I had received a bill of {$140.00} from a dermatologists in XXXX that I had paid for via my XXXX Credit card through XXXX Bank. This was my second visit with them since one that I had in XXXX. I also paid that bill of {$140.00} through my XXXX credit card. The first payment for the visit in XXXX was for {$55.00} and it was paid on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, one month after my visit at the doctors. I received a letter on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from Peerless Credit regarding this very debt of {$130.00} ( the full payment before interest fro the credit card ) as being unpaid as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( the date of the original payment via my credit card ), and if I did not pay it, that they would release this " unpaid '' account to their attorney at the XXXX XXXX Offices. Not thinking about this sooner, I have already submitted a partial payment of {$25.00} to them on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. it was n't until now I realized that I did pay this bill off in XXXX via the aforementioned credit card agency. Peerless Credit 's phone number is XXXX they are located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX. I have researched this company and they have numerous complaints stating that they consistently break FDCPA laws. I have attached three screenshots of the bank statements that I have received, the first one from XXXX, the second one from XXXX, and the third one from XXXX. I am hoping for this issue to be resolved, and for my payment to be returned to me. Thank you.

Peerless Credit called my direct line at work 4-5 times. The first call I chose not to identify myself and he mentioned he would call back. I was not at my desk for all of his call attempts, prior and post speaking with him. When I took his ( assuming ) last call for today, I asked him to identify the nature of which he was calling. He mentioned it was personal and I told him we were not permitted to take personal calls at work. He informed me he spoke to someone earlier ( me ) and that they said it was okay. I told him I was under no obligation to identify myself to him while at work, and that he was not permitted to contact me during work hours and could call my personal phone number. He then told me he would be telling the debt originator that I was refusing to pay, among other things. I told him that I never said I refused to pay, rather that I didn't want to be contacted on my work line and that he was not authorized to call me on that number. I asked if the calls were recorded because that would serve as proof that I never refused anything, and tried to offer an alternate contact number. He continued to raise his voice and hung up on me.

This collections office has contacted me numerous times by phone after being told not to. This included XXXX separate instances where the office called my house literally less than a minute after I instructed them not to call back, the most recent on XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX and XXXX The other instance was during XXXX and I do not have the exact date as my home phone only stores a finite number of incoming calls. The calls were more frequent and persistent last year, until I sent the letter on XXXX XXXX, XXXX explaining that the contract was null and void. The collector stopped calling for a few months and made no response contesting my statements about the validity of the contract and reasons for making those statements. Now they have called me several times in the past month, including the XXXX calls less than a minute apart, and are threatening legal action on an invalid debt. This has to stop and these people have to be shown that what they are doing is wrong and tortuous.

XXXX XXXX was told repeatedly at peerless credit to not call my work number. He proceeded to contact my work 2 more times after asked not to. I am not allowed to receive personal calls at work and this is a violation of my employment. My wife asked him to leave a message with her and she would forward it to me because of the work policy and he told her that he was not allowed to leave messages, even though he left two messages with the secretary at my work. Giving his name and who he was trying to contact. Also threatened us after we questioned him about policies in Pennsylvania about the debt and history of it ... he told us we owed the full amount in 10 days or we were going to be sued for it. He called my wife twice at XXXX XXXX and again at XXXX. No messages left. He called me on my cell twice the same times XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. He also called my employer between those times twice and left messages.

On multiple occasions, we have been harassed by Peerless Credit Services for a debt that belongs to my ex wife.

The most recent incident was on X/XX/2017 around XXXX. Upon receiving the bill for XXXX XXXX, Acct # XXXX, I contacted Peerless Credit Services to provide them with contact information for XXXX XXXX. During these conversations, they refused to take her information, stating that this is my debt, when it is not. The Peerless folks hung up on us numerous times and have yet to take the address and phone number of the responsible party.

This is the 3rd month in a row we have attempted to resolve this with them.
