I have been in the process of obtaining a refinance of my current home mortgage with a mortgage company called The Premier Mortgage ( XXXX # XXXX ). This process was started all the way back in XXXX, XXXX. I have submitted all of the required documentation and was in regular communication with the loan officer through late XXXX, XXXX. At that point, all communications with the company stopped, despite numerous voicemails, emails, and text messages sent. I was told by the mortgage officer that my loan was ready for approval in a phone conversation on XX/XX/XXXX. Since then, I have learned that the loan officer that I was working with has left the company and he is unaware if the company has reassigned his files to another officer. Again, I have tried at least 10 times within the past 2 weeks to call or email the company, with absolutely no response from the company. I have already spent {$540.00} out of pocket for an appraisal of my property ( paid on XX/XX/XXXX ) and am now at the point where that money has been completely wasted unless the mortgage company reengages with me and the loan moves to closing. I feel that this company 's lack of professionalism and follow-up is appalling and I'm hoping that something can be done about this as soon as possible.

Starting on XXXX XX/XX/2020, representatives from Premier Mortgage LLC have been incessantly cold-calling. Over 25 calls in 7 days and one email. They state they " are calling from the VA Department '' misrepresenting their affiliation. Also, when asked to clarify, they insist they are calling from the Department of Veterans Affairs, and make an effort to distract and move on to offer a VA streamline refinance. I asked 7 times to be placed on their do not call list. The calls continue. One loan specialist threatened me when I brought up misrepresentation as a VA official. Others refused to provide their names and license number and hang up the calls. The email they sent copied the addresses of XXXX recipients fully disclosing all email addresses. XXXX from Premier Mortgage called twice today, within 20 minutes. Each time he identified himself as 'calling from the VA Department '. Each time I asked to be removed from their call lists, informed them I was on the FTC Do Not Call Registry, and that there are existing/past CFPB complaints against their company. XXXX said there was nothing he could do to stop calling and that in order to help me, I had to answer two questions because I am a veteran.
