I received a call today on XX/XX/XXXX from a fictitious number leaving a very vague message from a representative at the extension XXXX. On the same day a friend sent a screenshot of the voicemail to text, that the same representative called and left. Today on XX/XX/XXXX was the first time I have heard from this company. I XXXX the number and found it belongs to Orion Capital Solutions, LLC. Below is a transcription of the voicemail that was left by the representative. Hi Good morning Ms. XXXX, this is XXXX. I am reaching out to you XXXX in regards to the notification that my office has sent out to your mailing address. Its in reference to the paperwork that we have here concerning yourself. We still as of today have yet to get any sort of response from you and prior to making any sort of recommendations, Im really hoping for an opportunity to go over the full details of this with you directly. If this is something that you would like your input considered on before anything is decided, Ill be here today until about XXXX O clock Eastern time. My direct number here is ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX extension is XXXX. Thank you When I returned the call, the representative was very aggressive and stated that this was regarding a debt that was referred to them in XXXX of XXXX. She was still very vague, and I questioned how she got the contact for my friend and why she would contact a third party regarding this supposed debt. I also asked why so much time had passed before I was contacted regarding this supposed debt, why I had not received any written notice about the supposed debt, and that usually after 30-60 days of no response from the debtor the debt is attached to the credit history she claimed that it was sent via email. I also stated that this is not normal behavior for a collection company and formal written validation of debt is required on the debt collectors part per the Fair Debt Collections Act. The representative became irate and told me that was false and not how collections accounts were handled and that I committed a crime by violating my contract with the original debt. This company has broken many parts of the law and are using illegal tactics to intimidate me regarding a supposed debt they have yet to send a validation for. Below are some clear violations made by this company. 1. This company violated section 805 of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act which is public law, by contacting a third party regarding my contact information and debt. 2. This company violated section 806 of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act by using deceptive and misleading tactics in connection with the debt. They also attempted to disgrace me by saying I was committing a crime in relation to the debt, which is also a violation in this section of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. 3. This company violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act by not sending a written proof of debt showing information about the original debt, original contract, amount owed, proof of debt etc.

Harassment from Orion Debt Collection This complaint is about violation of my rights as a California resident. Orion Capital Solutions, LLC. violated my right to request calls not to be made during my work hours. Nevertheless, I was harassed over the duration of the phone call by the representative, going by the name, XXXX. I received a call from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX suggesting that I call back about regarding my address. I followed up with a call and left a message that same day. XXXX called back on XX/XX/XXXX and reviewed a claim from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( an unsecured loan ) that was taken back in XX/XX/XXXX. I told her that I spoke with someone 3 months prior about the loan being paid. the loan was {$2500.00} and the amount paid was over {$5000.00} nevertheless I had a processed bankruptcy file at that time and I included that loan. XXXX continued to persist with information but as I told her the information I provided to the previous XXXX XXXX XXXX Rep, she told me that she could not hear me so she continued to talk over me. XXXX mocked me for not having paperwork from the company XXXX XXXX XXXX but I told her all correspondence I received came from the website. To my knowledge, the loan was closed as of XX/XX/XXXX. The problem I have was, Although XXXX continued to talk over me, I suggested she email the information. XXXX then fires back sarcastically that they tried that before and was telling me that I was refusing to work with the collection agency. I reconfirmed that I never received an email from this agency. XXXX continued to harass me over the phone while I told her that she was calling me during my work hours and I did not appreciate her harassment nor the way she was conducting the call. Not once did she consider my request that she was calling during my work hours but she continued to tell me that she had a right to call me at any time. I have XXXX XXXX XXXX and started to have a XXXX XXXX due to the harassing suggestions from XXXX. Nevertheless, she told me that she could not hang up the phone as she continued to tell me that can call me anytime. After I mentioned that I was recording the time she stayed on my phone to harass me, she finally hung up. The complaint is about Orion Capital Solutions, LLC and the customer care rep., XXXX. I do not deserve this type of treatment especially since I had the understanding that this credit was resolved based on previous conversation with a rep from that company. I am a resident in California and my rights were violated by Orion Capital Solutions, LLC.

I received a voicemail on my cell phone on XX/XX/21 from a XXXX with Orion Capital Solutions. I called back and XXXX was not available to but the lady who answered said she could help me. She confirmed only my name and birthday before telling me that I have $ 700+ debt with XXXX and XXXX. I explained to her that I've never purchased anything from either of those companies but I have been the recent victim of identity theft and have my FTC Identity Theft report and police report available. She insisted that it doesn't matter because it must be someone I know because no one would make payments on a debt if using a stolen identity. I told her I don't know who it was, but I was a victim of identity theft and I can provide documentation. She continued to insist that " since its attached to your name and your social you're responsible for it no matter if it was you, someone you know, or identity theft ''. She was rude and very disrespectful. She gave me an email address that is not mine, she gave me a mans name associated with the email address that I did not know. I asked her if she had anything she could send me because this debt is not mine. She got rude then and kept interrupting. Eventually I told her either send me debt validation or stop calling me. About 5 minutes later I get a call from my EX mother-in-law saying they called her to ask where I am and told her I'm in trouble with the law. They GAVE HER my name, DOB, and last 4 of my SSN. As soon as I hung up with my mother in law my dad called me and said he had a voicemail from this place saying they are tracking me and need to know where I am. This is all AFTER I already spoke with them. I don't know who they are but they should not be giving my personal information out to anyone they find in a phone book. And they should be taking a FTC Identity Theft and Police Report seriously not telling me that because she thinks she knows how criminals work, that she's judge and jury on whether or not this was identity theft.

On XX/XX/2019 I received a call at work in regards to an " unresolved business matter '' from XXXX at Orion Capital Solutions ( I believe that is the spelling ). He said he needed my input for a file that he needs to sign off on. I requested a Validation Letter and he stated they ONLY communicate via email ( in real time to verify delivery of the email ) and no longer submit anything via the postal service because of legal reasons and because phone calls are recorded. He did not state before this that the call was being recorded and it actually took him a minute into the conversation to even say who he was calling from. I again requested a validation letter and he said he would email it to me with the email address I provided. I told him he could call me the next day ( today ) to verify I did receive the letter. It has been over 24 hours and he has not called and I have not received a validation letter via email and I have checked both the junk email box and inbox numerous times. He stated during the conversation that he would have to call me back because his phone number/address would not be on the validation letter. I asked about doing communication via mail again and he said they do not receive/or send anything by postal service because it costs them too much and for legal reasons since the calls are recorded.. After I hung up with him I noticed a blocked voicemail on my personal phone that was from him. The call was from XXXX and in the message he gave his name but not where he was calling from and stated he was calling about an unresolved business matter and needed my input. He then gave the phone number XXXX ... that is the only time I received a phone number. Again I have not received any kind of communication other than this phone call and voicemail. I have no actual documents ( since he did not send anything ) but I did save the voicemail he left on my phone.

On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX MST I received a call from a XXXX at Orion Capital Solutions , he gave me some information about a contract/debt owed and then said he assumed that I wanted to take care of this. I asked if notification had been sent, he said an email had been sent. I asked if a letter had been sent to my po box , and he asked what good would that do as an email had been sent. I informed him I had not received an email and he started saying that I don't need to raise my voice. I calmly told him that I was not raising my voice, I just want to have a verification of the debt as is my right. He said he would just assume that I didn't want to take care of it then wished me good luck and hung up. He then IMMEDIATELY called my wife and left a very threatening message telling her how I was an extremely difficult individual and all I wanted to do was argue. He mentioned a property assessment report and verification of income. Then ended the message to her with " I apologize for the headache this is going to cause because your husband thinks he needs to talk to people in a certain way ''. I called him right after hearing that and he was angry and again hung up on me. I called him back again and he answered the phone with " What do I need to do to get you to stop calling me? '' He also said that I already told him I wasn't going to take care of this debt and there was nothing more to discuss. I never said that, I only asked questions. This is text book aggressive practices and trying to play a wife against a husband is extremely unethical, not to mention suggesting there would be future problems after telling her about property assessments and income to me suggests they are telling her it would be financial problems coming from this.

A number ( spoofed as a XXXXarea number but providing a number to call back as XXXX ) called myself, my brother, my dad, my mom, a previous employer, and my ex-boyfriend seeking location information about me. They did not provide any indication as to what they were calling about, and made vague threats towards taking " action '' if they didn't hear back from me directly. Upon checking my call screening service, I found that they have called multiple times from different spoofed numbers all identified back to their same main number of XXXX. Not only is it inappropriate for them to have called multiple times over the past week, but they then went about spamming my contacts- whose numbers were never provided to them ( none of my family, work, or my ex were co-signers on any loan or other such legal documents, in fact the sole instance in which my exes number was ever in existence was on my contacts/texts themselves. His number was never once used in any form except to enter into my contacts and call/text him. ) nor are they on the same service, so they would have had to have been acquired illegally - and refused to provide any information as to what they were calling about. It took XXXX their provided number to find out what they even were - Orion Capital Solutions, a company I've never received contact from, and is not in charge of any of my debt- to write this complaint.

I received a voicemail on XX/XX/2019 ( transcript attached ) from this company. The message was very vague but tried to imply there was some legal action they were going to make. I called the number provided to get more information on the " unresolved business matter '' and they refused to or were unable to provide any information other than I supposedly had a loan they were collecting on. I asked for the details about the loan and the lady said it was deposited to a XXXX (? ) bank account. I told her I do not have an account with any bank with that name and she told me sometimes they get the bank information wrong. I advised her I do not have any outstanding loans and asked for the name of their compliance officer so I can send over documents disputing the debt. She was not able to tell me who the compliance officer was. All they would do is give me a fax number to send anything I wanted to send. I sent the attached documents but never heard anything back.

XXXX XXXX with Orion Capital Solutions contacted my husband multiple times regarding a loan from XXXX XXXX that is in my name and threatened to sue him over my debt. The loan was taken out in my name only, no cosigner and we don't share bank accounts etc ... My husband politely told him that he did not believe he could do that, and XXXX told my husband that he was wrong and if it wasn't paid within a few days, the were going to come after him. He called me today, stating that he talked to my husband yesterday and that since I did not contact him immediately, they were going to move forward and take action.

On XX/XX/21 at XXXX I sent an email to Orion Capital Solutions requesting that they cease all phone contact with anyone regarding this issue and requested that all communication occur in writing. I followed this up with a phone call to XXXX at approximately XXXX. I spoke to XXXX at extension XXXX and was told that my written request was received and that no more calls would occur. At XXXX I was contacted by a third party that XXXX had just left them a voicemail asking for my " location information ''. This is a clear violation of the FDCPA and I am entitled to relief.

On XX/XX/2023 the debt collection company attempted to create a payment plan that I did not consent to for a debt that I do not know. When I reached out to them, they did not provide me the information stating that I owe the debt and then asked me to provide information that it had been paid. I received an emergency loan for {$6000.00}. However, the interest charged was unreasonable. I could not continue to pay. I realized that most likely, this loan was an illegal internet loan in the State of Virginia. I did forward this information to the Company. I received a call from a collections Company called Orion. I have been getting these calls several times a week, always a different number, and I am getting tired of the harassment. Orion Capital Solutions, calling from XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX but stated to call them back at XXXX. From the comments Ive read it sounds like this company needs to be shut down immediately. I do not know who they are looking for but a quick XXXX of their phone number would let anyone know that persons business ( illegal ). Violations of the FDCPA for sure.

The company that purchased the debt from XXXX XXXX is very unprofessional. They have left threatening messages on my phone multiple times.
