I recently read a copy of my credit report and saw this company has put a bill in my name out to collection which has subsequently reported to XXXX. I have contacted Nationwide to investigate their claim and have written to them requesting they remove this unfounded charge and correct my credit report. To date, they have refused. I request your assistance. Undisputed facts : Auto Policy # XXXX issued to me on XX/XX/XXXX with a 183-day term ( XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) for a total premium of {$980.00}. Initial premium paid by me on policy : {$240.00}, listed on policy summary page as 25 % of total premium. Policy lapsed, put out of force on XX/XX/XXXX by Nationwide. Note : Policy term was scheduled for 183 days ; coverage provided was for 46 days ( 25.14 % ). Premium paid was 25.00 %. Undisputed facts ( cont ) : Auto Policy # XXXX was put back into force on XX/XX/XXXX ( out of force for 11 days ) with an adjusted term ( XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) of 184 days. This time paid initial premium of {$260.00}, higher than before, but presumably to incur some small cost for reinstating the policy. As policy number remained the same as the original contract, it stood to reason the policy terms remained the same. Policy lapsed, put out of force on XX/XX/XXXX by Nationwide. Note : Policy term was scheduled for 184 days ; coverage provided was for 44 days ( 23.91 % ). Summary : Auto Policy coverage terms scheduled for 367/2 = 183.5 days ; total coverage received was 90 days ( 46 + 44 ). Total premiums paid was {$500.00} ( 51.3 % of Policy # XXXXs Total Premium ). Total coverage provided was ( 49.05 % ). At Issue : Nationwide/XXXX XXXX is claiming I owe them an additional {$100.00}. What for? Is this penalty for not keeping the policy? Did they change the terms of the policy ( because it was out of force for 11 days! )? If the latter, they did so without my consent. ( After I disputed this charge they sent me premium notices from XX/XX/XXXX -- policy already out of force -- showing a different premium schedule. They can not cahnge the premium schedule after the policy is approved and put in force. Much like term life insurance, charges are not payable for periods of non-coverage. As explained above, I paid for what was provided to me by Nationwide, and a bit extra. I understand by twice lapsing my policy I was not a great customer for Nationwide, but this does not give them the right to arbitrarily apply charges, or change premiums due, past the policy effective date. I can assure you I approved no such thing. Please get them to straighten this out.

I for the first time leased a phone from XXXX.I had been a customer and swore by them being the best ... until they treated me in professional, charging me for a broken phone that off & on from XX/XX/XXXX ... They did n't want to fix their phone bcuz it has had a warranty on it by XXXX ... They would not help me at All ... I had to go to XXXX XXXX to get a phone # ... .So I sent the phone back to them and received it the end of XX/XX/XXXX it is still not working ... Do now XXXX nor XXXX are returning my calls no one is listening to me at XXXX..I had to remove everyone off of my account ... .I am on by myself and they are charging me for a broken phone, I had someone finally reach out to me & put me through to someone who knew that there were broken teeth on the mother board, he was sending me a replacement phone bcuz I could n't break the phone it was internally broken. So I received two letters one said I had a month left to pay the bill I have stood my ground that my phone is broken and need someone too listen and assist me Second letter gave two months so it would carry me through the end of contract ... They stressed me out to the point where my XXXX XXXX was XXXX ... So I told them you are charging me for a broken phone, a replacement phone that does n't work either bcuz the phone # is on restriction so I have been charged for a BROKEN PHONE, NO SERVICE SERVICE TO REPLACEMENT PHONE & I caught up with anything I owed from XXXXXX/XX/XXXX ... .So BASICALLY they were charging me {$750.00} a month With no service, on the broken or replacement PHONE They never turned on ... So after my contract ended I started with another company explained everything I needed them to know .... Thank You for allowing me to vent & put everything that I could SHARE ... It is a Very hard time even to getting me SICK I never have dealt with careless people ...

I open an account with Nationwide Bank on XXXX XXXX , in XXXX XXXX my daughter received a check for XXXX dollars from her taxes, I place the check on my account. The bank cashed the check and frozen my account. I sent them all requested paperwork, proof of address, my completely life to the email provided, and asking to please open my account to be able to withdraw my daughter money or to reverse the transaction to the original check sender. My daughter lost the XXXX tax money return. On XXXX XXXX they reopen my account and I find they taken $ XXXX monthly maintenance fee for the account, for about 12 months, I sent to my daughter via bill pay {$1000.00 } ( same name on the original check cashed by the bank ) they frozen my account today, again and start asking for the same paperwork I s ent one year ag o. I promptly sent all to them including the original check in my daughter name copy. Nothing at the moment, they have my money about XXXX in hold. These people are thieves, they account said they accept third part checks, I never overdraft this account. I need to recover my money, I do n't have money for hires a lawyer. Every time I call they told me I will receive a response within 2 days, is not true, the last time they told me that the bank keep my money in hold for 12 months! I sent them my address proof, citizenship proof, the original check images, in my daughter name, also I have all correspondence via email from and to the bank. Please help me!

I have struggled with nationwide since I became a member and it starts from not being able to use the bill pay service or the external transfer service with no explanation. A work order was created and never did I hear a response or is the issue fixed. My issue now is that on XXXX, 2018 I deposited a check for {$500.00} this check came from the state of Colorado a government check with a phone number on it that reached directly to the department that issued the check, my name and address on the check matched the name address on my nationwide account but yet nationwide was unable to verify the check it must of been the day all the monkey 's were running the office or something. Anyways the state of Colorado check the as flagged for some reason, just because everyone XXXX XXXX here doesn't mean were all out bouncing checks. So my account was restricted and for a consumer who has one bank and puts all their money into the bank locking someones account has a greater affect then I think the cows in loss control realize. They requested a cleared copy of the check which on a check from a personal account is fairly easy it's however hard when its the state of Colorado but I fought and got it for them. Even a CSR said that was weird for a government check they would request that so my account has now been locked for 3 daysbI couldn't by my dog food and ive called in 20 times and it was escalated due to the importance of this situation and they have yet to lift the restriction

I received a Debit Card in the mail from XXXX XXXX with instructions to activate the card over the phone. I have never opened an account of any kind with XXXX XXXX, online or in person, so I called the number on the card to adv ise it had been sent to me in error. First contact with the Card servicer was ineffective, and I was told that I could activate the card or call the bank to complain. I repeatedly told the representative that the card was fraudulently opened and that I wanted it closed. Second contact with the Banking Center resulted in disputed transaction affidavit and indication that I would not be credited my 'money ' until I returned the form. Still nothing acknowledged about the account being opened without my consent. Third contact resulted in an indication the account would be 'closed properly ' only when I completed my affidavit with 'whatever information I had '. As of now I do not know if someone has opened this account to launder money or commit some crime, and I am supposed to pay for a notary to complete a form for which I have no information. I do n't know the account number that was opened but I was able to determine the personal information is correct.. As instructed I have destroyed the card I received. Nationwide obviously did not require a physical copy of any sort of ID during the Account Opening process, and has allowed a transaction account to be opened in my name without my consent in written or electronic format.

On XX/XX/2017, I sent Nationwide a copy of my driver 's license, power of attorney ( notarized ), a signed authorization form and the title to the XXXX XXXX motorcycle. Before mailing them to Nationwide, I made XXXX copies of the documents and scanned them to my wife 's email so that we would have documentation of what we forwarded to Nationwide. Nationwide insists that they never received the title to the motorcycle. I spoke to them on several occasions letting them know that the required paperwork was sent to them. In addition, Nationwide has raised my interest rate from approximately 7 % ( the reason I chose to refinance with Nationwide from my original lender XXXX XXXX ) to 24. 99 %. My monthly payments have gone from XXXX to XXXX a month. They have done so because Nationwide claims that they never received my title. Additionally, I called and asked to cancel my motorcycle insurance ( as I had relocated to Florida and would no longer be required to have insurance ) and yet they failed to update my account in a timely manner. They have sent my account into collections and a collection company is charging me XXXX. I was always on time with my payments and this is an unfair charge.

XXXX a magazine company is stating I owe XXXX dollars and I do not. They have contacted me on my cell phone very rude and threatening and called me at work today XX/XX/2018 a man this time very demeaning and belittling and threatening. They also called my XXXX XXXX XXXX mother today XX/XX/2018 who just got out of the hospital said they were going to freeze her XXXX and they had a warrant for my arrest. My mother was beyond upset and can not afford to get upset in her state of health. They said they would call my work and get me fired. The scared me and intimidated me and my elderly mother! The first woman that called was XXXX at XXXX Ext XXXX. The man that called today I didn't remember his name asked for him to repeat it and he would not and he would not give his phone number. He said they were freezing all my bank accounts pay check etc all income. This is so wrong and abusive especially and elderly XXXX woman fresh out of the hospital. Please help me make this stop. After becoming a widow we had some unauthorized activities on an account and decided to close that bank account. The car loan company XXXX XXXX was given notice of this months in advanced. While waiting for a form in the mail to authorize the change ( for two months ) payments were made over the phone. A customer service agent walked me through an illlegitamite online bill pay setup for the following month while also taking current payment over the phone on the XX/XX/18. Sure enough funds were withdrawn from both accounts. Causing more havoc on the accciunt we have been trying to close and holding up the closure of the account that would leave us with some funds to transfer out with. I have been promised the account to be reimbursed and have been waiting and watching daily!! So very frustrating!! How is this okay for the company to do? How much tube do they have to fix the problem??

Received the notice on XX/XX/2021. Tried to call the number provided several times, but no one ever answers the phone. On XX/XX/2021 overnighted a dispute letter to company, Continued to try to call the number provided several times. No one ever answers Emailed the company and received the following response : Please be advised Mr. *** requested the supportive documents merely 2 hours ago. We represent all 50 states regarding Subrogation claims and this is not a debt. I have requested the documents to be attached to the claim, and when they are, he will indeed receive them. Thank you for your patience in this matter. However, the letter clearly states that this is an attempt to collect a debt. This is deceptive and illegal debt collection practices and an attempt to collect a debt that was settled ( against the company ) in arbitration.

Im the victim of identity theft and I dont recognize the account Nationwide is reporting on my XXXX and XXXX XXXX reports. This inaccurate reporting is damaging my reputation as a consumer with my other financial companies. I have provide an FTC ID Theft Affidavit to XXXX and XXXX XXXX and they have both responded saying that verified the account to be accurate without providing any information in its regards to verifying how the account belongs to me.
