On XX/XX/XXXX I had to file a police report for cyber hack and identity theft with the following XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX of NY and Northwest XXXX bank and XXXX XXXX the police XXXX at the time only written in the report what I had access to which at the time was a credit report from XXXX so she took my report her name is XXXX XXXX who works with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX so on the report it shows XXXX XXXX with part of the account number and Balance owed and date it was reported. The second account that was written in the report was XXXX XXXX of NY XXXX with the balance owed and date the account was reported to the credit bureau. On XX/XX/XXXX I have been in contact with a woman who works for northwest XXXX bank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX our conversation was on the telephone her name is XXXX I had explained how I am a victim of identity theft and cyber hack and explained that I had filed a police report on XX/XX/XXXX she was very sarcastic and rude and was taunting me because I do have a learning XXXX and have trouble with comprehension a little not bad and a little trouble with spelling so because I had asked her how do you spell your name she was appalled that I didn't know how to spell her name about the account I owe {$670.00} to Northwest XXXX bank now back in XX/XX/XXXX I had spoken to the branch XXXX who was a man I advised him at the time my account was hacked into and I'm a victim of Identity theft well as I am explaining all of this to her she rudely interrupted me on the phone and starts to talk over me and say that if your looking for any account statements we will not be providing you with any statements and that they have a research department that handles requests for account statement request they charge {$100.00} per hour and {$6.00} per page and that she felt that I should have saved every single statement as they have all been sent in the past I further went on to explain to her I had to go to XXXX XXXX with my husband twice XXXX in XXXX of XXXX for XXXX days and second trip was in XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX for a family emergency I said to her so let me make this right so your saying with everything I told u about me being in contact with your branch XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX then me being cyber hacked and a victim to ID theft you aren't gon na consider taking my police report and filing a dispute or won't give me any account statements she said you bet I am not gon na then says before her research team can get started on my request for statements I would need to pay {$670.00} first then pay {$100.00} per hour and {$6.00} per page copy she had no bedside manner or care for me being a victim to someone using my account with out my permission or knowledge. She also said I am past the 60 day statue of limitations for NY. When it comes to family first of NY XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX I had called on the phone and spoke to a fraud XXXX her name is XXXX I had called her on the phone on XX/XX/XXXX and had a diolog with everything that me and my family have been through with the cyber hack and identity theft and this account was also hacked and told her I am not responsible for the entire balance now I did explain to her I did open this account and yes I did make a transaction but not responsible for the rest due to the fact it's fraud she was also very rude and kept on asking the same question over and over again telling me she used to work for the fbi and that I am past the statue of limitations I told her this isn't my first time this has happen because it happen to me when i banked with XXXX XXXX bank and XXXX and explained that statue of limitations is wrong because why would that bank help me with a claim and not then I asked her I need copies of every bank statement and she told me why what for she then said that I did all the transactions with out hearing me out fully she was rude and not being fair with me and said I would have to drive to the XXXX XXXX branch to get my statements after I have a interview with her she was speaking to me like a police XXXX and was wanting to interrogate me I didn't appreciate her attitude on the first call so after her telling me I would need to be seen in her office in person before any statements can be handed over and have a talk with her on Monday well I called her back and she went over some transactions with me and starts putting words in my mouth that I did every single transaction all because she looked and checked and said that all the transactions were done in the area where I live I told her that doesn't mean I did the transactions and asked her if there was any possibility of me going to the XXXX XXXX where I originally opened my account to get copies of statements she asked why do u want them when I just went through every transaction with you and no u can't you have to come to me I am the only person with your account I told her it was an inconvenience to me to drive XXXX minutes from my house when I have a medical XXXX and am in palliative care she did not care and I asked her can u mail the copies of every statement to my house she then says my address is listed as a bad address that's a lie cause I get all my mail packages medications with no problems so on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX calls again and is wanting me to call her but I don't feel comfortable calling her because of the way I was treated

This is a complicated story, which involves a construction loan that converted to a traditional loan after our contractor abruptly abandoned our project, an acquisition of the initial bank we were working with, a fraudulent lien put on our house by the contractor who left our project ( and released once the courts took a look ) and now a bank who has been charging us interest and principal on {$80000.00} in funds that were never funded to anyone. In addition to paying an interest rate far higher than current rates, the concept of paying interest/principal on significant funds we never saw, for 12 consecutive months, feels like a type of predatory lending and mortgage fraud. Additionally, we missed out on refi'ing at historic low rates in the 2 's recently, as they would not provide a payoff letter while in this dispute. The damages there are losing XXXX point cross 30 years and essentially we lost the ability to cash out at those lows we were at. While we did hire an attorney to try and resolve, they continued to drag things out, while we continued to make our full monthly payments on time, even though we knew we were overpaying each month, on a couple levels. First, we never saw that {$80000.00}. Second, we have been paying an interest rate of 4.875 %, far higher than market rates. Lastly, for the majority of last year we " appeared '' to be in greater debt than we were, as the whole $ XXXX loan was used as our principal balance, when, we only borrowed $ XXXX. This also caused issues during the refi process, as it was hard to explain to the underwriters why there was {$80000.00} in debt included that should have never appeared as a debt. We have been going back and forth with Northwest Bank since spring XXXX when they acquired XXXX XXXX. The people at XXXX XXXX were both helpful and sympathetic to our issues with the contractor who abandoned our project. While we were able to extend our construction loan term for 6 months initially, we were unable to extend it a second time, so the loan converted to a traditional 30-year fixed mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX took the time to explain our unique situation to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Distr Construction Specialist II ) at Northwest Bank, and while they appeared to " get it '' initially, they did not treat us the way XXXX XXXX did. Without us asking for one, Northwest Bank had their legal team draft an initial agreement last XXXX ( XXXX ), stating they would credit our account the interest overpayments, if we signed this document essentially saying we'd pursue no future legal agreements. It is telling that they authored this agreement, as the previous bank simply credited our account when we explained the situation. We were expecting the same here, especially with the knowledge transfer that occurred between XXXX XXXX and Northwest Bank. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( Regional Mortgage Operations Manager - NMLS # XXXX ) sent a revised Construction Loan Modification Agreement over, again, asking us to sign our rights away, for us to have {$3000.00} credited towards our principal ( less than they owe us ). I was advised by someone else to not sign this, eat the money, and file a formal complaint with the CFPB. i was also advised to report Northwest Bank to the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection, Indiana Department of Financial Institutions, Indiana Attorney General, Pennsylvania Department of Banking & Securities, and the Pennslyvania Attorney General. IN and PA specifically b/c the local branch of Northwest Bank is in IN and their headquarters are in PA. In the end, they were waiting for our Certificate of Occupancy, which took forever to get due to the issues the previous contractor left unresolved and trying to work through all of this during a global pandemic. We provided the COO on XX/XX/XXXX, at which point, that {$80000.00} we never borrowed was quickly applied to our principal, on XX/XX/XXXX. However, we still made 12 monthly payments, never late, paying approximately $ XXXX more than our new loan will be, paying on what was borrowed, at current rates. We have also incurred legal fees during this ordeal, which was either caused by incompetence, negligence, or something else. We, the consumers, did absolutely nothing wrong during this entire fiasco. While we would like them to make things right financially, as they clearly took advantage of us, my wife and I would not want any other consumer to experience this. The constant stress and sleepless nights combined with the financial implications of overpaying each month, even though everyone knew it was wrong, should not be something that is permissible. We finally have our payoff letter and will be refi 'd with a reputable lender before our XXXX payment is due, however, we wanted to get our complaint filed while we are still a Northwest Bank customer. I realize theres a lot to digest here and I am happy to answer any questions over the phone ( XXXX ) or via email at XXXX. I also have countless emails on this matter and am happy to turn over whatever is necessary for this investigation. Thank you for being an advocate for the consumer, as it was clear, even with an attorney helping, this bank had no interest in doing the right thing and to this day, has never been able to explain why they kept that {$80000.00} they knew we were never going to need/borrow.

I opened a money market account with Northwest bank. I had a pretty substantial balance at one point in this account. I withdrew {$23000.00} from the account at one point. Then a few months later I withdrew {$2500.00}. I cant recall which transaction the conversation took place at but I VIVIDLY remember going into the XXXX XXXX branch of Northwest bank and asking the employee handling my request about the fee ( s ) involved in this, as I remember discussing fees at the time of opening the account. From my recollection at the time of opening, we discussed a fee if your account drops below a certain amount. So when I asked the employee to remind me what the fee ( s ) consisted of for having the account drop below the minimum needed, she told me there was a one time fee of {$10.00}. With that, I left the account open, as I didnt think a one time {$10.00} fee was a big deal. Fast forward to now and my account did drop below the minimum amount. However, since I remembered her saying it was a one time fee I didnt worry about the account. Then I recently checked the account after my spouse deposited {$100.00} into the account and realizing that not only had all of that money been taken from us to in recurring {$10.00} fees but also that the account was over-drafted for additional {$10.00} fees. With this, I planned on contacting the bank. Before I contacted them, I received an email from an associate explaining that they wanted to inquire about what we wanted to do with the account. I have emailed back and forth with a couple employees now, with the last one being an assistant manager at the branch. I had first asked to be refunded for the fees and then close the account. The employee informed me that they could submit a request but that the bank usually denies fee refund requests. Then she got back to me and low and behold they denied the request. I asked to speak to someone else about this which led me to an assistant manager who said they could refund me for only one {$10.00} fee. I re-explained the situation and asked for them to reassess. They got back to me again and asked me for information like date and name of employee who initially told me about the one time fee and then the assistant manager said the bank doesnt refund fees and that she put {$10.00} of her own money into my account to avoid an overdraft fee, along with other information all basically saying that there is nothing they can do and that they will be closing the account. I have been a customer at many different banks and also have multiple family members who work for banks and I have never encountered any issue with a bank refunded me for a fee and the family members have told me that their banks would never withhold money from a client after they were wrongfully informed by an employee. All I am asking for is to be refunded for the money that was left in the account after the account dropping below the minimum of {$2500.00} and any money that was deposited after ( if my calculations are correct from my statements it should be {$100.00} ). Unfortunately the bank is failing a customer and also will be losing two customers ( myself and my spouse ) because of this. I feel at a complete loss right now because I cant seem to get through to the bank and anyone that I speak with seems to not want to help and says there is nothing more that can be done. From my experience, I know that all it takes is the proper person is charge to bypass whatever rule ( s ) they are following and grant the request. I feel I am not asking for a lot here. Just simply asking for my money refunded to me. I truly hope someone can help me with this issue. Thank you in advance.

Extremely brutal, acting secretly conspired, extremely dangerously, with no hesitation demonstrating outrageous power abuse at the Northwest Bank, bank manager XXXX XXXX. OnXX/XX/2019 he welcomed me with my translator and DPOA representative to do an international wire transfer and he did not tell at the beginning that we will need to come back on Monday, because at that point we could leave and just comeback on Monday. We have been sitting at his office for over 45 and up minutes to do paper work and after that he went to send the paper work for transfer to wire department. After his return he suddenly said that we will need to come back on Monday to sign the confirmation. He was acting strange. He said he needs to make a copy print of bank information for recipient. We felt like he is planning something and trying to do something bad to us. He did not give us a choice, he said it is requirement to get a bank information copy and went to do the copy. It took over 15 minutes. After that we felt something definetely is not right. He already put all the information on the system, so why he needs a copy of the bank information printed on paper? We asked for confirmation of wire transfer papers that he worked on and we spent over one hour, he said that he is not liable to give us anything. We came on Monday morning XX/XX/2019 little bit after XXXX XXXX. He was acting strange and definitely stretched the time and was acting busy with other employee XXXX. We have been waiting 2,5 hours and we asked how long does that process work, he said, he could not give us the time frame. He asked for best call number to call. He was acting like he and somebody else at the bank or maybe not at the bank thinking how do not do my wire transfer. We asked for information and rules for a wire transfer, for call number to that department that process wire transfers and may have questions to us, we asked to ask them to cal us if they have any questions. Every our request for that information was denied.It feels like with every our question the manager was getting annoyed and finally he called only me without my translator and representative and some man on the phone without introduction began telling me that the bank denied my request to do the wire transfer.My representative was not welcomed by manager and he tried to push her out. She asked the name of that person on the phone and they both refused to provide it. They refused to provide the valuable reason to deny to send wire transfer.This happens often when dishonest people hear the accent or knows that they can an advantage of my insufficient English, they do take an advantage. We felt that they want to do something with money that I already was late to send. Secret conspiracy, obstruction with false reason that bank trying to take care of me and prevent me from scammers was sound ridiculous and bank manager was look like a scammer that spy on me to target. What did they do for 2 and half hours keeping me in the dark and foolish around me and my representative. In the end the bank refused to give a cashier's check in my name to put it whenever I want to in my name, but he demanded to give the name of the other bank or person and refused to write it in my name. He said that bank cannot give me any cash at all. The manager was inconsistent and lied and demonstrated his unfair practices in front of other bank employee XXXX. He made us sick. How mentally unstable people can get such important job at the bank? We felt that bank might want that money to do something for the bank. He offered to get cash on Wednesday only.

I have a loan on a XXXX XXXX through Northwest Bank and have been paying on it since XXXX, in that time I have never missed a payment. In XXXX i realized i was out of loan payment slips to send in my payment. When logging into their mobile app to find contact info I was informed that I could now link an external account to make loan payments directly through the app, with the payment transferring directly from my checking account. I submitted all account info and waited on the trial deposits required for account verification. After three days the deposits were made and I logged into app toverify and make payment. I initiated a transfer of {$600.00} from my XXXX XXXX checking account to the loan, after i completed it I got a confirmation screen saying the transfer had been initiated. Early XXXX I receive a notification from a credit monitoring service saying that I had negative information on my report, upon checking it I was informed that Northwest had reported that I was over 30 days late on my account. I immediately called and explained that I had made the payment through their app. They told me they had never received it so at that time I made that payment and the next payment due at the same time. I asked them if they could remove the 30 day late mark on my credit since their app had told me it had been initiated, they told me if I did not have a screenshot to prove it then I was out of luck. When I asked why I wasnt emailed regarding my account like every other bank I use does they informed me that a letter had been sent and claimed that voicemails had been left. ( i never received an voicemails or a letter in the mail ) I called again on XX/XX/XXXX after I recieved a notification from another credit bureau regarding the late payment, during the course of tis call they asked me all of the same security questions that they have been asking since XXXX to access my account via phone. Those questions include your full address, and during this conversation I was told that I hadn't supplied the right address, I then gave them my previous address and once again they told me it was not correct. At this time I gave them the address that I had lived in in XXXX and was finally correct. When I questioned why I was never told that I was giving the incorrect address, they argued that I never changed my address and it wasnt their responsibility. But my argument was why over the years was I allowed access to a secure account even though I was not providing the correct address which was used as a security question to access said account, and had they informed me that my answer was incorrect in one of the many calls I had made since leaving that address then I would have got the letter that they claim they sent to notify me that my payment was late before it got to be XXXX days delinquent. I have had a perfect payment history with Northwest bank for the life of the loan as well as all of my other creditors, and now have a negative remark on my credit report that will stick with me and adversely effect my score for the next XXXX years due to failures on many of levels.

Check deposited on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, was posted and available on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, between XXXX money was available not just current and 100 % processed, then switched to unavailable and put on another hold after already being fully processed, ( THE CHECK WAS ALREADY PAID AND DEPOSITED FROM THE PAYEE ACCOUNT ) I obviously was very concerned especially with the Holiday and expressed that religiously and reached out multiple times in several different ways, at one point I spent over a hour on the phone just to keep being told they couldnt help me with anything and they kept putting me on hold for another department, I explained the issues and clarified this was unacceptable, the refusal to be any help over phone to me was unacceptable, and the only way they can help and unlock my account and give me access to my funds was to come to a local branch with in there time schedule and they treated me very uncaringly. I was left with no choice to leave work especially after receiving confirmation of the check being paid in full from the other bank! I drove 32min to North West Bank local branch in XXXX in XXXX XXXX were I met with XXXX inside the bank who spent over the first 20minutes on and off the phone trying to get into her own computer, I addressed the problem respectfully, provided all my information, and proof of payment being sent processed received etc, she had some knowledge of the issue from one of the brief phone calls Ive made prior to coming in person. I spent a additional hour and half taking turns on the banks phone with XXXX speaking to someone in another department, verifying all my information to them as well as XXXX pleading all my info matched up and I provided her with proof of payment and she strongly advised the person on the phone that I am who I said I am, the person on the phone name was XXXX also I blew was very disrespectful, aggressive, treated me as a burden with no remorse or anything, didnt care about the holiday or about all I had to do just to come to branch, he refused to unlock my account and give me access to any of my money, threatened me, etc!! Most answer I got is I can do whatever I want with your money and your account and because your making my day difficulties Im keeping your account restricted and not rereleasing any part of your money for another 7 days, O refrained from acting the way I should and prepared to leave, receiving a very basic apology from XXXX with no significant sincere and was offered to open a saving account, I left and now here I am screwed, IVE PROVIDED PROOF IN THE SCREENSHOTS IN REGARDS OF MY MONEY BEING AVAILABLE AND THEN BEING WRONFULY SWITCHED TO ON HOLD AND NOT AVAILABLE I ALSO INCLUDED PROOF OF CHECK BEING PAID ETC, I will directly file a police report if Im advised to by legal team of this matter and will make sure this robbery and the person on the phone is investigated and action of the matters will be taken against all involved if not respectfully handled immediately and my money, account access is not granted!

Short story is that they are not and are delaying awarding a new customer checking account bonus that they acknowledge I earned. Long story, Northwest Bank is running a promotion to open their XXXX XXXX checking account, and when you meet certain requirements, you get {$500.00}. I was made aware of this promotion via letter to my house with the code XXXX on it. On XX/XX/XXXX, I used the code and opened the account online. I have screenshots of both the letter and the specific page where you type in the code and click continue. Fast forward to when I met the requirements, which are 1. open by XX/XX/XXXX, 2. direct deposit at least {$2000.00} in 2 consecutive statement cycles within the first 3 cycles. I did this on the first 2 and as noted, opened the account on XX/XX/XXXX well before XX/XX/XXXX. My cycle is on the XXXX or XXXX, so I was due the bonus on XXXX, but the letter says the bonus will be deposited 7 days after the cycle date, so the XXXX. I wanted to double check so I messaged their customer service on XX/XX/XXXX and asked if I did indeed meet the requirements and should be expecting the bonus. The next day, on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX from Customer Service wrote back that I me the requirements and because the XXXX is a Saturday, I should look for the bonus on the next business day. So I assumed I would see it on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. It wasn't there. On XX/XX/XXXX, I messaged that my bonus was not there and it's been 10 days since I met the requirements. I got no response and have still not received a response today XX/XX/XXXX. I called a few times in between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, and was told by customer service reps that they were told no promotional code was added and they had to investigate. I told them the code I used and that I had a screenshot. They did not ask to see the screenshot. On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX, I was told I definitely earned the bonus but because the code didn't submit, they have to manually enter it and this could take a week. I pressed for faster action and XXXX said she escalated it to the Managers and that it could be done as quickly as today ( XX/XX/XXXX ). It never came for the next 2 days. Today, I get a call from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX saying I have to wait and the bonus will be deposited on XXXX. It's lies and lies and they won't write anything down in messages or emails so nothing is tracked. See 3 screenshots, the letter with the code, the page I submitted the code, XXXX recognizing I met the requirements and XXXX saying I will be paid. They are avoiding or delaying paying new customer bonuses and saying I did not submit the code, which I can not prove them wrong because they don't care to see evidence. Why I think they are being fraudulent is the numerous delays, and 1 main point. If they say they have to manually type in the bonus, and said they will, why does it matter if it is awarded on the next cycle date, XXXX. The next cycle date is irrelevant because the bonus was met on XXXX.

I had an original mortgage with northwest XXXX bank. I did not escrow. Northwest bank sold my mortgage to XXXX with a first payment due to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX charged my mortgage account for an entry to escrow of {$1100.00} to pay for homeowners insurance. At no point in time has my homeowners insurance changed or been delinquent either with northwest, during the sale of the mortgage, or with XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a second notice letter from XXXX stating that I was responsible to immediately provide XXXX with homeowner insurance information including me being required to have my new loan number and property address on a renewal policy of reinstatement and mail to XXXX with a loss payee clause. Also within this notice it provided an online option to execute this action. I logged into the website as well as the co-borrower and it required us to input our complete social security number at which time neither of us did as that did not appear to be prudent. On XX/XX/XXXX when I was looking to see if my XXXX payment was credited to my account. I noticed the charge to escrow of {$1100.00} as mentioned above. On XX/XX/XXXX the co-borrower collected up our insurance information and presented to XXXX. They accepted the documents and indicated the charge would be reversed within a weeks time. I have an issue with the fact that : 1-if the bank sold my mortgage, then would they not be responsible to notify my insurance agent as well as instruct them as to whom the new bank is so the new account information is with the insurance company as well as the insurance policy having the new borrower XXXX listed as ISAOA? 2- had I not noticed this escrow charge in my account transactions, the bank would have had this money, charged my account all while I was also paying my private insurance company. 3-why is it the customers responsibility To update this documentation? 4-what if this was flood insurance, would the bank selling or transferring the loan not be required to inform the insurance agent the change in owner of the loan I.e., the new bank? This whole thing was unfair and cause undo harm and stress to both myself and the co-borrower.

on XX/XX/2023, Northwest Bank Routing number XXXX XXXX, PA. Northwest used Right of Offset on a Joint Account without my knowledge ( I was not the at-fault account holder ). I called an explained the situation and the supervisor, XXXX, said it's their right to obtain their money anyway possible, even if it causes overdraft fees. The amount they took out was over half of what was in the account, less than {$1000.00} in account at the time. He didn't care and said if the autopay bills overdraft, I will be responsible for those fees as well. I explained I was not notified of any Right of Offset and he said I will be receiving notification in 3-5 business days AFTER the fact. I asked why I wasn't notified because I am an account holder, and he said the business is with the other party and I'm not subject to that information. This is unethical! I should be notified of any penalties BEFORE any actions are assessed. I wasn't given a chance to get my name off the account or any other action. Furthermore, I was not aware of the other account holder 's delinquency with a previous account. This should not be allowed by ANY institution. I feel victimized in this process and will now be held liable for any additional fees the bank decided to help themselves in obtaining KNOWING FULL WELL the Right of Offset would cause the account to become delinquent. I was not treated fairly, with respect, as a member in good standing, or as a citizen of the US. If the bank has issues with the other account holder, those issues should have been handled in a different manner and leave me out of it. Now, I'm out over {$500.00} and probably more. Bank will not refund all funds stolen from account, due to identity theft/fraud. We opened an online savings account with Northwest Bank and we assured, in an email from the customer service person that opened the account, that if we needed to withdraw a large amount of money that we could do so by visiting a local branch. We were told that a cashiers check could be obtained anytime. We had an initial deposit, on XX/XX/XXXX, via a bank to bank transfer. After having numerous problems with the bank we decided to just continue with our original bank. I visited the local branch on XX/XX/XXXX, to closer the account and was informed that I could not because our funds were being held. The branch manager brought me into her office and made some calls to find out why our funds would be held, as they were bank to bank transfers and a cash deposit. The bank that the funds came from showed that they were indeed transferred. While on the phone, she was informed that she had the ability to lift the freeze on the funds but seeing as I was a new customer, she did not want to do so. She could not understand or give me an explanation to why this was being done and agreed that the funds should not be frozen. She was going to file an internal complaint for me on Friday XX/XX/XXXX. I applied for a {$40000.00} equity loan in XXXX. In XXXX the deed was tranferred into my son 's name and recorded into record. At that point I was officially as mandated by law, in breach or default of my contract. I am a natural person and individual consumer additionally this situation this is regarding a residence. I was led to believe that a contract containing a conovit clause was illegal in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania unlessthe transaction conducted was of a commercial nature. This is a blatent attempt of deceitful practice. Futher more, the FDIC made a statement during the Covid 19 pandemic that they would not criticize institutions for waiving late fees and overdrafts etc. and in fact encouraged such practices by banking institutions for the best interest of the consumer and communities. I just received a letter from XXXX XXXX informing me that my loan had been purchased by XXXX from my current loan servicer ( a bank ) and that my existing loan terms, payments, and condition of the mortgage would not be affected and my servicer would remain the same. My servicer offers mortgage customers the opportunity to buy down their mortgage rate and the ability to go from a 30-year to a 15-year note for {$1500.00}. I have been tracking the rate for several months and wanted to lock in when it could be reduced by at least one percentage point from my existing rate. However, I was told by my servicer today that this option is no longer available to me now that XXXX XXXX purchased my loan, as this would be considered a modification. However, they do allow modifications if I were financially unable to make my payments, but they won't allow a modification related to an interest rate buy down. This is directly harmful to me, as I had no say in whether my loan would be purchased by XXXX, yet now I've lost a beneficial program as a result. My only option is to refinance the mortgage, which would cost significantly more ( $ XXXX $ XXXX XXXX than the program my servicer offers to their mortgage customers. Northwest Bank had my auto loan. I received XXXX bills in XXXX, XXXX normal and XXXX with a large lump sum. I called in and the representative told me not to worry about it and took a normal payment from me. This is noted in their accounts. This is also the last notation any employee has made. I was contacted in XXXX asking me why I am making small partial payments for a lump sum bill. When I told them about my conversation in XXXX and the payment I made then I was told that I was incorrect and that it did not happen. The lump sum for a " lapse in insurance coverage '' from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I told them that was impossible, I've had the same insurance coverage from XXXX XXXX working with the same local representative, XXXX, at the same office in my home town since 2007. I contacted my insurance company and they claim I did not set up my insurance after buying the car. This is false. My wife purchased a new vehicle through XXXX and her loan was set up through Northwest Bank. When she set it up, she was told she would be sent information in the mail with account number information on how to set it up. She never received this information and when she called to try to pay over the phone, she was told she couldnt because she didnt have her account number. This went back and forth for months ( they called me and harassed me multiple times on my work phone too ) and anytime wed call to try to pay, they werent able to help us. We finally connected with someone about a month ago and they told us your car is in repossession status and you have 2 days to send us a cashiers check for roughly {$2600.00} or else your car will be repossessed. They told us they had sent something in the mail about this ( which we never received ). We told them we had tried to pay for months but their agency was extremely unhelpful/rude/condescending and werent able to help us pay. The car is paid up-to-date now but this saga crushed both of our credit scores which is extremely unfair. My credit history was spotless before this situation happened and they havent done anything to rectify it. I did not want two different payments withdrawn from my account. I assumed if the money was not in the account the payments would not be made just like if you make a purchase online, if the funds are unavailable the purchase does not go thru. We went through the online process to open the free checking account online. It clearly stated there was no fee based on certain selections. One of those selections was estatements, but if you elected for paper statements there would be a fee. I believed I went through everything online to set up the account and elect for online statements so that there was no fee. When we get our first statement, it comes through the mail and we see a statement fee on that statement. We call a rep, don't get anywhere, request a manager, don't get anywhere, go to the local branch, and still don't get anywhere. They were very matter of fact and nonchalant and didn't seem to care they had a disgruntled customer or was losing business. They did advise that there was no way possible to sign up for estatements when signing up for the account and that it was going to automatically send us a paper statement until I logged back into the account and elected for estatements at that time unbeknownst to me. I also couldn't log back in immediately as there were several days before the online account was available to be accessed. So it seems they had some deceptive practices trying to trick a customer in getting paper statements instead of intuitively being easy to sign up for when signing up for the account.

I am a victim of fraud by someone who used a fake XXXX account to sell tickets to XXXX XXXX in XXXX. I used XXXX through my Northwest Bank account. I do understand I agreed to the transactions, but only before I found out I was being scammed. I sent {$1200.00} total and filed a police report with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I immediately contacted Northwest Bank and filed a dispute. Northwest has denied my dispute and I contacted XXXX directly they would not reimburse. This was a complete scam and the money was sent to someone who I thought I knew and turns out she was hacked and wasn't aware of this. This has been an eye opening experience into the fraud that happens online. The police said there is not a likely chance they will be brought to justice. It very upsetting this has happened to me. I found out that I was receiving a very low rate on my XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Market account as opposed to other XXXX XXXX XXXX Market account holders, and the rate disclosed by Northwest Bank 's website. I have been receiving a rate of .46 % while Northwest Banks published rate sheet discloses the rate I should have been receiving as 2.25 % as of XX/XX/XXXX. That rate sheet is still the rate sheet in effect and on Northwest Bank 's website today. Nowhere on their rate sheet, or website do I find the interest rate that I have been receiving. After much effort I was able to get the bank to change my rate to 2.25 % as of XX/XX/XXXX. That does not make me whole. I initiated a complaint with Northwest Bank to receive the accrued interest to which I believe I am entitled and today received their response. NO. So apparently, Northwest Bank customers with the exact same account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX Market ), with the exact same name ( XXXX XXXX XXXX Market ) in the exact same region, with the exact same requirements to maintain the account can be treated differently when it comes to the interest they pay on the account. My previous compliant, # XXXX, submitted on XX/XX/22 was not addressed by Northwest Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX did not address my compliant. She referred to a previous compliant, stated they reviewed previous documentation provided by myself and that I did not submit a new issue. Everything I submitted XX/XX/22 pertaining to advances being taken on my parents equity loan that they did not take, is not the same documents I previously submitted to Northwest about the fraud. I paid off my {$15000.00} loan on XX/XX/XXXX. I called Northwest XXXX Bank at the time and spoke with service rep, XXXX, to see if there were additional charges to completely pay off the loan. She told me {$7.00} would completely pay it off. I made the payment and I asked again if there were any additional charges and she stated, " No, there is nothing additional. '' One year and six months later, I recently my credit report and discovered that an additional {$91.00} in fees had been added to the loan on XX/XX/XXXX, which significantly lowered my XXXX XXXX. I contacted Northwest XXXX Bank and spoke with Loan Officer, XXXX, who basically told me she couldn't help me and that I had to pay the additional {$91.00} to close the account and they would get back to me as to whether they could adjust my credit report once that was done. I paid the {$91.00}. I have not gotten an answer yet as to if they will notify the credit bureaus that a payment was made. Due to Covid 19 and not getting paid I did not use my checking account with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Pennsylvania. In XX/XX/XXXX my mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX was transferred to Northwest to oversee my acct. I filed a dispute with your agency against Northwest and a decision was made that my claims should not be against Northwest but against XXXX Since then XXXX has filed and rescinded the foreclosure on my property. There is currently a complaint against XXXX with the Attorney Generals Office. My attorney is still waiting for XXXX to get back to them on how they are going to negate the issues. After reviewing my credit report I found that Northwest was reporting to the credit bureaus. I contacted them in XX/XX/XXXXand ask them to remove the account at least until we know the outcome of my case since it is still pending and no decision is made. The representative said they has to contact XXXX and will call me back. When the rep called me back she said XXXX said that if I had a problem to contact them. When I contacted XXXX they never addressed my issue about the Northwest but continued to go back and forth about the pending case. Therefore contacting you is my only way of resolving this.

I made a deposit in the amount of {$18000.00}. on XX/XX/24. This deposit was from my insurance company XXXX XXXX. Northwest bank placed a hold on MY money for 7 days. I spoke to my insurance company the money has been taken out of their account and cleared. I had one person from the bank tell me I could have access to MY money on XXXX and another person told me I cant withdraw MY money until XXXX. I now am not sure how many more days I have to go with no money. My disclosure from Northwest states a 3-5 day hold unless you have been in the negative or account is not in good standing. My account is and has been in good standing. I fully believe Northwest bank is a XXXX bank and judged me by the XXXX of my skin and the car I was driving ( my sons old pickup truck because my car was totaled in an accident ) when they placed a 7 day hold on the check. I was told it is at the discretion of the bank how long the check is on hold. Northwest has the money from my insurance company and they should not get to hold it and make interest off of it for 7 days.

On XX/XX/2023 I asked the chat rep thru the account portal how to avoid the {$5.00} monthly fees and was told the balance needed to be above {$300.00}. I transferred {$200.00} to make the balance XXXX from XXXX through the end of the month. On XX/XX/2023 I was charged {$5.00} again. I noticed it today on XX/XX/2023 and contacted chat support again. This time I was told it's an average balance. With today being the 9th, the average will be below {$300.00} at the end of this month, thereby guaranteeing I'm billed another {$5.00} fee. I feel they should have stated that it's based on an average so that I would have moved more over. Instead they leave you just enough information to keep you in this endless loop of fees. Up until XX/XX/2023 my average balance of all accounts with this bank was {$70000.00}, yet they still saw it fit to charge me fees on the smallest one. I closed the small account today.

Hi,, I have a small checking account for years at Northwest Bank in XXXX XXXX, which I use primarily for paying charities. I had made a transfer from my main bank, XXXX XXXX, which I have done numerous times in the past to this account. The transfer was sent and deposited into my account. Then a few charges came through from the different charities and such and were paid. Three or four days later the transfer was reversed and all the payments were charged XXXX for overdraft. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from XXXX XXXX who is the XXXX XXXX for Northwest Bank. They stated that I just got a disclosure which they did not send me for my review. Northwest Bank attempted to rob me of XXXX $ I have a loan that matures on XXXX XX/XX/2023. Today I attempted to pay said loan off, and requested the payoff number cost. They told me I owned {$40.00} in addition to the standard principal and interest. I told them that was impossible. They proceeded to indicate the additional {$40.00} was a fee for recording the loan payoff with the local government. Unfortunately for them I actually have all my loan documents. The Recording fee is clear part of my Main loan closing costs. ( this was a line of credit and the security interest was held within the Main loan as is clear referenced in the LOC documentation ) I explicitly told them to calculate the current principle and interest to pay off this loan, which I then proceeded to pay. I realize {$40.00} is a tiny fee, but I refuse to let them steal if from me.

I had a check run through twice. Check # XXXX ran correctly for {$650.00}, then ran again, incorrectly for {$670.00}. I wrote the check XX/XX/XXXX, they were debited on XX/XX/XXXX. Northwest Bank. In XXXX, i called Northwest Bank to make payment on the phone and the lady that attended to me told me she was having problem with her computer and she transfered me to the automated line to make payment. I made the payment. Few days after checking my statement, i realized the automated line didn't record my payment. XX/XX/XXXX, i received 30 day late payment on my credit. This mistake wouldn't have occured if their automated line recorded my payment that was made in XXXX. I contacted Northwest Bank in XX/XX/2023 to get a clarification on the amount owed for my monthly mortgage payment since the amount kept varying with no explanation. The customer service agent said someone would look into it and me call me back to explain. I did not receive an explanation. I contacted Northwest today because at least my last payment was credited incorrectly. And prior payments seem to be credited to principal or interest with no rhyme or reason. I was hung up on and lice chat ended several times today while trying to get answers. This company is unable to explain how my payments are credited.
