I was experiencing a financial hardship related to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX. I received information in XXXX XXXX about the XXXX money that was being allocated through XXXX. XXXX of Pa XXXX to help struggling homeowners who was having difficulties making monthly payments, had fell behind with income being impacted during this time and was facing being homeless because of the XXXX. I like so many Americans were enduring so much struggles prior to the Pandemic and with the devastating impact of XXXX, it was even worst. I searched the internet for months for updates and even called the XXXX. Office seeking an opportunity to complete an application online. In XX/XX/XXXX I was notified PAHAF application was available online and after many tries I was able to finally complete an application requesting mortgage assistance past due help and pay it forward mentioned in the initial application process. From the application beginning, it was a very overwhelming process not being able to communicate with the assigned case XXXX as required she did explained as best she could that i would be eligible based on information provided and I would be able to get past due paid to XXXX XXXX mortgage plus XXXX 24 months of paid forward and if i needed additional assistance in which i did request more help to get back on my feet in good standing, as I was prior to the XXXX. I was told at that time that I was eligible for Homeowners assistance XXXX up to {$50000.00}. when i was able to speak to someone, it was a case manger staffed remotely, not directly linked to PAHAF and couldn't provide readily the program services information as PAHAF had initially stated with doing the application. Somewhere along this process, there was a break in having no way to reach the case XXXX assigned, she just stop answering and reaching out to the call center leaving messages for case manger went without a response, I felt even more anxious fearful of becoming homeless after the case manger just stopped communicating, unable to reach her. Then, I received online communication from XXXX saying the XXXX was approved and they were reaching out to XXXX Mortgage company to get a correct past due amount, this went on and on and finally after not being able to speak to the case XXXX assigned an by calling XXXX as to the XXXX update I finally, receive an email with a XXXX awarded for the past due amount {$7900.00} XXXX reached out to the case XXXX again to help me in clarity about the amount and was informed about the additional help of pay it forward and was told that i had been given XXXX and at this time I stated to the casemanager I am requesting the XXXX or 24 months pay it forward with the XXXX in which I was told I was eligible for and could ask for the help, and i did at that time. I was told I needed to sign the document electronically and that XXXX and XXXX would be signing off and I would received a copy of the finial document. I continue to press about receiving the finial document of what the award payment consist of because by this time, the award notice had been removed by the agency and I wasn't able to access it and reaching out to XXXX XXXX Mortgage company who stated, they hadn't received anything sign off documents about the XXXX. XXXX stated they were not in receipt of the award document but had received communication, however XXXX did made deductions as seen on my monthly statement but couldn't give a confirmation as to receiving information from XXXX as to the break down in distribution of the award. THen XXXX was no longer available for contact and each time i called it went to call center saying they would be in touch, this went on for months. Meanwhile XXXX stated they had no updates. The communication stopped with PAHAF, and I was left unclear about what was going on. During this summer, I got word that XXXX had a XXXX party company handling the business part that i had did my application with and were migrating to their own system and doing their own business at some point. I stayed up on this, just anxious, clueless, fearful and finally when I got XXXX XXXX I was forced into doing another application process, even though I was told it wasn't it was just needed for the re-application process and I would not be able to move forward with getting a case XXXX or XXXX awarded information until i did the re-application process. Their system was so crazy, couldn't not navigate the system, no speak to nobody except the on call center, called over and over about their online reapplication system and was given at least 6 times different client ID passwords trying to open the portal to do the application. I already was given a ID # from the initial application process but was forced by this Migration of system process into getting another ID # as if i was a new applicant. I tried to stop the new ID # fearing it would make me seem like I was a new application person and it did exactly that and now based on this process, I never spoke to a case XXXX even though i was lied to at the start of this re-application process, that I would get assigned case XXXX once i did the re-application on their website. Finally, did the application only to be subjected to no communication from any case manger as of this date XX/XX/XXXX and when i reached out about this constantly, i received hostile tone email from the agency staff offering no case manger communication, instead the more i tried to get help communicate with someone directly, I instead got an email stating i was denied based on information they chose to use instead of speaking to me about the prior services of the initial program and supports i was informed would be forthcoming based on the program services agreed to. Additionally, the re-application I was forced to do believing as i was told, was needed otherwise i wouldn't be able to move forward being assigned a case manger and received the XXXX I was to receive. I did the application XX/XX/XXXX it was XXXX pages and was requested to sign the document electronically, in which I did with the assistance of my Daughter. I looked just last night after trying to get on the application to do an Appeal and saw that XXXX has increase the pages in updated information to the re-applicaton icompleted on XX/XX/XXXX and now its a total as i recall of XXXX pages to the re-application and PAHAF used, by forging my electronic signature and added it to the end of the re-application which is now at least XXXX pages with an unauthorized signature in place. My stomach is hurting from this to the point i feel so sick. The misuse of my signature by XXXX is Unacceptable, I feel so humiliated, disrespected. I never spoke to nobody about these added pages period.Apparently, I am asking PAHAF to respond to why they would misuse my signature the audacity to add my name and date it as if its been reviewed and agreed by me, I haven't spoken to anyone since XXXX migrated but on-call ppl in XXXX .Thank you

In XXXX I was misled into purchasing an nearly abandoned home in a undeclared flood zone, through a fake deed. The realtor paid off all parties so that it would pass inspection. During closing the person who portrayed the owner wasnt present, some girlfriend at the table who the realtor started calling the fake owners wife. The paperwork for the home was signed fraudulently months before and all false. Every window was broken, the electrical system was old, dry rotted wood surrounded the house ( they covered it with paint and awning. Worst of all is the neighborhood flooding that has been happening continuously since the 80s because they built the houses over a river. I wasnt given any forewarning for anything just swindled out of the experience of owning a quality home. It wasnt until someone was XXXX in the floods did XXXX or the city even offer flooding insurance. The realtor flipped the loan to XXXX. I alerted XXXX of the issues, sent dozens of pictures, tried unsuccessfully to sell the home. They refinanced but after XXXX plus years never updated my credit info and the amount has stayed the same. When I went to refinance XXXX lawyers kept continuing the hearing ( even though I took off work every time and all the lawyers were present so it was done deliberately ) to add miscellaneous fees that would later be tacked on to my mortgage every year with no explanation. I have dozens of pictures of asking where this money came from, XXXX never helped just tossed me from one agent to another who just let it stay on my credit report without a care. It has been a horrific first time home buyer experience and during the pandemic XXXX tacked on another loan ( thats not suppose to be added u til you are selling your home that I wasnt aware of ) to lower my credit score because they spoke with a realtor behind my back thinking I was selling. I complained asked and called to which they didnt remove the loan from my credit files. Theyve rarely if ever updated my loan payments, which have been sitting at over 80,000 for years. I know that Im small compared to these big companies but there should be a law against fraudulent editing a deed and selling a home with a fake deed. Everyone seemed to be aware but me. The professionals who were supposed to be doing a job were all scheming for money. House was literally worth 15,000 and they patched it up and sold it to me for {$75000.00}. It shouldve failed inspection. XXXX, shouldve updated my credit after countless contacts it feels like a never ending debt that was purposely done. It wasnt until I testified on behalf of a young womans estate who lost her life and they won that my city, others tried to capitalize on and make us pay them for insurance. Theyve made me pay {$6000.00} plus to fix pipes that were XXXX before I moved here ( solicitation by the water dept manager who offered a lower bid for a date that didnt happen ). He came back three times to change how much I owed on the unnecessary fix ( will continue to burst because its a flood zone ). I dont even know who to talk to anymore. The last flood FEMA came out again and offered support ( wants me to take out a loan, which would also hurt my credit score ) because the mold makes this home unlivable. It has been such a horrible experience with all parties.

My husband and I thought the FHA forbearance program had ended. Being behind on our mortgage due to job losses starting in XX/XX/XXXX, we thought we were just going to have to lose the house. However we learned last month that we could still request forbearance and also get a loan modification. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted our servicer, PHFA, to ask for forbearance and begin the loan modification program. I was assured by a local housing counseling agency that due to the CARES act, my request would be granted and we could avoid the foreclosure as our request occurred before the moratorium expired. I contacted PHFA via email as the phone lines we busy, and I received a response from someone on their home retention department that day. The response said that she had forwarded my request to her supervisor. I did not hear anything back from that supervisor until XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, that employee said that we were not getting the COVID forbearance. She also claimed that our issues started prior to Covid and. Therefore we are ineligible. Admittedly, we experienced a setback in XX/XX/XXXX, but it was recoverable until the job losses in XXXX. She did include a form requesting income information for other foreclosure programs. I have been attempting to get that form back to her, but I am struggling to get through to my state unemployment office. Without their help, I am locked out of their online system ( due to an attempted fraudulent claim in my name ) and can not get income verification. I have a ticket number of XXXX and they are currently on ticket XXXX as of this morning. I emailed the supervisor at XXXX to inform her of this on XX/XX/XXXX, but I have not heard back. We also received letters informing us that they have begun foreclosure today. We feel that had the supervisor not delayed in responding to us, and not denied our forbearance request ( this occurred prior to the dates on the foreclosure letters ) we could have a chance to save our home. It was also our understanding that if you had income losses due to COVID, you couldnt be denied the forbearance regardless of whether or not you were behind on payments prior to XX/XX/XXXX. I would think that initial unemployment claims in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX would be obvious proof of that. The supervisor also claims we havent responded in 2 years. However we initially reached out in XX/XX/XXXX and also contacted XXXX to apply for a state XXXX in XXXX XXXX. All we want is what was supposed to be afforded to us via the CARES Act. Six month forbearance starting from our request date of XX/XX/XXXX and the Covid loan modification. The past 18 months have been extremely difficult for my family. Multiple hospitalizations and other health issues have compounded this. Being able to keep our home would ensure that we can actually recover rather than continue to fall backwards. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Before going to an attorney to help us get a loan modification we started with our mortgage company over 2 years ago. Did everything they asked us to do. The woman we deal with there is XXXX XXXX. She has never been any thing other than rude. My father, at one point stepped in to try and help us. He was a builder of over 40 years and ran a successful business. XXXX gave him a hard time as well. Now our attorney is telling us they have NEVER dealt with someone so rude and difficult. This woman has made us fill out the whole loan modification process now over XXXX! I had to redo everything my attorney submitted because they whited out a date ( which they often do if resubmiting the entire SAME package! ) to resubmit it at XXXX XXXX request. She had all our paperwork in front of her but is knit picking apart everything we say and do and keeps making us redo and redo the whole application process! I feel BULLIED by this woman. She now has had access to our PERSONAL finances including our banking statements for more than 18 months. It is like She keeps wanting to see our Financials so She keeps denying our application for one reason or another.. There is always something WRONG She says that we missed. I had to turn around after JUST submitting the EXACT same application and resubmit/redo it all at Elis demand . Even though she had all the paperwork in front of her. I am working with an ATTORNEY who does this EVERYDAY for a living with mortgage companies. And I am being told by them, they have never dealt with a more rude and bullying person. I just want to save my home. We have also given PHFA over {$20000.00} in the 2 last years taken out of my husband retirement. We want to save our home and just need lower payments! And this woman is determined to bully us until we lose our home. I will gladly share my attorney info if need to hear from them about this company and woman, XXXX XXXX. They have not even allowed us access to our mortgage account to make any type of payment either!

Completed grant application in XXXX from PAHFA # XXXX, requested help resulting from Covid Hardship, fell behind in making payments. After several months of paperwork and waiting in process, was awarded the grant/ {$7900.00} received documentation via email of the amount that would help to bring account current/ assist during this hardship. Had to sign receipt of grant acceptance notification of amount /along with XXXX . Grant funds awarded would be sent directly to Mortgage company in amount {$560.00} monthly and has up until recent months. PAHFA has not communicated as to why payments has not been sent from the grant that i was awarded for XXXX XXXX, just stopped according to Mortgage company sending grant payments. Mortgage company claim they don't have any communication from PAHFA of termination nor have i received any communication from PAHFA other than system migrating when I called had no other information nor help, told to email PAHFA, tried emailing unsuccessful in attempts. Meanwhile, I just received a default notice from XXXX about my home status being in trouble, when grant funds awarded is in positive balance. I am at loss as to what is going on, can get no understanding from XXXX PAHFA can't email nor communicate with team that can help with this problem. Please help [

I was awarded two grants from a company called XXXX based out of XXXX, PA to help pay mortgages of families who have been behind from the pandemic. They sent two checks paying {$1500.00} each of my {$2300.00} mortgage payment. After 30 or so days of my mortgage account not being updated to account for the payments, someone reached out to me and said that they were able to locate one of the checks for XXXX and that the other was possibly submitted to another XXXX XXXX because it didnt have my loan number but that they would rectify the issue. On their website it is very difficult to submit a payment that is not in the full amount, whether one-time payment or recurring. I did submit a payment for {$700.00} and was notified later that this calculation was wrong and that I still owed XXXX something dollars. I couldnt Pay this on the website and had to send a money order to do so. This was very inconvenient at the time but I still did it and now they are saying they didnt receive that either. That has resulted in me being penalized on my credit report as the first ever late payment. My score went down 60 points. I have even had email communications with all parties and my mortgage company fails to give me the proper account credits.

I contacted the Pennsylvania Fin Agency ( PHFA ) to apply for a forbearance as it relates to the CARES Act during the COVID Pandemic. At first I was given the runaround and was told that this mortgage company wasn't issuing forbearances. I called back the next day, and I was offered a forbearance ; when I inquired about extending the forbearance, I was offered a HUD loan and was told that was my only option. I was pretty frustrated with the option. I could not understand why I was offered a loan when I was already looking for some assistance with my 1st loan. Because the PHFA didn't offer any assistance at the time beyond another loan during my hardship with the pandemic, they continuously report my loan in the negative to the 3 credit bureaus while I struggled to pay my mortgage on time. Under the CARES Act, they were supposed to provide some assistance so my credit could have been protected from negative reporting, and that didn't happen with PFHA. They continued to report me in the negative from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. They never offered me another forbearance until last week. My other mortgage company has been very accommodating.

At the very beginning of XX/XX/XXXX I applied for mortgage assistance with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. This was to provide up to 6 months of future payments and to get the loan current. My household income is well below the income limit and in XXXX of XXXX I was informed that the application was approved and funds would be disbursed to my lender. I was also told to keep my payments behind in order to use the program. Funds were never disbursed. At the end of XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by PHFA and asked to provide a signed authorization for PHFA to verify my current loan status and amounts with my lender. I provided the signed authorization within two hours of the request. I was told that funds would be disbursed in approximately 30 days. To my knowledge, the request to verify has never even been sent to my lender and no funds have been released. All this assistance request that I applied for has done for me is hurt my credit and cause extreme anxiety. It seems like a scam and I believe I was certainly given bad advise about not keeping my loan current in order to use the program.

XXXX XXXX hit my family hard and as of today we are still struggling way to much and we got XXXX again! I have XXXX currently working on paying the back balance that processes they do to get this done takes forever but they are in the 2nd and final stage then paying the back amount will be paid soon! My mortgage company XXXX have been told this already and have been given then account number and they told me awesome great because they know I'm in this program with the XXXX and XXXX can't wait they want want want and the hell with that! On a letter dated, XX/XX/, I received a letter from PA Housing Finance Agency that read : Notice of Intention to Foreclose Mortgage. I contacted PHFA to inquire why I had received this notice when I had not missed a payment in five years. To which, I have all documentation to confirm. After I spoke with XXXX XXXX at PHFA she informed me to contact accounting via email at XXXX to request a review of my account with information or statements regarding their claims of missed payments on my behalf. The email I sent to accounting was dated on XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX As of today, XXXX XXXX, I have still not received even a reply from accounting at PHFA, and it's been a constant game of phone tag with PHFA in the last 10 days due to work and business hours.

phfa informed me that i will receive monetary assistance with my mortgage and utlities. it took more than 8 months to receive the first payment and have yet to receive the second payment or payment for any utilities. i have tried to contact plenty of people their employees change monthly, their site and program was put on hold. Never received an update from customer service reps as the keep informing me they cant see the status. my mortgage has increased from XXXX XXXX XXXX without my knowledge and i don't know next steps as i have yet to here from phfa and it has been 8 months since last contact

Regular monthly payments on this loan are due on the first of each month and typically made on the last day of the prior month. When I send in extra principal amounts between payments, I expect the principal to be applied on the amortization schedule between the payments it is actually sent between. Instead, PHFA suspends and reorders payments so as to increase the amount of interest charged. The amount of the difference is regularly less than the value of the hours of effort required to get this corrected on my individual account, but the Agency should not be allowed to do that.

I have a mortgage with PA HOUSING Account number XXXX ( full account number XXXX ) that reports on my credit report. They are my servicer for my primary residence mortgage. I had mortgage lates over 7 years ago, and they are not taking them off, and now even stopped reporting my recent payment history entirely, only reporting my most recent payment. I want them to Please remove the mortgage lates over 7 years old, and show my most recent payment history on my credit report. I attached a copy of my report. Under 15USC1681 sec 602 states I have a right to privacy. 15USC1681 sec 604A sec 2 also states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Under 15USC1666B a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open and consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

This is a billing error thats needs to be rectified. A late payment is not defined by federal law. I have continuously been submitting letters to both creditors and all XXXX bureaus over 5 times in a matter of over 120 days and nothing has been resolved.
