XX/XX/2017 i have a student loan and was looking to apply for student loan forgiveness and XXXX XXXX and/or Performance SLC offer to help me and and charge for a service fee. They told me if i pay the fee then my student loan will be wiped away. i felt for it because who wouldnt want to be free from student loan. my bills from XXXX went to XXXX , i was excited and assume that my loan i gone. but after 2yrs XXXX contact me to recertify. but then i still have my loan left knowing it only went to forebearance. and now im paying the {$2500.00} charge fee and i have to be back paying my syudent loan at the same time where i could have use the charge fee to help pay my loan. i want to cancel the service but ive been searching online hoping there's help from students like me that fell for this scam. atleast they could refund the charge fee or atleast stop taking money from my account. please help i couldnt afford anything paying all this useless service when i could have done it myself for free. this company are misleading student like me so desperate to be forgiven from student loan.

I had got out of my contract with the company XXXX XXXX. I had asked for a refund through this company since all my payments were made to XXXX XXXX. Now Im being told i have to pay Performance SLc {$56.00} a month to pay off the {$1100.00} dollars then after i have to do the annual recertification by myself til my school loan is forgiven. I find it very funny that i was explained in full how the program works now that i had mentioned i would be getting a lawyer involved. When i initially signed up in 2017 i was told after the contract that my Loan was forgiven. I want out of my contract with everyone i do not need to pay anyone a service fee monthly for 21 months just so they can do a annual recertification 1 time a year. Not to mention the man i spoke to in account services was extremely rude he cut me off every chance he got. His response when i told him that it would of been cheaper for me to pay off my actual loan was thats right, but thats how this contract works. This is a complete rip off and i will be taking this further to the states attorneys office.
