I was sued by XXXX XXXX for credit card debt. I entered into a debt relief program in XX/XX/XXXX. This account was included in my program with XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX persued a lawsuit and I was supposed to be represented by XXXX XXXX XXXX as a part of my program and I was paying for their services. They did nothing for me to represent me so XXXX XXXX won the lawsuit. It was for quite a bit more than I owed. I had owed $XXXX at the time I joined XXXX. The lawsuit amount was for $XXXX. That is a difference of XXXX. Ihave been making the payments. To XXXX XXXX until XXXX of this yr. I discontinued my agreement with XXXX and started a new program with XXXX XXXX. I did not include the XXXX XXXX debt as I was going to continue to make the payments of $XXXX a month to them on my own per the stipulated agreement at a po box in XXXX, CA. The first check was cashed after I paid it and then the second one never was.
I then received letters from XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to collect on this debt that had been being paid monthly ouy of my escrow account with XXXX.
I paid a total of 19 payments equalling XXXX while with XXXX.
Then XXXX XXXX XXXX filed a notice of Settlement of entire case in XX/XX/XXXX.
I believed this to mean I was done paying this settlement.
However i then started receiving letters from Reese Law Group in XX/XX/XXXX.
They stated I still owed this money so I started paying them. I have paid 5 payments to them. They then filed a exparte order to enter judgement for the remaining balance plus fees of $XXXX.
I filed papers with the court objecting to this exparte order as I have been making the payments and I wrote to them trying to get them to let me know if I do still owe this debt as I thought that XXXX XXXX XXXX form to settle entire case meant I was done paying this. I have not received anything from the court since Reese Law Group filed this exparte order and I responded. The clerk did say when I went to file these papers that this case had been dismissed. I am really confused on if I owe any more on this or not.
I feel it should be paif off as the original amount was $XXXX XXXX and to date I have paid $XXXX.
Reese law group is now calling and harassing me even though I have continued to send payments.
I call back but the person never answers the phone and she will not answer my questions in a voice mail.
Reese Law Group phone is XXXX. The person I am supposed to talk with is XXXX XXXX. Ext XXXX.
I would like some clarification on if I even still owe this debt and if so that they dismiss it as paid in full as I have paid more then the amount of the original debt. I would also like reimbursement of the amount above the original amount I have paid or since the notice of settlement of entire case received in XX/XX/XXXX any amounts paid after that I would like reimbursement from XXXX XXXX.
This has been very stressful annd confusing with all the different entities involved. I believe this debt is paid in full and I am asking for $ XXXX be returned to me due to the case dismissal in XX/XX/XXXX

I was attempting to refinance my home and found out I have a lien on my property for over {$29000.00}.
I reached out to the debt collector/ Reese Law Group ( XXXX XXXX ) to obtain the documentation on this judgment and information on the debt and all XXXX XXXX did was try to provide with the file number and said he did not have to provide me with that documentation that discloses what the debt is for, he didn't even know my name,, he provided me with my maiden name that I haven't used for over 12yrs, this clearly shows he's trying to collect on something that is over 12yrs old. XXXX was trying to workout payment arrangement but I told him that the information is incorrect, and that I'm not paying on something that is not right. He mentioned that it was regarding a XXXX XXXX XXXX Account, I told him I do not owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that I want all the documentation so I can review. I also mentioned to XXXX that I did not receive anything from them or any court notification, I would think they would certify something like this but of course that wouldn't be convenient for the debt collector. They took advantage that I didn't show up to court and just slapped a lien/judgement without allowing me to defend myself in court and to top it off in a county that I don't live in. I also asked if he can send me documents via email and he said that they don't do that, he said he can mail me the judgement. I then told him he can go ahead and Mail it, but then he asked for my address, I don't understand why he doesn't have this info since he had previously mentioned that he sent me mail on court order which I never received. All I want is for them provide me with all supporting documents regarding this debt and lien so I can have the opportunity to go to court and get this removed.

There was a lawsuit Reese Law Group on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX sued my son and I over a multi-car accident. The judge proposed decision to {$8300.00}. Then, it was modified, because my liability was limited to {$5000.00} in economic damages and {$1800.00} in non-economic damages. A total judgement was entered for the amount of {$8200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX.
I called Reese Law Group many times to settle it. They gave me a direct line to a person that was handling my case. I called her many times and left her voice messages, but she never called me back. She picked up a phone two times and she said that she would call me back, but never did.
In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from county of XXXX stating that a lien was filed on my name and my son 's name. I emailed the judge and asked him for help. He suggested that I call XXXX XXXX XXXX directly. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and left her a voice messages, she did not call me back.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from Reese Law Group supervisor and he said that I need to pay amount with accrued interests in the amount of {$590.00}. I explained him that I had tried contacting them to resolve, so the interests should not be charged, but he declined it. He said that if I don't pay, they are going to more damage that they had done. So, I decided to pay and deal with interests later. Then, he twisted the judgement language and said I owe them {$8800.00} and my son owes them an additional {$1600.00} and to satisfy the judgement they ( XXXX XXXX and Reese Law Group ) will need {$10000.00}. If not, they will do more financial damages to us.

It was around XXXX or so, I had a car repossessed because of the recession that occurred at the time. A year later XXXX XXXX XXXX called me and we agreed to pay the {$6000.00} residual. I asked them to send me a contract indication our agreement. They never did. Since then we lost contact until I received a notice in XXXX after I purchased a home. Now the company is called Reese Law Group. During the purchase of my home, the escrow company didn't find anything in my name. I was cleared to complete the purchase. Two years later is when I received the ( Notice of Lien ). I've tried to reach out to see what the matter was, and they just kept me hold for a long time. Now their saying that I owe them almost {$18000.00} in fees and interest. In XXXX I filed for bankruptcy protection. My lawyer failed to fight to remove this lien that was attached to my home. My lawyer indicated that he couldn't remove it because there was too much equity on my home. I'm completely XXXX and have no way to pay this lien off. The only way to pay them off is to refinance my home which I really don't want to. Reese Law Group wants me to take out more money that I want to. maybe because they know the value of my home. I know that their are companies who go out and buys these types of debts and sit on them for it to increase. This company WILL NOT send a complete breakdown of what is owed. so, how are we to communicate to resolve this issue. I'm afraid that one day they will come to take our home away.

Around XX/XX/XXXX i received a wage garnish notice at my job. in the amount of XXXX i was beside my self so i call the number for Reese Law Group to find out it was for a car that was repossed in XX/XX/XXXX. I told them why didnt you get ahold of me in XX/XX/XXXX. they said that they did with a court summons ( i never recieved ) so to make the story short i went to court in XX/XX/XXXX did not understand anything. i gave the lawyer for ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) my pay stub for a year to show them that i can't pay {$500.00} a month. then i didn't hear from them until about 3 weeks ago now they want XXXX. my question is can a Law Group sit on a judgement for 9 years so it will collect interest then garnish my wages.
I don't think its right to do that to a single XXXX year old woman that lived pay check to pay check. they say its all legall to do what they are doing to mr .

I got a loan a while back with XXXX, back then I was not able to pay the loan so I called them and ask to take it back. After after months I got a letter that I had a balance with then and send it to collections. I have been paying this lean for over XXXX yrs and it seems I never pay it off. it seems that this lawyer is trying to make more money then what the balance was. I have paid more then what was owed. Reese Law Group out XXXX, Ca. has been very uncooperative, in resolving my legal matter.
I've satisfied my judgement as per our agreement with them, I've dealing with this company for over 3 years now, they been horrible in communicating with me.
I agreed to settle the judgement, which I paid in full as per our agreement, I held my end of the deal, and they have not.
I been waiting for a satisfaction of judgement since XX/XX/2021 I'm the middle of refinancing my property, and I'm at Reese Law Group 's mercy.
Please help me resolve this legal matter since is jeopardizing me losing my Home loan.

This debt is an old debt back from XX/XX/XXXX that I have been harassed by primus financial for. I currently have a modification saying that I owe XXXX that was dated XX/XX/XXXX. They garnished {$60.00} from me on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX they took {$370.00} out of an account that was not mine. I am a signer on someone elses account and they took money out of their account, and my savings and checking. They left all accounts with a zero balance. The person whos account they took from is not my spouse and it is not their debt.
