On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the XXXX County States Attorney office indicating they had an order to subpoena me for a court hearing that needed to be delivered to me as quickly as possible so I can avoid further consequences and possible jail time. They indicated that they would be arriving at my home within an hour and asked if I was home. I said no, and asked what it was about. The young man calling indicated that he was just hired to deliver the subpoena and did not know what it was about, but that I should call an XXXX # and they would be able to reschedule, and if I did not call it would be declared as negligence on my part. I told him I would take time off work and meet him at home or that he could bring it to my office. He indicated he had to follow strict scheduling directions and again I should call the XXXX # to reschedule so that there is a record of my compliance. After hanging up the phone I thought for a while what this may be about. At approximately XXXX I called the XXXX, I was immediately told that this was an attempt to collect a debt. I told them I was calling about a subpoena that was to be delivered to me. The person I spoke with said that the subpoena could be avoided if I " took care '' of my debt. I asked him to explain what debt he was talking about and he mentioned a debt that was on my credit report that I had already spoken to a collection agency on and explained that I had never lived at the address they indicated nor had I ever done business with the company they mentioned. It was a home alarm system company, I told them I never had a home alarm system in my home, ever. They said the address looked like it belonged to a family member and that I should call them and get them to pay this debt. I told them I did know the name of the person but had no idea how I could contact them, but would try to figure it out. After hanging up I thought about it for a bit longer and decided I had no idea how to go about this. I called the company back and told them I would rather handle it with the court as they had originally indicated and asked them to send me the court documents so I can go testify that this was not my debt. They said they would send me documentation. No documentation has ever been received. Today, XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call and vice mail from a person identifying himself as XXXX XXXX, no other information is given. The message is as follows : 'This is XXXX XXXX I am placing this call today regards to paperwork received by my office from one of our clients it states that documents were sent to your house and you failed to respond. Due to the nature of this claim it is imperative that you or your attorney contact he office immediately at XXXX. Unfortunately if I do not hear from you I will have to mark this as a refusal to comply which may result in further action. Again my number is XXXX. ' I called the XXXX # and XXXX XXXX answered the phone, I told him I was calling back regarding a call I had received. Before I could tell him what the call was about he indicated that the last time they spoke with me was in XX/XX/XXXX and that I had indicated that the person responsible was a family member. He continued to say that all communication had stopped and I never called back. I told him that I had called and asked that the subpoena be issued becasue I had no idea how to clear up that I was not responsible to this debt and that I was not the one who indicated it was a family member that they were the ones who told me it was. I also asked what company he was calling from he said Account XXXX XXXX. I told him that I had indicated that I would like to be subpoenaed. He became aggressive saying that I owed this money and I had to pay it or I would have negative consequences. I told him that the tactic they were using was illegal and I would be reporting them becasue they were telling me I needed to go to court and were threatening going to jail. He denied that anyone would be threatening me with going to jail, said that they comply with all state and federal laws and that they were not a collection agency so some of the laws did not apply to them, however because I was lying to him about the threat of jail time he could no longer believe anything I said and would have to end the call. He hung up. The best I can gather from these calls is the following information : : It was applied for in XX/XX/XXXX ( a home security system ) Place into debt in XX/XX/XXXX The caller is a mediation company named Account XXXX XXXX. Their client is Perfection Collection.

I first learned of a collection agency debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX for nearly {$5000.00} for an alarm company when I got a copy of my credit report on XX/XX/2018. I sent a validation letter certified to Perfection Collection demanding proof that I owe the alleged debt, which was received on XX/XX/XXXX. They replied with an offer to settle for 75 % of the original alleged debt and a copy of a contract with only my first and last name matching : * The installation and billing address has never been associated with me in any way. I have never even been to the town listed. * The customer phone number has never been associated with me or anyone I know. * The email address has never been associated with me. * The signature on the alleged contract does not match mine. * I have never had any contact or business with the alarm company. * The spouse listed as spouse in the emergency call list is not my spouse or anyone I have ever met or had any contact with. * The phone number listed for the spouse is not a number I have ever had any contact with. I disputed the debt online with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX replied : The company that reported the information has certified to XXXX that the information is accurate. This item was not changed as a result of our processing of your dispute. Please review your report for the details. According to my credit card FICO history between XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 my FICO score declined by 138 with no negative information other than the Perfection Collection listing. I called Perfection Collection and explained to someone who identified as XXXX XXXX that none of the information on the alleged contract matched me or my verifiable details, but he said the only way he could help me is if I provided a person who committed fraud for them to collect from. I asked to talk to his supervisor and was transferred to XXXX XXXX. I told her again that none of the information on the form matched mine. She read me a date of birth and social security number that were not listed anywhere on the paperwork her company provided me and said that proved the account was mine. She repeated the only way to get them to respond to my proof that this is not my account was to provide a name of a person being prosecuted for fraud. She said a police report was not enough. I called my local police to report fraud. An officer called back and offered to speak to Perfection Collection on my behalf after hearing some details about the debt Perfection Collection alleged that I owe. The officer called back to let me know that Perfection Collection told him the same thing as they told me, that a person had to be identified by law enforcement as committing fraud in order for them to remove the negative information from my credit report. He explained to me it was easy to get a date of birth and social security number online, despite me never having provided them. He asked that I forward the validation letter and other supporting documents to him. The officer contacted me again to share a case number and to say a suspect with my first name but a different last name at the address on the contract was in his database with an alias of matching my first and last name. He called Perfection Collection and said I was the wrong person and they said they wouldn't do anything about it until someone was prosecuted. I reported Perfection Collection to my states division of financial regulation, and learned that Perfection Collection does not have a license to do any collection activities in my state. Perfection Collection is not licensed to operate in Oregon and refused to remove a debt from my credit report they knew to be not mine. Anything that can help prevent them from continuing this abusive behavior to other innocent people would be highly welcome.

This complaint is in addition to existing claim # : XXXX. I am adding documents to the this dispute / complaint. Since XXXX, my family and I had XXXX as our home security. In early XXXX, a technician came to our home claiming to be an XXXX tech and stated they were going to their customers home to schedule appointments, as a courtesy, to upgrade their security equipment to their latest model. He stated the system we had was outdated and they are having trouble with many of their customers with the same systems. We agreed to the update/ upgrade. Before the tech left our home, he stated we had to sign, stating we agree to the upgrade and that our bill would be discounted because I was XXXX XXXX military. Approx 2 months later, I called XXXX because I was having constant beeping issues with the system. The XXXX rep advised me that I did not have an active account with them and that the service was disconnected. I explain to the XXXX rep of the upgrade by their technician and what happened. The XXXX rep stated no one from their company came to our home and did any installs and nothing was wrong with our old system. She stated that it seems we were scammed. I then tried to contact the tech that came to our home and no answer, so I called the number on the card he left us. I explain to that Customer Service rep of what happened and she stated they are XXXX and not XXXX. I told her that I would like to cancel the service as we did not agree to change company. The tech stated he was from XXXX. The customer service rep stated we signed a contract and would have to pay the termination fee if we cancelled. I then asked to speak to manager because this was fraud as we were misled that we were upgrading our existing XXXX monitoring system/ equipment. I also stated that I will pursue legal action against this company, with our XXXX XXXX Legal office because I am sure this was illegal. The rep placed me on hold. After several minutes of holding, the rep stated they will agree to cancel the contract and that we would be at a month to month service agreement with them. She asked that we give them another chance to fix the system and keep the service. I agreed to the month to month service and the rep transferred me to troubleshoot the beeping noise. Throughout the next year, we continue to have issue with the alarm, as it would always say ( red button ) that our doors and windows were opened. Also, we had problems with the alarm " arming ''. In late XXXX, I called XXXX and advised the rep to TOTALLY disconnect the service and that I was switching back to XXXX. After the call we never heard from XXXX since, until we received this collection letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me a letter dated XXXX XX/XX/XXXX in which I mailed a letter back to them disputing this debt on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX notified XXXX of this debt, which is against the law, as I had disputed this debt within the 30-day notice. XXXX XXXX did not follow the law in reporting this debt correctly as XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX is under the 30-days allowed to dispute. On XXXX XXXX, I sent a certified letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX disputing this debt again, also within the 30-days dispute notice. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX reported this debt to my XXXX report, but listed it as PERFECTION Collections, LLC. I have never received a letter/notice from Perfection Collections, LLC. Per my XXXX Credit Report, the address for Perfection Collections, LLC is the same as XXXX XXXX XXXX. There is a whole lot of illegal action/reporting going on with this account and I request that this debt is removed QUICKLY from all reports and NEVER added back again as I do not owe this debt to XXXX nor XXXX.

On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from an " Unknown number. '' The caller identified herself as a process server and asked whether I would be home during a certain window so that she could serve me with court papers on a lawsuit that had been filed against me. She stated that if she could not serve me during this window I may miss the court date and have a judgment entered against me. I am an attorney, and immediately recognized what she was saying was not correct. I asked what address she was talking about, and she provided an address in XXXX XXXX that I had not lived at for over 3 years. I now live in XXXX. I asked what the case number was, and she would only give me a phone number to call and a reference number, which I recognized was not a court case number in XXXX XXXX. I then asked what court the case was filed in and she responded, " XXXX County. '' I looked up my name on the XXXX County XXXX XXXX public judicial index and no case had been filed against me. I called the number she provided and gave them the reference number. The company did not immediately identify themselves, and instead began to attempting to collect an old debt that, to my knowledge, had been cleared and discharged by both the original company and another collections agency it had been sold to. I asked the person to back up and identify the Company she worked for. She told me the company 's name was " XXXX XXXX XXXX. '' She then went on to tell me that a lawsuit, or a third party lawsuit, for breach of contract had been filed against me related to a debt from XXXX from a security company, XXXX, to collect {$4200.00}. She mentioned that a collections company had written off the debt as noncollectable and now their company, or their client, was trying to collect the debt. I could either pay right now or go to court. I stopped her and told her that I had cleared that up in XXXX with both XXXX and Perfections Collection. The debt had been sent to collections in my name in error, and I did not owe any money pursuant to the contract. Perfections Collections provided me a letter stating the same. ( The amount of the debt Integrity quoted me was about {$800.00} more than the amount of the debt in XX/XX/XXXX. ) I relayed this information to the woman, who then transferrred me to her supervisor. Her supervisor 's name was XXXX. I asked XXXX about the lawsuit that had been filed against me. He backtracked and stated that the Company he worked for was actually a " private mediation company '' and " his client '' was assessing whether or not to pursue a lawsuit against me ; it had not already filed a lawsuit. I again told him about how I had already cleared the debt up with XXXX/Perfection Collection and had the letter acknowledging the debt had been written off because I had no obligation to pay it. He appeared to have the XXXX contract in front of him, and he agreed that my name was not on the contract and only the name of my former landlord and someone else were on the contract. He then asked that I send email him the letter from Perfection Collections and gave me an email and a phone number. He then told me that he would " recommend to his client '' not to pursue a lawsuit against me. I hung up and attempted to email the address he gave me, but the email bounced back. The phone number he provided also did not work. I have no idea if this company is still out there attempting to collect this debt. I read elsewhere online and on the XXXX website that this company has used similar fraudulent techniques on people across the country. I believe this practice violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and other federal laws.

In XX/XX/XXXX we contacted XXXX XXXX., to provide home monitoring service to our existing alarm system in the home it which was already operational requiring no additional installation, products, or services. We spoke with XXXX via phone and at no point was discussion of any agreement, commitment, or anything related which would require a binding agreement or contract to any product or service. Especially since we already owned our own equipment, services, features, products, & equipment in the home. A XX/XX/XXXX door to door sales person also spoke with us prior to the installation again there was no discussion or information provided tell us of a contract or commitment requirement. On XX/XX/XXXX a XXXX technician arrived at our home to establish a home monitoring connection to XXXX, we asked about the cost to buy other sensors etc and he advised there was no cost and was included with our services. Again we never agreed to any contract, additional cost, or services. After the XXXX technician completed his work on our system he presented a several forms for us to confirm his work and if where satisfied in addition there was another form he said he had to sign to complete the home monitoring process and said there was an agreement for 60 months and he wanted my social security number, I said no and I did not want to provide this information she thats fine this is all circumstantial and he could take a divers license number and he said we could cancel at any time and would no formal agreement. This agent of XXXX therefore misrepresented, made several mistakes on our paper work, we where under duress due to numerous circumstances, he pressed us with undue influence. Several vitiating factors which void any and all contractual obligation or agreement was during the sales inactions the XXXX agents said any contract can be canceled at any time without penalty. Furthermore the proposed null and void agreement fails to include all disclosures required by FCCPA. Plus XXXX misrepresents their the offer for free installation of alarm equipment was " a limited time offer that needed to be taken advantage of immediately '' or misrepresents that " there were increased incidents of crime in the area '' where XXXX attempted to solicit business ; or in a face-to-face transaction misrepresents that they are " conducting a special sales promotion, a special offer limited to a few persons '' or " authorized to place the offered goods or services in a limited number of homes. XXXX failed to in our face-to-face transaction to disclose in writing before we entered into any purchase contract and before they took any credit card number or accepts any payment from you any important detail ( s ) XXXX also misrepresented the cost of the goods or services offered or promoted by them, or fail to disclose material costs payable by me ( the consumer ), e.g., XXXX asserts that equipment is " FREE '' with {$99.00} installation fee, and that the agreed-upon ( auto-renewing ) contract is for a term of monitoring services of that equipment, then later states you owe for the cost of said equipment. Now they have attempted to send us to collections for what they feel is monies owed of XXXX.

I've been attempting to get this collection agency to properly report my debt for over 3 years. It has finally reached its time to be deleted off of my credit report and the statute of limitations has run out on the debt. This company keeps putting any date they want as the original date of collection or date opened. The date of collection or first date or delinquency should have been around XX/XX/XXXX. The original debtor was XXXX XXXX, they then sent it to collections with XXXX XXXX ( acct # XXXX ) and in XX/XX/XXXX it was deleted from my credit file under that collectors name. However, it had already apparently been to another collection agency called Perfection Collection, they then increased the amount owed and changed the date of original delinquency/placed for collection date. Over the course of several months that have turned into years Perfection Collection kept reinserting/re-aging my original date. In XX/XX/XXXX I disputed again, and the file was removed as it was supposed to be and it was either time for deletion automatically due to it expiring or because the reporting was erroneous. Then on Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX I got an alert on all of my credit bureau reports that a new collection was added ; it was this same collection again but under a new LLC name that is the same person, address,, etc of Perfection Collection but he has sold the file to himself and other LLC name and he is still trying to state the original collection date as XX/XX/XXXX in an ILLEGAL attempt to re age my file. I opened a dispute with XXXX who I do not believe even looked at my information to see the company keeps just changing names and dates on my credit report every few months to fit whatever need so it can put it back on my report or re age it so it can stay longer.I am again asking for help and that someone address this company and their illegal practices, I would like to even move forward with filing a complaint and pursing my rights to sue for damages and receive the funds from the fines they should be imposed. I have more than enough supporting documentation to show these illegal re-aging practices this company is doing. They are committing clear violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and violating statute of limitations. I am also submitting the original letters I have been sending over the last few years. If I can not get this resolved I will be seeking counsel and then I will be seeking attorney fees, statutory damages and actual damages. This is my third attempt with submitting a complaint to you all with no resolution for different reasons ... FYI ... XXXX XXXX XXXX is Perfection Collection, they are the same company, same owner, same address, same phone number, etc. I have checked with the secretary of state. XXXX keeps allowing them to add/remove/adjust a re aged alleged debt and they are not doing their job in the dispute review to see that the dates on the original debt with [ XXXX XXXX then sent to XXXX XXXX and then the to Perfection Collection and now to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( who is also Perfection Collection ) ] has met its statute of limitations as of XXXX.

Three men came to our home to tell us about their alarm system. They saw we currently had XXXX alarm system and explained that our alarm system was not the same caliber as theirs. They said that their alarm was better because it was wireless and a robber couldn't cut the cables and disable our alarm. They said some pitch about their system including an energy saving program that could be managed through the telephone app. They promised we would save money while using their alarm system package. So we decided to purchase the equipment which was roughly {$1000.00} I put it on a credit card. In the first month XXXX had to come back to our home 2x to reinstall because the first time they set up their thermostat monitors they switched our AC with the Heater the second time our ac was still not functioning properly. Imagine thinking you had the AC ready and cool before coming home from a long day of work and come home to a home in the summer time over 90 degrees hot. The third time we had to actually hire a professional it was in the winter time when XXXX connected our heat they placed the coils on our AC/Heater unit on emergency heat which caused us a {$1200.00} electric bill. XXXX XXXX response to their mistake, which is what the professional company we hired to correct the issue told us, it was in fact XXXX XXXX error. XXXXXXXX XXXX response when we presented these claims was to credit our alarm bill {$30.00} dollars even-though our electric bill was over {$800.00} our usual expense thanks to their error. The contract we signed was for a 36 months however the contract explained that we were supposed to save money and that our home would be monitored 24 hours a day. 1 ) We did not save money and their response to our electric bill was not at all correcting their mistake considering I had to pay a professional to fix their error an additional {$120.00}. 2 ) The alarm kept disabling and at times would not be monitoring and we would get those alerts on our phone app. 3. ) several times the alarm would enable on its own and warned us that our system was not performing adequate surveillance. When our electric bill kept coming up higher than it normally would we stopped paying XXXX because they did not hold their end of the contract with an energy saving plan and monitoring our home 24 hours a day. We called XXXX to cancel our contract even offered to give back all the equipment back on a system we don't use let alone need, their immediate response was no and instead reported a {$2100.00} debt to our credit report for both myself and my spouse. We have spoken to other individuals that have had the same issues with XXXX. Not to mention a class action lawsuit recently settled with XXXX for the false claims to lure clients to their false claims making XXXX seem subpar. We were victims to this luring of false advertisement and in addition have now been suffering over a 3 years with negative impact to our credit report.

I obtained XXXX, the product was defective. I tried calling them to fix it and they never did. I cancelled services with them and sent them their equipment back through XXXX. I did it within 1-2 months after obtained services from them because of their refusal to fix their defective product. The system would not allow AC to work properly or would not control things properly either. -In XXXX , California the average temperature during the summer is around the 100-110 degrees, so I needed a functional AC for my family. XXXX never sent me a bill with a balance after I sent them their equipment back, I called them in several times asking for a balance corrected after I sent the equipment, but they were not able to tell me a balance, even any amount of money. Back on XX/XX/2018, I discovered a new collection on my XXXX credit report, a collection agency named Perfection Collection is reporting XXXX account for {$2100.00} dollars. It called my attention because I never received an initial notice or call from this debt collector, also the balance doesnt make sense to me, I really dont know from were the {$2100.00} dollars come from, if it is for a service or for equipment. On XX/XX/XXXX I called them and asked for an Itemization letter because -even today- I dont know the reason of the {$2100.00} dollars in collection. During the call the representative was unable to confirm my mailing address and that makes me think they never send me an Initial collection notice or something similar. The representative asked me for an email and she would send me an email with an Itemization statement. I wait for the email until XX/XX/XXXX, I called again but no body answer my call and I called for several days, -During this time I thought this debt collector was a scam or a fake company- They answer my call on XX/XX/XXXX and they told me they didnt have a record of my Itemization Statement on XX/XX/XXXX, but this time the representative said they sent me validation letter twice by XXXX, thing that I didnt receive. Later I received an email from XXXX XXXX from Perfection Collection, the email had an attachment, it was a picture of the original contract with XXXX, But I wasnt included and itemization statement. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX to ask again for an Itemization statement because I need an explanation of the amount in collection, then they suppose to send me a detail Itemization statement, but they again sent a photo of the original contract with XXXX. At this point I believe this collection agency doesnt have an Itemization statement and they cant explain the reason of the bill. Also, they never sent me, and Initial collection notice and they got my mailing address at the time of my first call to them.

XX/XX/2018-I submitted two letters to XXXX regarding an account that recently showed up on my report in which I am disputing. I have no knowledge of this account and asked that the physically/manually verify this account information. The results of their investigation are simply, " verified '' however, i have asked that multiple items of this debt be verified because it does not belong to me. I have also found that the accounts in question Perfect Collection, based in Utah and XXXX, with an address in Ohio and Florid may not be licensed to collect in the state of Florida. I am in the process of submitting a complaint to the FTC Department. XX/XX/2018-I received results of the investigation simply stating the following, " the company that reported the information has certified to XXXX/XXXX that the information is accurate. This item was not changed as a result of our processing of your dispute. " XX/XX/2018-I sent a certified/return receipt letter to XXXX formally asking that they provide actual EVIDENCE that I have a legal obligation to pay and ask that they provide detals of the monies they say I owe as well as provide me with a copy of the judgment they received, to identify the original creditor, copy of an agreement, as well as a copy of their license to collect in my state. I received noticed from them XX/XX/2018 simply providing a list of accounts with balances and no further details of what I had originally requested. XX/XX/2018-XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 I have also sent a re investigation request into the accounts that XXXX/XXXX/XXXX claim that they have verified via certified mail. XX/XX/XXXX-I sent a letter to the collection agency Perfect Collection asking that they provide me with the full details of what they claim I owe, license information, original creditor information, payment history, proof they are licensed to collect in my State which I have found they aren't, as well as a cease and desist letter since they have attempted to contact me at my place of work as well as social media platforms on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018. I provided they with my findings and a copy of the Florida Statute they are in violation of. XX/XX/2017-XXXX sent notice that the accounts in question had been removed due to unable to verify, however, XXXX is refusing to comply. I have been disputing the debt with XXXX since last year and XXXX is the only company refusing to comply and be in line with the other companies that have already deleted this information that could not be verified. In turn they are repeatedly sending me basic information as to how they verified with the third party these debt belonging to be which is a clear violation of my rights.

In XX/XX/XXXX, I was notified with an alert on my credit report for a collection from a company named XXXX. I previously found out a few weeks prior that I was a victim of identity theft from individuals putting an apartment in my name. I reached out to the number provided on the account to which I reached the debt collector perfection collection. I explained what occurred and the individual over the phone told me I needed to send my police report which I did the next day. Fast forward two months I receive a threatening phone call about being sued by this company after receiving earlier threatening calls from a gentleman leaving vulgar voicemails which I still have saved. I reached out to the number to which the gentleman stated I was in collections and needed to pay the debt, I explained to him it was fraud and even the credit bureaus have determined it to be fraudulent as well as previous collection agencies perfection collection sold this account to obtain the debt. He stated my file was still in collections and hung up. I received a phone call from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, I explained to them that I was a victim of identity theft sent over my police report, called back the following day to follow up and the manager told me she was going to close down the file and send it back to perfection collection to close down since it was reported as fraudulent, prior to this call to XXXX XXXX I called perfection collection since XXXX directly stated I needed to speak with them since they could not remove my name from the file since it was submitted to collections, I spoke with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX in which he stated I owed this debt if it was my debt or not I needed to pay the debt, he began going on about I needed to find some way to handle it and hung up the phone. I have spoken to XXXX directly ( XXXX XXXX ) who has been trying to figure out how to get my name removed from this file to no avail. As of XX/XX/XXXX I get a call from a family member telling me that someone has been reaching out to HIS friend about my debt, someone I have no relations to or even know personally. They have been calling this individuals phone nonstop with the last phone call coming in at XXXX est past legal operating business hours. This company perfection collection has been harassing individuals that have no relation or contact to me about a debt that has been blatantly proven to be identity theft. I have the police reports, the FTC reports, credit bureau reports and still this company does not adhere to documentation that proves it is not my debt.

My credit score dropped by 35 points in XX/XX/2018 and when I checked my credit report it was because of Perfection Collection. They say I owe a debt of {$3700.00} to XXXX for an alarm system that I never ordered. It was a family member that ordered it. I was never told about this debt in time to dispute it and also, it is not my debt. I filed a dispute with the credit reporting agency ( XXXX XXXX ) and I also have a problem with how they handled the situation. All XXXX XXXX did was contact Perfection and asked if the debt was legitimate. Of course Perfection said it was legitimate, surprise surprise, so it was left on my credit report ( what type of shoddy investigation work is that? ). I then called Perfection myself and asked them to show me proof that I signed a contract with them. They sent me a typed document with my signature XXXX at the bottom but, it was in the area for correspondence only. In other words, they wanted to let their affiliates contact me so they had to ask my permission. No problem but, it was for correspondence only and not for signing the contract as the owner. They have the real owners email address and they were sending correspondence to him as they should, not me. All of the paper work is XXXX up. The wrong names are in the wrong places and it is costing me. Also, we have a completley different document from what they showed me and our document is hand written. Actually it is not even a contract, it is statement of the services they will provide. We do not have a copy of a signed contract because there wasn't one. I do not know why but, the sales person wrote mine and my mothers name, ( who, was not even present ) in as the customerr ( I still don't know where he got my mothers name from ). He wrote in the name of my brother, the actual owner, underneath our names as the owner which is correct. The contract they sent me has my name typed on it ( not printed by my hand ) and a signature that is not mine ( that is fraud, forgery ). It seems they typed my name and then changed the font to something a little more fancy but it is still not my signature and it does not look like my signature, which I can prove. It has been 11 months since this hit my credit report ( XX/XX/2018 ) and I am still fighting with this. I need someone that can get this removed. The documents I am up loading come with an attached instruction sheet that explains what I am talking about. I thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. XXXX XXXX

In XX/XX/XXXX, I retrieved a copy of my credit report and noticed that Perfection Collection had reported negative information on my credit reports. I have never did any business nor signed a contract with this company. This company did not and to date has not sent me any type of correspondence, including a dunning letter to inform me that they were attempting to collect a debt. Hence, they negligently placed this account entry on my reports and I was not allowed to dispute the validity of this debt with them prior to its insertion on my reports. This is a blatant violation of my consumer rights. To that end, I sent XXXX ( as reporting on XXXX ) and Perfection Collection ( as reporting on XXXX ) a dispute letter that was sent certified with a return receipt. To date, XXXX ( see attached ) stated that the account was purchased by Perfection Collection in XX/XX/XXXX. Perfection made no effort to communicate with me informing me that they were attempting to collect an alleged debt. To date, this company has not responded to my request for them to validate the account. I specifically requested the following information from them : An agreement that states your authority to collect on this alleged debt ; Agreement with signature of the alleged debtor wherein he/she agreed to pay the creditor Alleged account number Date this alleged debt became payable Original delinquency date Verification that this debt was assigned or sold to collector Complete accounting of alleged debt Name and address of the bonding agent for collection agency in case legal action becomes necessary Perfection responded to my dispute ( this is the first time I received any correspondence from this collection agency ) by offering a settlement ; yet, they did not provide any documentation to substantiate the amount they are arbitrarily reporting. Too, the correspondence I received from them lacked veracity. It is merely reflected on their letterhead with no other documents. It is obvious that Perfection has nothing to validate what they are negligently reporting on my credit reports. These entries reflected on all 3 bureaus are inaccurate, unverifiable and erroneous. Given the fact that this company opted to not provide any documentation to support/substantiate what they were reporting as well as NEVER sending a dunning letter and allowing me 30 days to respond to dispute the validity of their claim, mandates that these entries be DELETED IMMEDIATELY FROM MY CREDIT REPORTS!

I was unaware of Perfection Collection having my account of debt they became owners of my debt XX/XX/XXXX. They never mailed me any notices about my debt prior to reporting me to the Credit Bureau on XX/XX/XXXX. Once it was reported to my credit report I became aware that this company Perfection collection had it. This account had been with 2 other debt collectors ( XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ) and i was made aware of those because i was notified in the mail by them in the balance amount of {$3800.00}. Once I saw the company Perfection had my debt on my credit report with a balance of {$4400.00}. Which my debit also was reported on my mothers credit report as well as a joint owner which was false. my mother and I went round and round with Perfection Collection and the original debt holder XXXX that the account was wrong my mom was fraudulently added onto my account. Charges are in the process for the fraud against XXXX and I have an email from the original debt holder that my moms name is to be removed from the account and reported to be fixed on the credit report. That still hasn't been done but during all of this I sent a written dispute to Perfection collection that I didn't agree with the balance owed and to please send my written documentation showing my debt and how the balance has be increased for justification. After several attempts via writing and calls to get this documentation to me for my dispute they have refused to provide the evidence. The ding on my credit will continue to be on my report which I would like to resolve but don't feel comfortable to settle my debt with Perfection Collection till I have the documentation of my debt and the balance increase in writing to me in the mail for my files and justification. I feel this company is violating my consumer rights. Perfection Collection keeps trying to justify their actions by saying they are offering me a 25 % discount of my debt but how am I to know that I am being treated fairly if they will not provide me any documents to justify it all. Perfection also said that i would find the additional charge in my original contract with XXXX i read the contract let them know i couldn't find such wording of additional charges if account goes to collection and any $ amounts. I've asked for them to show me where it is in the contract but have not been shown.

On XX/XX/XXXX I closed my XXXX Acct and it was paid in full. I've explained this to 2 other collection companies, as well as a lawfirm after receiving information from them by mail about an alleged collection of {$340.00} they too were trying to collect from me. I sent these prior collection businesses the information regarding my XXXX Acct being closed and paid in full. Nothing more was heard of from these debt collections about this alleged outstanding debt until XX/XX/XXXX, when I received an email from XXXX advising that there was a new Perfection Collection account added to my XXXX credit report. I knew nothing about this company nor their alleged {$940.00} collection which they claim I owed them since XX/XX/XXXX. I filed a complaint with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX stating that I knew nothing about this collection agency or their collection account against me since I had NEVER been contacted by Perfection Collection so I really had no knowledge of them or their alleged {$940.00} debt claim against me. Because I was able to get Perfection Collections information off of my XXXX credit report I XXXX the company 's name and located a match which directed me to their webpage. On their webpage, under contact us, I was able to send them a message on XX/XX/XXXX. In my message to Perfection Collections I informed them that my XXXX account was closed and paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX. I put them on notice to take their illegally reported collection off of my credit report immediately or I would take other action against them. I told them that I thought it was illegal for them to file a negative report to the credit bureaus without any attempt to notify or contact me. To make this easier for them to see that I had already handled this debt and previous attempts to collect on it, I sent them a copy of the email correspondence to and from XXXX and to and from the lawyer that also tried to collect on this debt in XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I have not received any type of correspondence from Perfection Collection nor have they attempted to contact me. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed another dispute with XXXX regarding Perfection Collection 's illegally reporting a negative report against my credit claiming I owe them {$940.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX stemming from an alleged outstanding debt they claim I owe XXXX.

In XXXX an Associate came over to my home here in Florida from XXXX XXXX XXXX. We installed a home security system in our home. There were no problems in the beginning and all bills were always satisfied and paid in a timely manner. In XXXX a major storm hit our area and lighting struck our home a burned XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX system. We made numerous phone calls to have the system repaired and or replaced but nobody ever came to make any repairs or replace the system. We called XXXX many times and appointments were supposed to had been scheduled but nobody would show. In XXXX and XXXX, XXXX. XXXX I checked my credit report and saw the XXXX had sold my account to a third party collection agency called Perfection Collection. I gave Perfection Collection and call to explain to them that I didn't owe this bill and that XXXX broke their contract by having someone come over to the home to fix and or replace the system do to a major storm and a lighting strike burning the system. The collection agent then stated, '' We don't care nor want to hear what you have to state, you must pay this bill today, or contact XXXX to figure this mess out with them ''. I again tried to communicate with Perfection Collection, but this was not successful. I then called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX to explain to them what has happened again, but the only option they gave to me was to call Perfection Collection because the account had been sold to them and there was nothing anyone could further assist in. I do not owe Perfection Collection or XXXX the total amount of {$1.00}, XXXX for services that were never provided. The amount owed began after the major storm occured and after the lighting strike the home and burned the unit this was not any amount owed before this time. I'm asking for this to be removed from my credit report because XXXX and XXXX have removed this from my credit report, however, Perfection Collection thought they could try again with XXXX and know this is back on my credit when it was resolved with the other two credit agencies. I did report this matter with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX but they do not want to resolve this issue. I have been also getting over thirty phone calls per day from Perfection Collection on my business work phone. I'm asking for this matter to be resolved.

Background : My identity was unknowingly stolen by a previous roommate who lived in the same household sometime around XXXX. It just came to my attention that on XX/XX/XXXX the individual set up a 5 year contract with XXXX for a home alarm account with both of our names as the account holders ( maybe for co-sign purposes? ). This location of the residence where this alarm account was opened is on the opposite side of the country. The individual made payments for 1 year and 8 months before the account went delinquent. The account then went to collections a little while later, and landed in the hands of the debt collector named Perfection Collection around XX/XX/XXXX. When I was contacted by the debt collector, I let them know that I did not set up this account, nor have I ever lived in the state it was setup in, nor on that side of the United States. I let them know that the individual 's name on the account was a previous roommate, and that he must've stolen my identity 15+ years ago. They responded to my deny of the account by saying they already talked to the other individual and he said that I stole his information to setup the account, and then implied that they are only looking for repayment, not looking to get me in trouble for setting up the account under his name ; which isn't even true in the first place. I continued to get harassing calls for payment. When I asked how to fix the problem, they did not provide any assistance ; their only interest was to get repayment for the account, and did not take into consideration that the account was fraudulently setup in my name. I had to make several calls to get info on how to take this off my credit report, because they were not helping. When I finally reached someone, they were hesitant to give me the information about the account, as well as hesitant about telling me steps I need to get it resolved. I filed a police report with my local police, and found more information on steps to take from IdentityTheft.gov on my own ; however, when I call them now they no longer answer the phone, nor do they return my voicemails. The delinquent account is still on my credit report, and seems as though they are only wanting to work with me if I were to just pay it off this fraudulent account.

My compliant is that XXXX XXXX XXXX and Perfect Collection is trying to collect on the same debt at the same time. The two companies have the same address as well which makes me believe these two companies or the same company. I never received all the documentation I requested from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received copy of a sign contract that was not signed by me! That is not my signature. They are in violation of UCC 5-301 FAILURE TO ENDORSE OR SIGN A PRESENTMENT and FAILURE TO SHOW PROPER AUTHORITY TO ACT ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER. XXXX XXXX XXXX fraudulent account is reporting on XXXX credit files as Perfection Collection. Duplicate reporting of the same debt constitutes inaccurate credit reporting which is a violation of the FCRA. Perfection Collection is also required to notify me within five days of re-inserting previously deleted item immediately. I do NOT have a contract with Perfect Collection nor XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have also sent several notices stating that their offer to contract is denied as well as ask for documentation showing that account # XXXX is my account. I have yet to receive any documentation from, XXXX XXXX XXXX. Upon searching my records account # XXXX was first place with Perfection Collection the account was disputed and deleted off my credit report. I did not receive a letter of reinsertion of the account to my credit file nor did I receive a dunning letter from Perfection Collection. The account was then purchased by, XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018. After carefully researching I noticed that XXXX XXXX XXXX has the same address ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT ) as Perfection Collection had. And I also found out through research that they are reporting this account as Perfection Collection as well as XXXX XXXX XXXX. You can not do this under two different agencies. I have attached documentation of this reporting. I also see from the so-called contract that they sent out, they are attempting to collect, on an expired debt based on Mississippi statute of limitation laws. Perfection Collection has been known to be fraudulent and since XXXX XXXX XXXX is also known as Perfection Collection, they are fraudulent as well!! I think I have provided enough evidence to show you that they have committed many violations of the FCRA.

First, have someone more knowledgeable respond to my complaint. I have re submitted my initial complaint for that very reason! I asked that they provide validity ... .who ever responded didnt read the complaint or reach out for more information from XXXX . If I have to seek legal action, I will as this seems like it was fraudulently placed on my credit report. The attached response is the most unprofessional one that I have ever seen. This is not resolved and I am not done until it is. Do not place items on consumers credit reports if you cant properly verify the debt is even valid as Its against the law to do otherwise. If they did their research they would see that I did cancel services due to XXXX dispatching police to the incorrect residence on more than one occasion. I have XXXX XXXX children, which I also notified them of when I informed them that I was canceling the service. If this doesnt get corrected ASAP I will contact an attorney with the FTC to have the entire company investigated. I belive that this debt stemmed from a XXXX security system that I had installed into my home in XX/XX/2015 after my parents ( who were also customers ) referred me to them. Less than 4 months into having the security system my alarm was triggered and the police were dispatched. Although this was a false trigger, I was livid to realize that due to inaccurate information that XXXX had in their database, they sent the police to MY PARENTS HOUSE, instead of mine. I immediately voiced my concerns over this issue but it continued to happen even though the " updated '' their systems every time this happened so I cancelled service the same year of having it installed. It was a meaningless security system if they continued to dispatch emergency assistance to the wrong address of call the incorrect numbers. I am not sure why this is being reported on my credit report but it needs to be removed asap. I did not receive and form of written communication from the debt collector that is reporting this false information, if i had I definitely would have disputed this. Both my parents and I have been more than dissatisfied with the " service '' that XXXX provided.

In XXXX of XXXX my husband and I received the first and only phone call from a company called Perfection Collection I believe may be located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, UT XXXX .... I found this address while researching the company. A man named XXXX XXXX called and left a message on our home phone which we still have the recording so this is what he said word for word, he said he was calling regarding sealed documentation that we needed to sign that day, he said he was coming to our home in one hour and that we were to answer the door and except the documents voluntarily and if he could not locate us at our address he would stop by one of our family members homes to make sure he would cover all boundaries. This is the phone number he left on our answering machine .... XXXX XXXX .... he said either we call or he would be on his way. The debt was false, years ago we had an alarm system and from what I 've learned this company somehow got our information and tried to scam us with a false debt claiming it was from our former alarm company. We never received any type of correspondence from them other than the one phone call. I did call back and was told XXXX XXXX was not available so the person I spoke to said we owed {$1200.00} telling me that although we had no longer been in a contract with the alarm company due to the 5 year contract expiring which we fulfilled the 5 year contract and this was now two years later .... that the company automatically had rolled us into a new contract .... theres no such thing which I argued. Then I called a second time after doing some research on this collection company and learned this is how they operate, its a scam, so now the second call to them I 'm told there is no such person named XXXX XXXX and this time the person hung up on me after I confronted them. We hoped that was the end. They never called us again and never at all from the beginning did we receive anything in the mail so we do n't have any documentation to submit, what they did do is put collection notices on both myself and my husbands credit reports, this time for a different amount of {$880.00} which is strongly hurting our credit.

On XX/XX/2019, I received an email from XXXX that a new addresss was being associated with my social security. I immediately viewed my credit report and noticed a delinquent account that had gone to collections. The collection company is Perfection Collection and they bought the collection from XXXX. XXXX is a home security company. My credit report shows an address in XXXX, GA. I have never lived in XXXX. On XX/XX/2019, I called XXXX and XXXX and requested freezes and fraud prevention bc of the new address and the account. I even filed a police report with the belief that this was fraud. I also contacted the collection company. In speaking with them, they advised me that XXXX had installed a home security system at the home with the address now being used on my social. The account had been opened several years ago but recently went unpaid. This made no sense. The collection company advised me that they would delete the account from my credit report given that it was not me and that I did not open the account. XXXX immediately removed the account from my credit report. However, XXXX has refused to remove the account. I have attempted to dispute not only the charge but the new address with them on multiple occasions. Following my conversation with Perfection Collection, I did a search of the property address and the owner of the property is XXXX XXXX XXXX. My name is XXXX XXXX. Further searching I was able to determine that she is a XXXX year old, XXXX XXXX woman. I am a XXXX year old, XXXX woman. Clearly, the collection agency made a mistake with the social security numbers given how close our names are. The tax record from XXXX also shows the owner of the property as XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have submitted proof of my driver 's license, the property record and the email from the collection company telling me the account has been deleted yet they keep denying my dispute. My credit score has gone from an XXXX to a XXXX on XXXX. I have spent countless hours on the phone etc trying to get this rectified to no avail.

A company by the name of Perfection Collection is claiming that I owe them {$780.00} from XX/XX/XXXX. I haven't had anything negative on my credit in many yrs. I wasnt sure what it was but upon further investigation it's an unpaid XXXX debt from XX/XX/XXXXfrom when my alarm wasn't working. It shouldn't say XX/XX/XXXX. And I challenged it with XXXX XXXX of the situation. But the date is not my complaint its the amount of the debt and how this company lies and bullies consumers to get them to pay. The way they scheme is very dishonest. They added {$600.00} to the debt. The XXXX balance was {$180.00}. I have documentation proving it. I even called XXXX to verify the write-off amount of {$180.00}. I then called Perfection again to confront them and they lied to me. They stated they didnt add anything towards the debt that they purchased from XXXX. So she was basically blaming them. But once I brought up that I already spoken to them she changed her tune. At one point she claimed I spoke to the wrong XXXX dept. But I actually had called them twice to verify the amount before calling Perfection back. Now Perfection Collection LLC is saying in my original contract with XXXX it states due to nonpayment they can automatically add 12 more months of payments onto the outstanding balance if they want. Which is a lie bc I read the contract. It's also against the law to lie to me and to change the debt amount. I know it's a made up amount bc I was paying {$39.00}. Which x12=XXXX. I was locked in on an old rate. The regular rate is XXXX so times that by 12 and it equals {$600.00}. So that proves they added this to the debt and I bet they do it all the time to other people. They will not work with me at all and just constntly cuss me out. The XXXX Report Number I filed to dispute is XXXX The Date it was generated was XX/XX/XXXX. Please help me with these crooks. Thanks. Their address is Perfection Collection XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX I found that I was the victim of identity theft and I did not recognize the debt on my credit report. Upon researching my credit report and speaking with Perfection Collection and XXXX, I was able to find out a person that shares my same name had a debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX. A person with my same name in XXXX, XXXX did not pay {$2400.00} ; XXXX charged off the debt to a third party collector. The third party collector was Perfection Collection LLC. At that time, Perfection Collection LLC erroneously applied my social security number to the debt. I only share the same name as the responsible party. Since XX/XX/XXXX I have been in contact with XXXX and Perfection Collection LLC without a satisfactory resolution of this incorrect debt. I did not sign up for that account, that debt is not mine, and I am not legally liable for the debt. However, because of Perfection Collection LLCs mistake and XXXX inability to fix the originating account ; I have had a negative credit impact. It has negatively affected my credit score and my ability to make credit decisions. I have also tried to supply sufficient evidence including my driver 's license and employment verification that this is not my debt. Neither company has been able to resolve the situation. Perfection Collection LLC sent me a copy of the XXXX contract. It is clear that it is not my signature. This has not been solved by either XXXX or from Perfection Collection LLC. Both of these companies are responsible for having wrongly applied this debt to my credit report, and not sufficiently fixing it. I have asked both companies for a letter stating that this is false so I can submit it my credit reports. They have failed to do so. Third party collection company Perfection Collection LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX phone : XXXX and the originating creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX phone XXXX.

I received a collections letter in the mail dated XX/XX/2019 from the company, Perfection Collection regarding a joint account in my name with the original creditor, XXXX for which I had no knowledge. I called Perfection Collections to make them aware that this was not my account nor was I ever aware of such account and I had not signed any contract for this account nor authorized anyone to sign on my behalf. I then called and emailed XXXX on XX/XX/2019 disputing the account, requesting a copy of the contract, and asking that it be voided and the account removed form my credit report. I also mailed certified letters to both XXXX and Perfection Collections requesting the same in XXXX. XXXX responded to my email to their risk department on XX/XX/2019 via phone and email stating that they had researched my issue and that my name would be removed from the account and that the collections would stop and any credit inquiry done would be removed within 30-90 days. Perfection Collection responded to my letter in XXXX by re-sending their initial collections letter and the original contract with XXXX. I sent a 2nd letter via certified mail Perfection Collection in XXXX, 2019 and included the contract, my signature, the email from XXXX, and explained that the contract falsely listed my name and a relative 's name but has none of my personal information ( email address, physical address, phone number, etc. ) and that the signature on the contract was not mine and it did not spell my name correctly. I once again asked that they remove the account from my credit report immediately. As of XX/XX/2019 they are still reporting this account on my credit report, I am still receiving calls from them attempting to collect and threatening judgement and I have not received a response to my second letter regarding the obviously fraudulent contract.

Perfection Collections has an account on my credit report for an alleged debt thru XXXX. I have spent well over 30 days trying to get documents to validate this debt, and they are not cooperating. I sent a certified letter to them, and they have not responded with the documents I asked for, and refuse to delete the account from my credit report. The account is shown with an amount due of {$1900.00}. I have asked for something in writing from XXXX showing the charges that equal that amount they are reporting on my credit, and XXXX states they do not have that. He has since sent me a pretty generic statement showing a list of invoices, with a list of payments, and none of that shows an amount due, the original amount, etc.. The contract thru XXXX does NOT mention that I agree to pay a 3rd party, or any assignees, it shows several areas scratched over, and changed, and Ive certainly never had a contract with Perfection Collections. When I spoke with the supervisor at the collection agency he stated that since they bought the account they bought the contract as well, and thats why I owe them. I told him that was against the law, you can not substitute yourself into a contract, and he states thats perfectly legal, even tho subrogation is against the law with debt collection- The right of subrogation does not exist for a stranger to the transaction XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, section XXXX. This has been an ongoing battle, XXXX keeps telling me that they have validated the debt, and they wont delete the account, even tho I have proven that they are in violation. I am located in Texas, and the laws in Texas are very specific about what the collection agencies have to provide, and Perfection Collections is not providing that information and they are violating my rights.

I have never signed or established a contract with XXXX. My wife, who I was separated from at the time, set up a XXXX contract for a home she purchased in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received email from XXXX stating that my account was 60 days past due. I immediately forwarded it to my wife and asked her to find out why this was being sent to me. XX/XX/XXXX, My wife contacted XXXX via phone and tried to fix the miscommunication. She was told that I was the account holder, and I was would have to fill out paperwork. Later that day, I received an email from XXXX XXXX providing me with a name removal memo and an Addendum Agreement. Being the businesswoman that my wife is, she was offended because she knew I was not the account owner nor did she want me to be. A couple days later, my wife and I both got on the phone with Vivint to question how my name was on the account in the first place. We then requested to receive a copy of the contract agreement. Again, we knew it was impossible for me to have signed or be on a contract agreement. On that phone call, we were told they could not find a copy of our service agreement and requested that we find a copy of our agreement and send it to them. My wife asked the young man on the phone, " If people can't trust you to keep up with my service agreement, then how can I trust you to monitor their home? This is unsatisfactory. Find the contract and email it to ... '' That was the last time either of us spoke to or heard from anyone at XXXX. I have since disputed the bill on my credit report to no avail. I appealed to the debt with the debt collector through the appeals process, and have not been able to get this removed from my credit report.

This account was set up for a business in which I was the XXXX of back in XX/XX/XXXX. We set up tp sell XXXX XXXX security. The account was for the business, not for a personal use, and I was never making any payments regarding this account. The only way that I know it having any of my information was saying I was the person to contact if there was a breach at our business, ( as this was a security system ) It was all taken care of within the business. The following year, XX/XX/XXXX I quit my management position at this job, and parted ways with the business. Later that year, I had received calls regarding this account, and I advised the collectors that this account was not mine, and I was not in charge of payments or anything regarding the account. They continued to harass me throughout the rest of XX/XX/XXXX into XX/XX/XXXX when the debt was purchased by Perfection Collections. I advised to them when they had called to me that I again, was not the person to call regarding this account, and that I would get them the information regarding the business owners, and their responsibility to the payments within the account. They told me that I was not telling the truth, and I told them to please stop contacting me. I called my local police department on some assistance, they advised me that I shouldn't worry about it, since it wasn't my account. I waited and now I am trying to purchase a home, and my credit as been hit because of this issue. I submitted a dispute with XX/XX/XXXX twice now, and they are not changing this, and when I call the collections agency, they tell me that they will not accept this and I need to pay on the account. I feel cornered and that no one will help me.

I spoke with XXXX XXXX of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and received a quote for XXXX service. It was stated as a 2 year contract and I verbally agreed. I was not present for the installation and have never signed any documentation with XXXX. Because of the difference in prices from competitors I chose to stop using XXXX XXXX service. I was then sent a bill and told I owed XXXX the balance of an 6 year contract that I had signed. That was in XXXX and it was the first time I had heard anything about a 6 year contract. There was a dispute but XXXX could not provide any documentation that I had signed that stated this 6 year contract. XXXX then said they agreed and my account was canceled and I did not owe them anything. XXXX XXXX with XXXX said on XX/XX/XXXX that I had a {$0.00} balance and even sent me a quote for a new contract at a discounted rate if I would stay with XXXX service. I have the emails. Today XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Perfection Collection stating that I now owe {$1500.00} and I had to pay before XXXX to avoid legal action. I tried to call XXXX but they won't speak to me. I called Perfection Collection and the lady told me that she knew what kind of person I am and I just didn't want to pay the debt. I explained that I paid my service fees and didn't owe XXXX anything but she told me multiple times " call XXXX '' even though she knows they won't talk to me, when I told her I would file a complaint with the CFPB she laughed and told me " good luck ''. She kept saying that she had a document signed by me as the contract and then provided a document that was obviously not signed by me, not even my name is signed.

The original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or they also go by XXXX . I have been making payments to XXXX XXXX collection agency since XXXX XXXX . Another collection agency reached out to me a few weeks ago saying they had my account from XXXX and asked that i setup a payment arrangement. I refused and let them know that I was already making payments for this debt to another agency. Now perfection collection has placed this debt in the amount of XXXX on my XXXX XXXX credit report and i can not possibly owe two different collection agencies two different amounts of money for the same original creditor. XXXX said that my original balance before making payments was approximately {$700.00} now Perfection collection has reported a balance of {$1500.00}. I have tried conatcting ADT multiple times to get information about the the collections agency they sold the account to and I am never able to get anything that mirrors the agencies that have contacted me. The only thing that XXXX was able to provide was that in XXXX the account was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and that in XXXX it was sent to XXXX ( XXXX ) I have tried calling these numbers and get nowhere. XXXX XXXX XXXX who says that they work for perfection collection has made the most recent contact with me about what has been reported to my credit. This debt collection agency has never called, emailed, mailed or made any attempt to reach me regarding this debt. I only discovered it due to a credit report after they had been reporting it for more than a year. Upon discovering the derogatory mark, I reached out to the company to explain that the contract they were attempting to collect on was my Father 's of the same name who passed away in XXXX of 2014. I don't even know how they got my social security number. It is troubling that they would take the time to find my social and report me to a credit reporting agency, but they won't take the time to send an email, make a call or lick a stamp and send an envelope! They say they have a signed agreement that proves I agreed to the contract and payments with XXXX and that I provided XXXX my social security number, yet they have failed after several attempts to provide this evidence. I have NEVER given XXXX my social security number nor did I agree to any charges. My Father may have, but I did not and it is for this reason they fail after several requests to provide this evidence. If I signed this contract and provided my social security number, than the burden of proof lies with them. For this reason alone they should drop the matter and remove all derogatory marks from my credit reports. They should take a serious look at their lazy tactics as well. Call, email or mail someone you're trying to collect a debt from. Hurting their credit until they pay is more along the lines of extortion than it is an honest attempt to collect a debt, whether a legitimate debt or not. In this case, it is not.

In the spring of 2018, I began receiving numerous harassing phone calls from Perfection Collection Services in regards to a debt I allegedly owed. The calls always had someone saying they were on the way to my house to deliver important documents to me or my attorney. They even contacted my elderly mother in this same way. No one ever showed up to deliver any such documents, so this was clearly a tactic to intimidate me. When I finally talked to someone from Perfection Collection Services in regards to these calls, I asked for an accounting of the amount they claimed I owed. The woman on the phone very rudely told me that she was not a " customer service department '' and could not give me that information. I asked again saying I needed to verify that the amount was correct, and she refused and said " we will see you in court! '' and hung up on me. The harassing calls continued. On XX/XX/2018, I sent a validation request letter ( copy attached ) to Perfection Collection pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) requesting information that could help me understand the amount they claimed I owed. All I received from them was a copy of the first page of my contract with their customer, XXXX. I received none of the other information I requested and am legally entitled to under the FDCPA, especially a complete accounting of the debt. To this day, I have not received the requested information. As a result, I now have TWO invalidated collection amounts of over {$1600.00} affecting my credit report in violation of the FDCPA.

I entered into a contract in XX/XX/XXXX for 42 months at the amount of {$60.00} for a home security system through XXXX. Based on this, the contract would have ended in XX/XX/XXXX. Although I was very unhappy with the service, I fulfilled the 42 month contract and paid on time every month until the end of the contract date. I personally contacted XXXX by phone to remind them that my contract officially ended and that I no longer wanted their service. They informed me that I had to cancel through a notarized letter to headquarters in order to cancel it. I called a total of five times reminding them that the contract has ended and that I no longer needed their service at this point. They continued to bill be until the bill had reached over {$600.00} and then they disconnected the service. I recently checked my credit report which states that I now owe {$900.00}. I sent the collection company a debt validation letter asking for additional information like total payment history/amount paid, which would reflect that I paid until the end of the contract. They did not state how they arrived at the total amount due, just provided me with the contract, which states everything I have been saying. As result, I should not be responsible for the delinquent amount because I fulfilled the contract that I signed and agreed to. I ask that I be relieved from this debt and it should be removed from my credit reports. I will attach a copy of validation letter, letter for demand of payment by Perfection Collections and copy of contract.

I check my credit report every month for accuracy. In XX/XX/XXXX there was a new item from a collection agency attached to XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1700.00}. We had just recently installed our first system with them and were current on our bill so I knew this was an error. I called XXXX and they said it was at an address in our neighborhood under my name. I filled out a fraud report for them and returned it within a day. I heard nothing for a month and called them to find out they had turned it over to another company, XXXX. I called XXXX and they didn't have the file. I started the whole process over again which includes having papers notarized. In XX/XX/XXXX still nothing else had been done. I got a copy of the original contract with the installation address and attached the county records for this address with the owners name. The system had been installed XX/XX/XXXX and they had moved in on XX/XX/XXXX. I attached our records also proving we had lived here since XX/XX/XXXX. No response yet. I called yesterday and still nothing. I made a dispute with XXXX and they decided to add the fraudulent address to my credit report and are sending information to it now! We signed up for XXXX service in XX/XX/XXXX. Strange we never received a phone call, letter or bill on this account until we signed up for their service. They say my name is on the contract. I am sending a copy of the contract and the two county forms I sent to them.Hopefully you can straighten this out as they seem totally unable to help us.

Perfection collection of Utah continues to dispense adverse information to XXXX/ XXXX . It is my understanding that Perfection collection purchases accounts from XXXX XXXX XXXX. We felt that XXXX back in XX/XX/2015 was supposed to activate our account and provide alarm services to us at approximately $ XXXX/ month. Since I have had equipment existing in the house from XXXX, we informed them that all we needed was a key pad change. After sending out a tech to install the key pad, I was astounded when I received a bill for over XXXX for equipment! Despite my attempt to correct this misinformation, we have not had success. Recently, perfection collection in XXXX, Utah purchased accounts from XXXX and now claims I must deal with them directly, despite several attempts to resolve this issue that has negatively impacted my credit. To date, we have not been successful. We essentially had no service with XXXX and we felt that they reneged on the contract by not telling us before- hand what the price of installation will be. We are asking you to review the above and tell us if you can be of help have Perfection Collection remove the adverse information that negatively impacts my credit report. The credit card company, XXXX XXXX investigated the charge and later removed for lack of evidence to support the claim of > {$4000.00}. XXXX reputation precedes that as the internet shows numerous customers who were XXXX! Working with other credit companies was not helpful.

On XX/XX/XXXX I approved of an XXXX security system installation at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I never received any bills for this account ( XXXX ) but decided to mail payments beginning in XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached ). These checks were endorsed by XXXX but never applied to my account thus it appeared as if I had an unpaid balance. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from XXXX ( see attached ) that my account would be interrupted/cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX. Even though I mailed another payment in XX/XX/XXXX, this payment also was not applied to my account leading to my account being cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX, and then transferred to collections in XX/XX/XXXX. I made several complaints to attorney generals but there was no resolve on XXXX 's part. I am disputing the XXXX collections on my credit report as my account was actually paid in full as of XX/XX/XXXX but the payments were never applied to my account so I should not be held responsible for XXXX 's error, nor should I continue to be held responsible for Perfection Collection 's invalid collection fee. Lastly, I never received a final statement within 30 days of the service discontinuance. In early XXXX I received a notification regarding the collection and called Perfection Collection and they said the XXXX was a cancellation fee. I contacted them again on XX/XX/XXXX and they are now saying the XXXX is for payment of the account but again XXXX cancelled my account so why should I be responsible to pay for a cancelled account

After a careful review of my credit report, I noticed that a company, Perfection Collection ( " Perfection '' ) had placed an account in collection through XXXX. I called Perfection and was informed that they represented XXXX the original company in which the account was opened. Perfection also indicated that the account was opened in my name by XXXX in XX/XX/2016. I informed them that I never opened the account and their reporting is causing severe harm to my credit score. Perfection indicated that they were not removing anything and that I needed to call XXXX. I called XXXX was was told to email a copy of the police report to their account receivables. I have sent the police report to the account receivables, but I believe that XXXX was negligent in the whole process. They opened an account without any account verification. As such, I now have an fraudulent account on my credit report. I am a business owner and my credit means everything. In light of the foregoing, I believe that XXXX and Perfection should be liable for the errors. As a resident of XXXX, I never received any notification and/or any forms of correspondence regarding this account. How could I have known about something I never consented to do. As such, I am respectfully requesting for a full investigation with both companies. How could it result into an account being placed on my account that was never verified. XXXX lack of diligence has caused substantial harm to me.

I sign ed into a one year contract ( with my husband ) with a security system company knowing that I was moving in a year. I specifically told the sale sman that. After refusal to give me a copy of the contract and being told I would be emailed it I assumed all was alright.. After a year of having the service and letting the company know that I would be moving, thanking them for their service and that I would not be renewing my contract with them they told me that I had sig ned a 5 yr co ntract initially and that I needed to pay ove r 4,000 to get out of the contract. They were rude and demanding. They told me to look at the contract and I told them I never received a contract. They then sent me the contract and I saw where the salesman had forged the contract and circled the 5 years part of the contract. I informed them that I never would 've ever signed anything that was over a year and that he forged it after he left the house which is why he did n't leave me a copy. She even said that the salesreps are known for that. The contract was signed on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . I was contacted XXXX that a collection company was trying to collect the XXXX and threatening me with a lawsuit and telling me that they would never stop trying to collect. I have tried to get the collection removed from the credit bureaus by disputing the item to no avail. It is keeping me from purchasing a home loan at this point.

After 3 years of having and paying on time my account is fine and paid by bank draft. The salesman forged my name on a lady I referred to them contract and was confirmed by 5 emp loyees at the company. It was sold to perfection collection and they will not accept my explanation. Was told by XXXX XXXX at perfection collection that if I had the company call and confirm this he would remove me from collection. The security company removed my name from contract and we called on a 3 w ay phone call with a security representative the employee at perfection said they bought the account and would need more and that I should file a forgery report with local police. The security company representative asked if he would send a letter stating that would say what he had just discussed with us and get my name off the collection report. Perfection collection employee took my email information and hung up on m y 3 way call. I still do n't have the email and do n't think they will My name is XXXX XXXX and security company is XXXX and XXXX employee that was on the 3 way cal trying to help me was XXXX . XXXX has acknowledged the forgery b y 5 differ ent employees. I feel they will handle the salesperson for the forgery and appreciate there willingness to help get this cleared from my record Perfection Collection will not listen to me or XXXX and do n't do what they tell you to do.

XX/XX/XXXX - First time I used XXXX XXXX, I wanted to check my credit score. Everything on my report looks great but I noticed by credit score was down from a year ago. Which I had no idea how? I have never missed any payment and I'm very financially sound. XXXX XXXX stated on my report that a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX had an outstanding balance for {$1000.00}. I have never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX. No one notified me that i had any debt, but they are able to take a hit on my credit score? I called this company and they stated they bought my debt from a security company called XXXX. We ended our contract with XXXX in XXXX. This one man shop is a total scam. Extremely rude.. How is this legal? I have no idea how it is fair or accurate to report this on my account 3 years later with zero notification and zero justification. We still have our letter from XXXX canceling our account because we moved from that location and were not taking the services with us. We also filed a report on BBB for false practices. in XXXX we sent another letter to XXXX of cancelation as the new homeowner received threatening calls. This collection agency is based in Utah where XXXX is based out of. There are thousand of bad reviews and false practices on this company. Several states have went into litigation with XXXX. I am filling a complaint on XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX.

This is a complaint from XXXX XXXX against Perfection Collection for Perfection Collections failure to provide requested information for the debt alleged. Perfection Collection has been reporting an active account on Consumer 's credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX, consumer ( through legal counsel ) responded with a written request for documentation, including the following : a. Signed copy of the original contact ( s ) ; b. Any notice ( s ) of assignment or receipt of sale of the debt alleged ; c. Any notice ( s ) of delinquency ; d. Ledgers/spreadsheets/accounting statements showing how the debt alleged was accrued ( including any fees and interest charges added to this debt ) ; e. A copy of your debt collection rights license ; f. Proof that you are licensed to collect this debt in Arizona ; and g. Any other documentation which tends to show validity. On XX/XX/XXXX, Creditor responded with documentation that is insufficient for showing validity of this debt and the ownership of this debt by Perfection Collection. Creditor 's failure to respond to a consumer 's good faith request for documentation makes it impossible for the consumer to make an informed decision regarding the debt alleged. This is a violation of USC 1692, and other federal acts which require lenders and debt collectors to act in good faith and refrain from unfair deceptive or abusive acts.

On XX/XX/XXXX I obtained a copy of my XXXX credit report and noticed for the first time that " Perfection Collections '' had reported a delinquent collection account on behalf of XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX account has at all times been current. I contacted XXXX the same day, who indicated my account was not in collections. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX at Perfection collections via e-mail and phone ( XXXX ) who said the debt was from XXXX and XXXX tried to tell me XXXX opened a new account for me and this was for a different account at the same address. My XXXX account has never changed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX collections department. XXXX did an investigation. OnXX/XX/XXXXXXXX called me and said " XXXX NEVER placed my account in collections and further that Perfection Collections is NOT among the debt collection agencies used by XXXX ''. XXXX then contacted Perfection Collections to resolve the issue, but kept getting the Perfection Collections voicemail. To date, I have never received any written notice of debt or even a phone call from Perfection collections. I would never have known without my credit report. My score has dropped by over 80 points because of this erroneous debt being reported by Perfection Collections.

I was also a victim of Identity Fraud I didn't not know this account was on my report and when I challenged the debt the company provided ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES that was not made by me they also did not update my credit report stating the account was under dispute within 30 days Upon further investigation, I have retained new copies of my credit reports, and noticed that you did not furnish the credit bureaus with the required disclosure, within the period required by law. You are required by federal law to place a notice of dispute on my account within 30 days of my dispute, which you signed for on XX/XX/2020. I have retained a copy of your signature and date of receipt, as well as a time-stamped copy of my credit reports, showing that you have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) and/or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 807 ( 8 ) by not placing the disclosure within the required 30-day period. Be aware that I am making a final goodwill attempt to have you clear up this matter. The listed item is entirely inaccurate and incomplete, and represents a very serious error in your reporting. Also this company is reporting the account under multiple Business names Perfection Collection and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Perfection Collections has placed an account on my credit report. I have never heard of this company, never received any type of notice giving me 30 days to dispute the information before it was placed on my credit report. This company is a debt buyer that has bought a charged off account, and I have no legal obligation to pay them anything, I have no contract with this company, and do not owe the original creditor anything. I have asked for validation showing that I am legally bound to this company for the alleged debt, and they have not sent anything as requested via certified letter that was mailed to this company. I am demanding that this account be deleted from my credit reports. This is a clear violation of my rights under FCRA, and I am obtaining legal representation. I am in the process of buying a home, already obtained pre-approval for a loan, and now that this account has been placed on my credit report, we will have difficulty obtaining final approval, and we already have money invested, so I will be filing a lawsuit, if this account isnt removed from my credit reports, seeking damages for the money I will be losing because of this account being placed on my credit report, preventing me from now getting the mortgage loan.

I was falsely accused of a debt by the collection agency Perfection Collection, and they entered damaging information to the major credit bureaus, lowering my credit score. The debt was for a security system supposedly installed by XXXX in a daycare center located in XXXX, Kentucky. I am not the person named by XXXX in their purchase agreement. I have never done any business with XXXX, and I do not know and have never met XXXX XXXX ( or XXXX as appears on the Perfection Collection statement ). XXXX XXXX ( or XXXX ) has never lived at or been to my home address in XXXX where I have lived for XXXX years. I have never been to XXXX, Kentucky, and I have never had any affiliation whatsoever with the daycare center. I have never signed a contract with XXXX for any purpose. That is not my signature on the attached purchase agreement. I would like to point out that I always write, not print my signature, and I always include my middle initial. In addition, none of the writing on the purchase agreement is mine. I have corresponded with Perfection Collection several times to inform them that I am not the person responsible for this debt, but they have not yet ceased collection activity and deleted the XXXX account from the credit bureaus.

A collection agency called my wife multiple times asking for me. She thought they were spam calls and ignored. I finally pulled my credit reports on XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and saw collection alerts for the amount of {$2800.00} on XXXX and XXXX. No such alert on XXXX. The collection company was listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX on the XXXX report and Perfection Collection LLC on the XXXX report. I telephoned the company on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with an agent named XXXX. I was told the debt amount was for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX installed at an address in XXXX IL. I live in XXXX TN and have never lived in or been to XXXX IL. I was told the account was jointly owned with a woman named XXXX XXXX, who I do not know. I asked the agent to email me the contract. I never received it. I disputed the claim on XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and on XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I received investigation results from both companies that the disputed information was verified as accurate. I have never purchased anything from XXXX and did not order this home security system. I have never received anything in the mail from them or the debt collection agency. I have contacted a lawyer and will pursue legal measures if I can't resolve this dispute through other means.

XXXX placed an account for collection, with XXXX ( Perfect Collection ). I have never done business with XXXX and have never signed or co signed any documents with XXXX. I received a letter from XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. The letter listed my name first and the name of my son below mine. My son passed away last XXXX, so I cant ask him about this debt. I spoke with my daughter in law and she told me XXXX asked for the name and address of the closest relative. My son gave them my information, along with his father in laws information. His in laws have not received any letter from XXXX. I called XXXX and told them this was not my debt. I asked to ask XXXX to produce any document with my signature, or any recording by me authorizing this debt. I disputed this debt with XXXX and XXXX without a positive resolution. They have not produced any documents as requested. XXXX solution to this is to sue my son for fraud. He is not here to defend himself, and I question XXXX business practices. Why would they hold me responsible for a debt I never initiated or authorized. Everyone gives me a standard answer without using common sense or without investigation. Please help. I dont know where else to turn to. My credit is being effected. Thank you.

I received a call on my cell phone around XXXX XXXX XXXX from someone asking for my husband XXXX XXXX. Her name is XXXX XXXX and she is a representative on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. She was very rude and would not tell me what the call was about and stated that it was something regarding my husband, I asked what it was about and she refused to tell me, she was very rude and unprofessional so she ended the call because she tried to claim I was being rude to her, not true, all I was asking for was information. So she proceeded to leave a very nasty and rude voicemail on my phone stating that she would be at our house within the hour to serve my husband with papers and that someone better be here to verify that he is signing the papers and that if he wasn't home she would then go to his place of work and ask to speak to someone in the hr office about his whereabouts and that if she could not get a hold of him then basically it was a refusal to sign the paperwork and then it would be referred back to the office which is XXXX XXXX XXXX. What she did is illegal she can not act as a legal representative on this company without proof that she is legally allowed to do so and she would not provide me any further information.

I received a voicemail message from Perfection Collection stating " this is a call regarding field documentation I have here for you that requires your signature so you need to be available. Make sure you have a photo ID and a witness present. If you're not going to be available today you must get in contact with the filing office directly to avoid any further action being taken. Their number is XXXX. Make yourself available. You have been notified and I will see you shortly. '' This same message was also left on the voicemails of my stepfather and ex-mother in law. The message to my stepfather also stated that if I did not get in touch with the filing office immediately it would be considered a " mark against me. '' They called me in a panic because the message implied it was a law enforcement agency. I have never been left a voicemail by this collection agency before, nor have I received anything in the mail regarding the debt. This was my first communication with them. When I called them back to find out who this was and what it was about, they refused to send me anything in writing. I spoke to Ms. XXXX and was told if I didn't pay right then, I was refusing to cooperate and I better have a XXXX good attorney.

Said company responded to my request by sending me a contract that list my name a customer ( co-borrower? ) but in fact does not have my signature on any of the spaces provided for customer signature, in fact the only person whose signature is recorded on the contract ( on two separate signature lines ) is XXXX XXXX ( customer ) and the sales person ( XXXX XXXX. ) I feel this is not verification that I entered into a contract neither with XXXX or Perfection Collection and because this is unverified by law they are required to remove this information from my credit report they have yet to do that, in fact they have added another collection to my reports (XX/XX/XXXX ) from the same company ( XXXX ) for a larger amount.

In response to XXXX. I have SEVERAL other XXXX accounts and XXXX XXXX XXXX is ONLY an installer of the security equipment, they do not provide monitoring services ( at least in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX they didn't ). Once the installation is complete the monitoring services are provided through XXXX monitoring sites, as XXXX XXXX XXXX does not offer monitoring services. That is why the only bill I received for the account in dispute came from XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, and not XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that is why in XX/XX/XXXX the service interruption notice came from XXXX and not XXXX XXXX XXXX. That contract that you have is not legit ... that's not my signature, as you will see when I feel it is needed to show my other contacts, and tthe monitoring contracts that I possess have XXXX logos and not XXXX XXXX XXXX. The only XXXX XXXX XXXX logo I have is for the purchase and installation of the security system. I will proceed to fight this because there is a scam somewhere. We never received any written notifications, phone calls, or messages from a company named Perfection Collections before they showed up on our credit report on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX as an outstanding debt. After some research, we found out that they are a debt collector for XXXX, a security service we used back in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, for a house we owned in XXXX XXXX, NV. We discontinued service by not signing an extended service agreement after our two-year service agreement ended and because they never responded to an intruder in the house and hired a new security company to provide services to the home. We between the years XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, we have written several letters and e-mails to XXXX inquiring as to when they will clear out our account of the XXXX dollar ( {$55.00} ) security fee they charged us for what they state was something that was due to us causing the alarm to sound. However, they are responsible for providing security services and did not do that in a timely manner thus leading to another security company responding and our neighbors responding to the intruder along with the local XXXX XXXX Metro Police Department.

XX/XX/XXXX the XXXX account was taken over by another party. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill with a past due balance. I contacted XXXX whom then stated it was an error on there system and that I was not responsible for the balanace due to it belonging to the party that took over the account. XX/XX/XXXX I had a collections placed on my credit report for XXXX. I contacted XXXX first they told me the account wasnt properly taken over. Then when proved it was due to other persons name on account, I was told I didnt cancel my name from account. Again proved wrong due to account being taken over, I was told that the person didnt properly take the account over. I stated that the Individual has been paying thats not true, then I was told o well the account was written off XX/XX/XXXX so they didnt take over properly but there is nothing we can do because its already been sold to collection agency. I asked for supervisor and was refused to be allowed to speak with supervisors. Its a lie because the person that took over the account had been paying and once she canceled her account, then XXXX placed it in collections a month after under my name.

Original debt was from the security company XXXX, I ordered a security system for my home and was promised a set rate and equipment, i did not receive the proper rate or equipment as well as other perks promised. I then canceled after that and spoke to numerous individuals at XXXX and was told that I don't owe anything. I later found out they put my account into collections, I have spoken to XXXX numerous times to no avail. The debt was then handed over to Perfect Collections, I have also tried to resolve the issue with them to no avail. Perfect collections open the account XX/XX/2017 and just updated the collection. My credit score has dropped over 90 points and this is affecting my credit and purchasing ability tremendously. They are reporting that owe {$1700.00}, I have received many harassing calls indicating that my assets will be seized due to this collection. XXXX has a history of this kind of practice and something needs to be done, they frequently use bait and switch tactics and need to be held accountable for misleading consumers and then turning accounts over to collections once you call them out on what they did not deliver!

i check my credit report because i needed a good and well somehow the company that " claim '' i " owe '' certain amount is showing on my credit i proceed to dispute the account since I do n't have any clues as to how or why I 'm been ding on my credit. the response i get from the credit bureau ( XXXX ) is that the report will remain. i certainly do n't agree with that due the lack of authenticity from the company that is making the claim. I 'm not willing to pay for something I did not ask for there is not way i have this company in my archives as part of my monthly billings not now not in the past. I need and want this company to stop fraudulently claiming is me or assuming is me when is not. This need to stop and my credit restore they think that they can intimidate us but I believe in the system. i believed they are in violation of many FCRA rules but since is really hard to know all the rules with out an attorney this is the reason I 'm recurring to my closest resources. I even think the FTC my have some say on this. but i will refer to the correct channel whichever is recommended.

I disputed the account in XXXX and XXXX to the Credit Bureau and to the 2nd collection agency that purchased the account. To this date Perfection collection has never provided a signed original contract validating the Debt. Last year in XXXX the account was removed from my credit report and placed back on in XXXX of XXXX. The company keeps claiming they validated the account but as the consumer requesting a copy of the original contract with my original signature which I am entitled, perfection collection continues to ignore my request for this document. Recently I just requested information from the listed original creditor which is listed as XXXX XXXX, they provided a letter stating the original delinquency date was XX/XX/XXXX the date of the first missed payment which is about 7yrs ago, also I was provided a copy of a letter from the original 3rd party collections agency which is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX so even if this debt were to be validated with an original contract with my original signature this should be off or coming off of my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX

A claim was filed on the original creditor XXXX XXXX for breach of contract, the vendor agreed to settle the dispute for {$240.00} per the resolution terms through the XXXX. Perfection Collections provided no written notice that this was referred to their offices. I learned of the issue because of credit file alert on XXXX/XXXX/16. I contacted the debit collection agency to try and get information. I was accused of ignoring the debit and not paying my bills. The operator XXXX XXXX was extremely unprofessional and he pushed my buttons. I was ultimately able to learn that debit was reported for {$1800.00}, not the original settlement amount of {$240.00} to end the contract. I also learned that that XXXX XXXX provided them with an incorrect contact information. This was the original reason for the breach of contract with XXXX XXXX. This is not the first time that this company has referred this issue to a debt collection agency after settling the debit through the claim with XXXX. I will obtain a copy of the filing with XXXX ... this can be supplied at a later date.

I submitted dispute in writing with request for details as to what it was I owed for. The notice was submitted within the 30 day period from when the letter was received. I received nothing from the company, then the collection showed up on my credit report. When I contacted the company, they advised me they moved suite numbers at the same address and never got my letter disputing. I asked for proof in the initial letter I mailed requesting validation of the alleged debt and never received anything. I verbally asked for proof once again a month later when I called and still have yet to receive any kind of documentation for proof that I owe this money. I was told this was for a security system I purchased in XXXX, 10 years ago ( which I never did ) They said this was a new account they acquired from a company who is no longer in business. XXXX XXXX was extremely unhelpful and rude and said that I owed the money.

This is my third and final time requesting validity of this debt. Please note that I had previously filed complaint no.s XXXX and XXXX. I never received anything via mail or phone call from This company. I just keep getting a XXXX response that there were 42 months remaining in my contact which is not true at all, especially since I cancelled services less than a year into having XXXX as law enforcement showed up at the wrong address on several occasions when the alarm was triggered. What baffles me the most about this company is the fact they they either a ) dont know or b ) dont care that the consumer complaints and company responses are being monitored by fraud investigators and attorneys. I have sent drivers license and letters from apartment I actually lived at during the time they say I acquired debt, also sent emails from myself and collection company to XXXX and they still wont remove. This Perfection collection said the only way this could be removed is for me to file a police report and charge someone with fraud. The debt is from 2016 and just now coming up. I also just filed bankruptcy and this debt was added right after filing. Obviously if this was really my debt I would of filed it under my bankruptcy. But it is not mine. Perfection Collection is trying to collect at least {$2600.00} for a XXXX XXXX XXXX company. I know the legal process to even put this on my credit report was not followed.

The credit bureaus and Perfection Collection alike have stated that the entry of this account on my credit report is verified. I beg to differ. In my most recent credit report ( see attached ), the following errors are present : Two different open dates are reflected : XXXX reflects XXXX & XXXX reflects XXXX. XXXX reflects terms of 1 month ; however, I have never opened an account nor have I ever signed a contract with this company. XXXX reports that there is negative payment history XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX of 2018 ; yet XXXX reports no payment history. These inaccuracies alone are grounds for this entry to be removed. The FCRA states that entries reflected on my credit report should be 100 % accurate ; these entries are NOT. Additionally, Perfection NEVER sent a dunning letter to inform me that they were attempting to collect on this alleged debt. By not doing so, this forfeited my right to dispute the validity of this account -- -of which is my consumer right. Delete this entry immediately from my credit reports.

Another factor is I'm XXXX years old and XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX ... It turned out I had to stay at a VA hospital and wasn't home ... I contacted 'Perfection Collection ' via phone XXXX on Tues. XXXX XX/XX/2019 to make them aware of a law suit pending with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( I believe them to be one of the same owners ). I also explained that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was in breach of the contract ( XXXX did NOT call police ) and Perfection Collection stated that I would still have to pay them ( because they supposely bought the debt from XXXX ). I asked Perfection Collection to forward me a copy of contract that states I still pay when XXXX is in BREACH of their contractual agreement. As of to date Perfection Collection has this BOGUS debt reporting on my credit reports and to think this company was trying to practice " perfection '' These 2 companies ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and Perfection Collection ) are working together ( BOTH are located in XXXX, UT ) and scamming people out of money. I also have found that XXXX XXXX XXXX has had many businesses that have been shut down ( all indications are there and they are NOT good )

I have never any relationship with the following company : PERFECTION COLLECTION LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX At a former resident there was a alarm service monitoring contract with a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. The contract with this company expired and I thought that would be the end of business with them. It was not, they sent several people to the house stating that they had to upgrade the equipment in order to continue to " monitor '' the house. Needless to say the equipment was never installed. I was in constant communication requesting that the services be disconnected permanently, staying on the phone for hours only for the representative to tell me that they could not verify my information. This debt is invalid simply because monitoring services could not be conducted on the equipment installed at my old house. Can either the original company or debt collection company provide an proof showing alarm activity and that they were able to provide monitoring services?

I paid a collection account, in XXXX of 2015, with XXXX that originated from XXXX Home Security. This debt was paid as a result of a settlement agreement between myself and XXXX. However, the problem today is that this same account, which has been paid, is now reporting on my credit report with Perfection Collection ( PC ). I contacted this company and spoke with a XXXX and explained to him that I had already paid this debt with XXXX. I was rudely told by XXXX they received ( purchased ) this debt approximately six months ago, the debt would remain if I did n't pay the debt, XXXX was a fraud and they would make sure this debt continued to report on my credit reports until it was paid. I have provided documentation to this company from XXXX, which reflects the same account number that they have, as well as, the same original creditor and the debt being settled, but PC refuses to remove this debt, despite the fact doing so violates my rights under the Fair Debt Credit Reporting Act.

This company is misrepresenting the time this debt first defaulted and became collectable in an effort to continue collection efforts on a debt that is no longer collectable. After months of phones calls and repeated efforts to get any information about this debt, the company finally cooperated on XX/XX/XXXX and revealed a true date of XX/XX/XXXX, but have a different date listed on my credit report. This company is breaking the law by falsifying the debt date on my credit report. This company knew the debt was no longer collectable so they refused to give me any information about the debt. They purchased the debt from another company, but also would not give me the name of the company, making it impossible for me to track the debt 's origin. In a separate complaint this company agreed to remove this account from my credit report. It was simply removed from my XXXX credit report, but added to XXXX. I am now submitting a second complaint to ask for it to be removed from XXXX.

This is a response to complaint number XXXX ... I didn't sign a contract with XXXX, I signed a contract with XXXX so not sure why I would owe a company money that I didn't sign a monitoring contract with. Also I NEVER received a bill from XXXXs and XXXX is the company that interrupted my service in XX/XX/17 for non payment when all along they were endorsing my checks ... so there is confusion somewhere and I should not be held responsible for XXXX 's mishaps. Who is XXXX??? MY CONTRACT CLEARLY SAYS I SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH XXXX NOT XXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE PAYMENTS WENT TO THE COMPANY I SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH : XXXX!!!! AGAIN, I am attaching the one and only XXXX contract I signed, the service interruption notice, and the payments I made with the company I signed a contract with : XXXX!!! Again, explain who XXXX is as I did not have an alarm monitoring contract with any other provider than XXXX. So there is clearly an ERROR somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a notification from XXXX card that there was a change in my credit score. My score went down over 50 points. Went to the XXXX website and there is a collections account with Perfection Collections for over {$2600.00}. I immediately called them. The lady XXXX asked if I ever lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I stated no, my ex husband lived there. She stated she was going to email me a paper and she would request the original paperwork from XXXX XXXX, it would take 24 hours. I received the email and immediately called her back. Asking why my name was spelled wrong. She said that is how the name was spelt with XXXX XXXX. I told her that is how his new wife spells her name. That I would never spell my name wrong. I have never heard back from them. I have left voicemail, sent 3 emails now, sent a letter through the mail. I tried to dispute it with XXXX, but Perfection collection said it was valid. The paperwork I have seen says the debt was charged off in XX/XX/2010.

I have sent Identity Theft Reports, a Police Report, two forms of identification, a copy of " Notice To Furnishers of Information Obligation : Obligation of Furnishers Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FRCA ), 15 U.S.C.1687-1681y information and letters to the collection company ( Perfect Collection LL ) and nothing has been done to remove this negative information from my credit report for XXXX. Their claim is that I owe {$4300.00} to a company name XXXX, who sold this debt to Perfect Collection LL. This company has refused to acknowledge that the information they have clearly shows it is not my signature ( or name ) and I did not authorize whatever that company says service was given on my behalf, and I have not authorized anyone to use my information. I also will be reaching out to an attorney if this doesn't get the matter resolved. All the information listed above was sent to the company on XX/XX/2019, and I should have had a response by XX/XX/2019.

I had service with XXXX XXXX and I stopped paying because I wanted to cancel my service and they were not willing to cancel my service. So, before XXXX I stopped paying. I did not pay any service to XXXX XXXX ; so, basically that would be called the delinquency date. I found out that I had a collection with a delinquency date of XXXX , XXXX which I dispute since that delinquency is not correct because I stopped paying before XXXX . Perfection Collection responded by " XXXX , The delinquency date we were provided when we purchased the account is XX/XX/XXXX . We are willing to settle this account for 50 % of the balance owed. Once settled, we will delete this account from the credit bureaus in it 's entirety. '' So basically they are saying that they purchased the account and the delinquency date is XX/XX/XXXX . So they say they are not responsible for providing a false delinquency date. This is not acceptable

This does not indicate that I owe XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX a dime. This alarm system was for one year and I canceled when my house was broken into with this company was monitoring. I have wrote numerous letters and contacted both XXXX and XXXX to get this matter resolved after all these years being removed from the credit bureau report this company with all types of violations decides to place a debit on my report that I don't owe. I have been very unsuccesful with getting any results with either XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. None of these companies have or can provide me with documentation that I owe. I have contact XXXX XXXX as well for assitance and I have spent so much money sending documentation back and fourth with no results.

After getting my annual credit reports, I discovered that I had a collection on my account. I found out what the original company was, an alarm monitoring system. I contacted them, they did not have my information. They said that they had put this into collection. The service was for an XXXX address. I live in XXXX XXXX and do not use any service of this type. I called the Perfection Collection Agency on XX/XX/XXXX and informed them this was not my debt. They said nothing. I have since disputed this on my credit reports and added a consumer statement, this is fraud. I am also sending a certified letter to this collection company for documentation that this is valid. It, of course, is not as I never have used these services. I have never lived or received mail anywhere but XXXX XXXX in over 35 years. Never have received any mailings or telephone calls and the account was opened at the agency on XX/XX/XXXX.

Hello, The collection account submitted by XXXX XXXX XXXX/Perfection Collection Collections in the amount of {$1100.00} is not my account, it belonged to my ex husband. I requested this company to validate this debt and the company sent me information reflecting that the account was delinquent in XX/XX/XXXX and written off in XX/XX/XXXX, NO signed contract exists for this account. The Customer billing history submitted reflects the first delinquent balance in XX/XX/XXXX and the account being written off in XXXX, not XXXX as they are reporting on my file. With the dates on the billing history it appears it is at least XXXX years old. They also are unable to provide a signed contract to validate this debt is in fact mine. This seems to be false representation and they are trying to use scare tactics to get me to pay an extremely out dated account that belonged to my ex spouse.

This company "Perfection Collection” XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX is has been reporting an alleged debt on my credit file, that is inaccurate and unenforceable. They are a third-party purchaser I notified them in writing on XX/XX/XXXX to remove the information. They are still reporting the debt as open contract that begun in XX/XX/XXXX, when in fact this contract begun XX/XX/XXXX (see attached). In Georgia, written contracts have a statute of limitations period of 6 years from the time in which the debt becomes due and payable and the period runs from the date of last payment (OCGA 9-3-24). The Fair Credit Reporting Act, or FCRA states that most negative items must be removed from your credit report seven years from the first date of delinquency. This account is (14) years old there's hasn't been any payments made on this account since XX/XX/XXXX.

This complaint involves XXXX XXXX and their collection agency Perfect Collection. I signed up for XXXX 's services in XXXX 2017. The agreement was that this was a month to month contract, no obligations, cancel at any time. I paid for the equipment installed IN CASH. I later had to cancel their services due to faulty equipment, horrible customer service, and for being sold a subpar security system. I gave the company proper written notice and they acknowledged the termination of the agreement and the fact that I was under no further financial obligation. I just ran my credit report only to find out that the account was placed in collection as of XXXX 2017???? This is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. How can this happen? I would like to request that someone look into their practices as they are fraudulent and overall their services are a complete scam.

My daughter is getting phone calls from the debt collector threatening that they are coming to my house to arrest me. I disputed the charges on my XXXX Credit Report. I have lived in Washington state for the past 15. - 20 years and this debt is for a home alarm service in a completely different state. Supposedly someone by the name of XXXX signed a contract with me but I have never seen the contract. I was never made aware of this debt until I saw it on my credit report. I dont feel that XXXX did anything to verify the validity of this debt when I submitted a dispute to them online. XXXX replied to say that the company said it is true so it is. The fact is that the debt does. It belong to me and I want it removed from my credit report.

The debt was originally created by an alarm system company called XXXX. I signed up with them while I in XXXX, NC because I am a XXXX. I had to leave the area and I no longer needed their services. They made the process incredibly hard, but I did everything they asked including sending in a letter stating I wanted to end my contract. I found out a few months afterwards that they were continuing to charge my account, and the only way I could get them to stop was to cut off and change my debit card. Spoke with them again and that did nothing, they continued to charge my account until it reached XXXX dollars that I did not authorize. They sold the collection to perfection collection who refuses to remove the debt from my credit report despite numerous fillings through experian stating the debt was illegally charged to my account.

I do not owe this " security '' company, XXXX, anything. Our service contract with them ended many years ago. They have failed to submit any paperwork to me to back up their claim that I owe them anything, after numerous requests, because there is none. Re quests to speak with management are declined. They just keep sending this off to different collection agencies, to whom I am sick of reiterating these facts. Then they just sell it to another company, hoping I guess, that i will just give into their extortion. They have now fraudulently placed a collection notice on my credit report. How can they do this? I have contacted the FTC, Department of consumer affairs, and next will be the State Attorney General 's office. I also believe I may take this to small claims court, and am considering joining a class action suit.

I denied owing any monies to them, their employer, or the original creditor and requested validation. This was immediately met with a defensive attitude, i gave them my address, where they sent their first piece of correspondence to me, this letter ( which i am submitting as proof ) contained no validation of the debt. nor did it tell me my rights of disputing it. regardless, i disputed it by certified mail ( the letter is also being submitted ). this company is refusing to respond or delete this from my credit report.

In XXXX XXXX, I was contacted by a XXXX XXXX salesperson at my door, advertising " free '' home monitoring equipment to those with qualifying credit willing to act now. I signed a XXXX contract under these false pretenses to initiate service, then attempted to cancel the service over a year later. Now, XXXX years after the attempted cancellation, Perfection Collection is attempting to collect {$3500.00} on behalf of XXXX, more than the cost of service over the entirety of the contract. The salesperson was misleading both in that the equipment was free, as well as my ability to cancel and that the offer was " for a limited time ''. I was also never provided in writing the full cost of the services, including the costs associated with early termination. The contract should be considered void under these circumstances.

I found out from the company that they purchased my account from another collection agency who settled my account. After speaking to a representative through the BBB, I was informed by Perfection that they never communicated with me by phone or letter, but placed a collection on my account which violated my rights. I never had any signed document with them neither do that have a written document or agreement with me. I am asking assistance to have them remove their name from my credit report ( were my rights have been violated ) and not to place anything or any information pertaining to my name or personal information. This company is misrepresenting the time this debt first defaulted and become collectable in an effort to continue collection efforts on a debt that is no longer collectable.

XXXX and Perfection Collection have attached my social security number to someone else 's debt. They installed an alarm system in a house in TN for an individual with a similar name as mine. A name that I have not used in over 20 years due to divorce and remarriage and I live in NC, and have never owned property in TN. I filed XXXX disputes with transunion and perfection collection still claims this is my debt. I am filing a police report on monday and filed a dispute with XXXX today. I requested a copy of the original sales contract to verify where they have obtained my social security number but I have not received a copy as of yet. They have illegally accessed my social because I have not applied for any service or loan with them.

I do not recognize this account, and have submitted over and over for proof that I indeed consented to this account. Not once, has anyone taken into consideration what I am saying and have verified indeed that this is wrongfully reported onto my consumer report. I would like to be provided proof I consented to this account via FCRA section 609 and 605 as well as the accuracy of this inquiry via FCRA section 623. If you have no irrefutable evidence, proof that I in fact was the one seeking to obtain a line of credit and the creditor had a permissible purpose to in fact and legally obtain my credit file information after a positive identity verification, immediately of any or one, I would like it removed immediately.

I was notified via my XXXX account on XX/XX/2018, that there was an account in collections. Through further investigation i.e. me calling the collection agency ( PERFECTION COLLECTION ) as well as the company ( XXXX ), I found out that the individual who opened the account is a family member who stole my identity. I've sent both companies copies of my Michigan State drivers license as well as a police report I filed. I've also sent PERFECTION COLLECTION LLC a copy of my United States XXXX orders as proof of residence in XXXX at the time the account was opened. No one has reached out to me on either parts. I've called both companies multiple times and they have done nothing to remedy this situation.

Dear Sir/Madam : PERFECTION COLLECTION has placed a debt in my credit report with XXXX. I know nothing of this debt and called them to state the same. They would not explain, but said it was from an old debt to " XXXX '' and refused to remove it from my credit report. I owe no money to XXXX and have not seen any evidence from this collector that I do. I then diputed the debt with XXXX twice and they have refused to remove the entry from my credit report. This is identity theft, and I want to know how this collector got my ssn. Did they get my ssn from the XXXX data breach? Neither the collector nor XXXX is willing to explain this and remove this entry. Please help. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

I have repeatedly contacted this company in an attempt to get this debt verified as it does not belong to me. Perfection Collection is not the original debt holder and refuses to give me any information about who they purchased the debt from. They simply make snarky, rude comments and then hang up the phone. On my credit report it says this debt originates from a XXXX XXXX Credit Card. I have never owned a XXXX XXXX Credit Card and no one at XXXX XXXX can find any information about any account ever being opened in my name. In addition to refusing to give me any information about the origin of the debt, Perfection Collection refuses to investigate its validity as required by law.

I disputed an account I was unfamiliar with on my credit report. Today at XXXX I received a phone call. The agent failed to identify himself fully on the call, did not state what the call was about, did not provide the call recording or Mini Miranda statements, did not tell me the balance or original debt owner. I stated to him several time I didnt know what it was about. He didnt care and continue to collect. I attempted several time to understand what he was calling about exactly and he refused. He stated if it was fraud I would have to handle myself and hung up. This is a highly abusive tactic where I had no ability to resolve the situation. I find this call harassing.

I have never had nor entertained a home security system, however somehow, this company had my social security number, name and apparently ... forged my signature to complete a loan for someone other than me in a completely different state. The company called my children and used abusive language on their voicemail in regards to my account. They threat me on the voicemail and told me I better make myself available to be served when they are in my area. I have not received any phone calls or letters from them about a bill. The account with the original creditor was closed two years ago. I want them to stop contacting my family members and discussing information with them.
