On XX/XX/XXXX, my automatic mortgage payment for XXXX did not go through to my mortgage lender, even though the payment was set-up on autopay in the mortgage companys portal ; the payment did not come out of the bank, but was rejected. There were no warnings from lender to me directly that it was didnt go through ; I didnt receive a single email or voice message warning me that the payment had not paid. This happened during the onslaught of the COVID and the major lockdowns, and due to family hardships during COVID, I was staying out of town with family for support reasons and was not even aware that my account wasnt being paid. Once I was aware of the situation, I immediately paid the bill and called and emailed the mortgage company multiple times requesting they remove the mark on my credit report. I called the mortgage company in XXXX XXXX and sent a letter on XX/XX/XXXX and a follow-up messages on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. ( I have attached these letters in the document portal. ) The mortgage company did not reply to my inquiries and gave me this late payment mark on my credit report. I now can not get critical financing I need for my family, because of this mark on my credit, and the company will not help with this unfair situation.

My and I husband contacted a lender we had both used in the past regarding the process for a pre-approval. The lender sent us a list of documents they'd need to get started with an application. The lender did not yet send an application or any forms to fill out. My husband sent them a few of the documents on the last. I was shocked then to have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I had not been informed that they planned to pull my credit and had NOT authorized my credit to be pulled. Only my husband was applying for a mortgage and there was no need to pull my credit. They should have informed me and gotten my approval first. I expressed concern and the reply was that their one hard inquiry wasn't a big deal. I asked them to file whatever documents necessary to undue their not-approved hard pull and they ignored me.
