We just recently found out that apparently the debt collector Plaintiff attorney law firm has been switched on XX/XX/XXXX and yet we received no notification from the Servicer, the old law firm or the new law firm. The old law firm Pluese, Becker, Saltzman continued to correspond with us by phone and email thru XX/XX/XXXX even though they were no longer the law firm on the foreclosure complaint. They continued to give us false, incorrect and contradictory information. We only found out about this change when the Servicer XXXX Servicer charged our account over {$2000.00} for fees for the new law firm, who has done nothing on the case, that we are aware, of that our account wasnt already charged for the previous law firm. When we questioned XXXX, they had no answer of what the breakdown of fees was for and directed us to call the new law firm XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. When our phone message was returned by law firm, they also had no idea what the fees were for, but had full knowledge of all the previous chain of events of the foreclosure complaint, which the law firm smugly and condescending tone talked down to us and went as far as to say to my that I am one of those guys and he knows my type. Im furious at the way I was treated by this law firm, as its my very first contact with them and ever and I was directed by the Servicer XXXX to contact them to get my questions answered regarding the $ 2000+ fees, which at this time present time today still has not been answered. Our complaint is against 1. the Servicer XXXX for the fees added to the account with no explanation and incorrect Reinstatement balance. 2. Old law firm Firm Pluese Becker & Saltzman for continuing to contact us and give us incorrect information, when to best of our knowledge and according to new law firm was no longer the law firm on the foreclosure complaint case as of XX/XX/XXXX. 3. New law firm XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX for their unprofessional, smug and condescending attitude while speaking with me for the very first time and not answering our questions regarding their law firms fees charged by the Servicer. Which as of today we still have not had answered by the law firm as they said would happen on our phone call.

On XX/XX/2018 a man appeared at my door saying he was serving papers for ( what initially sounded like ) XXXX. I said I had no account with them, and told me I needed to call the lawyer involved. Upon looking at the documents they related to my deceased grandmother. Knowing that by Federal law I am not responsible for this debt, and the fact it felt like a scam ( being served with papers without any prior effort by any party to contact me regardless ), I did not take action. On XX/XX/XXXX I and my spouse received additional correspondence from this lawyer stating that he was entering into judgment to have the debt paid. All documentation contains a laundry list of relatives for my late-grandmother, including the executor of her will ( which is not me ). Upon reviewing documentation sent by certified mail it seems that she took out a loan at some point prior to her passing. At no point was I aware of this loan, I never discussed it with her, nor did I co-sign on this loan. After talking with a representative of the CFPB on XX/XX/XXXX I wrote a letter to this lawyer indicating that I have no legal responsibility for this debt, nor do I have any intention of paying it. This letter was sent by certified registered mail on XX/XX/2018.

XXXX XXXX XXXX has certified figures as correct & true to the NJ courts, while helping secure a Final Judgment. However it is clear they used CREATIVE Accounting and used made up figures and wrong dates. This Foreclosure complaint is wrong from the start to the present & new recent evidence leads us to strongly believe that fraud has also been committed to secure a Final Judgment. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX is the substitute Plaintiff on this Foreclosure with wrong figures from the beginning. It was started wrongly by XXXX XXXX XXXX and attorney Pluese, Becker & Saltzman with a negative escrow balance In breach of the modification contract. They were told by us many times that there was an error but they refused to listen. We now have the proof and its in front of the court on n a Motion to Vacate FJ.
