Early in XXXX, I was getting physical therapy. XXXX XXXX was my insurance company. At the end of my visits, my employer changed our health insurance and that physical therapist just worked for XXXX. They said we owed for the time I wasn't carried by XXXX and our new insurance wouldn't pay their final bill. My wife called the therapist to work out a deal. The person in billing said she would call her back but never did. We then received a notice from XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. A collection agency for therapists. My wife contacted them and paid {$650.00} by credit card to get rid of the debt that should have been less. But we wanted it gone. We went online to verify the amount was paid and our account showed XXXX on XXXX 's website. We never got a letter or any other correspondence. Now, in XXXX of XXXX, I get a phone call from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating I still owe and now the amount is up to {$250.00} because of interest. The person stated that it seems it was taken off the books and then put back on. I stated we had not received any notice since XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX said that the account was paid. The woman on the phone then proceeded to give us a website to look at the new invoice. We would have to create a login to go on. I will not give these people our email address to view a document. Seriously? We paid up a year ago and should even had to pay what we did. XXXX XXXX never sent us anything until this moment and now we owe interest? On what? They can't ever tell us that directly.
Now, after we file our first complain with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, we find out that the debt was just now sold to another debt collector who just sent us a letter of collection. It's from Bureau of Account Management. Here we go again.
Please help us erase this amount. We paid it with XXXX XXXX and now here 's a new company asking for money. This is insane.

A XXXX XXXX bill which was the sole responsibility of the XXXX XXXX health insurance plan through my current employer XXXX XXXX who has agreed to pay all insurance claims relative to the XXXX XXXX XXXX I experienced in XX/XX/XXXX, is now showing up on my credit report even after I retained legal representation to resolve the matter in anticipation of this happening. XXXX has agreed to pay all XXXX costs associated with my XXXX after receiving a demand letter from my attorney but has evidently not paid the outstanding debt they agreed to pay via their legal contractual obligation of my health insurance policy with them at the time which is also is still in force. I have been with the company for over 10 years and was insured under their health insurance plan at the time of the XXXX. They illegally terminated my health insurance without any notification to me on XX/XX/XXXXbut yet cashed another premium payment on XX/XX/XXXX and tried to get out from under their legal obligation to pay the rest of my XXXX costs which is the bill being disputed on my credit report.

I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OF ACCOUNT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, PA XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and spoke to 3 different people. I had asked that if I paid the {$54.00} that was on my credit report would they agree to remove this debt from the report. I had asked for this in writing or via email. They told me repeatedly that they remove it as a curtesy and would not send me something in writing before I paid. They told me the only thing they would do was send me a receipt after I paid and told me the actual amount that was owed was {$88.00}. They told me that they can not report any debt under {$50.00}. When I asked again to see this in writing they told me that their calls are recorded and that would be my proof. I told them that doesn't give me anything because they are the ones with the recorded call.. not me.. I asked again to have the amount in writing and was denied. I thanked them for their help and hung up.. This doesn't seem legal or legit to me. I want this removed from my credit report ( s ). Thank You

Hello, and I hope all is well. XX/XX/2020, letters were sent to addressed issues : While reviewing the credit profile to XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, the number of uncertain tradelines continues to be placed when the debt is due to repeated visits to practices within the healthcare system. Financial assistance was not offered during times of service. While receiving treatments for compromised issues, protocols are in place to ensure the debt will not accumulate. XXXX XXXX XXXX hired a third-party Bureaus of Accounts Management to report multiple items on the credit profile. The continued actions have violated the Federal Credit Reporting Act. This is a violation of the law with continued failed practices, which decreases my credit score and creditworthiness.

A collection agency by name " Bureau of Account Management '' has sent me a letter for collecting debt for amount {$4600.00} on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. This is for the medical services provider " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' for date of service on XX/XX/XXXX.
The amount due as mentioned in the letter for {$4600.00} is incorrect. I called up the provider and had a conference call with collection agency representative on XX/XX/XXXX, where the amount due as confirmed by the provider was {$1100.00} The collection agency was supposed to send me a letter confirming the revised amount, but I did not received any letter. Instead the collection agency representative keeps calling me and leaving phone messages.

BUR ACCT MGM XXXX Bureau of Accout XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX Acct # XXXX {$1100.00} This account is not mine. I have written certified mail receipt attached. They will not show me a signed contract with my name on it with my signature on it. I was recently in the hospital and this information came up on my acct, and so now I know my information is being sold by this company to other companies. This infiltrates all kinds of Hippa Laws by doing this. Having this on my credit when it is not mine is agains the Fair Credit reporting act and the Hippa Laws act. Remove this immediatly from my credit, or show me this signed contract.

I recently reached out to this creditor with concern that the alleged debt was incorrect/ not mine. They have not responded within the 30 day period that is allotted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act with sufficient proof such as a signed application or a signed agreement proving that i am responsible for the alleged debt. As outlined within Section 623 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the duty of the furnisher is to promptly modify or delete the information, or block its reporting. Please remove the account Not only is the account inaccurate, the alleged debt is listed more than once, violating my rights.

Bureau of Account Management is attempting to collect a medical debt ( {$85.00} - XXXX 2015 ) that is not mine and have failed to provide any legitimate documentation on the false debt. Not only is Bureau of Account Management fraudulently attempting to collect an erroneous debt, but they have falsely reported this to all 3 credit agencies causing a significant decrease in my overall credit score. This predatory collection agency has violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act on all levels and I would like this resolved ASAP.
