I was looking to consolidate my loans, and I found a company 's number that I thought was related to my loan servicer XXXX XXXX. The company promised that if I paid {$400.00} to have my loans consolidated than I would n't have interest for three years and after this three years, the government would subsidize half of the interest amount. I spoke with three different people from this company ( Nationwide Document Preparation ) and they all confirmed this. I inquired why consolidating cost this much money, because I usually thought it was free, and all three employees insisted this {$400.00} was to ensure that I would n't have interest for the first three years after consolidation. They knew my income and also assured me that with these interest-free years, they advise people making a certain amount of money to try and pay off the loans in their entirety during this time to avoid paying any interest later. Conversations with this company began mid-XX/XX/XXXX. I have an email from XX/XX/XXXX where I gave Nationwide my pay stubs and other information in order to fill out these forms. Once my loans were consolidated and transferred to XXXX, I noticed interest building and became concerned. I tried to call Nationwide Document Preparation and all of their phone lines had become disconnected.

I received an email from representatives from : Nationwide Doc XXXX Prep, LLC Telephone : XXXX Extension : XXXX Fax : XXXX who charged me {$490.00} for initial registration on paperwork promising lower monthly payments for my student loans from XXXX. And I also have to continue to pay monthly for paperwork they have to submit every month to XXXX or so they claim. But XXXX rep called me back saying my paperwork was rejected because I was still in XXXX and that I should n't have to pay for submitting the application. That 's when I got very worried. I had used my XXXX XXXX credit card and gave them my personal info with XXXX. Now, I hope I can get this issue resolved somehow since the fraudulent person would n't get back to my emails and calls asking for refund.
