XXXX XXXX : XXXX The status of this is account is actively reporting as " Closed '' on XXXX consumer report, " XXXX '' on another, and then " 120 days Late '' on another. Other discrepancies : Count of Late Payments, XXXX, as well as the XXXX XXXX information. I don't understand how this company can report information to XXXX different reporting agencies, with each dispute coming back as " verified as accurate, mind you I've filed multiple disputes over the last 3 years, yet the information is still reporting inaccurate. This has really had a negative impact on my ability to obtain any new credit accounts, which has negatively affected my wellbeing. I am aware that the creditors and consumer reporting agencies have laws they must abide by and failure to do so is a violation with penalities resulting in {$1000.00} PER VIOLATION. Seeing as this company has been reporting inaccuraties since 2020, those violations will add up quickly, as well as the tens of thousands I'm to be compensated as a result of the companies inability to follow the rules, regulations, laws, etc. I will accept a settlement of {$5000.00} which would be for ONE VIOLATION for the last 5 months from ONE CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY. Yet in all actuality, it's MULTIPLE violations on this account, reported for 30 months, as well as reported to 3 different consumer reporting agencies- I would say those violation fees will add up substantially, therefore, I think we can agree that {$5000.00} is a very reasonable settlement. The account is also to be removed from all XXXX of the consumer reporting agencies : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. Personally, I believe this a far better settlement. I expect payment and removal within the next 10 days. Failure to comply with those terms, will result in myself taking the next course of action, that they will be financially responsible for all cost, per my Consumer Rights Lawyer Included below are some of the active violations, for this one account, as well as only one reported month, for one consumer reporting agency. US Code Title 15 Section 1681a ( 2 ) ( a ) ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or consciously avoids knowing that the information is inaccurate. ( disputed information multiple times, is reported differently among all 3 Consumer Reports. ) US Code Title 15 Section 1681 Violations reported by this company : A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if- ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. -The information CAN NOT be accurate, nor verified as accurate, when all 3 consumer reports do not match! ( 2 ) Duty to correct and update information A person who- ( A ) regularly and in the ordinary course of business furnishes information to one or more consumer reporting agencies about the person 's transactions or experiences with any consumer ; and ( B ) has furnished to a consumer reporting agency information that the person determines is not complete or accurate, shall promptly notify the consumer reporting agency of that determination and provide to the agency any corrections to that information, or any additional information, that is necessary to make the information provided by the person to the agency complete and accurate, and shall not thereafter furnish to the agency any of the information that remains not complete or accurate. ( b ) Duties of furnishers of information upon notice of dispute ( 1 ) In general After receiving notice pursuant to section 1681i ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title of a dispute with regard to the completeness or accuracy of any information provided by a person to a consumer reporting agency, the person shall- ( A ) conduct an investigation with respect to the disputed information ; ( B ) review all relevant information provided by the consumer reporting agency pursuant to section 1681i ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title ; ( C ) report the results of the investigation to the consumer reporting agency ; and ( D ) if the investigation finds that the information is incomplete or inaccurate, report those results to all other consumer reporting agencies to which the person furnished the information and that compile and maintain files on consumers on a nationwide basis. 1666a. Regulation of credit reports ( a ) Reports by creditor on obligor 's failure to pay amount regarded as billing error After receiving a notice from an obligor as provided in section 1666 ( a ) of this title, a creditor or his agent may not directly or indirectly threaten to report to any person adversely on the obligor 's credit rating or credit standing because of the obligor 's failure to pay the amount indicated by the obligor under section 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title, and such amount may not be reported as delinquent to any third party until the creditor has met the requirements of section 1666 of this title and has allowed the obligor the same number of days ( not less than ten ) thereafter to make payment as is provided under the credit agreement with the obligor for the payment of undisputed amounts. 15 USC 1692k ( a ) Amount of damages Except as otherwise provided by this section, any debt collector who fails to comply with any provision of this subchapter with respect to any person is liable to such person in an amount equal to the sum of ( 1 ) any actual damage sustained by such person as a result of such failure ; ( 2 ) ( A ) in the case of any action by an individual, such additional damages as the court may allow, but not exceeding {$1000.00} ; or ( B ) in the case of a class action, ( i ) such amount for each named plaintiff as could be recovered under subparagraph ( A ), and ( ii ) such amount as the court may allow for all other class members, without regard to a minimum individual recovery, not to exceed the lesser of {$500000.00} or 1 per centum of the net worth of the debt collector ; and ( 3 ) in the case of any successful action to enforce the foregoing liability, the costs of the action, together with a reasonable attorneys fee as determined by the court. On a finding by the court that an action under this section was brought in bad faith and for the purpose of harassment, the court may award to the defendant attorneys fees reasonable in relation to the work expended and costs. ( b ) Factors considered by court In determining the amount of liability in any action under subsection ( a ) of this section, the court shall consider, among other relevant factors ( 1 ) in any individual action under subsection ( a ) ( 2 ) ( A ) of this section, the frequency and persistence of noncompliance by the debt collector, the nature of such noncompliance, and the extent to which such noncompliance was intentional; or ( 2 ) in any class action under subsection ( a ) ( 2 ) ( B ) of this section, the frequency and persistence of noncompliance by the debt collector, the nature of such noncompliance, the resources of the debt collector, the number of persons adversely affected, and the extent to which the debt collectors noncompliance was intentional. Disputes submitted with all 3 consumer reporting agencies, they all came back as accurate or verified. However none of the information reported to one matches the information reported to the other two. That is called INACCURATE- still after several disputes, they fail to comply with the law. Preferred Credit was reporting that the full amount of the original Loan for the Purchase of a XXXX XXXX was still outstanding due and payable, after per the instruction of XXXX XXXX and prior authorization from Preferred Credit, that thru my own volition, contacted XXXX XXXX, told them that I was experiencing a financial hardship, had had a death in the family, had no late outstanding balance due, but could see continued financial hardship and asked if I would be authorized to voluntarily return the XXXX XXXX to XXXX, and my account zeroed and closed. XXXX, the Owner of XXXX XXXX, XXXX said yes, however he would need to contact Preferred Credit first, and receive their prior authorization for the XXXX returned, and the account immediately XXXX balanced, and closed and removed from the Credit Reports. Shortly after my/his request, Preferred Credited provided their prior authorization for the return and the account would be XXXX, the account closed, and removed from the credit report. I contacted XXXX XXXX. They stated that the paperwork had been submitted to Preferred Credit, and as soon as the Paperwork was processed, my Account would be updated to reflect the XXXX balance, the account closed, the obligation satisfactorily addressed and removed from Preferred Credit, and the Credit Reports. I reported that Preferred Credit had taken months to reflect this Update and XXXX balance, and was still vigorously persuing monthly payments from me. XXXX XXXX said, they were sorry about these contacts, that the process should be over soon, and that I should contact Preferred Credit and let them know they need not continue attempting to receive monthly payments, and that we were waiting for this XXXX balance update. Preferred Credit said, until the matter is fully update, they will continue to contact me for payment, regardless. Finally we received the news at XXXX XXXX, that Preferred Credit had finished processing the return, and my account had been updated. However, on my credit reports and letters from Preferred Credit stated, that the amount owed on the account was the same. XXXX said, this is an error. We have the vacuum back, never out of the box, and the account with preferred credit is closed. They in fact never loaned me anything and XXXX had returned the advanced funds for the Vac Loan to Preferred Credit. Preferred Credit said, although they have the merchandise back, never out of the box, the Original Loan still existed, and I still owe the full amount of the Loan. I had made 12 payments of $ XXXX true, but these amounts were being applied to interest ( even after the return of the Vac ), and the Orginial Loan Amount, although XXXX had given it back to PC, they still believed I should owe and pay them the Balance. I told them, this made no since. Per our agreement, we have the prior Authorization for PC to me and XXXX, that the voluntary return of the Vac, was authorized by PC, the account was satisfied and XXXX balanced by XXXX, and PC was to indicated the account was closed, satisfied, XXXX balanced and removed from the Credit Reports. Preferred Credit had the vac back, they have the funds back from XXXX, they had 12 months of payments from me with no refunds at all, and they still stated I owed the full balance of the original loan. For almost a year, I fought to have this inacurracy updated and my account XXXX balanced with PC and removed from all credit reports as promised by XXXX, and authorized by PC. Finally over a year later and with the help of my Attorney 's Office and the DOCP, PC finally listed the account as 'no balance owed. ' Even after receiving 12 months of from me and the return of the XXXX XXXX still in it's original packing, they marked the account per the credit bureaus, repossession. How rude, unfair, not what was agreed to as expressed by XXXX and the Prior Authorization. When they FINALLY removed the balance from the account, years later, they still left it on my credit report, this time not as an outstanding balance, but as a repossession. The Original agreement was to XXXX balance or no balance the account and remove the account from Preferred Credit and the Credit Bureaus. PC has always been unreasonable and they try to not adhere to common and common sense practices. I have suffered enough, with the loss of my family member, the financial hardship itself, the loss of 12 monthly payments and no product or benefit from it, the fighting with PC to have the account updated as per their agreement and prior authorization, to have my name slandered and credit denied because of this so called {$1000.00} debt with PC which was completely false, they have 12 payments and the Vac and notice that the account is closed and satisfied. This reporting is incorrect. The Account was supposed to be closed as satisfied, XXXX balanced and removed from all credit bureau reports and from PC. Why is PC continuing to report this when XXXX is stating, there is nothing to report, the account is closed satisfied. PC is reporting this issue as an involuntary repossession, which is false and they were instructed to close account, satisfied, and remove account from all credit bureaus, which they have not.

I responded to a postcard received in the mail stating I could receive a free XXXX detergent. Curious about this I called & talked to a XXXX XXXX telling me that I could get a free air quality check. He told me he normally only did this for a home ; but because of my concern about my XXXX & XXXX problems he would come & test my apartment. On XX/XX/XXXX he came & did a air check & told me that I had mold a pet danger in high amounts. Next thing I knew, he brought an air purifier in & turned it on & proceeded to lit up a cigarette to show how it took the smoke in. He told me he would give it to me for the price of {$500.00}. Out of desperation to help my XXXX problem, I thought I would try it ; but asked him if I could change my mind & he just gave me this funny look & told me that I would ruin my credit. The day after, I received a unexpected medical bill & would not be able to afford another payment. I called Preferred Credit, the financial place, the operator could not find my a/c number I was given. I told her I wanted to cancel my contract & she told me to call the seller. I called Mr. XXXX the same day & had to let a message telling him I needed to cancel my contract. He called me the following day & was not happy that I was cancelling. He told me that he would come & pick the purifier up in a couple of days. Next thing I knew, he dropped off a remote for the purifier when I was not home. I called Preferred Credit again to cancel telling them that I talked to Mr. XXXX. They told me they would contact him. They called me back & told me that he said he never talked to me. I talked to them again, I think they called me telling that I needed to cancel within 3 days which I did. The person got smart telling me that I had to cancel by signing & returning the contract. Now I know why when I got the contract from Mr. XXXX that he had it stapled all together. Normally u are just given the contract. She told me that it was not the responsibility of the seller to tell me that I needed to sign the contract & return it in order to cancel the contract. I signed the contract & mailed to Mr. XXXX with a letter stating that I wanted to cancel the contract & to delete all my personal & financial information. I told him I would let everybody know what a honest salesman he was especially to a single senior citizen. He called me that he received it & that he now remembers talking to me. He had fallen & had a concussion & he now remembers talking to me. He told me he could not cancel the contract that only Preferred Credit could cancel it. I have never experienced such unprofessional & deception ever. Now I can not afford to make this payment in XXXX & if I don't I will damage my credit. I still have the purifier ; but I do not use it. I think I was scammed because I desperate to find something to work for my XXXX. Somebody was lying to me about cancelling when Preferred Credit told me I had to talk to Mr. XXXX & he told me I had to talk to Preferred Credit. Mr. XXXX I feel tried to deceive me by stapling the contract so I could not see the conditions of the cancellation & nobody told me this. I signed the about part about the financing. I never heard of not being able to cancel anything.

On XX/XX/XXXX I call Preferred Credit to pay off my remaining loan balance early. It was listed on my credit report owing {$170.00}. I call and advise I wanted to pay it off. I was told I couldn't and would have to allow my payment due on XX/XX/XXXX to process and then I could call after and make the payment to pay it off. This did not make sense to me, so I question a supervisor who approved the payoff to be completed on XX/XX/XXXX I was advised that to payoff the balance I would need to pay {$170.00}. I provided my bank information and a payment of {$170.00} cleared my bank on XX/XX/XXXX. On the evening on XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice of my credit score changes. When reviewing the changes I notice I was still being reported of a {$2.00} balance with a minimum payment of {$5.00} being due. I called the automated system and it stated I had a payment due on XX/XX/XXXX. I questioned a representative about this and she stated I was given an incorrect pay off amount. I told her that is not my fault that it was wrong because they did not process the payment until 4 days after I authorized the payment. I asked for a supervisor and the supervisor refused to take the call. I then stated that for the small amount of {$3.00} that they say I owe in order to fully payoff the loan, to satisfy the issue and correct the error on there behalf they should adjust the balance to {$0.00}. They refused. To be done with the company I gave my payment information again and was told the payoff balance was {$3.00}. When the agent went to submit my payment on XX/XX/XXXX she stated that I only need to pay {$2.00} and they would process the payment that day. Then she stated the payment will process on XX/XX/XXXX. She assured me the payment will pay the account in full this time. I would expect a company that provides a payoff amount to take that payment as payment in full. Due to the error on the company behalf the small balance should have been adjusted and an apology provided. Instead I am told I have to pay the amount and didn't even get an apology of any kind for a company error. For working for a XXXX XXXX myself I am truly disappointed with the customer service provided and would hope that Preferred Credit gets it together and stops XXXX people over. I would have never known I owed anything if it wasn't for a credit monitoring alert.

This company has predatory lending practices and has not honored the agreement that was discussed between the preffered credit rep and the titanium rep and communicated to me. The company is rephrasing cash savings for the 0 apr any lending company can offer as an incentive. Also in talking to the project specialist they said my.apr was not established by my credit rating which at the time was between XXXX to XXXX. I was also mailed a revised contract that had a different apr rate orignal.apr was 21. 20 % and now it's 20.60 % on my online account so why was it lowered.? I am not mistaken about the incentive I was offered. As consolation prize they want me to clear 36 month tem loan in 2 monthsand they wont charge me interest? That would require me to make {$400.00} payments monthly They have sympathy for me but they should have also done their due dilgence to screen the companies they provided financial services to theough solucitation. The customer service representative was also impolite. Since I've paid 770 to date only 400 isj dollars has went to principal on {$1600.00} dollar loan as military spouse and vet I know the mla act covers up to 36 %. I notified the specialist as well that I was being overcharged in interest in addition the finance charge and premium service fee?. I want the 6 months of no interest/cash savings honored. My next resolve is to file a complaint with the ftc. I have no problem paying off the balance. I would like to do it in the allotted time I was given. Please see the email i sent to furyher discuss.. Especially how contrite their service rep was with me. I feel like I'm being preyed upon again with payday loan agreement terms. That's not what I signed up for. Credit cards financing are not this predatory. The company is listed as a financial institution surely they can fix this issue of fraudulent service. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a Payment for the final amount of {$42.00} it was processed on the following day, On XX/XX/XXXX they took another full payment of {$68.00}. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX to get the problem resolved. I was told that the payment would not stop until I called them, so they would have continued to take monthly payments every month had I not called on the XX/XX/XXXX but it was to late and they could not refund the amount taken on XX/XX/XXXX even though they were paid in full. I again tried to contact them by email and again on XX/XX/XXXX with no avail they keep insisting that They do not owe me anything but the {$19.00} which would have been the only over payment if I had not paid the full amount on XX/XX/XXXX. So now I am going to have to go to my bank and have them refund my money to me that they will not an go through the whole aggravation of fixing their mistake. XX/XX/2021 the full remaining balance of loan account XXXX with Preferred Credit was paid in full. Prior to this in XXXX the balance was paid 50 % off. I called Preferred Credit multiple times in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to ensure these payment updates would be reflected and they were not. I called the credit bureau XXXX multiple times and not only was the information never corrected their questions used to identify my identity were accounts that were not mine or did not have a valid answer. When I informed them of this they hung up the call after one to two hour hold times. I disputed this online twice and the last time on XX/XX/2021 confirmation : XXXX and the investigation should have been completed XX/XX/2021, but it remains locked with no results. Therefore, I can not dispute it again because it shows active but nothing being done to resolve it. I have called the credit bureau XXXX and they have refused to fix it. I have called Preferred Credit and spoke with two Supervisors one XXXX and explained how it affected my credit score and needed to be removed from my credit report and it was not fixed. I emailed complaints with supporting documentation on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and have not received any responses. On XX/XX/XXXX again my credit score went down XXXX points on XXXX with no explanation or supporting documentation and this account remains on there. I need this preferred credit account removed immediately and my credit score updated immediately. I would also like to file a formal complaint against XXXX for knowingly reporting false information, refusing to correct false information and knowingly allowing my credit score to be impacted by this false information. I also want to file a formal investigation into Preferred Credit for refusing to ensure correct information is reported to the credit bureau and causing harm to my credit score and ability to purchase.

On XX/XX/2020, a certain company made a vacuum cleaner which doubles as a air refresher presentation at my residence. I decided to buy the product so they linked me up via phone call with their affiliate loan company to finance the product for me. The loan company is called Preferred Credit Inc. During the call, I requested to know the interest rate on the loan, the Preferred Credit Inc. rep said he does not know, and that I will find out later. I pressed on him several times to disclose the loan 's interest rate, but he will not disclose it. Besides, the invoice they send via email does not provide interest rate, interest amount, not even account number on it. I saw some numbers on my bank account description and I assumed it was the loan account number. I called their customer service and asked again what is the interest rate I pay on the loan every month since XX/XX/2020, and the rep, who is a different person from the one I talked to at the time of signing the loan, will not tell me but I managed to get the interest amount from her. Out of a monthly payment of {$99.00}, {$64.00} was charged as interest amount for XX/XX/2020. Suspecting that the interest rate will be so high and they failing to fully disclose the interest rate to me, i requested to sign-up to their online portal. The rep sent me a link to sign-up ; after clicking on the link and having several error webpages, I got a way around it to sign-up to their web portal ; and confirming my suspicion, the interest rate was as high as approximately 22 %. Had this interest rate was disclosed to me at the time of signing up for the loan, I will not take this loan. The interest rate is outrageous and I am therefore filing a complaint for failure to fully disclose material information that will help me, a person of sound mind, make a reasonable decision ; especially when I requested for it.

On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I purchased a XXXX vacuum from XXXX, of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OK. The vacuum cost was financed through Preferred Credit Inc ( PCI ) for the amount of {$2500.00} and finance charge of {$990.00} total debt {$3500.00}. The financial contract stated that this debt could be cancelled three ( 3 ) business days after the date of the transaction. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I contacted XXXX and requested this purchase be cancelled because it was too expensive, he refused to take action, by trying to reduce the price or not answering my text/phone calls. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, first business day, I called PCI requesting termination/cancel this contract, but the representative informed me I could not termination/cancel this action, the seller had to request this action. Note : The sale was conducted over a weekend when individuals could not be contacted or were still trying to negotiate a deal. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, last day to termination/cancel contract, I returned the XXXX vacuum to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I wrote a letter to PCI informing them of the return of merchandise, that the XXXX Salesman, was avoiding me to delay the termination of contract As of this date, PCI has never contacted me. The PCI has placed on my credit reports a charge off of {$2400.00} which lowered my credit score by 100+ points. In my opinion, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and PCI are predator sales and lending services. I am currently contacting the credit reporting bureaus, providing this information, documentation and a request to remove the charge off. Any assistance with this situation will be appreciated. I purchased a set of Saladmaster cookware and used Preferred Credit, Inc. ( PCI ) for the financing. The promotional financing was 12 months same-as-cash. The contract says that I will not be charged interest on the balance until the 12 month period expires and the interest will only be applied to the unpaid balance. I received XXXX statements, XXXX in XXXX and XXXX in XXXX. My XXXX statements shows an interest charge of {$55.00}, which increased my overall balance. I contacted PCI and spoke to a supervisor named XXXX. I explained that I was not supposed to be charged interest and that I wanted the statement corrected. She said that even though I do n't have to pay the interest right now, PCI is required to show the interest that " would be due '' if I did n't pay before 12 months. They do not however, report the actual balance without the interest charge. I asked her if the balance that PCI reported to the credit bureaus included the interest charge and she said yes. I demanded that PCI stop reporting a debt amount that I did not actually owe and that PCI correct my statement to show the actual amount I owed under the 12 month same-as-cash agreement. The supervisor refused and said they were required " by law '' to report the balance that included the interest, even though I do n't owe that amount unless and until I do n't pay the balance within 12 months. PCI is falsely reporting my actual debt balance on my monthly statements by including the unearned interest. The statement does not reflect the actual balance, which does not include the interest. Additionally, PCI is falsely reporting the debt balance that includes the unearned interest to the credit bureaus, which makes it appear that my actual debt is greater than it currently is.

XX/XX/XXXX I had the XXXX XXXX XXXX come by my house and give me a demonstration and at the end of the demonstration I decided to purchase the bed and when I did they wanted to get the money right away or me sign for this credit : Preferred Credit, inc. After paying for 9 months I called the Preferred Credit and decided to make an extra payment and got the payoff amount. I decided to make a payment of {$2000.00}. They told me that I have an installment plan, and that the {$2000.00} would not go to just the principle. So all the time I wasn't getting any statements to see what they were doing, I asked them to send me statements when I called in XX/XX/XXXX and I just recently got a statement for the first time that I had to call them for the third time XX/XX/XXXX it arrived XX/XX/XXXX. They told me I was not allowed to call them anymore and would be charged {$10.00} every time I talk to a agent and was referred to the website to look at my statement so I did and that's when I discovered that the payments I have been making to the principal was not equal the amount that they were showing and they took more interest off of the XXXX I paid that I believe that they should have. I don't understand this company the way the interest is calculated seems to be every month is different. Back in XXXX 2017, Upon reviewing my credit report via XXXX, I noticed a several negative debts on my credit reports. I disputed them with the Credit Bureaus. All the negative times were removed except the company, which is the subject of this complaint. The company name is " Preferred Credit. '' Credit Bureau told me to contact the company. I followed up with the company, provided them with police report and my identifications. They refused to resolve my dispute, citing there is nothing to indicate that I 'm not responsible. When asked on what basis they reached that conclusion, they are unable to convey a direct and logical response. I have consulted with a lawyer ( " XXXX XXXX, XXXX. ) who told me to contact the CFPB as a condition precedent to filing legal action. I have made a request for Reproduction of Documents upon which the company reached their conclusion of " no indication of fraud '' but have yet to hear from them. Please contact the company and instruct them to remove the negative item from my credit report which is the result of identity theft. Impostors have used my name on several occasions and based on the documentary evidence in my possession, the credit collectors have cooperated and cleared my name. However, Preferred Credit has been unfairly intransigent in their attempt to frustrate me into paying for something that I have no knowledge of. They are affecting my credit in the meantime and refused to turn over documents to me.

I called Preferred Credit on XX/XX/XXXX. Spoke with the rep who answered the phone. Asked about the debt and how to take care of it. She told me that the debt was charged off in XXXX as a loss. And at this time I was not obligated to pay off the debt. She couldn't give me written proof that I was obligated to pay the debt off. And that I could pay it in full if I wanted to but not obligated. I asked to settle and have it removed and she told me she couldn't do that as if it wasn't paid in full they couldn't take it off my credit report. And I asked her if I wasn't obligated to pay the debt, but offering to settling it with a agreement of less than what was owed, and they still wouldn't take it off my credit report doesn't make sense. I was trying to settle a debt that the company told me I wasn't obligated to even pay, and all I asked was to remove it from my credit report if we came to an agreement for a fair settlement price. They still wouldn't accept that. And I asked again if I wasn't obligated to pay then they need to remove it from my credit report and they said they couldn't. I was pressured into buying this product by a sales person that would not leave my home after coming in to drop off a " free '' product that I had " won '' at the XXXXXXXX XXXX Woman 's Show. She played upon my son 's health issues and assured me that by providing ten people 's contact information I would not owe anything for the machine. I was leery of the purchase because of the extremely high interest rate and the predatory nature of the whole pitch, but she would not leave until I purchased from the XXXX XXXX XXXX Systems. When I did not make payments I reached out the sales person ( the only contact number I had ) and she did not return my calls. I could not locate anyone to speak to and they never reached out to me despite my phone number not changing since 2005. When I attempted to buy a home this Preferred Credit showed up as a negative account on my credit report. I had no clue who that was so I disputed it, but the reporting agencies told me to deal directly with Preferred Credit. After two weeks of constant back and forth and arguing I finally paid a settlement amount just to be able to move on with my life. This company starts out by lying to its customers and then backs people into unwinnable situations to extort money out of them all for products that do not do what they promised to do.

I purchased a vacuum on a XXXX XXXX. I performed everything i was supposed to in order to receive a total write off on the item I purchased. My sales rep refused to submit the appropriate paperwork to have this debt taken away. I have told the company repeatedly to stop calling, that my financial situation was not the best right now due to the pandemic and getting a divorce. They still continue to call and send mail correspondence. They have even contacted me via phone at my place of employment. This could cost me my job. XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX as the payoff amount of the loan per an email I received from the company, PCI. Then XX/XX/XXXX I logged into the website to follow up from an invoice email I received from them. The website showed the " regular amount due '' but also showed the account balance in parentheses, which typically implies a credit balance. I called to clarify and was told that my account did have a credit balance and they would be requesting a refund. XX/XX/XXXX I called again because I no longer had access to the online account and was told that I did not have a credit due. In fact, XXXX the Manager on duty at the time, told me that there was a " few dollars '' remaining and the company likely just closed out the account out of a courtesy. I tried explaining my previous conversation with the representatives from his company and he was dismissive of the information. I have received my refund and a letter stating that my account is now satisfied. I am concerned that this company is not keeping accurate books for their clients. The way the statements read appears that there is still an amount due and that is misleading.

In XXXX of 2015 I was contacted by XXXX of Minnesota. I was understanding that they wanted to talk to me about some health issue. When they came to my home, they turned out to be vaccume selling people. previously disputed a CFPB complain and results came back stating account not reported with XXXX. Preferred credit revolving account is factually incorrectly. All 3 bureaus are reporting account status as closed with a balance of {$5600.00} with the payment status of charge off with different account #. XXXX XXXX is reporting account # as XX and no data whatsoever on payment history whereas XXXX is reporting account # as XXXX with payments and late payments on payment history. Back in XXXX XXXX, XXXX I got approved for a loan from Preferred Credit , Inc., for {$3000.00}. After XXXX phone calls from them during the last 6 weeks, to verify my address again, to make sure I am me, finally I have received in the mail the first statement, today, XXXX XXXX, XXXX. To my astonishment I was already charged with {$43.00} interest. I called the loan company, and was told that the interest starts accruing from the day I signed the contract. To my question of why they dragged their feet and took their time to issue this first statement so late ( again, 6 weeks later ), they had no reply. I had contacted Preferred Credit multiple times to resolve the issue of my debt and paid off the amount that they said I owed. The last statement that was given to me was invalid along with repeat phone calls from company stating that I owe them more then what I have already paid to them in full. Two individuals that are XXXX distributors were going door to door selling vacuums in our neighborhood which is government housing. ( We were not aware until after purchase that they are not allowed to be doing so ) They called this company where we have the loan, Preferred Credit. Me and my husband do not feel as if we should pay them anymore due to the distributors going about this illegally. I am a real person with federally protected consumer rights that you are required to follow under FCRA. I am currently having an issue with Preferred Credit. I called them back in XXXX to find out what this account was for. They informed me that though it was for an old vacuum, they were not collecting this debt. When I asked why there is a balance and why it is even on my credit report, they couldn't tell me. The representative spoke to a supervisor and then told me they had nothing to do with this account anymore and it was sent back to the distributor. I received a call on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX from XXXX at Preferred Credit trying to collect on a XXXX that I had paid off in XX/XX/XXXX. I confirmed with them that I had made the payoff payment of {$2000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX but they insisted that though they showed I had made the payment it was showing on their system that it was unpaid. They threatened to have this debt negatively reflect on my credit report even though I informed them it was an error. During this Covid-19 pandemic I have been unable to make a payment on my preferred credit account as my wife lost her job and my income was hit hard. They said that wouldnt be an issue and then whenever I got some money I paid the entire balance off but they reported a missed payment for 90 days which really hurts my credit.
