My wages are being garnished for non-judgment spouse for medical debt that belongs to a man I am not legally married to. Supporting documents include : date he and I were married and date he and his first wife were divorced showing that he was still in a legal marriage to his first wife at the time of our marriage. This is called Bigamy and voids out my marriage to him. I filed a claim of exemption showing this fact but I am still being garnished and have to appear for a hearing.

Company sent information about debt to wrong address. I was never notified and when I checked my credit saw they were on my report. Contact them to pay off and they have a pending lawsuit but I was never given a chance to dispute or pay before lawsuit was filed. When I tried to pay they now demand attorney fees in the amount of {$600.00} when the debt was only {$640.00}.
