I received a Robo call from XXXX - upon picking up the phone, a pre recorded message said " Hello, this message is solely intended for ( My Name ) if you are not ( my name ) please disregard this message. Please call XXXX using Reference no. XXXX. Please press 1 to be connected to a representative. When pressing 1, the phone makes an outbound ring, and a operator picks up. Upon giving them the Reference no. they stated that I owed on a claim. Jokingly I stated - Claim..? What kind? Insurance claim? ... They stated No - a law suit and that the complainant wanted to settle out of court on a payday loan in the amount of {$510.00} - I stated that I have never taken out a payday loan.. They then began threatening court proceedings and that I could tell my story to the judge. - Now of course, I do n't and never have taken out a payday loan. After they hang up on you, they appear to block you from calling back. When I called the number back ( including changing the last XXXX digits of the XXXX number, the call goes directly to a voicemail answering service ).
During the conversations, I asked who the origination complainant was ... They stated " XXXX '' - Prior to XXXX XXXX, when calling the number, Operators would answer as NPS then give a name ... After XXXX XXXX, the calls switched to foreign accents. The voicemail recordings state that the company is XXXX.

I received numerous voicemails and am typing verbatim the message left.
" This message is intended for XXXX XXXX ( spelled wrong ) my name is XXXX XXXX ( False name ) with XXXX XXXX Customer Service. I'm calling regarding some paperwork that I received in my office yesterday under your name and social security number. You do need to be advised that I have request to place on my schedule a certified notice of intent regarding civil pending claim being filed against you. So before I saw your residence or even your place of employment I'm giving you a courtesy call to inform you you will be placed on my schedule to serve. All questions concerning this matter you need to contact XXXX. Refer your claim number XXXX.
The number referenced is different than the number called from which is XXXX I called back spoke with a person who identified herself as XXXX. I asked for documentation as I was unclear what she was talking about. Her response was I would get the info in court. Out of fear I paid this woman {$100.00} which I will never get back.She also stated there would be a {$120.00} processing fee. She stated she would email a credit card authorization form to me which she did not. I had to change bank accounts and am just trying to warn others. This company is not legitimate.

NB Group has repeatedly contacted me and other fellow family members harassing to collect a fraudent debt that I never owed or attempted any payday loan in the past. They are claim without any physical original contract with my signature a debt they claim I owe a Payday loan which I have never attempted in my life a payday loan. They left voice messages after voice messages with me even after being told to CEASE and DESIST contacting me, XXXX and other at this office XXXX stated they can continue on calling me regardless I told them this was against the federal law. I reminded them today as of XX/XX/XXXX I will be filing a complaint with the CFPB. They need to provide physical proof of my signature and a original contract as I know this is fraud. They claim this happened back in XX/XX/XXXX, which there was identity theft and my personal information was stolen. I have police reports and including and up to my XXXX XXXX being reported my identity was stolen from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. This company NP Group has violated my rights and continue to harass me and others on their list of automated calls as other family members are being harassed as well.

Stating its in my best interest to call back, he has faxed my employer preliminary wage garnishment forms and spoke briefly with my supervisor ... If I do n't respond to item number XXXX, so they can obtain an official statement from me, they will report back to their client to initiate legal proceedings. Number to contact is XXXX. Stated in another message that there are XXXX complaints stemming from my checking account. Their office has been retained to review and prepare this file for litigation against my name and ss # with my local county ( he names my county. ) before such files can continue, we are required by federal, state as well as county law, to show we have made every attempt to contact you and afford you and opportunity to resolve the matter voluntarily ... He goes on and on reading what he 's supposed to ...

I have used this service in the past, it 's been at least over 3 years since I have used a payday loan and all of my loans were paid in FULL by the due dates. I have not been delinquent on any of my accounts. I have NO outstanding payday loans and have not for many years. My father, my sister, my daughter and myself, have been receiving 2-4 harrassing calls PER DAY from NPS. Its a recording that gives a claim number. When I call, the reps are very short, rude, and if asked any pressing questions, will simply hang up on you. They give me a dollar amount I am supposedly delinquent on, but will not give me specifics. I ask for them to send me the debt in writing so I can validate it. They say they will email it, I have yet to receive any documentation. Yet the harrassing phone calls daily to my family and myself continue.

NPS, XXXX XXXX XXXX, continues to contact my cell phone. I have spoken with them once, whereas they refused to provide me with any information about who they were collecting for, but told me if I did n't send them {$4000.00}, I would be served with papers the following day. They would not verify the name of the credit or provide me with any information that this was a valid debt. I sent them a letter asking them to verify the debt and also to cease communications with me and anyone associated with me. I have not received verification of the debt and they have continued to call. Today, they called my office and when I told them I could not speak to them at work, they said " Find, we will contact your Human Resources and start garnishing your paycheck. '' They did then call my Human Resources but then hung up on them.

This agency contacted 3rd parties my brother in law father, who I have no relationship with or talk to at all, Not even sure how they got to him. I contacted the agency on X/XX/17 to advise not to contact anyone other than myself and asked that they remove from contacting anyone but me, they stated they did not have to do that. I advised they are required by law based on the Fair Debt Collection Practices law, which he said that piece of legislation does not apply to them. He ( XXXX ) became very rude and I told him that he needed to do what I asked. He just kept talking and I told him I would be filing a complaint as I had done research on the company and they had a reputation for illegal practices. He then hung up on me.

I am getting repeated calls from XXXX. The message left on my voice mail is a recorded message from " NPS ''. They have never identified who they are, who they are representing, and the nature of the call. If I owe a debt, I want something in WRITING that states who they are, who they are collecting for, and the nature of the debt. I do n't think that 's too much to ask. I will NOT give ANY personal information over the phone until I have all of this information in writing because I do n't know who they are. They can not expect me to give out personal information over the phone without proof of debt.

My family members have been receiving phone calls from a company referred to as NPS Group inquring about my whereabouts. When XXXX of my relatives attempted to retrieve additional information about the debt and the company they were representing, they hung up on her. They have attempted to call me as well, leaving threatening messages on my phone but I have no idea who they are or who they are supposedly attempting to collect a debt on behalf of as I have a recently discharged chapter XXXX bankruptcy and even prior to the filing bankruptcy, I was not receiving debt collection calls of any sort.

XXXX with the NP Group XXXX called me about a online loan that he was trying to collect on. He had my social security number and the last XXXX of my checking with an address I lived at from late XXXX until XXXX XXXX. He said the original amount was XXXX but with the fees and interest it was at XXXX now. He said I could pay XXXX to satisfy this debt. I asked for the name of the company the debt came from. He told me XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked him for their contact info at XXXX XXXX XXXX and he told me that he did not have that. I do n't believe this is a real debt and suspect it it is a scam.

Calls me from Unknown number, says it from s NPS, claims to have mailed me or emailed me items about my debt, says if I dont call them back they are sending a certified letter of intend to appear in Small claims court in my local county. Say they will be out within the hour. I try calling them back and when I ask for more detailed info the say they have me on camera and if I try to ask more questions instead of just handing over more money they tell me they will see me in court and hang up on me. Then they told me I could be taken to court, but when they found out I am on XXXX they said civil action would be taken.
