when the pandemic started i lost my job and attempted to communicate with Caviler Finance to see my payment options. the manager started on XX/XX/XXXX with texting me from her personal number threatening me to bring the cops with her to my house to take my collateral, she has contacted my referances and told them all the information what my balance was, how far i was behind, what the origanal balance was. when i asked for the home office number she refused to give it to me, so i had to contact another branch and when i contacted the home office i was told by the VP of the company that he did not have time to work with me, my only option was to work the the XXXX office.when i asked if he liked when his employees talked to their customers like that he said " thats not my problems, this is how things will be handled '', he stated that he can come take my collateral because i broke 2 payment promises even though i have tried to continue to communicate with them to try to work with me. they are intimidating people by threatening them with jail, this is highly unprofessional and highly illegal. i have mulitple screenshots of the texts. the last payment i went and paid she wrote me a hand written reciept and did not post the payment that day. she has called me multiple times in an hour. i have dropped a cease and desist in the door of the company to not contact me further until this issue is resolved

XXXX XXXX is the office that I received the loan from, This account is not in bad debt but in good standing. I am complaining because if I am just a day late on the payment, they call me NON STOP and leave threatening messages. They also come to my house repeatedly and this payment that is owed is not even 30 days behind. I am tired of them harassing me, I didn't even know you could threaten people with suit and with seizing property unless you were pretty behind like 90 days? I mean not even barely a day late and the phone calls are non stop. They are so rude to me in the office and when they come to my house, they have done this since day one and all through Covid restrictions when people weren't supposed to be using debt collection practices. They send very nasty letters and text messages, they also send threatening voicemails.
They are breaking alot of rules at this place of business. I think they need to reevaluate their office rules and practices. Thank you.

XX/XX/2020 ( Approximately ) I spoke with a representative at Cape Fear Finance XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX in person to apply for a {$300.00} loan. I was not provided information regarding the terms of the loan. I went back in person the following day after providing my social security number for a credit check ( I have a social security security freeze with the bureaus ) I was approved for the loan through a credit check however, was told I was denied because I needed to provide serial numbers to prove ownership of a lawn mower, television, ect. to qualify. I was declined because I own none of the items they were requesting. My complaint is because the representative neglected to provide disclosure information regarding the application requirements of ownership of a lawn mower, television, ect. before processing a credit report on my behalf.

Husband lost job, not able to get caught up on payments. Tried to set up promise dates around my pay schedule ( 15th & 30th/mo ), however, the finance company repeatedly calls me from their personal cell phone number and other blocked numbers in attempt to collect my debt. In addition to that, they have threatened me and flat out used offensive and obscene language with me over the phone when I say I'm going to pay my debt on a certain date.
