In between the months of XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX, I became enrolled in what I was led to believe was a student loan forgiveness, Revised Pay As You Earn ( XXXX ) program by way of EduLoan Servicing, in which my " account '' was later sold to XXXX, unbeknownst to me. Almost immediately after I completed enrollment with EduLoan, I began receiving multiple emails & phone calls from different people who said they'd acquired my account, and that I'd have to deal with them from now on. I had not, at the time, realize what selling information was, and that it was illegal.
In XXXX of XXXX, after almost 5 years worth of payments, it was revealed to me by an official representative of the U.S. Department of Education that no such payments were made on my behalf and they did not recognize any such consolidation program by way of EduLoan or XXXX XXXX. Furthermore, the representative revealed that the U.S. Government suspended all student loan repayments for the year of XXXX to commence in XX/XX/XXXX, yet my bank has been charged bXXXX XXXX XXXX every month in XXXX all the way up through XX/XX/XXXX until my card expired.
I began receiving text messages from someone allegedly named XXXX XXXX about my card expiration & that they were looking for payment, which struck me as odd because no legitimate business will personally text you. The web link that was sent to me via this person 's email was only set up to receive your personal bank information. No further information was available on the website as to who they were, contact information or anything, only to receive your information.
https : XXXX ) Once I was able to contact them, I told them I wanted a full refund and was told I wasn't entitled to one UNTIL I told them I was not going to let this situation go and was going to get whatever authorities available involved, possibly including an Attorney General. I told them that I now realize they've been selling my personal information without my knowledge, that the " contract '' was void because no consolidation payments were made to the U.S. Department of Education on my behalf like what was explained to me, only to them every month.
Only AFTER all of this is when I began receiving open communication from XXXX via email, calls & voice-mail. On XX/XX/XXXX, the supervisor of the representative that was handling my file, explained to me they he would, in fact, refund me only {$930.00} to make up for just 2 years worth of payments that they knew they weren't supposed to be receiving. As of XX/XX/XXXX, that transaction never happened, nor has any further communication been made on they're behalf.
I am including in this correspondence the initial interactions via email & text messages between myself, EduLoan representative XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ' XXXX XXXX, XXXX & XXXX XXXX. I still have the original " contract '' and most, if not, all of the voice recordings over the last few years if needed for further review.

The company called repeatedly stating they could help me to lower my payments, so finally I contacted them. They told me from the start, back in XXXX of 2017 that my monthly student loan payments could be as low as $ XXXX/month, and that after 15 years the loan COULD be forgiven completely. They told me I had to pay {$690.00} over 3 months to get the plan set up, and for some reason I understood part of that money was going toward my student loan, to show that I wanted to repay my loan, and to " bring my payments up to date ''. After they received all of the payments I learned that the total {$690.00} was just to pay them to process paperwork I could have done myself. But they led me to believe they had a special program, and it was the only way to lower my loans. Then they told me I would receive the information necessary to start my payment schedule. I received an email detailing how to access the navient web page to set up my payment plan. I could n't figure it out so I contacted them, and they told me I did n't have to pay anything against my loan! Instead, the $ XXXX/month payments were to keep them handy to " help '' me, to answer questions, and to refile paperwork next spring to re-enroll me in the " payment plan '' .When I mentioned that $ XXXX/month is NOT a payment, the guy went on to tell me how much money I owe and how lucky I am that they got my payment down to XXXX!! They also falsified my information, putting my family size at XXXX. They said they got my payments so low because they were able to prove I make below the poverty level for my state. They lied to me, and they lied about me. They filled out my paperwork, and did it while they had me on the phone. I assumed they filled it out correctly, and entered the information I gave them.

EduLoan Servicing is a fraudulent program that used the official-sounding programObama Student Loan Forgiveness to scam m e into believing that they offered programs that could lower my student loan monthly payments and even provide student loan debt forgiveness. EduLoan Servicing shared they would collect my monthly payments on behalf of the federal student loan program and send them to my servicer. I most recently received a call from XXXX ( who is my current loan servicer ) stating that my account was delinquent and that EduLoan Servicing was a fraudulent program. By this point, my checking account had been withdrawn an estimated {$900.00}. Through out the entire proces s EduLoan claim ed they were a Student Loan Forgiveness program. They accessed my FSA ID using my ss # and driver 's license. I am at a loss for words and would like to press charges. How do I proceed?

In 2017, I enrolled in a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program through XXXX. I have made monthly payments for the past two years. On Friday I spoke with someone from the XXXX and was told that no payment has been made on my outstanding balances for over a year. I have no idea of where that money has been going. I emailed the contact person I had with XXXX and have yet to receive a response.
