal but on a Federal promissory note. I had asked them several times over the course of XXXX to show me how i owe federal student loans or any loans they just kept sending a statement and this promissory note. As you look at the promissory note there is many questions as it appears information was just transposed on a Federal form to deceive the Department of treasury. I was withdrawn from XXXX University XX/XX/XXXX yet they have May loans listed starting XX/XX/XXXX. This whole situation is an absolute mess why did they wait 10 years to start this any private loan which I did not receive would be out of the statute of limitations so is that why information was then transposed to a Federal form. If you look at the information on the form there is nothing federal about it XXXX XXXX is a private entity as was XXXX XXXX I just want some answers and the truth told to the Department of Treasury who did in fact take my taxes based on false information.

Greetings I am reaching out because I recently received a notification that there has been a derogatory mark that has been included in my credit report by Reliant Capital. To start I have no direct or indirect knowledge or contract with this company for them to be attempting to collect an alleged debt. Additionally I did not receive a letter to dispute or deny this alleged debt which is a violation of the FDCPA. Another violation committed by Reliant Capital is the violation of 15 USC 1692c ( a ). This company did not have my prior consent to contact me, a federally protected consumer nor was there a judgement from a court of competent jurisdiction. As noted there has been an item added to my credit report meaning this company is in violation of 15 USC 1681b as there was no permissible purpose for the company to be reporting. Lastly if there is an arbitration agreement, there must be a meeting of the minds prior to any adverse actions being taken. I request that Reliant Capital be held liable for their unfair and deceptive practices and violations of federal law. Arbitration or filing suit will also be an option for me if no resolution is found.

It is no longer on my credit report, and I continue to dispute it. I have not had any success in resolving this issue with them. I tried to speak to them about this in person back in 2013 but the woman in the office used a XXXX slur about my XXXX background and appearance, so I have not felt comfortable speaking to them in person about this since. I had a repo 10 years ago, which my credit was affected deeply by this but I had been laid off from my job at the time. This stayed on my credit for over 7 years. Now they sent legal notice to my employer to garnish my pay which has been for over a month now so Im being re-punished again which I understand Im hardly making ends meet but again I understand its a debt I must face. The major problem is the company has called several branches of my employer in a very rude and nasty form as if everyone who answers the phone is me threatening them and telling them my personal business. My employer is sort of a franchise partner of the company and they call on a daily basis through out the day and threatening them all the time in regards to my debt with them. My boss is getting called and complaining that they are calling all over the state of Florida in regards to one of his employees. Quite frankly its very embarrassing not only for me, but for those that are being threatened on my behalf. The company is Reliant Capital and their representative is XXXX XXXX.

All of my Student loans were discharged, not in bankruptcy, but because I had been in and out of XXXX and was completely unable to pay. I am still unable to pay the 1983 debt they are attempting to collect now. It was not a Federal student loan as depicted, but a collection of fees from university of XXXX for things like parking tickets. The debt is decades past statute of limitations. This company keeps trying this with me under different names such as XXXX, trying to get me to make a payment thus obligating myself legally to whatever inflated amount they choose, because it worked once and I 'm still paying them. They are likely doing this to multiple people and need to be investigated. They have changed the name of their business again. I 'm sure if this amount was paid, they would come after me again with yet another moniker to collect under. This debt is both misrepresented as Federal and well beyond statute of limitations.

The debt in question, was on my reports 2 years ago, because XXXX XXXX sold the debt to another collection agency who attempted to collect on the debt, but were unsuccessful because it was determined the debt was 7 plus yeas old. As a result, it was removed by all three credit bureaus. The debt is a Stafford loan debt. Stafford Federal Student Loans stopped offering student loans since XXXX. XXXX XXXX as well as Reliant Capital Solutions have both changed the dates on the debts and were able to put it on my credit report. I graduated from XXXX XXXX in XXXX ( I can forward a copy of my degree ). I also have a copy of the original Stafford loans ' promissory note, dated XXXX. I had graduated by then. Again, thr dates were altered to enable them to sell it to a collection agency. I can provide supporting documents upon request.

Received two calls from Reliant Capital Solutions - I called today XX/XX/17 to see what this issue was about. My name is XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, PA XXXX. When I called the " gentleman '' back at XXXX XXXX he told me it was an old debit from XXXX University . Told him I believe the amount they have is incorrect and as soon as he submits a debit letter to me I will review it and get back to him in writing on how to resolve this problem. He immediately started with tactics about where I work and threatened my assets - For the record I was not stating I did not or was not will to workout something for this debit, but he was right away threatening and she started to use tactics that I know are illegal. I did tell him I only wanted to contact him my written communication. I thanked him for his time and hung up. I do not like being bullied, especially since I took the time to try and resolve this in a peaceful manner.

I received a letter from this agency on XX/XX/XXXX as I was the co-signer on my daughters student loan. My daughter had told my prior that the IRS sent her e letter stating that they held $ 5500+ to cover her outstanding student loan. I called Reliant and they said that it takes some time for the money to catch up but that she saw where the money was garnished. She told that it would be taken care of and I wouldnt hear from them any more. On XX/XX/XXXX my wifes phone received a call from Reliant asking for me. The collector then tried to dunn me for the balance. I explained the same as I did the prior week and she told me that until they receive the money that collections would continue. I asked why not place on hold until the IRS remits to them. She again said that collections would continue. She said the first collector wouldnt know that the money is garnished. One way or the other one of these collectors is lying.

No debt was ever owed to XXXX. In XXXX, XXXX mishandled all student loans as well as all tuition fees and costs. XXXX also promoted a hostile environment and a very unhealthy cancel culture. Aside from all of that, the referenced account that was mishandled by XXXX was opened XX/XX/XXXX and the DATE OF LAST ACTIVITY on that account was XX/XX/XXXX. BOTH DATES ARE MORE THAN SEVEN YEARS OLD AND THE FCRA BARS ANY NEGATIVE CREDIT REPORTING OF THIS XXXX MISHANDLED ACCOUNT. Any and all federal student loans have been forgiven by the U.S. Department of Education due to permanent and total disability as of XX/XX/XXXX. There is no balance due on any federal student loan. I have been trying to obtain an intrest rate refinance on my VA mortgage loan, in the process a state tax lien was discovered that I was unaware of. I contacted attorney generals office who stated debt was owned by Reliant collection agency. I reached out to reliant each time I make a payment amount owed to remove lien is different. I have tried to no avail to get debt owed to remove tax lien in writing but I am sent to contact Attorney General who then sends me to Reliant and I am back on hamster wheel. My finances have been impacted by COVID-19 my household is down to one income and refinance would greatly help but I am at a loss on how to resolve. I need assistance to obtain in writing debt owed amount to release liens as well as validity of debt as it changes each time I reach out to Reliant Collection Agency.

I told them I have an email proving that I don't owe that amount and that I will forward it to them, which I did. I explained that I had several bills with various amounts, but the final email proved I only owed the {$120.00} and I asked for them to email me the proof of the debt, and they haven't. They just kept repeating they would sue me for the other amount if I didn't pay by Monday. They also stated they didn't purchase the debt from XXXX, so I'm confused as to how they are trying to collect.

When I asked for verification they refused to state the nature of their business but supplied me with a number to a pre-recorded line claiming to be the Attorney General 's office, and stated a full social security number over the phone that was inaccurate/false. The entire exchange reeked of fraudulence and should be investigated ; if indeed evidence of fraud is found, Reliant Capital Solutions should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The last 4 of the social security number are those provided by the company to me, NOT my social security number.

I have a situation. Apparently, student loans can be garnished without a court order. My wages are being garnished for a student loan that is either not mine or has an enormous amount of bad information. Wrong name wrong amount wrong interest rate XXXX in unexplained late charges. I believe the only piece of accurate information is my social security number. The company that is garnishing my wages sent me a letter saying I had 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt. I sent a certified letter disputing the validity of the debt. They wrote back a very strange letter that seemed to indicate that because my name was not the one on the garnishment I could not dispute the garnishment. I think this reasonably means they do not believe that I am the person named in the debt.

I was contacted via phone and told they wouldn't do a payment plan with me and I would have to pay in full or get a loan to pay in full which would then just make me be paying a monthly payment to a different company. I have student loans with XXXX State University that somehow went to collections when the rest of my loans didn't. I've tried numerous times to contact and speak to someone from XXXX but have had no luck. They have sent a balance of {$8500.00} to collections twice. Once with XXXX XXXX XXXX, which I was able to delete off XXXX and XXXX with the help of XXXX XXXX, but now they sent it to another collections agency Reliant Capital Solutions almost a year later. Reliant Capital Solutions has been constantly contacting me over this amount and already sent it to XXXX which dropped my credit score 84 points and causing a huge disruption in my life when i'm trying to buy a house.

Reliant Capital called me today to inform me of a debt they have had on me since XX/XX/2021. They did not send me any written notice about the matter. When they called me today the collector was trying to persuade me to pay the debt off in full and telling me I hade to pay it right away. The debt in question was actually covered by a scholarship and all the requirements of the scholarship were met. When I told her that she started to precede to say I had to pay them right away and they would start more aggressive debt collecting tactics. I believe she realized when the debt was covered by the scholarship they would not get any money so was forceful with trying to collect it.

Notified via personal credit monitoring that a collection account had been added to my credit report for {$15000.00}. Report states that Reliant Capital Solutions is claiming this is a new collection account that was opened on XX/XX/2023. I NEVER received any type of communication from this collector, I've not been able to dispute such, and they have placed this on my credit report without any notice. Second, this account is OVER ten years old. Given the age of the debt, Reliant is purposely and knowingly providing false information as well as scavenging old debt and presenting it to the credit bureaus as a new debt, one that is well beyond time barred.

I have ceased going to school because of this, and other political topics I was forced to write. This is a false debt by a scamming university!

This debt was already paid to the original creditor prior to the reporting date of XX/XX/XXXX by the collection agency. The collection agency has not provided any proof that a debt is still owed. I have a receipt from the original creditor to substantiate my position as well.
