This complaint is specifically for RCS, this is a " collection '' agency for XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX is the " current creditor ''. However, only XXXX XXXX appears on my Credit Report under collections. There are 4 companies I owe debt to, RCS and XXXX XXXX are none of the 4. On XX/XX/XXXX {$57.00} was debited from my account by RCS, XX/XX/XXXX another {$57.00} was debited, and XX/XX/XXXX {$57.00} plus another {$6.00} was debited from my account all from this same company " RCS ''. I had spoken to this company in early XXXX ( XXXX is handling my account ) about ceasing all future payments since I am off of work because of the COVID-19 outbreak, I am still laid off currently and am surviving off of savings. I called RCS today XX/XX/XXXX, because I noticed additional charges had been taken out of my account. I wasn't upset, and never had any intentions on asking for a refund. But XXXX was extremely defensive, had a condescending tone with me, and refused to hear anything I wanted to say, and then hung up on me. When I called back 4 or 5 times I was left on hold by an automated system, and then the call would drop. I finally got thru to XXXX 's co-worker whom found it satisfying to tell me he was not only the supervisor but owner of the company, told me he leads the call and I have to listen to whatever he has to say, not the other way around, told me he would remove my information from their accounts and hung up on me.

RCS has been contacting me, my husband, and various members of my family AFTER we have told them multiple times that all communication is to be done via mail. XXXX XXXX is the one that is leaving threatening voicemails, yet XXXX ( something ) is the one who answers the phone when called back. XXXX is RUDE and extremely unprofessional, going so far as to hang up whenever he didn't like what we had to say, yelling at my mother, and cussing my brother out. I could barely get XXXX to answer me as to what company he represents, and he refused to transfer me to XXXX XXXX after calling back XXXX times. I wouldn't have known this was a debt collector, except he disclosed that he was attempting to collect a debt when my mother called them back ( illegal ), and never once told us that our calls were being recorded ( illegal ). He then threatens to sue me because I am now " harassing '' them when all I was trying to say was to stop contacting everyone and do everything via mail, but he would hang up on me before I could get it all out. I have recorded everything they have done, and every law under the FCRA that they have violated. This is not okay that companies are allowed to operate like this! They are harassing myself and my family and will not disclose anything as to why they are calling!!

I am not the person they want to contact. I do know know the individual they are trying to contact. They keep insisting that my number is the number on file for " XXXX XXXX '' but my name is " XXXX XXXX '' and I am not related to any XXXX 's. I have told them this 2 years ago and complained to this office about them and it stopped until now, they have started again. They have stated clearly they are NOT trying to contact me, and this is not a debt I owe, and YET, they are still harrassing me! XXXX XXXX of RCS Capitol is harrassing the wrong person on purpose.

I set up a payment plan. I paid every payment until the last two, struggling with a house fire, and a horrible car accident, I explained I need a week for my new debit card to come, to pay for it. The representative was SCREAMING at me through the phone, disrespectful, asking for information that isnt his business, and claiming it is.
