Received robotic phone call message regarding a civil lawsuit being issued and papers to be served at employment address or home if I did not respond within 12 hours of receiving the message. Did not leave a company name or creditor name only that I had some time to call them back and make payment arrangements. Mainly threats about litigation and jail time even though they say 'civil ' at the beginning of the message. I called the number, a woman said they were " XXXX XXXX ''. They buy OLD debt and this was supposedly a debt from 2009 from a XXXX XXXX loan paid to XXXX XXXX Bank. She tried to be very friendly and said wow this is a really old account. I asked her for confirmation of the debt and she said, this was the XXXX level of collection and I had been sent information many times regarding this debt. She said, I see you are on social security which is not true nor have I had a bank account at XXXX XXXX XXXX. She said I needed to make a statement and she needed to record it. I told her no, she needed to confirm her true identity as a collection agency with her license and send me written proof of what she was trying to collect. She said I had already received that so I said then you are not legitimate with the FTC and I am not sending you any money or making a statement. The phone numbers used are XXXX and XXXX.

I was told by this company only told me XXXX.they wont told me who borrowed from or what I owe they wont provide any information and they call me ( XXXX ) and or they do is threaten me being garnish and actually physically threaten me.. They keep telling me I wont pay them but I do n't even know who they are and what I owe. they told me I borrowed this in 2010
