OnXX/XX/XXXX called them at about around XXXX XXXX. They told me I owed XXXX when I owe XXXX every time Ive called them previously they dont identify who they are. On one case I called them and I said the wrong name and they said I had the wrong number! Didnt even say they were a collection agency! When I called Them on XX/XX/XXXX I was talking to the lady and when I asked if I could settle she told me no, I asked where It goes if I dont pay it and she told me they would take legal actions. I was just asking her because I didnt know if it went to another collection agency. She kept saying okay man. She didnt have the correct info. I understand I wasnt professional, but On there website it says they maintain the highest level of professionalism. Which they do not! I told her I could make payments on the bill but only XXXX and she said that when XXXX rolls around they have to increase it. She also kept saying you wouldnt go into the grocery store and not pay. At no Point did I act like I wasnt gon na pay it.

On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I had contacted Professional Choice Recovery and asked to pay my collections debt off in full. At that time I was given the balance. I then gave permission to withdraw the entire balance from my checking account. Since I called on a Friday afternoon, PCR stated they would pull it the next business day. I then confirmed that no other payments would be required and my account would in fact be paid in full. PCR confirmed. On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I had two amounts withdrawn from my account. I was then under the impression my account was in fact paid in full. On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I received a call from PCR stating there had been a clerical error and that I still owed another {$230.00} and asked how I would like to pay that. They stated that they ran the payment for {$230.00} less than what they should have and I needed to pay on behalf of their error even though it was confirmed by PCR that my account was paid in full after my XXXX final payment.

PCR kept calling me in regards to {$470.00} I owe to Nebraska XXXX University. I had finally answered one of the calls and told them to stop contacting me, as this was around the time the coronavirus pandemic began and I was losing hours at work. I also read that via the CARES Act, debt collectors for student loans are not supposed to contact you. Then they start calling my work and asking if Im there, and then hang up on whoever answers the phone. How very professional. They sent me a letter on XX/XX/XXXX and added on {$210.00} from XXXX ... never been informed of this debt and so Im going to dispute it. They had the audacity in the letter to write we know you are employed, so you should be able to handle this situation. Extremely rude and insensitive. Everyone is struggling right now during the pandemic and I have bills that take priority over some fishy debt collector business.

Around XXXX on XX/XX/20 a person named XXXX from Professional Choice recovery called my work phone asking another employee to speak to me even after last time they called I told them not to call my work that it isn't OK. I requested the bill from the client they where representing and have never received a bill from XXXX XXXX in nebraska, just the bill from them saying if I don't pay immediately they will report it to my credit score. The most recent call though I was informed my insurance paid XXXX XXXX and they where now collecting on the rest of the debt ; However, usually after the medical provider gets paid I should get a bill from the medical provider saying how much I owe them, instead Professional Choice recover is threatening me to send my account to management and that they will report this debt on my credit score.

I received a letter dated XX/XX/2022 from Professional Choice Recovery, INC ( PCRI ) seeking to collect an alleged debt on behalf of a local university. I sent a letter dated XX/XX/2022 via certified mail received XX/XX/2022 to dispute the debt, request debt validation, and to stop all other communications with me and this address. To date, they have not sent debt validation in accordance with the FDCPA. I received another letter from PCRI dated XX/XX/2022 seeking to collect the same debt on behalf of the same creditor under the same account number. PCRI has violated my rights under the FDCPA to have the debt validated before continuing its collection efforts. I have included all copies of correspondence.

Letter dated XX/XX/2020 from Professional Choice Recovery , Inc says, in part, " You have not responded to our previous request for payment in full. It appears you are failing to cooperate '' Towards the middle of the letter states " This is a communication from a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose '' There is no language, wording, or indication that I can dispute the validity of the debt anywhere in this letter. The failing to cooperate sounds as if I have a legal obligation to cooperate with this debt collection agency which is shady since they are failing to cooperate with the laws around debt collecting.

I was currently paying off a XXXX XXXX XXXX account for a little over 1000.00 I made my first payment and noticed my balance was going down however when I made a second pament I noticed that my balance was no longer going down in fact it was going up when I called and asked about why my balance was not going down the lady on the other end told me they just received an old hospital payment from XXXX XXXX hospital and they added to my XXXX XXXX XXXX payment arrangement I thought to myself this is not right if I never would have had all my recites I wouldn't have know they tacked on an extra 300 dollars this is misrepresentation of a balance due.

On XX/XX/XXXX a letter was received at an address that belongs to my mother, and one that I have never been associated with. The document included amounts paid and owed in a judgment against me. I have never lived at the address that they sent the information to. I had previously received communications at my personal home address so there should have been no confusion as to what the proper address for me is. The letter received was sent from a law firm that Professional Choice Recovery had hired. The law firm stated that the address they used was provided by Professional Choice Recovery even though it was incorrect.

In XX/XX/2022 I requested a final statement from the billing department. I received a final statement. After having an issue with the amount billed I was contacted by a debt collection company. The best collector stated that I owed much more than final statement. Later the debt collector filed a lawsuit and claims to being owed the much higher amount. Over the last 6 months the collection company has done everything within their power to get a default or summary judgement. I am not disputing the original amount only the amount brought before court.

On XX/XX/2023, I was contracted at my work phone by a woman who identified herself as XXXX from Professional Choice Recovery ( XXXX ), regarding a debt I owe of about {$400.00}. I told XXXX that I would like to be sent a validation of the debt, and to call my personal cell phone - NOT my work number. She hung up on me. Today, on XX/XX/2023, I have still not received a validation of the debt and continue to be contacted on my work line by XXXX.

A doctor used undercoding in order to charge me for services I didnt even need. This is unethical. The debt went into collections. I got a letter from Professional Choice Recovery Inc XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I sent {$40.00} to the billing part of the physicians office already. There was never any need for any of this treatment since the debt was unethical anyway.

My boyfriend received a court summons for my debt from the collection agency. The medical office to which I went was for me only and the insurance and guarantor information was for me. He was listed as an emergency contact. They are suing both of us and we both received summons separately for my debt that is owed.

Company has called at all times of the morning and night i have requested them to stop calling they then resorted to calling my work phone which was absolutely unacceptable i also told them not to call back and they have continued

Professional Choice Recovery refused to identify their company after repeated specific requests to do so. They would only identify after threats of reporting to local law enforcement and state 's attorney.
