This company continues to call me from various numbers. The possible collection agent today was rude and unprofessional. They do n't go into any specifics. They just call repeatedly. The numbers I get from them are XXXX or XXXX. I will no longer play this cat and mouse game with a company that employees fools. I do n't have any correspondence from this company. I do n't know what they believe they have with my name on it. How exactly does a company continue to call, but does not tell you what they want. Nor send you out any communication as to whatever they are calling about. I am a XXXX XXXX and this coming is causing stress and stress to my XXXX. My doctor has advised me this inconsiderate is adding to on my XXXX, which will move up my XXXX timeline. This is ridiculous. I recently filed a complaint in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX, claim number XXXX. The debt was placed on my credit and I attempted to resolve the matter with the debt collection agency at that time but was unsuccessful in doing so until you all got involved. After trying to dispute with the company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, I contacted you all and the debt was removed off my account immediately. Now, I have another credit agency, Praxis, attempting to collect money from me on a debt that I do not owe and that was removed off all XXXX credit reports. I received the letter on XX/XX/XXXX ( attached to this complaint ) and immediately contacted the company. I called the number and extension provided in the letter and was violated in so many ways. I tried to speak with the representative and explain to him I did not owe the debt and I had documentation proving the debt was removed with a {$0.00} balance. As soon as I tried to explain my case to the representative became very upset and hostile and would not allow me to explain what was going on. As soon as I informed him I was not obligated to pay this debt, he began to yell and force me to believe I owed the debt. The representative stated " my company is legit and they would not be attempting to collect a debt I owed if I did not owe it ''. I tried to respond to explain I had proof this debt does not belong to me and again, he began to yell and he said " if I did not listen to him and he was not going back and forth with me and if I continued to talk, he would hang up the phone ''. That he did. The man hung up on me after yelling at me and telling me I will pay this debt. I have never been talked to so rudely in my life coming from someone attempting to conduct business. I do not owe this debt because I left the school ( XXXX University ) with a {$0.00} balance. I would have never been able to get my transcripts and enroll in another college if I had a negative account status. XXXX finance department cleared me to receive my transcripts which are included in the claim number I provided above. Actually, I was able to pay for 10 copies of my transcripts right before they closed. This debt is not real.

Praxis Financial Solutions XXXX have promised a Trade Line deletion in exchange for payment for a Charged -Off debt purchased from XXXX XXXX Unfortunately, the payment was received but the written agreement for the deletion of this account 's " Trade Line '' and " all credit reporting that has been done on this account '' has not been honored. I have brought this concern directly to XXXX. Although my concerns were clearly documented with specifics, XXXX has rerouted my concerns ( with inaccuracy ) to a " request for XXXX to remove its credit bureau reporting due to debt being paid or settled in full with debt buyer ''. Clearly, XXXX 's summation is not the concern, and this gives the appearance that they simply do not care. These institutions have legal teams with great experience at wordplay, at times this only adds confusion to the consumer but not real solutions to problems that have negatively impacted the consumer through no fault of their own. Institutions like XXXX have no incentive to take my concern seriously. This huge oversight has negatively impacted my credit, and re-victimized my family. See previous reports from CFPB Case # XXXX ( and the attached ) where obscene language and abusive language was also reported -- not from XXXX. Using terms like " Trade Line '' deletion and " all credit reporting that has been done on this account '' are clear terms any consumer would reasonably expect to be honored. Any consumer would have been under the impression PFS XXXX received permission to enact this promise. There should not be a need for " buried in blueprint explanations '' or exemptions as to why this promise did not or does not apply. If deception was not the intent, then I simply ask for PFS to work with XXXX to " right this wrong ''.
We are grateful CFPB supervises banks, credit unions, other financial companies, as well as enforce federal consumer financial laws. The small guy can easily become devoured had it not been for your organization 's dedication to law and fairness.
As it now stands, XXXX has now " dinged '' my credit report, made changes to it, and has done more harm at this sensitive time.

FYI, there not much of a selection for the specific issue of this misrepresented matter so therefore I went with the best possible selection by selecting there should be no response to lawsuit.
I settled a debt XXXX/XXXX/2014. The settled in full letter provided Is not sufficient according to the credit bureaus. The credit bureaus will not acknowledge the letter due to the debt collector being a third party who is representing another third party and the letter lists the original creditor as well as the full original account number. I told the collection agency, Praxis Financial Services, the credit bureaus is not accepting their letter. PFS consistent response was we never have this issue and we send letters all the time and there is no issue having the credit bureaus being updated. I 'm having an issue an no one is wanting to help. Do not tell consumers a letter proving the debt has been resolved will suffice. Very misleading and is a violation of the fdcpa. If I am telling this business the letter is not working they should make an effort to resolve the issue such as contacting the debt purchaser, who will not answer the phone, to resolve the issue. I also tried contacting the original creditor and I ca n't get any confirmation of this debt was even place with this agency and the fact praxis is not willing to contact the bureaus or help rectify the issue is a red flag.

Some guy from Praxis Solutions ( telephone # XXXX ) contacted me about a debt I attempted to pay several years ago for which i have received NO written communication for years. Said I had to make telephone arrangements to pay the debt -- but when I requested a letter -- he refused and then threatened to report me for refusal to pay -- to put it on credit report. I said I was not refusing to pay, but wanted a written communication first. He became non-negotiable and then ended the phone call -- hanging up on me. This was for an old XXXX card I have made several attempts to track down, yet have not received any communication from them. This guy was nasty and abusive.

I was contacted XX/XX/XXXX by a collection agency representative who claimed he was an " officer '' and made threats of immediate arrest and intimidation. This, despite my having sent the collection agency a letter asking them to cease all further communication in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They have since repeatedly contacted me in violation of this law.
