I have had judgement against me thru attorney Patrick Scanlon. I have made several attempts to contact his office for assistance. I had completed their financial/income papers and had asking to be able to make a payment arrangement each month and no response was ever received. Recently I have made several attempts to contact his office thru their online portal email site. I received a settlement offer later datedXX/XX/XXXX stating they would accept {$1200.00} to show the judgement as paid in full. The letter states that I have until XX/XX/XXXX to pay in full and accept their offer. I emailed their office on XX/XX/XXXX to let them know that I was borrowing funds and would be accepting their settlement. Several days later I received notification that they have now attached my wages for the full amount. Why would I be sent a settlement letter if they were garnishing my wages? Their letter advises me that it may be worth my while to borrow the funds, which I have now done and then had my income seriously diminished. Why would they have ever sent me a letter recommending me to take a loan while knowing that they were already having my wages garnished. I have been trying to work them to make arrangements, and receive no responses to my emails. I specifically sent them an email to let them know that I was planning on accepting their settlement and when they could expect to receive the funds. Now I am stuck with a loan that I wouldn't have needed to take out, with a very high interest rate, and an inquiry when they knew all along they were going to garnish my wages. This does not feel right. I am aware that I owe the funds which Is why I have been trying to reach out to rectify the situation.

On XXXX I received a wage attachment at my job regarding a debt fro XXXX. I disputed that debt back in XXXX when my ex used my card without my permission. Never hear a word about it after that. I asked for a validation of debt but they just sent me a print out of the original balance that I originally disputed 12 years ago and was advised I had nothing to worry about. I have great credit and this account is not on my credit report. The attorney is very rude, demanding and threatening. I never received a correspondence regarding this or a wage attachment.
