Misleading advertising and impersonating customers. Nationwide Loan Consultants out of XXXX XXXX, Florida. I was told I qualified for a loan through XX/XX/XXXXThey told me I could get 5..99 % apr for 60 months and gave me 3 loan amounts and monthly payments. When I called and talked to XXXX XXXX he told me I was approved for a debt consolidation loan. I told him my cards are not delinquent and creditors do not typically settle debts unless they are past 90 days past due. To which he responded you have to take several steps back to go forward. I told him no and he referred me to Nationwide. I then talked to XXXX, who I asked several times if my credit would be pulled outside of their soft pull and was told no. I then received a call from XXXX telling me she had offer for what I was looking for and she already had a login and a password? That was worrisome because she was impersonating me. I have a text with the email she " set '' up for me. I went through the info and received a decline. XXXX stated that was probably due to XXXX XXXX XXXX doing a hard pull on my credit, I asked her how when I have not had a conversation and I repeatedly asked XXXX during our reported call if hard pulls would happened and he assured me they would not. When I called XX/XX/XXXX they were concerned about how I got to them and stated they do not even work with loan brokers and even though I qualified they were not able to do the loan. They also stated they have been having issues with Nationwide doing this and it was not legal. I was told by Nationwide that they charge a 9.9 % fee that is taken out of the loan. That also was not true. XX/XX/XXXX stated I should only be billed for the loan and the origination fee and stated they had to close out the loan app. I called XXXX to tell her and she said I shouldn't worry about hard pulls because the loan will clear it up? I asked why she had established a password for me and she then said its in the contract. I asked her to send to me info stating she can impersonate me and apply for loans on my behalf up to even providing me a password on the 3rd parties account. I also told them to cease and desist. I then received a voicemail from XXXX who also wanted to revert to agreement. This is bait and switch. They assured me no hard credit pulls would happen then tell me its in the agreement. Both reps were extremely defensive when I asked point blank questions about credit pulls not being authorized and that I was assured verbally by XXXX that they would not ( on a recorded line ). Bottom line is the one loan companyXX/XX/XXXX I talked to and was approved by does not use third parties like Nationwide. Nationwide was told repeatedly I do not want my credit pulled ( outside of the soft pull ) and mislead to believe that would be the case ( Misleading and Unscrupulous tactics ).

XX/XX/XXXX I advised Nationwide Loan consultants I will no longer be working with them. XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX O : XXXX. Confirmed correspondence. I then hear from XXXX XXXX | Application Specialist O : XXXX. Today XX/XX/XXXX. Same company advising they would be checking my credit periodically. I told them this was not authorized. I terminated my working relationship with this company because they wanted me to lie to a lender and say I was not working with them. I told him I didnt wan na do anything illegal and I reported them to the XXXX XXXX XXXX Now they are threatening to periodically pull my credit. I told them I would send it any authorization and they are not authorized to do this. Can somebody help me so that they can leave me alone. I requested multiple times that they stop contacting me.
