On Monday, XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted me 4 times in reference to a debt that I owe to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The first time that they had called me, I did not say " hello. '' The representative called my name, but I didn't respond. From there the representative called me a second time and left a voicemail message. The representative, by the name of XXXX, called me back twice more after that, which I have proof on my cell phone. Actually, I had to block his phone number due to his continuous calls. On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX back. XXXX proceeded to explain that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had placed a lien on my house for a {$17000.00} loan for an HVAC/central air conditioner, which I never received notice about. From there, XXXX aggressively stated my place of employment. He told me that according to the contract that I had signed that if I had defaulted on my loan and XXXX had a right to place a lien on my house to collect the {$17000.00}. I told XXXX that I did not have the {$17000.00}. He asked what amount I could pay. I told him that I didn't know, since he is the debt collector he should be able to give me an amount. I also said if a lien was placed on my home, then, why should I have to pay the loan back? From there, XXXX placed me on hold. The call was disconnected, but I had called XXXX back. XXXX told me that I had to pay {$4000.00}, which is 25 % of the loan. I told him that I didn't have that amount. XXXX asked what could I pay. I told him I didn't know. I told XXXX that I never received anything in writing or a letter from his company about this debt. XXXX also became agitated because I had asked him to explain what a lien is. XXXX became annoyed with me and began screaming at me over the phone. I told him that he was being unprofessional and he hung up the phone on me. I called XXXX back and he continued to yell at me. I called him unprofessional and an XXXX. I stated that if the call is being recorded then why is he being so unprofessional. Then, XXXX mentioned how my spouse 's name is on the contract and he would verify his employment the same way that he verified mine. XXXX stated that he would enforce that the {$17000.00} be paid by any means necessary. Then, he hung up the phone on me. Afterwards, I called XXXX XXXX and explained what happened to me. I spoke with a supervisor by the name of XXXX. I had explained that I had to pay an IRS debt, which is why I fell behind in payments. XXXX stated that my loan was charged off and her company couldn't really help me. She said I had to deal with the debt collector. I told her I could probably pay in XXXX, but I didn't want to deal with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained to XXXX that I didn't trust giving the debt collection agency any payments because the representative was so unprofessional. XXXX stated that she would reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXX to see if I can deal with another representative. I need help with this situation. The representative yelled at me, hung up the phone on me twice, attempted to intimidate me by mentioning my job and contacting my husband and harassed me by calling me 4 times in one day.

I have been trying to have an account ( # XXXX XXXX with Redbrick Financial that is not mine removed from my credit file from XXXX for over a year. However despite much evidence the company Redbrick Financial located XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, IA XXXX placed this on my report refuses to remove. Despite multiple requests to review Redbrick refuses to remove said account from my report and has caused me irreparable harm. Redbrick not only refuses to agree with the removal but has made fraudulent statements to XXXX and my attorney regarding this account. Redbrick falsely claimed they Verified my signature. How do they verify my signature without my signature? Redbrick failed to conduct minimal diligence despite sufficient evidence submitted to the contrary and multiple requests/disputes. ( Evidence attached of disputes filed in XXXX and XXXX ). One of the disputes attached is from XXXX who agreed to remove in XXXX. XXXX refused to remove in both XXXX and XXXX. Redbrick refuses to investigate my disputes and or acknowledge that I am not a signor on the account in question. I have provided above and beyond what is required to show the account is not mine and should be removed. XXXX XXXX was last point of contact at Redbrick. I ask that you investigate the business practices of Redbrick. Their failure to remove this account from my file has caused me personal and financial harm and they should not be permitted to operate in such an unscrupulous manner. I have also attached two letters ( witnessed and or notarized ) submitted to Redbrick yet they still refuse to remove account from credit file.

This loan was for my AC, the AC company explained the terms of the loan to me as 10 years, zero interest for 12 months, no payments due for the first 12 months, I called the company ( spoke to XXXX ) to confirm before signing the contract. She reiterated the loan would be 10 years and never mentioned a balloon payment. While signing the documents, I noticed some language about possible balloon payment, I asked the AC company if that applied to me and he said no, I signed the docs. The signed documents did not mention due dates, amounts, or terms/length of loan. I get a phone call XXXX my payment is due in XXXX and I explain that there is a mistake, I dont have payments due until next year. I ask the the agent, XXXX to confirm other details of my loan. She explained to me that not only is my payment due but my loan term is not 10 years but 5 years and I have a balloon payment at the end of the term. I told her that information was wrong because I was never told about a 5 year loan, nor about a balloon payment and that I was lied to by both the AC company and the loan company. I advised her I was filing a complaint as I was lied to and given false information.

In XXXX, I had a sewer backup and the cost was high ; so my plumber applied for a loan for me with Redbrick Financial. I pay my bill on line and I receive a receipt plus my bank send me an alert when any monies is withdrawn. Reason being I have had my identity stolen twice and fir that reason I do not want any mail sent to my home. On XX/XX/2020, I received a confirmation of my payment in the mail ; however I had already receive the confirmation online for which I printed out. After receiving Redbrick mail I phone them on XX/XX/2020, and requested that I DID NOT want to receive any my because of privacy issues. My neighborhood has porch pirates and dumpster divers. Having my identity stolen was a lot to deal with and I DO NOT want to go through that again. All my other bills ( mortgage, car loan, credit cards, light, gas, water, insurance, sewage ) are sent through email so why can't Redbrick do the same, they have my email address! I very seldom receive mail except for junk mail. I WANT REDBRICK TO STOP SENDING MAIL TO MY HOME, REDBRICK BILLS ME THROUGH EMAIL. Their respond was NO, they will continue to send confirmation because it's the law in Iowa.
