Only XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice from the police that Ratchford Law Group was taking legal action against me about a debt. The document refers to a judgement, which I was never made aware of. I never received a court date, nor did I ever receive information stating a judgement was made against me. I have 100 % on time payment history and XXXX judgements or collection attempts as of XX/XX/XXXX, as listed on XXXX, and I monitor my credit routinely.
On the same day that I received the notice from the court, I also received a letter from Ratchford Law Group which listed false information about me. They claim that I made a payment to them on XX/XX/XXXX, which never happened. I have no idea who Ratchford Law Group is, nor would I give some random law firm money without hearing from a judge. In this letter they did not provide any information about this alleged payment, which in my eyes was either completely forged to attempt to misrepresent me to the court, or to try to intimidate/confuse me. It is completely illegal to try to fabricate information about somebody's finances and their actions are violating section XXXX XXXX and XXXX of the Fair Debt Collection practices act.
My credit report will also list that around the time of the alleged payment I made to this law firm, I had just got a car financed an opened a new credit card, because I was moving to a new residence and was literally rolling quarters together to get first and last months rent for my new landlord, so it makes no sense that I would send money to some random law group claiming there was some wrongdoing on my part while I had just reached a credit score over XXXX. It makes no sense how they claim they " offered me a payment plan '' and that I recently sent them money in the same letter.
I am filing this complaint and notifying the court that I have made the CFPM aware of illegal actions being taken by Ratchford Law Group to try to get judgements from the court.

On XX/XX/2019 I began noticing fraudulent activity on my XXXX XXXX account ending in XXXX. The fraudulent activity was from XXXX XXXX ending in XXXX, that had been added to my account without my authorization or consent. I called and tried to resolve the issue but they would not take the fraudulent purchases off my account.
Recently, I received a court summons by a debt collection agency called " Ratchford Law Group, '' for the fraudulent debt that was caused by identity theft.

I had a very old debt from 2013 that was bought from XXXX debt collector to another.
The second debt collector has threatened to sue me even though I have never made a payment to them. The debt is over the statute of limitations and not required to be paid after 3 years in NH and 4 years in MA
