I opened a equity reserve line of credit with XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX for {$20000.00}.
Debt collector purchased this loan in XXXXand now at the end of XXXX sent me a notice of default and demand for payment XXXX XXXX XXXX became XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX.
My last payment to XXXX XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX closed my account as of XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX charged off my loan XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX sent me a settlement offer dated XX/XX/XXXX for {$4200.00} at that time the total as of XX/XX/XXXX was {$21000.00}.
I did not pay the settlement offer due to the fact I did not have {$4200.00} at that time. The last correspondence I received from XXXX XXXX was dated XX/XX/XXXX.
I filled for bankruptcy XXXXand my discharge date was XXXXWhy did I not receive a notice of default after my bankruptcy was discharged? I did not receive any notice of default until the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX.
