DEAR REPRESENTATIVES, I am reporting a deception of 2 prepaid card banks that in the debit card contract do not show details of Limitations or restrictions that they have.
After opening the account with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( Member FDIC ) pursuant to a license from XXXX XXXX XXXX " XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' and " XXXX '' are registered trademarks of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX.
This card in the prepaid card contract and the consumer details the countries restricted for them and the services that are limited in certain countries. Neither in the debit card contract nor in the privacy policy do they state the countries with restriction of services or use.
This caused me to lose time in my travel planning to the specific country that I wanted to travel to because I was going to use this debit card. I thought I could use this card in another country at the ATM to withdraw funds, after I have the card and review the contract and the privacy policies and everything they show on the website, I call customer service to perform the Travel alert and I find that they inform me that in the country where I am going they do not have access to ATM cash withdrawals, in this case the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. This detail is not written in the privacy policies or in the contract. Also there is not a single detail that says that there are limitations in different countries.
Please I want to report this prepaid debit card bank because they are misleading customers and omitting information.
