I work as an admin assistant for a small church, and they decided the switch from XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX at first tried really hard to keep us ; having several sales people offer discounts and such but when they realized we were not going to change our mind, their tone changed rather quickly and we were told that we were still under contract ; owing them several thousand dollars but get this, it would still take a few months to cancel the service! So we would have to pay our monthly bill for services that they were not providing AND pay this ridiculous amount for early termination and whatever other fees! This really did not make any sense, and calls were made to XXXX to get clarity on the matter. Their customer service and sales people however, give you different information, so you ca n't really trust that what person A is saying is really true because person B will tell you the opposite. Even though I was not the main contact for this process, as the admin, I receive all the mail and answer the phone so therefore I was able to see how fast this issue became an unnecessary problem. After receiving a few notices from XXXX in the mail, soon started the phone calls from collections. And how they called, over, and over, and over again. Even after I explained that they were calling a CHURCH, and that it was n't me personally that could solve the issue, they kept calling. I blocked at least XXXX different numbers : XXXX and XXXX. All while this is happening, we actually did have a representative from our church who was in communication with someone at XXXX trying to resolve the issue. Fast forward ; we got a pretty serious sounding letter from a debt collector that I gave to our guy, the first letter from a company other than XXXX. Since this letter our account has been almost completely resolved, but then we get another letter, from " Sage Capital Recovery '' to be specific, and this letter is completely unacceptable ; using degrading, belittling and threatening language and false information. I just can not accept that Sage Capital Recovery is using this kind of communication to bully people into paying debts that may or may not be accurate, as well as disregarding any attempts made by the customer to resolve the matter in the first place. The letter is written in a tone that is automatically accusing the addressee of neglectful handling of the matter and takes the assumption that they will continue in the same way. And then they write : " we have completed our due diligence and fully documented our efforts to cooperate with you '' ... .Really? You made copies of the XXXX letters you sent us? Wow, good for you. They did not even address our letter with our Church 's name - just our address saying " accounts payable ''. I have worked in debt collections before, and it absolutely kills me that companies like Sage Capital Recovery treat people who owe money like second class citizens. I understand that we all have a job to do, but there is such a thing as ethical and fair business practices. Recording how many letters you spit out on a daily basis does not mean you have done your " due diligence ''. Harassing people with automatic phone calls does not mean you have made " all efforts to reach a cooperative resolution ''. It just means that you make your money off of the back of broken people.

I received a letter from Sage capitol recovery concerning a debt of {$3700.00} with XXXX. They asked that I review this information and respond in writing within 30 days if I did not recognize this debt. Having never done business with XXXX I responded in writing explaining that I was not the person that they were looking for, as well as that I never made any purchases with XXXX and that they had the wrong person. I had never received any calls until after they received my letter which was mailed to Sage capitol recovery on XX/XX/19 ( their letter was dated XX/XX/19 ). Now once or twice a week I get a robocall from Sage capitol recovery asking me to call XXXX XXXX at XXXX. I have had the exact computer voice message at least 5 times over a span of 2-3 weeks. I did return the call twice only to be automatically transferred to a voicemail which stated this voicemail box is full. Please call back at another time. There does not seem to be anyone working at this place as I have only received robocalls and cant get a human to answer any call. This is not my debt, I dont know how to have them stop robocalling me. As I stated clearly in my written response, they have the wrong person.

Hello, I requested validation of an alleged debt from Sage Capital Recovery around XX/XX/2021. I then responded back immediately, via certified mail requesting validation.
This request was not honored. I have not received validation after 2 attempts which span over 1.5 months. This is against the law.
In addition, the collection letter does Not bare my name which i informed them of yet they still attempt to collect...
Furthermore, I this correspondence stated that Sage Capital Recovery now owns this alleged debt ( Once held by XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and that they will now be solely responsible for perusing it. However, XXXX XXXX XXXX continues to correspond with me illegally.
They are adversely affecting my credit rating with this invalidated, alleged account. I informed them that they must stop reporting this account to my credit reporting bureaus while this account is in the validation stage Yet they continue to report it unlawfully.
I wont this alleged deb/invalidated account off of my credit reports immediately.

On the XXXX of XXXX I received a notice in the mail that I owe {$320.00} for a debt for an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/.
I have no account with XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I never carry debt. I do not support usury.
The letter was sent by a company called Sage Capital Recovery. They gave me a Sage reference number of : XXXX Knowing that the letter was phishing for information to get into my bank account, I filed it away.
Today a woman called and behaved roughly on the call, and hung up when I mentioned fraud.
The company lists an address of Sage Capital Recovery XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ XXXX XXXX The number the offensive woman called from is XXXX I recently unfroze my XXXX account briefly to allow a merchant to check my credit for a credit card -- I never carrry a balance forward on credit cards even -- so it is possible that there was a security breech at that time.
Please prevent Sage Capital from perpetrating further chicanery against me or others.

XXXX from Sage Capital called about a {$150.00} debt from XXXX XXXX for my youngest child from a while ago. XXXX had all of our birthdates and our address. I have paid all our bills from XXXX as they came and we had nothing in collections with them. I notified them of this. XXXX did not provide the date of service or any information about what the bill was for. I also notified them that I hadnt received any bills or written communication from them or XXXX. And I informed them that I would be calling XXXX to deal with any billing directly. XXXX left me a call back number of XXXX. I have since called XXXX and they checked under every single family member and we do not owe them anything and have a XXXX balance.

XXXX XXXX indicates he has a file on his desk about me, has left messages threatened to file adverse action against me. I have no knowledge or received documentation regarding " the file '' XXXX XXXX represents Sage Capital Recovery XXXX Ext XXXX He contacted me several times this week at work.
Today XX/XX/19 I called him back, asked him to refrain from calling or leaving messages at my work place. I stated my name and repeated twice to stop calling my workplace.

I recently got my credit report because I notice that my credit score had dropped and I was wondering what was the cause. I noticed a collection that I wasn't familiar with.
A couple of days later I got a call from this company. They place this collection on my credit before they even had a conversation with me to even see if this was my debt.
A few days after that I got a letter in the mail. This is insane.

XXXX collection agencies ( each saying they represent XXXX ) contacted me on the same date regarding the exact same account. XXXX by phone, the other by letter. Does the FDCP Act allow that? How am I supposed to know who to deal with? I dispute the charges to begin with. Is it my burden to dispute the matter with XXXX collection agencies? What if I settle with XXXX and the other keeps hounding me?

First off, I don't owe a balance with XXXX ... I've been harassed by fXXXXr for months now after telling them to cease communication! They violated fair debt collection practices! Then sage capital recovery has called and threatened me with jail time if I didn't pay. The guy, told me I need to learn how to pay my bills! This is harassment and is against federal law!
