Hi there, In XXXX I took a student loan to finance my XXXX. In XXXX after I graduated I started looking for options to refinance as a lot of people do. I managed to get a great offer from Prodigy Finance. Back in the days I did not have many options as I was an international student on a work visa. They gave me a great rate, advertised as all the rest of the student loan refinance companies, refinanced my US student loan. 3 years later, today, I am trying to refinance my loan again in the US. I am still working and living here. What I am coming to find out is that no US institution ( as least the 6 different ones that I talked to that refinance student loans- XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) will refinance that student loan as Prodigy Finance is based in XXXX. I am stuck with a huge loan ( {$130000.00} ), high interest rate ( 5.62 % ), a lifetime change event ( had a baby ) that requires me to have more disposable income. All because Prodigy Finance did not disclose/advise this kind of information that because they are XXXX based one can not refinance the loan back in the US. A reasonable 30 year something person won't even know that this is a thing and that you need to ask this questions. They are a company that are refinancing US student loans for people living in the US. It is reasonable to assume that you should be able later to refinance your loan in US. I consider this to be highly misleading and fraudulent. They don't refinance their own loans, they don't want to renegotiate the terms and extend the term. I consider myself quite educated and financially verse. But a normal person won't ever assume that they won't be able to refinance their loan in the US if this is not explicitly stipulated somewhere in the contract or advertisement. I don't know if you can help me with anything with that and figure out my situation. But PLEASE make something about this company to proactively disclose this information to it's potential borrowers as people are STUCK with them and there is nothing you can do but pay the loan until you pay it off. Thank you!

Prodigy reported 2 missing payments each to XXXX for two loan accounts when I have been in continuous ( sequential ) forbearance arrangements. Here are the details of the Forbearance arrangements : XXXX. First XXXX extension request - first repayment date will be XXXX XX/XX/2022 as per Prodigy. XXXX. On XX/XX/2022, I applied for Forbearance ( request XXXX ). The request got approved and I wont have to make a payment between XXXX XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/2022. XXXX. I got a further extension on my forbearance which stated that I do not need to make any payments between XXXX XX/XX/2022 and XXXX XX/XX/2022. XXXX. Lastly, I again applied for an extension which stated that I wont need to make a payment between XXXX XX/XX/2022 and XXXX XX/XX/2022. I have been corresponding with Prodigy since XXXX regarding the late payment issue reported to XXXX, which is incorrect. Prodigy agreed over email that they reported erroneously and they have been giving me multiple dates by when the error would be rectified by prodigy, and my XXXX Report would be updated with " no missing payments. '' It has been close to 5-6 months and my XXXX report has not been updated.
