In XX/XX/XXXX ; I was notified by XXXX XXXX who was employed by XXXX XXXX Now that I was pre-approved for a home loan. She sent my realtor XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) a pre- approval letter. XXXX and I then spoke with XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX with pre-qualification letter in hand and began picking out my town home in XXXX, Utah. By this time, I had given XXXX XXXX {$1000.00} earnest money and a {$2500.00} construction deposit. Everything seemed to be moving along very smoothly. XXXX would advise me every two to four weeks that she had checked with XXXX on the progress of my loan and XXXX would communicate with me that XXXX stated that everything was fine. The only change that had been passed along to me was that XXXX took my loan to her new employer Oaktree Funding. During XXXX employment with Oaktree Funding the only things that were requested of me to produce was my investment statement so I can show where the down payment was coming from, updated paycheck stubs, bank statements and documentation that my student loan was in good standing. On XX/XX/XXXX ; 17 days before I was supposed to close on the property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Utah XXXX had called me to inform me that XXXX was no longer licensed to be a lender/broker in Utah and the processor XXXX at Oaktree Funding, was advising her I needed an additional {$6000.00} or so in order to close on XX/XX/XXXX. Needless to say, I dont have an additional {$6000.00} or so and I am not sure if I will even receive my {$3500.00} I had given to XXXX XXXX as a deposit/down payment. Furthermore ; my current landlord has already rented out my current residence. Now I am currently in a situation where I am scrambling for a place to live by the end of XXXX.

I applied for a refinance loan on one of my investment properties through Oaktree Funding Corp ( XXXX XXXX ). I was approved and received the funds, however shortly after the closing Oaktree sold my mortgage to two other another lenders. Now I have two mortgages from two separate lenders ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX dba XXXX XXXX on the same house on my credit report and both are sending bills for the mortgage payment. I didn't get two refinance fund payments I shouldn't be charged for two mortgages. I have contacted all three lenders and no one has corrected the problem. Each saying I have to contact the other to resolve the issue. I didn't cause the issue. I believe Oaktree made a mistake in how they processed or transferred the note to the other mortgage companies. Oaktree 's error has caused my credit score to decline. I'm trying to purchase a new primary residence and I'm being charged a higher interest rate and have to submit a large amount of money because my debt-to-income ratio is higher because of this error

I was working with Oaktree Funding Corporation regarding the purchase of my property. My file was not reviewed properly and I ended up losing my deposit on the purchase of my property. Oaktree Funding made up requirements after providing a specific timeline indicating the loan would close on time. This company should not be allowed to practice as they will continue to cause harm to other buyers.
