I have been getting repeated calls from a company call XXXX or XXXX. The say that I have made an agreement with their company and that something has happened to where I need to resolve it. I have never dealt with this company before. I did use payday loans in 2012 and I have paid those debts off so I know that I do n't have a debt with these people. I have researched the phone numbers used for them ( they call from a Delaware number but leave a different number to call back ) and have found they call other people claiming the same thing and others have found it to be a scam. They also recently contacted my mother to get some information and I am not a minor, so I know that it was wrong/illegal for them to do that. ( I was not a minor when I incurred any of my debts either. ) I do n't answer when they call because I do not answer numbers I do n't recognize but they do leave me voice-mail messages. I get several calls in a week and it is a problem because I do n't owe any debts other than ones on my credit report. I am feeling harassed by these people and it needs to stop. [ The number they call from is XXXX and the number left for a return call is XXXX. ) I have fallen victim before and I just want others to know not to take everything at face value.

About two weeks ago got a call from a lady looking for my brother-in-law who lives in ohio. I took her number and stated I would relay it when I talked to him. A week later she called again, I told her I had not discussed it with him yet but would. I then started getting auto ( robot ) calls to take care of this debt. The debt is not mine, I am on a no call list and am not responsible for my brother-in-laws debts. The calls are coming from XXXX, Illinois the number on caller ID is ( XXXX ) XXXX, when I discussed it with the people who would only provide the company name of Northern Alliance, they told me they did n't like the tone of my voice and may just keep it on the IT list to call. I do talk loud XXXX but is that a reason to use such tactics against people who they know do not owe the debt? So not only are they breaking the XXXX no-call laws ( because they know the debt is n't mine ) they are harassing me in attempts that I will strong-arm my brother-in-law. What they are doing is not only wrong, I feel it is illegal and morally wrong. I want the calls to stop, I have excellent credit ( at or over XXXX ) but that does n't make me responsible for debts made by my relatives much less those by marriage.

XXXX XXXX, 2015 XXXX - Have received more than 8 calls on my cell phone from XXXX. I called the number and asked why they were calling. Individual immediately hung up the phone. Called back four times until finally the same individual decided to speak with me. He identified himself as working for an organization called NAM, and gave their website as website nam-llc.us. I asked for his mailing address, and he told me to go to their website to get it. He then told me that he was calling on behalf of a debt from XXXX regarding a delinquent overdraft and mentioned XXXX. I asked him if this was an attempt to collect a debt and he said yes. I told him that I wanted no further phone calls pursuant to the FDCPA and that all communication with me must take place in writing. Found address on website as XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX DE XXXX. XXXX XXXX, 2015 XXXX - Mailed cease-and desist to NAM LLC at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX DE XXXX, certified, return receipt requested. XXXX XXXX, 2015 - Received cease and desist mailed to NAM LLC returned as 'return to sender vacant unable to forward. '' I checked the nam-llc.us website and found that it still publishes the same address that was returned as vacant.

Northern Alliance Management/NAM contacted numerous times threatening to call the " feds '' on me bc I supposedly owe a credit card bill. They refuse to provide debt validation only a pay off offer and that 's on via email. They scream at you and then hang up on you. They have been advised until they send us via US mail a debt validation letter not to contact us. It 's in my name only but continue to call my husbands place of business looking for me. They have both my home and cell. They leave rambling messages on vm stating they 'll either come and pick me up or come serve me papers or call the " Feds '' to come and get me. When they leave a vm they do n't advise it 's an attempt to collect a debt nor do they do so once they have you live on the line. They use numerous phone numbers to contact me via. They use a robo caller asking for me to hold for the next available rep. We informed them we suffered ID theft therefore we needed the debt validation letter, I was told that yup all dead beats as myself who refuse to pay her bills say such.

I received a message from a family member that XXXX associates were trying to get a hold of me. I called the company with the correct case # and the gentlemen ( who did not provide his name ) asked if I was me by name and I said yes. I asked for the company name and he provided then started to go into details of a debt that I am unsure of without letting me know it was a debt collection call. I asked for info to be mailed to me at my address on file. He started to get hostile and claimed I have already received notices and kept trying to verify personal information. I claimed I have not received any notices and he asked why have n't I been paying my bills then. I told him I do n't have an account from the company they claim is the original creditor and to send me proof by mail. He kept trying to get me to verify personal information and I told him I am not verifying any personal information on the phone and he hung up on me.

This debt collection agency has been impersonating my law firm. When pressed by the consumer to identify themselves, the collectors claim to be calling from a law office by the name of " Nam XXXX XXXX ''. This is the trade name of my law practice, and this agency is in no way affiliated or associated with me or my law firm. The agency is also not a law office. Due to this deceptive practice I have been receiving calls from confused and angry consumers who mistakenly believe that they have been contacted by me or my office. A web search also reveals that consumers are posting the same complaints, so when a search is conducted of my law firm, these complaints pop up, wrongfully linked to my trade name. They also complain that the collectors make other misrepresentations and threats such as that they will levy the consumer 's social security benefits.

Northern Alliance Management, LLC contacted a friend of mine asking for me. The representative became rude when she told them to call me. She provided me with their contact information XXXX. When I called the company back the representative informed me they do not have my social security number on file and asked me to provide my social security number. When I refused to provide my social security number the representative became very rude, informed my the information was being sent to my local county courts to take action, and then she hung up. I still do not know what debt this company is trying to collect on.

Northern Alliance Management with telephone numbers XXXX and XXXX constantly calls my cell phone repeatedly When I returned the to XXXX XXXX she transferred me to some who was rude, threatening and hung the phone up on me. I called back to speak with the employee but then they just kept me on hold for a long period of time. When asked if they could send me something in writing that 's when the employee became rude. He quoted me owing XXXX different amounts that I supposedly owe, so I asked for something in writing and that 's when the employee became rude and hung up the phone on me.

The caller threatened wage garnishment for a criminal complaint and said this was the final notice. I do have never had any criminal proceedings nor do I have a criminal record. The caller stated his name was XXXX XXXX from NAM Associates at XXXX. I was unable to find any information on this person and the NAM Associates I was able to find is in XXXX, NY and a forecasting agency with a phone number listed in XXXX.

I have no idea who this company is collecting for as they have never identified themselves. The recorded message states that they have attempted to call me 5 times, which is not true. The message goes on to say legal action will be taken if I do not return their call. They never identify who they are by giving their company name. I have a right to know this before I give personal information out over the phone.

Company NAM, LLC has been calling me and other family members about a closed bank account, saying I owe money on this account. I asked that they mail me information about this account, they refused. Company NAM continues to call my cell phone even though the debt is for the person who had my phone number prior to me. I have told them to stop calling and they continue to do so. When I call to tell them I am not the debtor, they hang up as quickly as possible to avoid having to remove my number. People are rude and threatening. Their Phone number is XXXX

Northern alliance group called saying they were going to notify employer. They wouldnt tell me what loan was for ( amount ) and who it was from. Just what I could pay to take of it. They just wanted me to make arrangements for payment, not interested in sending me information on so called loan. Nor would they give their address and original amount of loan

This collection agency, repeatedly calls my husbands number and sons number. To inquire about me after being told repeatedly to stop calling. They call from a ( XXXX ) XXXX and say to call another number which is XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX. To resolve this issue.

I owed {$75.00} for my iPhone and I was never contacted about my card never bring charge 2 years later. I get a call from a collections agency that my debt is now {$700.00} dollars. This is n't fair!
