I recently paid off, after four years, a credit card consolidation debt resolution program. I entered this agreement with Pioneer Law Firm, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( phone number XXXX ). My account has been paid in full. I was informed on XX/XX/XXXX, by XXXX, that I had a balance of {$2800.00} left in my account. XXXX told me, however, that I owed {$23000.00} on the account to XXXX XXXX XXXX, or their legal agent. So, I told her I wanted all drafts from my checking account stopped, the account closed, and a refund of the {$2800.00}. A week later, on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to XXXX. He told me the money ( {$2800.00} ) would be deposited in my account between Wednesday and Friday ( XXXX XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed by XXXX that now there was only {$2600.00} in my account due to administrative fees. After more than an hour on hold, speaking to XXXX, then another hold, I wrote Pioneer an email explaining this situation. The last I was told was that another department had to handle the cancellation. Subsequently, I have received only inconsequential emails from Pioneer and played phone tag with a man named XXXX XXXX, with no resolution in sight. In short, after four long years, and over {$30000.00}, I have come to find out that Pioneer has only settled about {$20000.00} in debt. Our agreement was to settle over {$43000.00} in debt. Pioneer Law Firm did NOT uphold its end of the bargain. Therefore, I am lodging this complaint. I asked for a refund of what was left in my account, and I was told it was on its way. I was told that I still owe over {$23000.00} on this account. How could that possibly be? Consequently, I want the {$2800.00} Pioneer Law Firm had in my account when I asked them to send me a refund. And, finally, I want the {$23000.00} taken off my credit report, which is what Pioneer Law firm was supposed to be doing the last four years, While I was paying them {$630.00} a month. I mistakenly mailed this letter to XXXX, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I will also mail and fax this information and the relevant documents to you. Thank you for your kind attention.

In XXXX we enrolled in a Debt Consolidation Program, trying to pay our debts instead filling a bankruptcy. We signed a contract with Pioneer Law Firm, PC where they promised at least reduce a 35 % off the debts, we enrolled 8 accounts to be paid, after 4 years we finished with our payments and resulted that we just paid 3 out of 8 accounts, and now we are more than " welcome '' to pay the rest of them out of our pocket, and we already paid one of them out of the program ( XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX XXXXXXXX ). We received another collection letter that I sent it to them to start the negotiation ( and pay it out of our pocket XXXX but they said they are unable to help us because we already are out of the program ( since XX/XX/XXXX ) due the inactivity, that occurred because we are not making the payments through them anymore. ( Of course, this has an extra cost for the administration fees ). They included the Litigation Support Services in the contract and 3 of the accounts already filled summons against us. But they denied the service because they closed our program. We have pending 4 more accounts to be paid. We made 48 payments of {$990.00} as we agreed in our contract to negotiate 8 accounts with the total of {$74000.00} So far, we learned that you always could negotiate with a creditor without the " help '' of this companies, but what can we do now?
