It was XX/XX/XXXX, very early in the morning, around XXXX, I got a phone call from this random number, it woke me up, there was this lady, who said I was prequalified for a loan, I was passing trough a very bad financial situation at this time, so I thought it was a bless, she started saying that, they were a very reputable company in the US , and then to explain, what the loan was about and how much I would pay if I accepted, she said they were able to borrow me {$850.00} and I will have to pay in return {$1100.00} because I would be paying XXXX, so I thought it was a good deal, and then I accepted, I made the agreement over the phone, and I agreed to pay {$250.00} twice a month for over a period of two months, the first payment was {$320.00}, on XX/XX/XXXX, next was {$250.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, next {$250.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, next {$250.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, and the last one XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On the previous XX/XX/XXXX it was when I found out that something was wrong, I call them to the phone number on their website witch is XXXX, I wanted to make sure my account was released from their end, and, if there was any remaining amount I wanted to pay it off, and this person said that I owned them {$1100.00}, I was in shock, then he continued saying that, if I wanted to keep paying twice a month, I still have to pay over {$5000.00} at a interest raite of 763 %, for the {$850.00}, so I told him that I wouldnt pay that because is too much and the agreement was that I will be paying them {$250.00} for over two months and believed I paid it off already, even with a interest of 50 %, he said I had to paid them, I believe thats unfair. Today XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX, I got another phone call from them, the phone number was XXXX, there was a guy who started telling me that I have to pay them, That I own them, and I have pay. Im so scared that, they will come after me, and try to do something on my pay stubs from work, or in any other of my bank accounts, or on my credit score. I refuse to pay what they say I own them, because I believe that, I already did, and even more than 50 % XXXX. they have all my information, and I dont Know what to do about it.

I applied for a loan on XX/XX/2023. After applying online, I was receiving calls back to back from this company. Finally answered and spoke with them. We went through the whole process of the loan application and once we got to the part of the installments, I informed I would think about it and didn't want to do it right now since the interest rate was so high. In fact it was 777 %. They said I was prequalified for {$870.00} but with interest, the pay back would be over {$5000.00}. Installment plan was for 24 months of a payment of {$240.00} every XXXX weeks. After going over that, I informed I would think about it and didn't want to follow through yet. He informed he would follow up with me in a week. Next morning I got an email saying my application was approved. I called them immediately and informed I wanted this application cancelled as I did inform the last person prior, I didn't want to go through with it and I would think about it. I verbally stated I did not want anything debited from my account. When I called them to cancel the loan application I was transferred to XXXX different people. I was talked over the entire time about different payment options. I kept insisting I DID NOT want the loan and to cancel the application. Once I was transferred to the " higher '' department I was then disconnected. I didn't have time to call them back as I already wasted my lunch time and had to get back to work. An hour later, the funds were in my account. Called them back and was informed there was nothing they can do since the funds were released to my account. I was then disconnected again!!!! This loan was a forced loan after VERBALLY informing them over and over and over I did not want it and to cancel it.

I received an email from this lender, as I previously had a loan with them, and they were advertising a pre-screened offer for returning customers. I clicked on the link in the email to look further, not realizing until afterwards that it automatically applied for a loan, which was not the intent, nor was it disclosed that clicking the link automatically applies for a loan in your name. I was instructed later to call this lender, so I did. I let the person know that I did not intend to apply for said loan, to which he did not respond directly to. He stated I was denied, and 10 days later I received an email stating I was denied for income limitations. My income had not changed from the first loan I was approved for. There was no verification of income as there was for the first loan application. When I called to inquire why I was disqualified by my income, no information was given. In fact, I was transferred multiple times, left on hold for exorbitant wait times, and generally given the run-around. This clearly was a shortsighted attempt to cause me to get frustrated and give up. Now, today XX/XX/26, I spoke with them and moments later another denial came to my email box, as if they submitted yet another application in my name fraudulently. I suspect a lot of fraud and predatory lending practices from this company, as they are a Tribal lender and unfortunately, unregulated in a lot of their practices.

I needed some quick cash for groceries and gas. So I was applying for a payday loan and got contacted by Post Lake Lending. They said I was approved for {$700.00}, but when the APR was disclosed they were deceptive in how they disclosed it. They said something along the lines of " your interest is going to be XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' with no decimal point added. I figured XXXX % APR not XXXX % APR, which is what I'm paying. When I noticed this I started inquiring with lawyers, which was in the past week or XXXX. However, I received an email today saying they are going to garnish my wages if I didn't pay them within 10 days of receiving their email, which was today. It's not even about the ridiculous interest rate - It's about how it was disclosed and led me to believe I was paying XXXX % less in interest.

I was contacted by a company called " Post Lake Leading '' Or " XXXX XXXX '' I guess they are same company. They said they was gon na garnish my wages in the total of {$970.00}. But, at only 15 % of each pay period, till the balance was paid out. They have not validate this debt with me. I have not made any contacts with this company to pay anything to them. And, it's not even on my credit report at the moment. Not really sure if it will show up on my report later. But, if it does show up on my credit, I'd like it removed immediately.

On XX/XX/2023, I was approved and received a loan of {$450.00} being told over the phone that overall payment throughout the terms of the loan would {$450.00} plus {$120.00} in interest or around {$570.00}. I've since paid {$200.00}, plus two {$130.00} since. After calling them I was told I would still owe 5 additional bi-weekly {$130.00} plus {$20.00} after. Total amount of over {$1000.00} or 100 % over principal amount. Is this company legal in California? I realize now I never received a copy of my loan agreement or terms of payment.

I took a loan out cause at the time I was homeless and needed some money to not starve. After which when they sent me all the paper work is when I saw it was like 300 % +. Well I accepted that as my own XXXX but after awhile I lost the job I got and have been unable to pay. Due to this my phone got turned off and I have attempted to contact them in any other form I can and they refuse to reply to me. Keep getting emails and phone calls to get a loan or claiming I have applied for a loan. I have not applied and have explained this to them but they continue to call and send emails several times a day. I recieved a loan for $ XXXX have been deducted {$89.00} per week from my bank account for XXXX weeks. when calling to see the remaining balance I was told there were still {$590.00} principle left and all I was paying was the interest in finance fees. My loan with this company was supposed to be completed on XX/XX/XXXX. However they have continued to pull funds from my bank account without authorization and after doing stop payments. I attempted to call the number they provided to pay my loan early and the options they give you in the phone prompts hang up in you instead of allowing you to talk to anyone or make a payment. Forcing me to stay in a longer term for the loan and fraudulently force me to pay more interest on the loan. Every prompt option hangs up on you.
