On XX/XX/XXXX, I presented to the emergency room at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Washington after premature XXXX of my XXXX XXXX. I was subsequently admitted to XXXX XXXX XXXX that day. From that date forward, I was present at XXXX XXXX XXXX until an XXXX XXXX was performed on XX/XX/XXXX when my son was delivered. I spent a total of 20 days at XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) and my son spent a total of 25 days at XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) and together we racked up a total of {$210000.00}. During this lengthy encounter I was covered by two insurance companies XXXX XXXX through my partners work, and I was also covered by Oregon XXXX. All the providers that came to speak with us during our stay, or presumed to be involved in our care were employed at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The following summer, after we were discharged from the hospital, I received a call from an unfamiliar number with the person on the other end telling me that I had an unpaid bill. The individual was not from XXXX XXXX XXXX, they were from XXXX XXXX XXXX - a clinic I had never heard about in my life until that call. I declined to verify my information with the caller because I had never done business with XXXX XXXX XXXX, never heard about the clinic and until I googled them, had no idea who they were I thought it was a fraudulent/scammer call. I immediately called XXXX XXXX XXXX because I felt unsafe and anxious. XXXX XXXX XXXX advised that all my bills were settled and I had nothing outstanding. I then called XXXX XXXX to ask if they had denied any claims submitted on my behalf, because in my head a bill could only stem from a denied claim and I would now be responsible for the balance. XXXX XXXX reassured me that they did not deny any claims that were presented to them all bills were paid. I decided to call XXXX XXXX XXXX from a number that was on the web ( feeling this would be safer than calling back the number that called me ). They verified the bill, but stated they could not provide any chart notes or documentation to explain the extent of their providers involvement in my care on XX/XX/XXXX. I thought this was strange. If a medical professional provides care, there should be some documentation of their involvement, otherwise that encounter did not happen. According to the medical records personnel, they have no medical records for me at XXXX XXXX XXXX. At that time, I did not ask for the name of a supposed provider, because after that phone call I was absolutely sure it was fraud. Furthermore, the bills from the hospital with which I was involved were paid off, so either someone made a mistake or this was not legit. The calls stopped. I forgot about the whole thing and moved on with my life. In Fall XXXX, I started getting threatening mail from a law office in XXXX XXXX where I now live. There were threats that I would be taken to court or have my wages garnished due to money I owed to a person I didnt recognize. I googled the name and discovered that it belonged to someone from a debt collection agency in XXXX, OR. In my head, I didnt have any debt that I know of, so I threw out both letters thinking it was probably scammers or something to that effect. Later that Winter, a random guy dropped off an envelope with someone I paid to shovel snow from my driveway. I did not open the envelope. I was scared that maybe someone was trying to harm our family. I threw it out. My partner encouraged me to call the police, but I didnt want to deal with it. I figured it would blow over, but we were definitely on edge for a few months ( especially with being a minority in our neighborhood ). Now when I think back, I wonder if maybe that person was attempting to serve a notice of some sort. However, nothing further happened after that. Earlier this year, XXXX, I reviewed my credit report. Something I do regularly because I like to stay on top of my finances. I was surprised to find a collection on my report. Again, this XXXX XXXX place was popping back into the picture. I disputed the account with XXXX ( the only bureau with the collection reported at the time ). The dispute was resolved stating that the account was legit and belonged to me. It will remain on my credit report. The outcome of the dispute prompted me to call the collection agency ( Professional Credit ) to gather more data. The collection agency was able to tell me that I was being billed for the date of service XX/XX/XXXX. I told them that could not be, because I was at XXXX XXXX XXXX that day and could not have been in both places at once. I told them I would reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXX again to try and get more clarification on this account, because it was all just odd. The collection agent told me that calling XXXX XXXX XXXX would be futile because Professional Credit now has responsibility of the account. Regardless, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX. They still could not find medical records for me, but was able to tell me that a XXXX XXXX XXXX was involved in my care They report that XXXX XXXX was present during my XXXX. When asked if the large sum of money that was paid out from my insurance to XXXX XXXX XXXX covered XXXX XXXX, the agent stated, No. XXXX XXXX XXXX prepares a separate bill for his services. Further questioning revealed that XXXX XXXX XXXX did not bill both my insurance companies for the service on XX/XX/XXXX. They billed XXXX and XXXX denied the claim stating that I have other insurance coverage. No one ever informed me of these events, neither XXXX nor XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX is now saying that it is too late to bill my insurance because the date of service is too far in the past. Not only are they now demanding that I pay for their service ( {$580.00} ), but the agent also let me know that I am responsible for paying the collection agency as well for whatever fees they have incurred ( $ XXXX ). As a patient, I feel like I am being dragged through the mud for something that was originally due to an error by XXXX XXXX XXXX and from lack of clear communication to begin with. If someone had fully explained the intricacies of what was going on and what information was missing, this could have been easily resolved. All they needed was the insurance information for my second insurance. Now, as a result of various errors and an unrelenting effort to gain {$580.00}, XXXX XXXX XXXX has ruined my credit, my ability to secure a loan to repair my house, and possibly student loan repayment opportunities as well. Extremely frustrating.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I made payment arrangements with Professional Credit Services, toward a debt owing in the municipal court for criminal and traffic offenses. I believe I owed about {$4600.00} in total ; which i believe includes the interest and fees charged by the agency ( the debt had been handed to professional credit services to enforce collection ). The contract i entered into, was to pay {$400.00} per month plus an initial downpayment of 1/3 - equal to {$1400.00}. I went down to the agency with a friend and signed the pertinent paperwork initiating the {$400.00} ACH payments which were to start on XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed that the agency was taking {$100.00} on the XXXX of each month, in addition to the {$400.00} i agreed to. I did not worry about it though, since i assumed these amounts were going toward the cause. Having entered into the payment arrangement on the municipal court amounts, made me eligible to regain my driving privileges, and i in fact, did so in XX/XX/XXXX. The last payment that came out of my account was for XXXX. Given that this amount differed from the rest ; i assumed that the debt had been paid in full. i received no further attempts to collect and no correspondence or phone calls from the agency indicating otherwise. But in XX/XX/XXXX, i received notice from the DMV which stated that my driving privileges would be suspended due to a balance outstanding on two docket numbers ; those docket numbers i believed were involved in the gamut of those i had paid on for the preceding months under agreement. I contacted the municipal court and they told me the debt was in fact with Professional Credit Services ; and i would need to contact them to settle it. During the first conversation, the call was lost or else the man on the other end of the line had hit mute, since i suddenly couldn't hear anything. I hung up and called back. This time a woman helped me ; and i asked her three times if i could get some type of an accounting from them because what she was telling me did not add up to what i knew my records reflected. She was talking only about medical files and other, newer files, but made no mention of the nearly {$5000.00} in payments i had made since last XX/XX/XXXX. She avoided the question about whether i could see an itemized accounting of the files to which the {$400.00} payments were applied. Then she said something about not being able to upload one of the files ; and when i started to become annoyed, she pushed back, interrupting me and rudely telling me to calm down. I then went immediately down to the office, and requested copies of all transactional details, itemized statements, and accounting, plus contract agreements signed by me, that they had within their files, under my name, since the beginning of time. The receptionist took a very long time, scrolling, clicking with her computer mouse, and then, talking with a supervisor, once, and then twice, verifying she could provide some information ( i couldn't hear what was being said ). She handed me a packet of documents ; which consisted of : two open ( unpaid claims ), unrelated to the court, and one satisfied claim, which was one of the claims the {$100.00} payments had supposedly covered. I went home and pulled up my financial institution documents, and found every payment i had ever made to Professional Credit. No fewer than {$5400.00} was paid to the agency since last XX/XX/XXXX ; and no documentation was provided which clarifies and substantiates the application of any of the {$400.00} payments. But i can see where on one of the files, there are substantial interest payments that this agency has taken. The conclusion is this. What i believe happened is that, Professional Credit services either assessed more interest or else it decided that interest had not been paid in full. Therefore, they reallocated the applied payments to cover their " interest '' fees on the dockets already covered, thus, creating " debt '' with the court system that had otherwise already been paid for. I believe the monies in their open file were reallocated to cover the interest and fees ; and then they simply failed to supply the information. This created communication to be generated, that alerted the court that i was out of compliance with payment arrangements, causing the court to take action to suspend my driver 's license. The agency thus hopes that i will make a new payment arrangement to cover the amounts they now say are owing, some six months after the debt had settled. In effect, they indirectly leveraged the power of the court to gain additional funds to cover fees and interest to which they weren't entitled. And that, i believe to be illegal.

I called this company to pay a doctor bill I had misplaced and told by the doctors HR office, had been sent to collections. I paid the debt owed plus XXXX cent interest. I was interrupted during this transaction by the representative who wanted to discuss some other outrageous unknown debt. I told her I was calling to pay the doctor bill I owed. about a week or two later I found a letter in my mailbox telling me I was going to be garnished for a debt that was not identified, and that I would be paying the collection company an additional $ XXXX per a court order dated XX/XX/XXXX, filed XX/XX/XXXX. I called the courthouse records dept. and they did not know who the debt was for since it was so old they only had the origination date of XX/XX/XXXX but no creditor information.. the letter also informed me my bank had been sent a garnishment letter. I called my bank and was told there was no letter, however 3 days later this collection company took XXXXcents out of my savings account which was all I had in it. I called my bank and asked why they had informed me there was no garnishment letter, they finally got me through to the correct person who told me they did receive a garnishment letter on XXXX XXXX XXXX but told the collection company my wages are exempt. social security and government pension but could not be moved to savings because they are auto deposited into checking which is why this collection company took my XXXXcents. I did not receive a certified letter or served in person. I was not sent a letter asking about this debt and explaining who and what it was for previous to the garnishment letter. I have never received anything about this debt filed 6 years ago. even when I was employed at the same employer for 21 years. I have not received letters or calls previous to this action. they took information I gave them for a valid debt with my doctor and used it to threaten me with garnishment. fortunately I have my banking with a credit union that values their members and they were not pleased by this action either and assured me they would let me know if this was attempted again. I sent a challenge letter to the collection agency asking for the name and contact of the original debt supposedly owed but have not received a response.this debt is over 6 years old, never served to me although I have lived here for 3 years and at my previous address for 4 years and have been employed by XXXX for over 20 years, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. now on social security they mail me a letter in an envelope not identified as a professional agency using information I freely gave them for another matter altogether and threatening my security by trying to garnish my very limited income without any prior warning. I have obtained legal advice because this debt should be past the SOL and also because the original amount seems to be {$340.00} and they want close to {$1000.00}. It is apparent they made no prior effort to contact me and just took information I gave them in good faith for a debt I truly owed in error by thinking I had already paid it and actually I am going to double check that because I think I paid it twice. In any case that is what happened and I am suffering undue XXXX wondering if they will keep bothering me about something that, if valid, should have been presented to me in XX/XX/XXXX before filing with the court for {$340.00} owed to an unknown party. I have had the same phone, had the same job and my address was never unavailable. It was an underhanded and behind the back move I believe, to try to garnish my bank account after I paid the {$30.00} in good faith and never received any further information regarding any other debts I may have or had with them. I am very upset.it is very unprofessional behavior on the part of the collection agency and still is since I am still unaware of who the {$340.00} was owed to 6 yrs. ago.

I am on XXXX, and have low income. I am trying to pay off any debts I have, but I am ill, and have many bills. But my complaint is about a judgment re : XXXX bills and Ray Klein aka Professional Credit Service. Here is summary : I had a medical bill that was going to drop off my credit this month of XXXX XXXX. I had a utility bill that I did not even know I had until the debt collector started harrassment, but it was due also to drop off my credit this month after 7 years. A third bill, was a phone bill that had not contacted me in years. I believe since XXXX. I had not looked at my credit report for at least 6 months due to illness and other issues. Then suddenly, I start getting a lot of activity. First, back in XXXX or XXXX of XXXX, not sure, I was staying temporarily with a man who was my roommate in XXXX Oregon. He is NOT MY SPOUSE OR DOMESTIC PARTNER. I was NOT THERE AT THE TIME, AND HE HAS A XXXX. He started getting calls on his cell phone. He got phone calls from several different phone numbers, starting with XXXX, XXXX etc. One of the numbers was? XXXX, and XXXX. There was a woman on the phone, who called him, and was yelling, abusive in her tone and asking if he knew me, XXXX XXXX. Asking if I lived there, and telling him I owed a debt, and that I would be taken to court etc, and other scary things said to him, if I did not respond. ( The Fair Debt Collection Practice Act -FDCPA- ) restricts debt collectors in engaging in contacting a person other than the spouse and talking about the debt of the person who they imply owes the debt. The caller called over and over again, and when asked who is this, she said " XXXX XXXX '' and that they represented a legal firm. He initially said " I am not the person you are looking for '' and hung up as she was yelling and abusive, and he said " do not call me again, you need to contact XXXX XXXX. '' ( I was not there at the time but he told me this later and I told him after looking it up that XXXX XXXX had been affilliated with threatening many people, and there blogs and forums about this name, and also the name mentioned was Ray Klein. Ray Klein is on XXXX, XXXX, and others. XXXX said to my roommate per his report to me that they made at least 10 harrassing calls, said they represented Ray Klein, and wanted to know where I get mail, and if he could get mail to me. He felt harrassed, and told them yes. A month or so later, someone else came to the door, and I was NOT THERE, as I was homeless, and staying on his couch part time, but getting mail there. They handed him a group of papers, with information about Ray Klein, and Small Claims Court, and the XXXX bills mentioned above, along with a large dollar amount different than what I owed. Per the FDCPA, they are not allowed to intimidate into paying, and I later received in the mail, paperwork, that looked like I had to go to court, and looked like a Lien was placed, as well as the fact that I now have a judgement on my credit. Please investigate, I am on a library computer, have 8 minutes, but after initial contact with ME, not a roommate, per FDCPA, the debt collector has only 5 days to respond with information about the original creditors, and I never got a chance. Now there is a judgement! It lowered my credit and can affect my life, and housing! I see he has done this to many people, and I was not even sure he was the real person to whom the debt was owed plus XXXX of the debts were going to drop off this month! I want to know how the timing of this occurred, I personally was NOT SERVED, it was done wrong. The inquiries to my roommate can only be about my address. Also, the third party ( my roommate ) can only be contacted ONE TIME by the debt collector. There were many violations under FDCPA. Please help.

I recently discovered that despite the companys inability to validate the debt, with as much as detailed description of the debt, they continue to report it on my credit report ; however, have changed the dollar amount on the account. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX company and inquired about the debt and I was advised the following : Confirmation of letter received by me in XX/XX/XXXX I was told a validation letter sent to me XXXX of XXXX. I was told specifically that the letter mailed to me stated that the " XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted the original provider and validated the debt. '' I was told there is no documentation as these things are sometimes done over the phone or electronically. When I asked for clarification, exactly what date this letter was sent, I was then told XX/XX/XXXX or " sometime between XXXX of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX because the letter was requested XXXX. '' I requested specific information regarding the debt such as original bill and services. I was placed on extended hold. Upon return to line a supervisor named XXXX took over the call and advised the following : My file only had one document in it and it is the letter I sent to the company. The department that deals with this is no longer in the office and she shows no response on their end to the request I made. However, It is possible they have documents ; they have switched systems since then. She will get request out to department that investigate this so that they can determined what they want to do from here. I contact the company again on XXXX for additional clarification I was advised that a letter was sent to me on XX/XX/XXXX. I requested a copy of the letter they sent to me, as it was never received. I was advised by XXXX that they could not give me a copy of the letter as it was private file information. I reminded him that it was a correspondence sent to me and I am entitled to it. He again stated that the letter previously mailed to me on XX/XX/XXXX was private file information and would not be provided without a subpoena. I then requested supervisor. I then spoke to XXXX. XXXX XXXX then advised the letter does not exist ; that they do not retain all correspondence sent or received. I confirmed again, however that my letter dated XX/XX/XXXX was on file. I asked about my request in XXXX. XXXX advised that the letter sent was requesting additional information, but they are unable to produce this alleged letter. She also advised that there are NO notes indicating that the original provider was ever contacted from the date that my request was received. My request for them to validate the debt made on XX/XX/XXXX was not addressed, responded to or investigated. The company will not or can not provide documents they allege were sent to me after said request. Two different representatives knowingly provided me with false information as to the content and/or existence of the alleged letter ( as confirmed by supervisor XXXX and supervisor XXXX ) and the action or inaction of the company to investigate the request as required to. A representative knowingly provided false information regarding attempts to validate the debt, as confirmed by supervisor XXXX and supervisor XXXX. The company contends they have no documents in the file that would validate said debt, and they have failed to remove the inaccurate accounts from my credit. They refuse and have failed to comply with the procedures outlined by 15 U.S. Code 1681i. My consumer rights have continuously been violated by this agency without cause or remedy.

XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a cell phone [ {$160.00} ] from highly endorsed ad in the XXXX mag. XX/XX/XXXX phone failed to connect on the XXXX network when I was stranded due to auto breakdown and was unable to reach XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. for a tow. The 2nd time was my attempt to connect to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. with the identical problem. XXXX XXXX allowed a replacement swap. Assuming I was now trouble-free, the same problem occurred when in XX/XX/XXXX, my car was on a mechanic 's lift and I tried to call XXXX [ XXXX XXXX, NY ]. XXXX sent another SIM card, but the problem continued o exist ONLY on the XXXX network except for XXXX XXXX own test XXXX number which I thought was strange. Meanwhile, I had been paying in FULL, monthly and on time for defective equipment! The problem : - I could hear the other party, they could not hear me AND the cell phone failed to recognize dialing prompts on the XXXX numbers on all 3 occasions. I had had enough, needed another reliable phone immediately for a long distance drive. I went to a nearby mobile phone XXXX store to see if the rep. could duplicate my issue or show me if I was doing something wrong, before I made another purchase. He also tried those same numbers and concurred with the asst. mgr. as a witness. The defective phone [ via XXXX ] used XXXX XXXX XXXX tower and my new purchase [ {$110.00} ] via XXXX ALSO uses the XXXX XXXX XXXX tower. I tested the new phone before leaving the shop XX/XX/XXXX which is when I switched my number to XXXX. and have had trouble-free service ever since. I reported this to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, rcvd a response from them XX/XX/XXXX over my last bill which, disgusted with the partial service, I decided to abort on my credit card. XXXX sent me a letter XX/XX/XXXX indicating I now had a XXXX balance. Thus, I assumed all was over. I had paid for months not aware that I only had partial capability with the equipment. Reported this to XXXX, XXXX [ where I purchased the phone ], NYS AG, which unable to get a resolve forwarded it to the AG ofc. in XXXX, OR, which has done nothing. Now the matter has been referred to Collections to the escalated amount of [ {$99.00} ]. XXXX alleges my bank took two weeks to send the dispute charge. XXXX does not deserve any more since I had paid for service it could not even provide over the 7.5 months I kept the phone!! THIS IS ELDER ABUSE and harassment. I asked them to compromise and all it provided was a {$23.00} credit. I should have given them my XX/XX/XXXX tow bill of [ {$120.00} ], had I gotten though to XXXX my tow would have been FREE!. I have spent enough, have endured aggravation, ... whatever happened to the customer is right? Why would I go through all this trouble.I told XXXX I did not have {$99.00}, that it did n't deserve anyway. XXXX told me to return the replacement phone to be tested and needed my cell number to do so even after I purchased a new phone elsewhere and switched my number. I told them if they send a pre-paid mailer I would. XXXX did not., The OR AG ofc. has done nothing. I have reference numbers for all these contacts. I have never in my life gone through such insensitive, disrespect as a consumer. I 've reference numbers for all the contacts and all correspondence.

BACKGROUND I owed a {$260.00} balance to XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX visit - DOS XXXX/XXXX/15. I thought it was covered by insurance, but was applied to the deductible. I could n't pay and the debt was turned over to a local collection agency, Ray Klein, Inc. dba Professional Credit Service, in XXXX 2015. They 're located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OR XXXX. PCS tried to contact me by phone and letter several times. On phone messages they would never say what they were calling about, or leave a reference number, or what company they were with, or any information besides a person 's name. I was n't even sure what it was for a long time, and ignored the calls. I did n't respond to letters, not because I disputed the validity of the debt, but I could n't pay it due to a lack of regular income ( self-employed ; slow period ). PCS eventually filed a small claims case against me in XXXX XXXX, Oregon. PART 1 OF COMPLAINT Charging a consumer for communication costs by sending certified mail notices with postage due violates the FDCPA, section 808. ( 5 ) The small claim suit for {$450.00} was filed in court on XXXX XXXX, but not sent to my PO Box in XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX via first-class mail. ( The post office will only do 1 forwarding order in a 12 month period. I moved twice in 5 mos last year, so mail that relies on a physical address is being returned to senders. ) When PCS mailed court paperwork, they also sent it certified with {$10.00} in postage owing. I refused to accept it on XX/XX/XXXX, as it was the same envelope and return address as the one I had just picked up from the PO Box . The long-time postal employee, XXXX, said this collection agency is NOTORIOUS for this practice, and encouraged me to send it back and make them pay for it. Is it possible for the CFPB to investigate the frequency of this practice at PCS/Ray Klein, beyond my individual complaint? PART 2 OF COMPLAINT PCS is using deceptive communication practices in trying to collect another {$20.00} after I paid the full balance owed, directly contradicting their paperwork. I think it violates the FDCPA, Section 808 ( 1 ). I paid the full balance owing - including court costs and a {$98.00} " collection fee '' - within 14 days of receipt as instructed. I mailed a personal check on XX/XX/XXXX via certified letter, with paperwork they sent me, signed as instructed. It cleared the bank within 10 days. When I called Ray Klein, Inc. on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. to advise payment was in the mail, XXXX XXXX said I still owed {$20.00} for postage owing and related fees. She demanded to know why I had n't called their office prior to paying the debt to verify the balance, and I said their paperwork clearly listed a balance owed and instructions to pay within 14 days. There was no notice of additional funds owed, or the possibility of more owed after a certain date, only the threat of a court judgment being entered if I did n't pay. XXXX talked to her supervisor, XXXX, and both insisted {$20.00} was still owed. We ended the call with the dispute unresolved, and she stated they would wait 7-10 days for my check payment to clear, then try to collect the additional amount. Please see supporting documentation. Thank you

I was insured with XXXX in XXXX Oregon, a Health insurance company. ( could and should file a separate fraud complaint against them also ) I got very sick and needed to stay in hospital for a few days. I was covered under XXXX insurance who in start of 2016 made statements in XXXX newspaper ( XXXX area ) and on all TV news in Oregon that they were insolvent and about to go belly up as in Bankrupt and would be shut down. At that time I paid my premiums until I deemed that switching to another carrier would be more to my advantage and did not want to take any chances with a company whose mismanagement of funds was so dire it announced it would end up being broke I had a lot of medical issues that continued and got statements from XXXX stating they had covered everything. Now I am in court with XXXX XXXX a division of Professional Credit Services out of XXXX Oregon and I am being sued. This mess is three fold. The hospital where I was treated up to XX/XX/XXXX I went in for testing every other day and at no time during my visits did anyone mention I owed them a dime. I had asked on many occasions if my insurance was covering everything and I was told yes and not to worry. My illness led me to the hospital XXXX me. I was admitted into the XXXX. XXXX XXXX is said to have been playing " coding games '' and did not pay items they told the hospital they would or were supposed to pay and it landed in collection. My last visit to the hospital was XX/XX/2016 and I was told I had a XXXX balance, so how it is now that I have almost XXXX in a lawsuit from some predatory collection agency who I am going to file a separate complaint with. XXXX is a scam and countless other people I know bailed on this company when it was announced it would go out of business. I am now being punished and XXXX is violating my original insurance by not paying what they said they would pay. XXXX failed to communicate with me and instead of paying what they said ( insurance fraud ) they then bounced it back to XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Oregon, the hospital and they, after telling me I owed them nothing, then turned around and were not paid by XXXX and instead of losing face or re-negging on their original statements to me, they instead turned me over to a predatory collection agency that has violated my ever consumer rights. PROFESSIONAL CREDIT SERVICES and XXXX XXXX their legal division have refused to itemize the bills and have told me and threatened me to put a lien on my home. Interestingly enough I do not own a home. Also threatened to come after me, whatever that means. They are in violation of every law and rule regarding debt collection. especially when the debt is not or should not need to be paid based on the very words of the hospital and XXXX XXXX XXXX were paid handsomely by XXXX for the majority of my bills and should have been covered completely after my small deductible was eaten up. XXXX is in violation of misrepresenting the facts to the hospital and the hospital deals directly with Professional Credit Services who are criminals in every respect and XXXX XXXX based on their reputation are known to violate every law regarding this issue

I was treated at a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX over the XX/XX/XXXX holiday. Due to the holiday, despite me being treated in their XXXX XXXX clinic, because they performed XXXX at the hospital on the same campus, they billed me for both hospital and XXXX XXXX services. I believe this was three years ago. I immediately paid the the first bill when it was received. I disputed the hospital bill with them directly because their on-call radiology doctor misread the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX when it wasn't. This caused the XXXX XXXX physician to sell me an expensiveXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I do not believe they actually reviewed my dispute and was never notified of their findings, but instead received notification that I had been sent to collections. I was so frustrated by their overall incompetency I decided to pay it anyways. I believe this was around XXXX of 2020. They billed me using the two different account numbers and mailing addresses for each invoice, which I paid via my " bill pay '' services at my bank, using their information. A few months later I received notification that I had again been sent to collections for this bill, so I called them directly to resolve. I spent over three-hours on the phone with their billing department where I learned that they had received both payments, but due to their accounting system, they are unable to apply the funds to the correct account because someone in their company misapplied both checks to one account. I asked them what I was supposed to do about that since I don't work for them, to which they had no answer. I eventually spoke with their manager due to the insanity of their logic, who verified that they had in fact received both payments, but for good measure, he requested that I send them a copy of the canceled check, which I did. I believe his name was XXXX, but it's been so long now that I don't honestly remember ; however, he was supposed to call me back to verify they received it but never did. Shortly after this I received notification that they had again sent me to collections over this. I called them again and spent another three-hours on the phone trying to resolve this. Their billing department confirmed that they had received the canceled check showing it had been deposited into their account and that it had my correct account number on the notation line. However, again they explained that they had misapplied that payment and didn't know how to resolve the issue in their system. I have told them that they are now harassing me and that I am not addressing this with them again. I believe I have acted in good faith to help them sort out their accounting errors, but on top of their medical incompetence, I have spent all of the time I intend and would file a complaint if they contact me again. Last week I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to collect on this medical charge.

I purchased a service from a company called XXXX XXXX back in XXXX XXXX XXXX , the service involved XXXX virtual phone numbers to be used for my computer programmers to develop an online defense system against fraud. After almost two months of trying to make there equipment and services to work everyone just gave up and XXXX XXXX supposedly cancelled the service, as can be verified through email correspondence attached. They claim in there emails that I was notified on six occ asions by email and phone, this is a lie, after asking them to send me the emails they said they were not in the system. When they decided to send the account to collection the exact same thing occurred, this company NEVER once contacted me for money, not by email and not by phone. Keep in mind that XXXX XXXX had all of my personal information including my address, my cell number which I have had for over 20 years and my emails. I found out about this " Collection '' from j oining a credit bureau and saw it totally wiped XXXX points from my credit score whi ch in turn caused a bank loan to be denied recently. I disputed this collection and after some time I heard back from all XXXX credit bureaus, XXXX agreed with me and wiped off the collection, but both XXXX and XXXX did not and I still have this collection against me which bewilders me to no end. During this situation I found that the system for the consumer is totally inept, for example to appeal the decision you are allowed only 100 wor ds!!! In my case it is a very complex situation and to fully understand the situation I can assure you it will require probably a 1000 or 10000 words. As far as who I am and how I pay is important, I am XXXX years of age, served honorably in the XXXX XXXX and character is why you pay bills, on or about XXXX I got very sick and my income dropped to XXXX , BUT I paid off everyone I owed, as agreed, during that time, as can be verified in the bureaus. Since I did not start using credit i.e. did not have the ability or earnings to pay debts my credit was wiped out, I do remember back in XXXX or so my credit score was XXXX . Just wanted everyone to know ... One other matter I noticed, perhaps does not mean anything, but XXXX XXXX and Professional Credit Services are in the same state and across the street from each other, I think they are owned by the same company, if so woul d not that alone violate some regulations or laws? I have attached the results of the credit bureaus decision along with my bank denial for credit based on this collection plus a word document that has the email correspondence between my self and XXXX XXXX . I thank you for any and all consideration in this matter ...

In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Professional Credit Services attempting to collect a debit in the amount of {$230.00} listed for collection by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not incur this debt. I immediately sent with a letter to dispute the debt and to request debt validation. I sent the letter via Certified Mail. I have a return receipt showing Professional Credit Services received it on XX/XX/XXXX. In the meantime, I sent an email to XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX. I wanted to know how an account was established in my name when I never applied for it. XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX - XXXX responded to my email. She said someone drove into a transfer station on XX/XX/XXXX, dumped a load of solid waste, but could n't pay the fee. The transfer station had to open an account to collect the fee at a later date. The transfer station used a vehicle registration to open the account, but I no longer owned that vehicle. I sold it on XX/XX/XXXX. I informed XXXX that I had submitted a properly filed Report of Sale to the Washington State Department of Licensing on XX/XX/XXXX, and that I can not be held responsible for a debt incurred on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX informed me that Professional Credit Services have to substantiate that. On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed another letter to Professional Credit Services via Certified Mail. The letter included a detailed explanation of how the debt came to be put in my name. I also provided adequate proof that it was not my debt. I included a copy of the Report of Sale as evidence that I did not own the vehicle when the debt was incurred. I also provided a copy of the Bill of Sale bearing my signature and the signature of the new owner. I have a Return Receipt showing Professional Credit Services received my letter on XX/XX/XXXX, but on XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter attempting to collect the debt. The collection notice included debt verification in the form of a receipt bearing a signature of the person who incurred the debt. The last name is not legible, but the first name looks like " XXXX. '' It 's not my signature and it 's not the signature of the buyer, XXXX XXXX, as it appears on the Bill of Sale. The debt verification also included a computer screen print showing the account information on file with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The driver 's license field is blank. XXXX XXXX admits that the transfer station did not obtain any identification from the driver. The account information shows a phone number, but the number has never been assigned to me.

XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX are pursuing me for medical debts after failing to submit a claim to XXXX and failing to properly process my charity care application. I have repatedly written to XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX to notify them that these debts are not valid. XXXX failed to submit a claim to XXXX for these services. I had valid XXXX coverage at the time I received these services in XXXX and XXXX of XXXX and provided my XXXX information to XXXX before I received all of these of services. On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for charity care for the services received at XXXX. XXXX failed to process my charity care application in a timely manner and continued to pursue me for these debts. I have attached a complete copy of my charity care application including copies of the bills from XXXX. Please note there are three account numbers provided by the creditor and three corresponding account numbers provided by the collection agency. I have attached a copy of the most recent collection notices I have received regarding all three of these accounts. The first account number provided by the creditor is XXXX and the corresponding account number provided by the collection agency is XXXX. The principal amount of this bill is {$280.00}. The second account number provided by the creditor is XXXX and the corresponding account number provided by the collection agency is XXXX. The principal amount of this bill is {$420.00}. XXXX sent me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX explaining that an error had been made in the processing of my charity care application and that I had in fact been approved for charity care to cover all of these two bills. I have attached a copy of this letter. However, on XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX demanding payment for these two bills plus interest and threatening me with a negative credit report. The third account number provided by the creditor is XXXX and the corresponding account number provided by the collection agency is XXXX. The principal amount of this bill is {$190.00}. About eight months ago, I made a complaint here regarding Professional Credit Services ; for whom I overpaid by several hundred dollars on court-related fines. I discovered that, Professional credit services, whom I set up the payment plan regarding two files they had with the court. I made a large downpayment as part of the process setting up the payment schedule. Somehow, although the debt collection had closed once paid in full, I received notice from the DMV that I still had outstanding tickets and my drivers license was going to be suspended as a result of nonpayment. I did some investigating and discovered that I had actually overpaid the company by quite a bit. However when I asked the company for its records they did not give me records for the file with the tickets outstanding In question. Naturally, as they had been handling this debt, I was very frustrated at giving them so much money and being paid in full only to receive the letter from the DMV that says I still had two tickets outstanding. I am under the impression that the credit service stole my money and didnt apply it appropriately but rather paid themselves a healthy amount of interest, while letting one of the debts languish. I went to the court and asked that any and all files be transferred back to the municipal court for collection since they dont charge interest and since they are easier to make payment arrangements with. The court honored the request. However, where is the extra money that the CFPB owes me an explanation for? It took them forever to respond ; and now they are calling this a misunderstanding and stating that they will send a full accounting that shows how they have applied the historic payments. Obviously I am very interested in seeing this but, here again for the second time, Im told I will receive the information. The company said in their answer here that I would be receiving the documentation shortly, but guess what? Still I have not seen it. I want this company to follow through with their promises and pursuant to the law, show me the info That I am entitled to - or, reduce the balance to XXXX ; and if they cant give an explanation that shows where my money went, which was far exceeding the actual amount of the debt to be paid, and without applying the payments evenly To both debt files like they were supposed to do, then I should actually be receiving a refund for money they took from me but to which they were not entitled.

I was in the midst of a divorce and living with a gentleman in Oregon around XXXX. When I left, in XXXX, there was a debt to the XXXX where we lived, but the man with whom I had been living had made arrangements with the XXXX XXXX to remove my name from the account as well as pay the outstanding balance. The balance was much lower than Professional Credit Services ( PCS ) are claiming and was paid in full. I was still going by my married name at the time, and it changed only after the divorce finalized just before I moved away from OR. The name on the notice from PCS was my old married name XXXX sort of, they did n't get the entire name completely correct ), not the legal name I have currently. That was in XXXX. The first notice I received from PCS was towards the end of XXXX which would put the the debt at over 6 years, which is past the statute of limitations in Oregon. I have written them, and told them that I no longer owe a debt to the XXXX XXXX and that it is past the statute of limitations. I gave them minimal information, and told them to no longer contact me or I would report them. I received a second noticed from them in the mail on XXXX XXXX, XXXX 'offering help to pay my debt '. There is even less information in this notice than in the previous notice ( other than various account numbers XXXX. They do not seem to accept personal checks, only credit cards XXXX which I find suspicious ), and they did not heed my request to do further research into the debt they were trying to collect to find that it had been paid off. I received the first notice a month XXXX after I was remarried. I find it rather interesting that they suddenly found me after 6 years only after I had married and registered my name in various places by changing drivers licenses over, etc. I have lived in XXXX other states since OR, and am finally settled in a third with my husband. It is here they seemed to have found me. My complaint is that they are trying to collect on a debt that does n't exist and they are doing it 7 years later. Even if the debt still existed, they would be past the statute of limitations and, unless I am mistaken, this is illegal. I am keeping the promise I made to them when I first replied to their notice by reporting them in hopes that they will STOP trying to collect from me and others that do NOT OWE MONEY.

I found a lien against my house when I did a property search on XXXX last night. I have no knowledge of this lien and had no knowledge of this debt either. The lien was filed in 2018 in the amount of almost XXXX. When I was younger I was very irresponsible with my credit, i didn't pay my bills or credit cards, along with medical bills, they all went unpaid. If this lien has incurred from those debts, I'd assume this is illegal since I've had no notice of this debt in over a decade. No phone calls or letters, no knowledge of a court date. According to ORS XXXX the lien was supposed to be perfected which includes a statement of demand, which I never received. I believe ray Klein inc is guilty of violating ORS XXXX of false swearing because the court records for this lien mention the owner of the debt being notified or having knowledge and under the comments the only thing it says is " personal. '' What does that even mean? Someone from ray Klein inc claims they personally notified me of the debt or court notice? I can only guess what any of it means since I wasn't notified nor was I there to defend myself. Also in oregon the statue of limitations for debt is SIX YEARS. again I have no knowledge of this debt but I would love to see proof of this debt being as recent as six years ago because I highly doubt that. If this debt is a medical bill which ray Klein inc is known for collecting debt for ( providnece ) then ray Klein inc is guilty of violating ORS XXXX Q- attempts to collect any debt that the collector knows, or after exercising reasonable diligence would know, arises from medical expenses that qualify for reimbursement under the oregon health plan or under XXXX. I have been insured through XXXX for the last six years and it is not possible for me to have any medical debt that has not been paid. Another violation.. ORS XXXX files legal action to collect or files a legal action to collect a debt if the debt collector knows, or after exercising reasonable diligence would know that the statue of limitations bars the collection I could go on and on for all the violations this company is guilty of since there are so many laws to protect consumers for this very reason, for businesses like ray Klein inc . I plan to sue this company and hopefully they will be known for the fraud, falsifying, lying dirty rats they are.

When Working w ith The Collection Agency Professional Credit Services multiple calls was made to phone # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX . I Was told on the XXXX XXXX XXXX by XXXX in the litigation Department that a refund of my garnishments was sent back on the XXXX XXXX XXXX either to my home address or my employer. After finally verifying the letter that was a receipt of the full balance being XXXX , XXXX then explained the garnishment amount was to be returned in full. I had received the amount of {$440.00} already handed to me in form of a check issued on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX and was told that I would need to wait for XXXX XXXX XXXX to contact the client before I would receive the remaining {$830.00} and when XXXX Had told me of the return of that {$830.00} on XXXX XXXX , I had went ahead and used my credit card to make purchases expecting the check to reach my employer or my mother 's by the time I would got paid on the XXXX . I had already called my employer immediately following my first call with XXXX the week prior to the XXXX when XXXX informing me the check was sent out but yesterday on the XXXX XXXX XXXX I called the payroll department to follow up on the check to see if I should use my Credit Card anymore and that 's when I was told that the check has not been sent out yet and that PCS is still deciding on how to send it out. I have been working with PCS Sense XXXX when I first received the notice of the next round of garnishments which ended up happening fo r two p ay checks and PCS immediately returned the {$440.00} when I had sent the documents through email. But to find out that I was lied to several times through multiple calls along the lines of " You are not receiving the garnishments back '' from the first full round taken in XXXX too " The check was sent out '' and now the result of XXXX 's lie is there are purchases on my credit card that will become a financial burden because I was lied to which is deceiving behavior.

Approximately late XXXX I was contacted by a company stating I was overpaid on my XXXX disbursement a few years prior. Not knowing whether this was a legitimate debt I responded back wanting an explanation. I was not contacted back. In XXXX XXXX I was sent a letter from Professional Credit Services stating I owed a debt of {$1000.00}. I responded back to them asking what this debt was concerning. They responded back and said I would need to contact Oregon XXXX as they were not sure. I explained to them that if they were the XXXX collecting they needed to provide me with the information as it was not my debt. I did not hear from them again until mid XXXX stating that I still owed {$1000.00}. I consulted an Attorney friend and explained what was going on. As I was not paying for his sevices he just gave me some direction. on XXXX I wrote the Following. To : Professional Credit Services I am requesting ALL documentation regarding this matter of {$1000.00} owed. Please mail all documents to my address, and allow me time for me an an Attorney could look them over to see what action should be taken. One week later they responded with a letter stating I would have to contact Oregon XXXX. On XXXX I wrote them back telling them being they had not provided me with any documentation, or any proof of this debt I was not taking any responsibility for this debt. I explained to them I had not had anything to do with Pers in over 10 years. On XXXX I received another letter stating I still owe {$1000.00} and to contact them. I immediately wrote them back stating I do not feel I am responsible for this Debt and I feel they are harassing me and if the debt is correct why has it taken over 10+ years and there may be statutes of limitations. I explained to them to either leave me alone or take me to court to settle this dispute. Today XXXX I received a response letter stating they want, my attorney name, phone and address. As I have not retained an attorney and do n't feel I should have to at my expense. Could you please advise me as to the direction I should take as I am fed up dealing with matter.

I have a medical bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX here in XXXX, Oregon. The bill was only {$450.00}. I accumulated the bill due to I had been put into the hospital after a ex-husband became XXXX XXXX with me. He was XXXX and put into XXXX for XXXX. Long story short. I was not working at the time and going through a divorce. A non-profit battered women group helped me file divorce papers and achieve a restraining order against the ex-husband. My medical bill unfortunately was sent to a collections agency here in XXXX, Oregon. They contacted me and I started making making payments to them for the bill in person. I started receiving repeated phone calls from them daily. They left many voice messages on my phone for my ex-husband and his debt. I started receiving my ex-husband 's bills that were being turned into the same collection agency at my home address from XXXX XXXX here in XXXX, Oregon that he owed money to.I called the debt collection company ( Ray Klein Inc. ) multiple times and told the receptionist in person and through voice messages that I do not appreciate being harassed regarding my ex-husbands debt. I told them repeatedly to stop calling me and sending me his bills. I felt that I would never get over the nightmare that he caused me because now I was being haunted by a debt collector leaving messages on my phone regarding him and sending me his bills. What eventually happened was they quite contacting me regarding my debt that I was paying on. I told them repeatedly that my ex-husband was not living at my address and told them of what he did to me. No response. Now, my debt has incurred a {$100.00} in finance charges from the debt collection agency. They never sent me any other letters after the time that I contacted them regarding my ex-husbands debt. I am now being referred to an attorney for the debt. The debt collection has now been filed with the courts. A lawyer has been contacted and is now pursuing collection from me.

Greetings, I received a phone call last month with a voicemail stating a credit collection company was calling to collect on a debt. I was pretty sure it was a scam because I know I owe nothing except a few credit cards I keep up on. I called to ask them not to call again and I knew it was a scam. She immediately knew my name from the number I dialed, she proceeded to ask if this was in fact my correct phone number, which it is/was. She then asked for my mailing address. At this point I stopped her and asked what this was regarding before I give out any more information. She asked me if I was represented by an attorney. In my quick thoughts, I thought this my be something to do with my divorce, which was completed in XX/XX/2018. I responded with " yes ', but quickly backtracked because my divorce is final and my attorney as since retired. I asked again what this was regarding. She told me I needed to have my attorney call to resolve this. I explained that A.my attorney is since retired and B. my name is attached to a collection and I have every right to know what this is. C. an attorney has an hourly price and I'm surely not going to hire an attorney at my expense to get something cleared that is my name. bottom line, she refused to give me ANY information. I have to assume this is a medical bill that my husband didn't pay and I'm on the hook. In any case, my hands are tied because they won't work with me. My credit will be destroyed due to this, if its not already. I have received no written letter, nor has my ex husband. Is this even legal? It seems extremely unfair. XXXX XXXX a compliance specialist with the Division of Financial Regulation, urged me to make contact with CFPB. The collection agency is XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. License XXXX/NMLS XXXX I hope you can help in some way? I really don't want this on my credit and I don't have the resources to get an attorney. Thank you kindly, XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/2016, I paid the full balance owed on a judgment that Ray Klein Inc in XXXX Oregon in the amount of {$630.00} had against myself. We are currently trying to buy a house, so we were paying off debts in order to bring our credit score up. It has been 13 days since the debt has been paid in full and the debt is still not showing that it has been satisfied and is still lingering as unsatisfied with the XXXX County Court System. Calls have been made by my mortgage broker to Ray Klein in order to have this debt removed from my credit report. Nothing has been changed and they have not disclosed when this will be shown as satisfied due to their constant excuses. When they want the debt paid, they harass without any problem, garnish wages, sue people without an attempt at even collecting on the debt, call them relentlessly and even call people at their place of employment. However, when it comes to showing that a debt has been paid in full and is satisfied, call them relentlessly and even call people at their place of employment. However, when it comes to showing that a debt has been paid in full and is satisfied, they drag their feet. The people my mortgage broker and my husband have spoken with know we are currently in the process of purchasing a house and at this point is feels like they are purposefully holding out on showing the debt as satisfied. They also failed to tell us that they had other debts they were holding besides the judgment until we were ready to pay the judgment in full, with the exception of a past medical bill from XXXX. So now we are still paying a debt through this shady company who failed to inform us of further debts owed with a high accrued interest balance. I want this issue corrected in a timely manner, which they have failed to do and feels they are purposefully holding out on.

On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I received an email from my brokerage informing me that they had received a Writ of Garnishment for XXXX from Ray Klein , Inc. dab XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was blown away as this was the first time I had been notified of any debts with a Ray Klein , Inc . I immediately contacted my legal membership and had an attorney pull and review the file. He told me that the file did look like a legally obtained judgment obtained by default on XX/XX/XXXX. He told me the original debt was a series of accounts totaling {$2000.00} back in XXXX. He told me the collection company had hired an attorney and I should contact the collection company in an attempt to remedy this. I did contact Ray Klein , INC . They told me the only way to remedy this was to pay the amount in full and that due to interest the amount was now {$9000.00}. I requested proof that this was even my debt and proof of service and they told me that they did not have to give me anything. A few days later I went to the local courthouse and got a complete copy of the file. A man named XXXX XXXX, process server, for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. swears under oath that he personally serviced me at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to an address that I did not reside. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX denied a motion of default, due to documentation not meeting requirements of court rule 5.061 ( 6 ). Then there is a default judgement entered. Now a Writ of Garnishment for $ XXXX more money. The file seems poorly put together legally. I'm very angry that I was never properly served and no other notification to me in nearly 10 years. I'm sure Ray Klein, Inc. gets away with this type of practice often as in my search for answers regarding this matter I have come across other consumers who have fallen victim to this same method of garnishment.

I was contacted by two people claiming to be employed by Professionals Credit Services based out of XXXX ( maybe ) with an office listed in XXXX on there site professionalcredit.com. The first contact was from a man on XX/XX/22 claiming I owned XXXX XXXX XXXX {$25.00}. I responded that it did not sound right to me and that I would contact XXXX to sort it out. He was insistent I deal with it now but I just didn't feel comfortable providing him with my personal information. I contacted XXXX, who confirmed that the debt never exisited and if it did they would certainly have record of both the debt and what credit agency it was sent to. I assumed it was a clerical error but they suggested it was a scam since they have been recieveing alot of inquiries like mine, with a low amount that they have no record of. Today ( XX/XX/22 ) I was contacted by a person names " XXXX '' claiming to be from Professional Credit Services and demending {$28.00}. I explained that XXXX denied the debt ever exist and that this was a phising call. At which point she got combative and refuse to provide me with a mailing address. She ended up giving a XXXX XXXX XXXX Idaho that doesn't match the contact information listed on the website of the company she claims to be employed from. " XXXX '' appeared to be calling from her personal number, XXXX. After a brief search of my call history I found the first call from XXXX XXXX that came from XXXX. That number had made multiple attempts in XXXX to contact me. I am in the process of contacting the credit agency to put a hold on my credit and inform them of what I believe to be an attempt at phishing. I felt it was important to also file an official complaint so that this matter get investigated since I do believe it's fraud.

On XXXX/XXXX/15 my husband received XXXX services through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX billed us for the remaining balance after insurance paid their part. We had had prior experience with XXXX XXXX XXXX billing us for amounts that should have been settled through insurance. On XXXX/XXXX/15 I spoke to a person at XXXX XXXX XXXX who said the bill should be sent for adjustment and we should not pay while this was being done. We did not hear from them again. On XXXX/XXXX/15 we received a letter from Professional Credit Services saying the bill had gone to collection. We became concerned about our credit rating and paid the bill to PCS that day. When I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX they told me they had not sent the bill to PCS or any other debt collector but would look into it. I did not hear back from them. On XX/XX/XXXX we received a bill from a second collection agency, XXXX XXXX, for the same amount. XXXX XXXX XXXX now tell me they did send the bill to XXXX XXXX. It appears that they never did send the original bill for adjustment, nor did they attempt to re-bill us before sending it to collection. PCS tells me they did not buy the debt but had it sent to them by XXXX XXXX XXXX. They also say they paid the full amount to XXXX XXXX XXXX as soon as we paid the bill, on XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX claim they do n't have the money. Meanwhile, XXXX XXXX XXXX think they have a right to collect this money. We are very concerned about what having this debt looking like it is outstanding will do to our credit rating. We are also wondering where the money we paid to PCS has gone. I have spent a lot of time on the phone trying to address this, and would very much appreciate your assistance!

This medical bill debt {$5900.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX from a collection agency call Ray Klein Inc. dba Professional Credit Services was/is not mine but was a data entry mistake at the hospital. When first contacted via phone calls they kept talking about a medical bill that I had Insurance for and was already paid. But they would never send me any information on it as they said they would and hadn't heard from them again. So I thought they had found my insurance paper work. My current employer then got a writ of garnishment for {$13000.00} years later in XXXX stating that I was served at an old employer which is false and does not match my identity at all. The woman who was served was a XXXX '' XXXX XXXX year old with XXXX hair and I am a XXXX '' XXXX woman with XXXX and i still won't be XXXX till XXXX. So I went to the hospital to gather the medical bill in question and found that it was a bill in my name with incorrect and/or old information for services that I had not had with medical conditions I don't have and not the bill they were talking about before ( which they read back to me ) I had also obtained a lawyer to fight this in court as they wouldn't accept the evidence that I provided and after some time they sent a release of writ of garnishment stating to refund monies collected during garnishment after they received an email from my lawyer. So I thought they had finally cleared this mess up especially since it had been past the 6 year & 10 year statue of limitation. Then I got a call a month ago trying to collect on the debt again and I forwarded the info from the case and that should have been the end of it but no. My employer received a new writ of garnishment on Friday.

Professional credit service has not made any effort to contact me. I have received no letters from them. Ive not received any phone calls from them. The first I learned of this debt was from a letter I received in the mail from an attorney offering their services because a claim was filed against me. I contacted the courthouse and they provided me with the contact information for the company. I called the phone number provided on XX/XX/2019. This was the first time Ive spoken with this company. At this time I was asked to confirm my address, phone number, and asked if it was ok to leave a voicemail. I was informed they were trying to collect a debt in the amount of {$970.00} ... for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was also asked employment information which I declined to provide. I asked for the information on how to obtain the paperwork filed. I was given the phone number for someone named XXXX. I left him a voicemail on XX/XX/2019 letting him know Im hardly ever in XXXX XXXX and I was trying to get the paperwork from him ( assuming it would contain proof of debt ). I never received a return phone call from XXXX. However he did leave the paperwork with someone at my residence on XX/XX/2019. I called and spoke with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX requesting proof of the debt. Also informing her that I would have no problem agreeing to the principal balance and collection fee provided they send me proof of the debt. She stated that would not hold off their pursuit of the fees and they would still pursue the fees. I told her thats fine Ill go ahead and file my response with the courts however I would still like proof of the debt.

In XX/XX/2013 I was seen at XXXX XXXX hospital ER in XXXX, Oregon one evening because I had a XXXX XXXX and couldnt XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was given XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I was diagnosed with an XXXX XXXX XXXX and discharged that same day. My insuranced denied my claim stating I should have been seen by my primary care instead of ER but my symptoms were not extreme until after clinic hours. XXXX then billed me and contacted me by phone saying I had a bill and needed to make arrangements to pay. I explained that we were a family of XXXX without the ability to pay even with payments at that time. I did then ignore several phone calls made after the first 2 because they were just calling to collect what I didnt have. The claim was sent to collections after a few months and Im now being sued in small claims court by Ray Klein Inc dba XXXX XXXX XXXX! I contacted them to arrange a pay off to put on my already stretch credit card if they are will to settle on an amount and they will not budge a cent. I can arrange payments of {$100.00} but they said they will still pursue a judgement but not enforce unless I dont pay but a judgement will still ruin my credit. I have 1 week left to either pay off, request a hearing in small claims or except judgement .... I think a non profit hospital should have given me a break, they said they had tried so many times to contact me and I told them I spoke with them at the beginning but all they could offer was payments I couldnt afford at the Time. Ugh frustrating, I know nothing can be done with my case at this point but still writing this in hopes it wont happen to anyone else

In XXXX 2016, I attempted to reach out to Professional Credit Services located in XXXX, OR for a collections account that is related to a medical bill. During the conversation, the agency stated they would investigate this account ( when I never requested this ) and never sent me any information about this collection so I can understand what medical insurance documents I had to send to prove it was paid. I am not certain how something can be investigated if I never got any information about it and I am unsure what specifically they are attempting to collect. According to the credit bureaus, the collection is for the amount of {$540.00} originally and now it is stating it is {$770.00}. Firstly, I attempted to go on all credit reporting agencies sites ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) and it does not allow me to dispute because the collections agency Professional Credit Services recently updated their commentary on the account. The commentary on the account is not right! It says that the consumer disputed and the account is FCRA compliant. How is the account FCRA compliant if I never received any documents about this account and any evidence that the fees charged are valid. Under FCRA it states, '' report results to the consumer, generally within 30 days. '' It is more than 30 days at this point. There is no paperwork to denote the accuracy. I am requesting that the collections be removed from all bureaus due to noncompliance by this collections agency to properly send information pertaining to this account and adding on additional fees that were never identified or properly explained.

Good evening. On XX/XX/XXXX, Ray Klein Inc. filed a writ of garnishment against me for {$1500.00}. I just received notice of my companies intent to withhold all or a portion of this amount from my XX/XX/XXXX paycheck. Upon research I discovered that the majority of this collection is from my estranged wife 's medical debts. They combined several of my small debts with her big ones and filed against me. I was never served. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX and they said my estranged wife received the papers at her address. They said they had the right to collect her debts from me as we are married. It took me 30 minutes to get to the proper person to verbally explain the nature for the debts they are collecting. We have been separated, living in different homes since XX/XX/XXXX. She filed for divorce on @ XX/XX/XXXX. It is not final yet. My complaints are as follows : A ) I was never served prior to adjudication so I had no chance to respond. They say they served my ex but she says they did not. B ) I have received no written information of the nature and source of the combined debts they are collecting. I have not had the opportunity to determine whether the debts are valid or mine as I never received advance notice. C ) I should not be held liable for debts my ex has incurred since our separation. D ) The amount they are having garnished from me on the XXXX of this month will cause an undue hardship. E ) I have never lived at the address that they say they served. ( My former wife 's ) Please let me know what can be done to resolve this issues.

On XX/XX/XXXX I was seen at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, for a XXXX. I was XXXX and had a BRIEF consultation with a physician. I was placed in a XXXX and discharged. For that, I was billed an outrageous amount of {$3000.00}. The hospital deducted {$1000.00} and the insurance paid, leaving a balance of {$1300.00}. After arriving back home in XXXX, I went to see my own doctor on XXXX who also XXXX and made an assessment and billed me {$470.00}. My insurance paperwork from XXXX XXXX of XXXX states " The amount billed is greater than the amount allowed for this service. Based on our agreement with this provider, you 'll not be billed the difference. '' I repeatedly receive bills from XXXX XXXX and have twice sent in my insurance paperwork as well as faxing the same. XXXX XXXX has never responded to me as to their agreement or dispute of the paperwork. I was surprised then, to receive a notice from Professional Credit Service, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( or XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) attempting to collect this debt of {$1300.00}. I feel the exorbitant amount charged by XXXX XXXX, especially when compared with my doctor 's visit just 4 days later, was a deliberate and excessive charge on a patient residing out of state. My XXXX residence hinders me challenging this as I can not travel back and forth to obtain information and, as I 've mentioned previously, the hospital has refused to communicate in any way.

XXXX did not recognize this payment until XXXX of XXXX. They sent the payment of {$60.00} to the collection agency in XXXX of XXXX. I made XXXX aware of the issue, they paid the collection agency XXXX XXXX, and the interest is now on my credit report. I asked XXXX to pay me the interest or write off the interest and they wo n't. The interest is {$17.00}, it is not the amount but the lack of reconciling my account for 4 years and than demanding interest on money they had all along. XXXX owns the debit, the collection agency did not purchase the debit. From my point, this needs to be removed and back dated off my credit report. I have contacted both XXXX and Professional Credit Services and both will not release the interest on money they had for 4 years. I would like to see both these companies fined for abuse of my credit report. They both are aware the money was paid 4 years ago and are still demanding interest not earned due to the lack of reconciling my account.

Friday, XX/XX/2023, at XXXX XXXX first call. Several calls to me after - harassment. I received my first call as an urgent voicemail from XXXX, she said she was with Professional Credit Services, phone number XXXX. When I called them back a different lady answered my call and would not transfer to this XXXX. She said that they are collecting on an urgent debt and will be taking action and reporting to credit agencies if I don't pay now. Stupidly I gave her my birthdate and thought omg why did I do that, she asked me for my address and I told her I would not give that to her. She was mad. I know better than to give someone my birthday but she got me really upset. The debt she was with a XXXX XXXX. I told her clearly ' " I never had an account with them in my life and that she committed fraud and I was recording the conversation, which I did record and I have it on my phone if you want it. Again, I have no debts at all. Also, I filed XXXX XXXX during covid but this company was never listed because again I never had an account with XXXX XXXX or whatever she was calling it. Please advise what to do and what you can do with this information, I am worried they are calling many people and they are all frauds. When I asked her my email they said a XXXX, (? ) I said that is wrong I gave them my email and said send to this to me in writing. I have not seen anything yet. Thank you so much.

So my situation is a little more complicated than what is listed above. I 've tried calling the CFPB but she could n't help me. Apparently I had debts in collection in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX right as I was changing jobs, I asked for a statement. I changed jobs and had a hard time with familial things at the same time and that was the last time I heard from this Credit reporting agency. Since I work for the Veteran 's Administration and it was hacked right after I started in XX/XX/XXXX, my credit is monitored through XXXX. Today I got on to check activity and it showed activity from this credit reporting agency from XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have not heard or seen ANY activity since XX/XX/XXXX from this agency. When I ran my credit report through XXXX, it shows XXXX accounts with Professional Credit Service that are CLOSED. When I called XXXX and asked why they had n't contacted me, all they said was we contacted you XX/XX/XXXX and that was the last we heard from you ( me ). I do n't understand how they can legally close accounts and reopen them and start posting to credit reporting agencies two years later with no notification. I 'm very broke and I can not afford any more debt right now. Please help. Please tell me if they can legally reopen accounts they have listed as closed and have n't notified the debtors ( me and my husband ) in TWO YEARS : (. THANK YOU.

On XX/XX/XXXX I had XXXX at a XXXX XXXX XXXX. One of the bills was for {$6600.00}. XXXX XXXX, my insurance company, paid {$4500.00} of this bill and on XX/XX/XXXX I was billed for the remaining {$2000.00} ( the XXXX XXXX statement attached to this complaint verifies that the insurance company paid {$4500.00} ). On XX/XX/XXXX I made two payments that totaled {$2000.00}. See attached screenshot from the XXXX XXXX website verifying payment. I have also included the EOB from the insurance company backing up the above figures. Last XXXX, XXXX XXXX issued a rebate to XXXX XXXX for some reason ( presumably as part of their standard business relationship, which, according to XXXX XXXX, had nothing to do with my XXXX ). A clerk at XXXX XXXX [ presumably ] mistakenly applied {$530.00} of the rebate to my account, which had been closed since XX/XX/XXXX. So now XXXX XXXX 's ledger showed that I owed {$530.00}. I explained to them why I didn't ; XXXX XXXX explained to them why I didn't ; and then XXXX sent the debt to a collector, Professional Credit Service. They contacted me in XX/XX/XXXX and I responded on XX/XX/XXXX with all the proof that I did not owe the debt, and I asked them to stop contacting me ( as I understood it to be my right ). On XX/XX/XXXX they contacted me again ( illegally? ) to try to collect the debt. I have once again asked them to stop contacting me.

On XXXX @ XXXX XXXX, I contacted Professional Credit Services. I spoke to XXXX and XXXX that day. I communicated that I wished to make payment of {$760.00} which is what all three credit bureaus show I owe even though I believe this debt is not valid. I was told I owe {$3800.00} and they would only agree to a settlement of {$1800.00}. I declined this as a resolution since the amount they claim I owe is different from whats being reported on my credit reports from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I paid cash for my visit to this hospital and believe this is an error in billing but was willing to pay the {$760.00} because the collection is causing me financial harm. On XXXX at XXXX XXXX, I called Professional Credit Services and once again I asked for XXXX and was then directed to a gentleman whom I'm sorry I don't have his name. They had supplied me with the ref their end of XXXX. This was a drawn-out conversation as once again the whole subject was discussed and that's when I was told the {$1800.00} was now incorrect and that there was no way anything would be reduced and I owed {$3800.00}. Now, theyve changed the amount twice each time Ive called and the credit bureaus are still reporting that I owe {$760.00}. Again, I believe this collection is a mistake to begin with but was willing to pay what the credit reports showed I owe because it was causing me financial harm.

The collection agency obtained a judgment against me only for medical bills associated with the birth of my and my ex-husband 's daughter even though I was legally married when she was born and covered under my husband 's medical insurance. I contacted them approximately 1 month ago to explain the circumstances of the bill, that the judgment should be against us both, that according to a court ordered divorce decree dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, my ex-husband is responsible for those medical bills, that I am currently on welfare ( food stamps & OHP ), that he is almost $ XXXX in arrears on child support, that he has no parenting time with the kids, I have no family to assist in the area, and I only work XXXX hours per week supporting the kids completely on my own. Last week, my employer and I received a garnishment for {$2900.00}. The judgment is dated for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and the bills are from on and around XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. They want to take up to XXXX % of my wages for medical bills that are over XXXX years old for my daughter 's birth when I am having difficulty financially supporting them now. I was told that it is perfectly normal to take legal action against only me for the medical bills and that I should hire an attorney. Clearly I can not afford that. Please help! This is completely discriminatory against me as the mother and disabling to my finances.

XXXX XXXX has received funding in the estimated amount of {$1500.00} on my behalf from XXXX a program which covers any/all balances on this utility account.I made several calls to XXXX XXXX to have my initial Deposit of {$180.00} returned to me in a check within XXXX business days after closing the Account back on XXXX XXXX. I was told I will receive this check in the mail which I also updated the new mailing address after waiting the allotted time no check was mailed to my current. I called XXXX XXXX and was told by another representative that they are sorry for the inconvenience and miscommunication but my initial security deposit 0f {$180.00} was applied to the final bill balance and any of the remaining money that was funded in the amount of {$180.00} of my deposit will be refunded back to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I then called the direct agency to verify I gave no balance owed to XXXX XXXX. on my behalf and if that was the correct procedure to have any remaining allowed funding per participant returned back to them I then get an alert on my XXXX Credit Report notifying me that this is a debt that is owed to XXXX XXXX and its been given to PROFESSIONAL CREDIT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, OR XXXX to collect the alleged debt amount of {$320.00} this is unfair inaccurate information reported on my credit report.

I got 3 infractions/citations in XXXX, OR original fine amount {$780.00}. Due certain circumstances I wasn't able to take care of it and then by my personal neglect missed the chance to deal with it within a year as per court statement. go turned over to collections with all the fees new balance of {$1500.00} Per court statement I can only settle with collections agency on monthly payments or pay in full to the court house. Neither one of them refuses to negotiate the debt. one of the reasons I could't take care of it is that I did not have {$800.00} to satisfy it and especially now {$1500.00}. It got turned over to XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX, OR. Collections agency attempted to collect over {$1800.00} plus tried to charge interest rate. Court 's clerk stated that they can not charge any additional fees nor any interest as it is already built in into new owed balance. I need help to renegotiate the debt and at this time i'm willing to settle for original owed balance which is {$780.00}. this whole incident was caused by as what officer thought I crossed intersection on yellow light. It's unbearable punishment. My driver licence is suspended because of it and I can't support my family without it. Where is the fairness in this. and i'm at fault only because I didn't take care of it in timely manner.

I received notice from Professional Credit Services from XX/XX/XXXX. They show that they are charging interest on an old cell phone bill with XXXX XXXX. supposedly I only owed {$36.00} on XX/XX/XXXX but Professional Credit Services has been charging 9 % interest on this account. I never signed a contract regarding interest to be added to my old phone bill. My contract that I signed was with XXXX XXXX. Late fees and other service charges were added to my bill but interest was never discussed. I certainly never signed a contract allowing a collection agency to add interest to my account. In XX/XX/XXXX, I began paying on this old bill. As you can see from Professional Credit Services as well as the printout from my payments through XXXX to Professional Credit Service, I have paid a total of {$200.00}. This is above and beyond the {$36.00} that I owed to XXXX XXXX. I feel that this account has been over paid and they owe me money. I only received notice recently of the interest that they have been charging and how much is going towards the principal. I feel that I do not owe this debt. I believe that the collection agency should not be allowed to charge interest without my knowledge. Collection agencies should not charge interest without a written contract with the debtor. Please refund my money.

I had medical debt that was sold to the debt collector, XXXX XXXX XXXX in Oregon. Original amount was $ XXXX. I was never notified of any intent to sue. In XXXX, I was informed there would be a garnishment of my wages and provided a paper that stated they had received a judgement against me back in XXXX. I was NEVER notified of this intent to sue or the outcome of the judgement. I lived at the same residence from XXXX until XXXX so there is no excuse for this. Additionally, when I called them to ask- they stated they served my Husband on behalf of me- in XX/XX/XXXX. This also did not happen. When pressed further on a specific date and location of when they served him- the call suddenly became dead air and I waited on the line for a while before ultimately disconnecting the call. This judgement was almost double the amount originally owed. Recently I had to pay off the full amount for a loan purpose- and they did not inform my employer that they had collected the full amount until after I had been garnished again and overpaid by almost {$500.00}. I had to call and insist they email my payroll to correct this. During this time I was also informed that they had been charging a 9 % interest rate which ultimately resulted in paying nearly {$1000.00} more than the original judgement.

I was a long time customer of XXXX XXXX. In the spring of 2021 we started experiencing service issues on several of our phones and worked repeatedly with the company to get those issues corrected. There were numerous calls to their tech support line and after many attempts it became clear that they were not going to be able to correct the problems. We cancelled service in XXXX of 2021. They billed us {$380.00} after we closed the account. We disputed this credit card charge through our bank in XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX we recieved a letter from our bank saying we had won the dispute. XXXX XXXX continued to seek payment of that debt. I sent a copy of the letter from the bank to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX asking them stop seeking payment. They still continued to seek payment and threatened to send it to a collection agency repeatedly from XXXX. I got notification from Professional Credit Service that they were seeking payment for a total of {$610.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX sent Professional Credit Service a dispute letter. On XX/XX/XXXX Professional Credit Services sent me an email requesting payment for {$620.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I called them and asked them to drop the debt and they refused. I requested to be transfered to a supervisior and was a told a supervisor would call me.

XXXX XXXX, collecting for XXXX XXXX, never sent me a Dunning Letter for this debt. Further, this debt is not mine. No contract exists and any dental care was not provided to me or with my authorization. My certified mail request for debt validation/verification, upon discovering this erroneous information on my credit report, was returned deliverable to the address provided by this company. Because this notice was not properly served, this is a clear violation of the law governing debt collection. Further, I have not had a chance to request verification/dispute this debt, where I attempted to formerly request a contract with my signature, information on the services provided, and clear demonstration of my financial liability for this debt ( which does not exist ). I also walked into XXXX XXXX and gave them the correct contact information for the individual who owes this debt prior to this assignment of this debt to this debt collector. If this erroneous debt collection is not discontinued immediately, I will file in small claims court for violation of FCRA. Further, I have reason to believe that due to such a blatant error, this dental office does not maintain appropriate HIPPA privacy practices and I will file formal complaint against them as well.

On XX/XX/XXXX, Professional Credit Service / aka XXXX XXXX XXXX.and/or attorney XXXX XXXX garnished 100 % of available funds ( {$2200.00} ) from my personal checking account for collection on a judgement issued in XX/XX/XXXX for medical debt. I was in transition from one job to another, the funds in the account are all directly traceable to EXEMPT income per ORS 16.618. First in line for garnishment is the DOJ, who administers spousal/child support payments through employment garnishment. Because of the job change, only one employer took a portion of that support payment, meaning I was responsible for the balance, in order to remain current on this obligation. PCS took 100 % of available funds from a personal checking account, when a higher level garnishment order is in place. PCS failed to validate the source of the income taken. PCS did not use the legal State calculator to determine amounts available ( percentage of disposable income ) to secure this garnishment. PCS took my saved Child Support and is now directly responsible for my arrears with the DOJ ( and my children ). This is unconscionable, and illegal per several Oregon regulations.

XXXX, I also pulled my annual credit report and found that account numbers and amounts did not match the records they provided me with. When I asked why that was she informed me they would be adding 9 % interest to my bill each month until I could pay it off ... WHICH SEEMS CRIMINAL! Per my bankruptcy attorney, Ray Klein was notified, I double checked schedule E/F and they appear there and the court documents indicate they were served. What course of action can I take as this is holding up my progress of receiving a approval for my home loan?

In XX/XX/2019 I called XXXX XXXX of XXXX to ask if they were in network for my insurance, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX because my physician told me I should go to the emergency room. XXXX said that they were in network which meant they would accept what the insurance paid them and an additional co-pay of either {$35.00} for urgent care or {$100.00} for an ER visit. After I was treated and XXXX collected more tan {$1700.00} from my insurance company I learned that they had lied about being in network and subsequently began billing me {$210.00}. I contacted them and told then that I should only be billed for the {$35.00} copay since I was not admitted to the hospital. ( it is not my fault that their employees do not know what they are doing and are poorly trained and give out wrong information -- or that they instruct their employees to lie so as to make more money. ) They refused and threatened to put me in collections. That threat was obviously not and idle one.

I have been making payments each and every month to PCS since XX/XX/2013 ( 7years ) I have not missed sending them a monthly payment, yet. Recently, they've decided they need to call me and email me asking where my payment is - ( it's already been sent - and the month is not over yet -but they call and email me ) I talked to them on the phone and they talk like i've not been making payments every single month for 7 long years. They act like i'm being difficult and not sending them anything, when i told her I haven't missed a month yet, why are you calling all the time now? She says i need to make a payment ( like i haven't been! ) - it's frustrating. I told the last caller to not call me anymore. So now they sent an email, which i can not reply to. I'm just annoyed. I don't need to be harassed when i'm sending you money each and every single month. I could understand if I haven't been good about making payments to them, but I have!

I have been summoned to small claims court over a debt for a doctor bill. I had been paying on the debt the best I could and it was turned over to a collection agency. The collection agency has sent me XXXX letters and I have received no phone calls. The amount of money that they say that I owe is more than the agreed amount that I had arranged with the doctor. In the XXXX bill they sent me was in XX/XX/XXXX and the doctor bill was inflated by about 300 dollars and there was a hospital bill that did not belong to me from 2004. The next bill I received was just for the doctor bill ( still inflated ) and there was a threatening note above the statement that stated : We have tried to contact several times and you ignored us, so unless you respond we are going to have to file suite . So, I responded. They did not like my response so they served me papers. I had offered to pay the amount that I owe but they would not except that offer.

I was presented with a bill for an unidentified creditor. The Creditor information provided is simply XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX along with 2 truncated original account numbers. The actual utility is not identified, and the truncated account numbers match no accounts I have ever held. Presumably if I contact one of their agents, I will be provided with a creditor name but what is puzzling is that this company is using a phone number which is not associated with my address in XXXX XXXX, CA. To be certain that the accounts are not legitimate, I confirmed with each utility that I had accounts for in XXXX XXXX have final billing settled and accounts are all closed. When I conducted a search on this collection company, others were warning that the company was actively scamming and extorting people with false bills, so I have not contacted them as I do not wish for them collect more information for their fraud.

I am paying monthly automatic payments. i needed to lower the payment amount and did so but they told me it is not enough and threatened to follow through with the law suit if i didnt raise the payment amount in XXXX. I was under the impression that as long as i was paying for it they could not dictate the payment amount or threaten me if i didnt pay the amount they want. It felt terrible and after thinking it over the last couple of months i decided to file the complaint that professional credit made me feel like absolute garbage and that my financial well being is in danger having to pay more to this agency. I did not realize the payment had been declined and stopped so i reached out to them to start payments at a lower rate than i was paying before. the woman i talked to said what i was offering to pay ( which is all i can afford and still feed my kids ) is not enough and i will have to raise it in XXXX

It is for this reason that I am reporting them to you in the form of a complaint. Also to be clear, we have continued to get services at XXXX XXXX and have no problems with our account regarding other doctors.

Medical debt from XXXX XXXX was turned over to XXXX XXXX XXXX. They turn the collection over even if you are making payments. I now make my payments, at 13 % interest, directly to the collection agency. I recently questioned them as to how my payments are credited as they structure the debt by individual invoice. As an example, one invoice may be for {$15.00}, another for {$40.00}, etc. They told me that the payment is split evenly amongst the invoices. Therefore if I have 5 invoices {$5.00} of my {$25.00} payment will be made to each invoice.By my calculations, depending on the balance on each account, the debt will never be paid as that {$5.00} will go to interest and not to principle. I would like to assign the payments to particular invoices so that I can get them paid off. What options do I have as the company insists that that's their policy and I have no other options? Thank you.

I notified the collection agency that my account should have been billed to XXXX. XXXX XXXX finally filed my claim. I owed an outstanding balance, which I quickly paid. However, I refused to pay the late fee. I wrote in my letter that I would make payment in full less the late fee. I wrote that the check enclosed would constitute payment in full. I wrote them back again explaining that the late fee was not my fault, XXXX XXXX failed to file the claim. The collection agency sent the late fee claim to the credit bureau and my credit score has decreased.

Professional Credit Service sent me a bill a year ago with an option to pay online, over text, or via phone call. However, the bill did not include an invoice number so I wasnt able to pay online. My attempts to pay over text went unanswered. When I attempted to call, there was no option to speak with a representative and the robot would not accept the account number I retrieved from the bill. I tried several times to pay, but none of the options provided by the company allowed me to do so. Today, I was able to get my account number to work for the first time over the phone. I now owe ~ {$300.00} in interest because of how late the payment was. However, the only reason it is late is because I was unable to pay due to their website, text, and phone service not working.

I have a debt collector coming after me for a debt that I admit I have, the problem is that the debt collector is saying I owe over double the original amount. The FDCPA ( fair debt collection practices act ) states ; Collectors can add fees or interest ONLY if the amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt. Due to the fact that this is a medical bill the original agreement does not have interest or late fees on this debt therefore against the FDCPA regulations. They should not be able to pursue this larger amount of what I originally owe. It is against the law. I have no problem paying the original amount, but they have added so much interest that it is now close to impossible for me to take care of this amount they say I owe.

I paid a bill for {$100.00} on XX/XX/2019 by credit card to XXXX XXXX XXXX for services rendered by XXXX XXXX XXXX. Account number XXXX. I owed no more on this service rendered. Six months later i have begun to receive letters form a collection agency, Professional Credit Service, for the {$100.00}. I already paid that and called and let them know. Instead of listening to what I had to say, they only wanted to collect more personal information about me for their records, asking for my personal information such as DOB, telephone number, address, etc. I have paid this debt six months ago. They need to remove it from their records and mark it as paid.

The insurance company is responsible for this charge, I was and presently am a Federal employee and medical /dental insurance is extended 31 days after separation from employment. I left my job the same month I visited this dental office, they are aware of the 31 day extension and refuse to bill the correct party for this charge, the dental insurance company. I 've regained my Federal employment status and hold the same insurance. They sent this account to collections in error. They need to bill the insurance company and remove the fraudulent charge off of all my credit reports, they have caused me a tremendous hardship.

I just recently found out that I have a judgement against myself ( From a credit report ) I went to the Court House and asked them. They told me, " Yes you do. I was never notified of any actions that were taken against me by the collection agency.
