I received a call at work on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at approximately XXXX CST. The call was from a company called Premier Portfolio Group claiming that I owed a debt from XX/XX/XXXX. First, I did not recall the debt and was shocked to find out that I owed money to this company because I check my credit monthly. XXXX XXXX was the representative I spoke to initially. I started asking questions trying to validate that it was an actual company and not fraudulent. XXXX transferred me to XXXX. XXXX asked me how I could help her. I stated, I just need your business address to verify you are a legitimate company. XXXX stated it is not her company 's job to verify they are legitimate and I was to respond to the debt. I explained to her I do not recall the debt and if she could send me something that I could look at. She explained letters have already been sent and that I should have responded to them. I stated I did not recall receiving any letters from her company. She took down my email address and said she could send something now to my email address. I have not received paperwork at my email address. I asked her is n't she required to send written documentation after she has had contact with me. She said no and that if I do not response I will be taken to court and sued. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE DEBT IS??? She asked me if I am disputing or validating the debt. I explained to her I am doing nothing because I do not know what exactly the debt is and again asked for some kind of written documentation to be mailed to me. She said no, it has already been sent. She again asked if I was disputing the debt. I told her to do what she has to do, I am not disputing or acknowledging the debt, but will figure out what it is once I get the email. She said unfortunately, once she hangs up the phone it is final and can not be reverted. Huh?? I asked her to NEVER call me at work and gave her an alternative method to contact me via cellphone. Note : The company also stated they are collecting the debt plus XXXX for court fees. I have not went to court??? or been served! All I need is the company to provide details on the debt so I can figure out what is going on and make arrangements accordingly if it is legitimate. I do not appreciate being threatened with court if I do not respond the exact minute they call when I have no idea what the debt is. Please address this with the company, and I would still like to see what the documentation or debt is.

I received and automated call from XXXX ( Premier Portfolio Group ) notifying me that if I did not call XXXX by the end of the business day, legal action would be taken against me. I called the number and spoke with XXXX XXXX. She stated that her client wanted to give me a chance to pay on a past due payday loan from XXXX before paperwork would be filed in XXXX XXXX County and I would be charged with Intent to Fraud and Malicious Intent due to the fact that the checking account I supposedly took this loan against was closed. I asked for verification of the debt and she could n't provide me with anything. She then stated that if payment arrangements were not made by the time we ended our call, she would notify her " client '' that I refused to pay and legal action will begin. She informed me that the amount owed was {$620.00} and if I did n't pay, there would be another {$1000.00} in attorney 's fees that I would be responsible for. She said I needed to pay by XXXX XXXX. I informed her I could n't pay anything until XXXX XXXX. She then offered a settlement amount of {$430.00} if I paid immediately. I again told her I could n't pay anything until XXXX XXXX. She then asked if I could pay anything on XXXX XXXX. I told her I could possibly make that work. She then transferred me to what she called a " secure line '' and took my debit card information. I later received and email with the payment arrangements listed on them and began to do more research. First off, the debt was from 2011 and the statute of limitations in California to collect a debt is 4 years. Also, the date noted on the payment arrangement notice listed that the date was taken out on XXXX/XXXX/2011. At that time, I was out of work on XXXX and due to that fact, would not even qualify for a payday loan. I did not return to work until XXXX 2011.

I receive, at minimum, 2 to 3 calls from this company on a DAILY basis. This has been on-going since 2015. The calls always come from a different number each time, but they leave a pre-recorded message on my voicemail. The voicemail always states that I need to call them back immediately to discuss a " bad check '' that was " passed through their office ''. The only checks I write are to my rental office for my rent each month and to my child 's school for various field trips and events. NONE of these checks have ever been returned. I have tried to call back the number that shows on my caller ID, only to get a busy signal or a " the party you are trying to reach is unavailable '' message. I have also tried to call the XXXX # they leave on the voicemails and have been rewarded with a very stressful conversation from an " agent '' who keeps asking for personal information ( ssn, phone number, address, etc. ) and refusing to give me any information pertaining to the " debt '' I supposedly owe. They have also threatened, multiple times, to serve me with legal papers at my residence. Several times they have stated that they have already attempted to serve me with papers, having strange people call me claiming to be " process servers ''. Each time I have spoken to one of these " process servers '' they have verified my address. I have stayed home on those days only to have no one show up. Never once have I received any type of mail correspondence at my residence from this company and I have lived there for over 5 years. I have requested numerous times that they stop calling me, only to be met with a " we have the right to call you if you owe us money '' type of reasoning. 1 or 2 times a week would be acceptable, but they call DAILY. I consider this harrassment.

I have received several calls from Premier Portfolio Group. They would not leave a message - just continually calling. On Thursday, XX/XX/18, I received a call from them and they left the following message, " Hello, we are giving you a call regarding a bad check that was placed with our office attached to your name and account number. We need you to contact us immediately to rectify this time sensitive matter. Our office number is XXXX. '' When I was finally able to contact them. I informed them that I have not written a check in about 5 years and am current on all of my bills so they needed to quit harassing me. The person on the other line began to talk all over me and told me that they were not harassing me. She then asked me if I knew someone - she gave me a name - someone whose last name was also XXXX. I called back and the second time got a man. I told him the same thing and again, he talked all over me and would not listen and he too asked to talk to someone ( not me ) whose last name was also XXXX. I hung up and called a third time. The female on the other end this time did seem to be listening. I told her that I had searched the company name and saw many complaints where they said the same thing, that they had received a bad check. I am on the " National Do Not Call List. '' They just kept asking me for someone - it was not my husband 's name and it was not my son 's name ( my son has a different last name than I ). The female told me that they would not call me again but that yet remains to be seen and their tactics are outrageous. I think they were harassing me simply because I had the same last name as someone that they were trying to collect from.

I received a call from XXXX XXXX from Premier Portfolio and she stated to me that I owe a payday loan which I opened back XX/XX/XXXX. However, I never applied for a payday loan from this company and I was enrolled with Payday consoldation company which everything was paid off. When I asked her for a letter showing me what I owe, she gave me a hard way to go. I then asked her to email me this information to my email address which I provided to her. I asked her will it be within the hour. I also informed her that I have also contacted my attorney and the attorney general 's office. She asked me for the last XXXX digits of my social security number which I did not provide for her. She stated to me that information was sent to my home and it is showing that I received it back on XX/XX/XXXX. I then asked her for the company name and she then told me that they would not have my information because this company forward to this company. I told her that within Maryland law, if any consumer owes a debt, then a disclaimer is read before a conversation. I told her that I believe that this is a scam and I am contacting my attorney with this information. She told me that she wanted my attorney 's phone number and I asked her if you are willing to provide this information to my attorney then why would you deny me the right to have this information in front of me. I told her that I would like to have this in my email. I still have not received this information through my email. I want to file a compliant and ask that this company not call me anymore.

Premier Portfolio Group contacted me stating that they held a payday loan debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX, a company I have never done business with. The representative, XXXX, stated that this was their last courtesy call and that I would face legal action for defrauding the company and would be sued. I asked for confirmation of the debt and was sent a letter via email. I told her that I would contact my attorney and have him call her. Instead, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and confirmed that I had never had dealings with them to rule out something fraudulent being done in my name. The representative from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, advised that I have no record with them and that this was a fraudulent request. XXXX also stated that XXXX XXXX XXXX does not sue anyone for debts that have been defaulted even if i had something with them. She asked that I report it as well. I contacted Premier Portfolio Group and advised them that I did not owe the debt and would not be paying. The " manager '' that answered stated that she would pursue the account with XXXX County and would note that I had refused to pay. She stated that my case was now closed and they would pursue action. The call I received yesterday was from a XXXX number and today was from XXXX XXXX. The letter they sent stated XXXX.

I received a voicemail from ( XXXX ) XXXX, which was from an individual named XXXX from Premier Portfolio on XXXX/XXXX/15. I returned his call on XXXX/XXXX/15, and spoke to an individual named XXXX who indicated I had committed a fraudulent crime by not paying a debt. I attempted to ask for a validation of debt while explaining my current situation, and inability to pay. She would not listen, spoke over me, argued with me, threated to prosecute me to the " fullest extent '' and hung up on me. I tried to call back and speak to XXXX, the initial person that contacted me, and individual named XXXX answered. XXXX transferred me back to XXXX, and she asked me to stop calling because no one wanted to help '' me in their office. I attempted to request information to determine if this debt is legitamate, if it ineed is -I am not trying to run or avoid it, and would like to take care of it but was told to cease calling their office ...

i have now received 2 calls from a " XXXX XXXX '' ( sp ) from a number I 've determined to be " Premier Portfolio Group '' who says they have " documentation '' in their office " pertaining to my name and social security number ''. They ask me to call back on a totally different number of XXXX. There are numerous reports of Premier Portfolio Group claiming to have payday loan debts and threatening action - I have called the only place I have ever had a payday loan and confirmed i have nothing outstanding and the last loan i 'd ever had was closed in good order in 2012 and confirmed there have not been any checks presented in my name. I have no outstanding bad debts or negative reports on my credit. They have also called a close friend of mine repeating the same information that they " have documentation in their office '' and i have no idea how they would ever have his number or why they 'd call someone else.

I keep receiving phone calls at work from an organization called Premier Portfolio Group. The person calling is XXXX XXXX. When I first spoke to him I informed him not to call me at work. XXXX calls back the same day and says '' I KNOW YOU TOLD ME NOT TO CALL YOU AT WORK BUT '' I then hung up on him. He continues to call daily and when both of my co-workers answered on separate occasions, he calls them a liar because they tell him they are not me and he tells them they are me and gets short with them. This company has gone too far. Numbers that they use : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, & XXXX. I have asked them to mail me a letter that states the information and debt they are collecting on. They refuse to send anything. I want my credit card info, my payroll department number. I am severely being harassed. I am ready to notify the FBI to investigate this company. They are causing me stress and making me look bad at work.

About 3 times a week for the past several weeks I have been receiving calls from different numbers that all claim to be Premier Portfolio Group. I never answer the call and the voice message is always the same pre-recorded message saying that I need to call them back regarding a bad check that was cashed in my name. It is an obvious scam as none of my financial records indicate any such transaction. I called XXXX the numbers and spoke to a female. I demanded that they remove from phone number from their list and not to call me ever again. Not 30 minutes later I received a call ( always from a different number with a different area code ) and the message left was the exact same one I 've been receiving this entire time from " Premier Portfolio Group. ''

Premier Portfolio group continues to call and leave me messages from different numbers. I have just received another call today. I have received no documentation from them that I requested to be mailed to my home. They attached a document on another complaint that shows my debt is from XX/XX/XXXX. I have a chapter XXXX bankruptcy that was discharged XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. this debt was included. They should not be able to keep calling and harassing people that have had a bankruptcy discharge 4 years ago. Please have the debt collection stop as bankruptcy should stop those calls. And the company has still not sent any valid paperwork to my home as they stated. and this has been over a month. Now they call and leave another threatening message on my voicemail.

They call my cell phone, my house phone, and my wife 's cell phone repeatedly about XXXX times per day. They are calling about a supposed bad check that I wrote to a payday loan agency that I 've never been too, and I 've checked with my bank and there was no bad checks written. I called them and spoke with the representative that is handling my supposed account, and asked him to stop calling me and my wife. The phone calls continue, and I need them to stop harrassing me and my wife for this apparent debt that I do not owe. He also told me that a judge is going to sign off on the debt and will garnish my wages at XXXX %. I work for a payday loan agency and I know this is false. I need them to stop calling and harrassing me and my wife.

They constantly call saying I they are attempting to collect a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX from 2011. They say I applied online and received the money into my checking account at XXXX. I have NEVER had an account at XXXX and I have NEVER applied for an online loan or received one. I have never received any letter or legal items and I ask them for a verification of debt they say they send it and I have NEVER received anything from them. They say I have 24hrs to return the call and pay before legal action is taken but I cant even get a proof of debt. AND ... They are very rude and constantly try to use threatening tactics to get my money but I know the laws, I know my rights and they are not getting a XXXX thing from me! They are SCAMMERS!

Constant phone calls and messages left by Premier Portfolio group to my phone, my wife 's phone and my XXXX young sons. They claim I have an unpaid debt from a payday loan or some nonsense. They threaten to call my employer, take legal action, etc .... I 've asked they stop many times. Today I received a call from a young lady named XXXX. Phone number called from XXXX. Callback number was XXXX. I called back because I need these calls to stop and XXXX hung up on me when I said I would report them to the FTC. I called back and said it was unprofessional to hang up on me and asked if the calls would stop. She said that she was n't going to argue with me and she would mark my file. I asked for her full name and she hung up on me again.

Previously had filed a complaint through the CFPB ( case # XXXX XXXX. Premier Portfolio Group had finally after the deadline came back with this response : We dispute the claims presented in this complaint as our company does not practice beyond the guidelines of the FDCPA. Our company will close this account, and cease and desist all further communication with the consumer. Today XX/XX/18 received another voicemail from them threatening legal action. This is ridiculous. What is it going to take to get this company to stop what is obviously a scam. I believe I have enough now to take this case to the attorney general either in the state they are located or my own state 's attorney general. These people need to be stopped!

This company keeps calling and threatening that I will be sued or arrested if I do not contact them within 24 hours. They will not validate any debt and when you question anything they hang up on you. If this is a valid debt they need to validate it. If it is not a valid debt they need to stop calling. Also they need to stop using threat tactics to try to collect a debt. They say their name is Premier Portfolio and they call from many different numbers from different states. They have told me that they can not provide with the name of who the original debit is owed to. This is information that by law I need to be provided. This company needs to stop calling people.

Premier Portfolio Group has left several voice mails indictating that they have mailed documents to me ( nothing has ever been received ) and that I have a " pending complaint '' in their office. They have stated on my voice mail that they will garnish my wages if I do not call them back to make arrangements. At other times, they have stated that they have a bad check I attempted to pass along with my name, social security number, and routing number. I believe this is in reference to a payday loan that I paid back in full and then closed the checking account directly after the final payment as the collection practices of the original company were illegal.

I have recieved five calls from a company representing themselves as Premier Portfolio Group asking for my husband. When I stated that was not his number they proceeded to tell me he bounced a check, they have his social, and they are with an attorney who is filing a law suit at the end of the day today ( however they 've said this for several days in a row now ). When I asked them to stop calling and informed them that it was illegal for them to leave these messages they curse at me and then hang up. My husband and I have a joint account and there are no outstanding bad checks on that account, so this can not be a legitimate debt.

On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a complaint with the CFPB against PREMIER PORTFOLIO GROUP ( complaint number XXXX ) and the company responded on XX/XX/XXXX indicating " Our company will close this account, and cease and desist all further communication with the consumer. '' I received a call yesterday XX/XX/XXXX claiming, once again, that " a bad check was placed with their office attached to my name and account number '' telling me to call XXXX which corresponds to PREMIER PORTFOLIO GROUP. Clearly they did not cease and desist communication OR close my account and i'm being hassled by them again.

I continue to get a phone call from an agency claiming to be Premier Portfolio. They call my cell phone from numbers all over the united states, so I have not been able to successfully block them. I do not know this company, and do not have any outstanding debts in collections. They claim that it is for a check cashed in my name with my ssn and routing number, which does n't make any sense why they would have my SSN. I 've looked it up, and they are apparently scamming other individuals as well. I want to report them as well as get them to stop calling me.

XXXX XXXX has been calling off and on for well over a XXXX threatening legal action on some debt or bad check. I have attempted to have them mail me something verifying the information and have received nothing. They have called my home phone, cell phone, wife 's cell phone, my mother. My credit report is clean and there are no outstanding debts. I have not had a person checking account for several XXXX. I 've tried the do not call registry but they continue to harass. Everything XXXX read regarding them is that most cases are fraudulent.

This company, Premier Portfolio Group, has been calling my cell phone and now my work phone for months! They leave a recording saying that I passed a bad check with my name and SSN on it. That absolutely did not happen, I have nearly perfect credit and pay all my bills through my bank so this makes no sense. I have already reported them to the FTC and to my work, both advised me to ignore it but it 's driving me insane! They are obviously scammers and need to be shut down. The internet is full of similar reports about this company.

On XXXX XXXX, 2014, I received a PayDay loan from XXXX XXXX. I was unable to pay the loan off, since I have n't been working, due to a car accident. The loan was sold to premier Portfolio Group, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX, XXXX, www.premierportfoliogroup.com. They have called all my references and provided them with details of the loan and they have threatened me with a law suit and the amount i will owe with court costs and attorney fees. I want them to stop contacting all my references and stop threatening me.

I have been receiving calls at my office from Premier Portfolio group. They want me to make payments, but have not stated for what. They called my work number I told them I can not receive personal calls at work since I am in a dispatch office and the phone is used for business only. They have called every day for 4 days straight even after they were informed that I can not take this call at work. As a matter of fact the young lady that worked for them said they were going to just keep calling.

Company called Premier Portfolio Group continues to call me at my work after I informed them not to. I also informed them that another collection agency had taken money from me on the same account they are trying to collect on. I immediately found out there was a scam by searching phone number they left on message. Received multiple phone calls from people identifying themselves as from a " portfolio group '' and that I had passed a bad check with my SSN on it. I have n't had checks or written a check in over 8 years. Other information online reports similar ridiculous claims and harassment. They call multiple times a day from different cities and states. Continued harassment will result in legal action.

I have received several calls from this group in the past until I filled complaints. They did stop for some time, but they are back at it again now. I am getting a voice mail saying that they have a bad check with my name on it and I need to contact them immediately. This is not possible. The name of the company that is calling is Premier Portfolio Group and the call back number is XXXX.

Premier Portfolio Group XXXX Every time I asked for information she would get loud and hang up on me. Then started threatening me with legal action because I would call back. They are saying they are collecting a debt for a payday loan. When I ask for a validation of the debt they say they have sent it, but I have not recieved nything from them. Also I have told them it was included in my bankruptcy in 2013 and I have told them to contact my lawyer and to quite calling me. They calling me several times a day.

this company, Portfolio Group, at XXXX calls me repeatedly with different numbers claiming I owe a debt for a bad check from 2010. I have asked for them to provide proof of debt via US mail and they respond that they will be sending a process server to my workplace and will notify my boss and serve me and sue me.

An agency going by the name premier portfolio group keeps calling me and several people I know from several numbers all over the country saying I have XXXX hours to respond, that I 've committed fraud and the likes. They never say who the original debt is from, and I am yet to be served with any papers

XXXX calls my telephone number about once a month and has for three years to ask or leave a message for a debt that I do not owe. In fact, they company asks for a person who is not me. They have indicated that they will remove my name from the database, but they have not.
