RE : XXXX XXXX XXXX, ( NCC ) XXXX COUNTY TAX ADMIN., VIOLATIONS OF FDCPA, DUE PROCESS, & VIOLATION 0F SOCIAL SECURITY ACT. [ FTC CASE # XXXX ] [ CFPB CASE # XXXX ] I was referred to file my illegal consumer debt collection practices complaint to your agencies by the Virginia Attorney Generals Office. This morning, XX/XX/XXXX, my car was booted by the XXXX County Sheriff 's Office, acting on behalf of a credit collection company, I have no dealings with, NCC, XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, VA., claiming I owe NCC taxes amounting to {$35000.00}, ( Bond ). I am on a fixed income, {$930.00}. I do not owe that amount, having not been sued for it, in a specific amount. XXXX County Tax Administration had been fully informed of, repeatedly told about and did unconstitutionally ignore my nearly 20-months requests for help to prosecute and seize from the State of New Jersey, as a crime-victim, pursuant to Federal criminal codes 18 U.S.C. 3225 and 3663, which does allow a State to file seizure of assets against a another States criminal Defendants, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, owner of XXXX XXXX regarding that criminal Defendants owed 28 months of crime- victims damages, to collect from XXXX XXXX XXXX Insurance policies. Documents received from the XXXX County Tax Administration was that it had attempted to seize my wifes assets, her home, fraudulently telling the County Department of Real Estate that I owned her home, adverse to it being owned by her femme sole, before our marriage. It was done on a weekend, wthout any legal justifications on behalf of XXXX County Tax Admin., by NCC . XXXX XXXX XXXX did employ illegal means without Due Process, adverse of 15 USC 1692 ( a ), ( C ), ( D ), and ( E ), on attempting to seize property not owned by me, but is owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Under 15 U.S.C., 1692, ( Sec. 803 - 809 ), makes it a crime to knowingly, willfully, and deliberately cause various damages to a person 's reputation, as was done by the Sheriff 's Dept., acting as an agent of or for N.C.C. a known criminal enterprise with more than 292 filed consumer complaints with the FTC, CFPB. Jointly each did cause my verified damages to me, personally, and causing physical property damages to my vehicle, pursuant to 15 USC Ss 805, 808, and Ss 809, is criminally liable to the debtor. XXXX County Sheriffs deputies placed large, bright yellow placards on the windows of the car located in the community 's parking lot for all to see and read, violating Ss 803, 806, 808 - 811 of the Unfair Debt Collection Practices Act. 15 USC Ss 803 - 812, at seq.. By fraudulently alleging a debt exists and publicizing their attempt to seize anothers property by using NCC 's methods to make illegal threats of seizure of a persons property, thus, forcing me to pay a debts I do not owe and such debts are intentionally filed to be as excessive, fabricated, and without any legal justification nor due process requiring me pay a {$35000.00} bond on what is falsely claimed to be an alleged {$5000.00} debt are absolutely illegal and impossible for any retired consumer to pay on a fixed income with more than {$1400.00} a month debts after retirement. XXXX TAX ADMIN AND SHERIFF 'S DEPUTIES WERE informed by Federal Codes, Laws, that their engaging in a criminal conspiracy, as stated in FDCPA, is clearly adverse to each part of Section 806 ( A ) ( 1 ), ( 5 ) ; 807 ( 1 ), ( 2 ), ( 4 ) ; and under 808-811, et seq.. XXXX County Sheriffs deputies and NCC, jointly engaged in acts of coercion by public harassment, fully knowing from XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX was retired and he did not owe any debts before XX/XX/XXXX, deceptively making it impossible for him to pay {$35000.00} on a a-monthly Social Security Retirement of {$930.00} per month, while he is also over his current debts, under his earnings the County, Tax Admin. know the State of New Jersey OWES him from XX/XX/XXXXto XX/XX/XXXX, more than {$250000.00} for earnings, and Attorney 's fees, costs, and 15 travel expenses, exceeding {$450000.00}, combined. XXXX County Police have over 18 months, refused to have XXXX XXXX XXXX find out who has been calling my wife and I, never leaving any messages, but over more than 100 times in about 6 months, hanging up on those few dozen times I have answered the phone. Those more than 100 incoming phone harassing hangup calls from all hours XXXX XXXX til XXXX XXXX EDST has caused my wife and I to verbally argue about when to and not to answer our telephone calls. As of now, I am already trying to fix my debts from $ XXXXa month in XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX per month in XX/XX/XXXX, where the State of New Jersey owes me from XX/XX/XXXX, more than {$450000.00} ( rounded off ) as a crime-victim from XXXX XXXX XXXX caused criminal and consumer damages done to me under Federal, VA. , and N.J. codes/ statutory criminal laws. XXXX County Sheriffs Office and Tax Admin has continued to ignore, deny, and conceal their legal ability to seize from the State of New Jersey, as the IRS is doing to Federally seize from XXXX XXXX, under Tax Laws, getting from XXXX XXXX, State of N.J., N.J.S. 2C:2-6 XXXX XXXX 's past unpaid earned income of ( {$250000.00} ), Social Security has still not been paid from New Jersey , from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, to include, increase XXXX XXXX 's Social Security Retirement checks. Anything that your office can do to urgently assist me will be greatly appreciated.

THE FOLLOWING WAS SENT TO NATIONWIDE CREDIT CORP WITH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION. THE ONLY RESPONSE RECEIVED WAS A COPY OF THE BILL SUBMITTED BY XXXX XXXX. NO SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES WERE ADDRESSED REGARDING THE VALIDITY OF THE CHARGES. On XX/XX/XXXX, a letter was sent stating that NCC was a debt collector acting on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Creditors Account Number XXXX ) attempting to collect an outstanding debt in the amount of {$XXXX}. Please accept this letter as my formal dispute of the validity of this debt. The disputed reasons are outlined below : XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$XXXX} was for a procedure that was submitted to my insurance, XXXX, for processing. The claim was initially denied as not medically necessary by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX was immediately contacted by me with respect to the denial. The treating physician, XXXX XXXX, did not agree that the treatment was not medically necessary and submitted an appeal to XXXX on my behalf. The appeal process requires the participation of my XXXX treating physician for it to be processed. To be clear, I am unable to submit a successful appeal without my doctor addressing whether or not the procedure was medically necessary in his professional opinion. XXXX XXXX did not submit my appeal paperwork until XX/XX/XXXX. In addition, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX, Pro Fee Coordinator with the Office of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, and specifically notified her that my treating physician deemed my procedure medically necessary and that he would be submitting an appeal on my behalf. There will, therefore, be an additional delay caused by XXXX, not me. Based on the information provided, and the fact that the appeal of my insurance claim could only be handled by XXXX themselves, it is a gross misrepresentation to indicate in any manner that I am delinquent and/or refusing to pay for the services provided. I demand that this account be closed by NCC as it lacks validity for any further processing by a debt collector. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a reply from CFPB that improperly told me, concerning my following complaint, XXXX, that your Agy does not handle criminal acts and conducted engaged in by State , County, local law enforce-ment officers. These Courts ' holdings do give your agency full and complete authority to seek to handle these 'criminals ' that violate FDCPA, FTC Act and other Federal crimes codes under the 4th Cir. and U.S. Supreme Court decisions : XXXX v. XXXX, XXXX, 4th Cir. XXXX ; XXXX v. XXXX County, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) ; and In re : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX ). Too, CFPB releases a joint criminal press release against debt collectors ' illegal conduct that has law enforcement officers, deputies do a debt collector 's criminal 4th Am. violations exactly like this criminal complaint CFPB was enacted to protect against. See. CFPB and FTC joint PRESS RELEASE. XX/XX/XXXX ; and court decisions/holdings cited above. Held : The seizure and removal of the trailer home implicated petitioners ' Fourth Amendment rights. Pp. 61-72. ( a ) A " seizure '' of property occurs when " there is some meaningful interference with an individual 's possessory interests in that property. '' United States v. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The language of the Fourth Amendment - which protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures of " their persons, houses, papers, and effects '' - cuts against the novel holding below, and this Court 's cases unmistakably hold that the Amendment protects property even where privacy or liberty is not implicated. See, e.g., ibid. ; XXXX v. United States,XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. This Court 's " plain view '' decisions also make untenable the lower court 's construction of the Amendment. If the Amendment 's boundaries were defined exclusively by rights of privacy, " plain view '' seizures, rather than being scrupulously subjected to Fourth Amendment inquiry, Arizona v. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, would not implicate that constitutional provision at all. Contrary to the Court of Appeals ' [ XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ] position, the Amend-ment protects seizure even though no search within its meaning has taken place. See, e.g., XXXX, XXXX, at 120-125. Also contrary to that court 's view, XXXX v. XXXX XXXX XXXX, does not require a court, when it finds that a wrong implicates more than one constitutional command, to look at the dominant character of the challenged conduct to determine under which constitutional standard it should be evaluated. Rather, each constitutional provision is examined in turn. See, e.g., XXXX v. XXXX XXXX XXXX. Pp. 61-71. ( b ) The instant decision should not foment a wave of new litigation in the federal courts. Activities such as repossessions or attachments, if they involve entering a home, intruding on individuals ' privacy, or interfering with their liberty, would implicate the Fourth Amendment even on the Court of Appeals ' own terms. And numerous seizures of this type will survive constitutional scrutiny on " reasonableness '' grounds. Moreover, it is unlikely that the police will often choose to further an enterprise knowing that it is contrary to the law, or proceed to seize property in the absence of objectively reasonable grounds for doing so. Pp. 71-72. 942 F.2d 1073, reversed and remanded. XXXX, XXXX, delivered the opinion of a unanimous court. ================= Accordingly, your Enacted Agency signed by Pres. Obama in XX/XX/XXXX, has held, totally adverse to and contrary of CFPB'S/FTC 'S joint task forces to collectively prosecute all law enforcement agencies that conspire with NCC , County Tax Admin . Therefore, it is seriously URGENT that your Agy must handle my Illegal Debt Collections by NCC and XXXX Tax Collections.

NCC ( Nationwide Credit Corporation ) has placed a unconfirmable and disputed debt of a old XXXX XXXX account from 2019 on my credit report for a arbitrary old paid bill from an account that was not only paid out before closing and transferring the service via a service and address change but, also the subsequent following account was also paid to satisfaction and closed clearing all debt as is required by this XXXX company. I have disputed the debt multiple times through the credit reporting agencies and multiple times the alleged investigation by NCC has returned the disputed account as confirmed but with no attributing data or evidence to validate this alleged debt. I have contacted NCC on a number of occasions to request any evidence or proof of the debt and have not received any supporting data or admissible proof that a debt is owed, past due, delinquent or otherwise valid. I have made several request for supporting documents such as a ledger, past due or delinquent statements or notices, service interruption/turn-off notices, or even an explanation as to how after my service was transferred to aforementioned new address that service account is also closed to satisfaction and not in any manner of debt or collections since any charges or relative debt follows a consumer by their social security number. It is simply not possible to have multiple personal service accounts under XXXX SS # I have furnished NCC with supporting proof that not only paid out before closing and transferring the service via a service and address change but, also the subsequent following account was also paid to satisfaction and closed clearing all debt as is required by this Utilities company. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was in an auto accident that totaled my car and resulted in various injuries. On the evening of XX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX in Maryland ( Business Office # XXXX ) for medical service. Upon filing the accident claim witn my auto insurer, XXXX, the claim examiner asked would I like for XXXX to pay my medical bills or would I prefer that XXXX reimburse me ( XXXX claim examiner : XXXX XXXX can be reached at XXXX XXXX ). At the time, I asked that XXXX pay medical bills directly and I gave XXXX a XXXX waiver form related to medical services rendered in relation to the accident on XX/XX/XXXX. Since then I have received various bills in the mail and repeated phone calls from XXXX XXXX requesting that I settle the outstanding bill. XXXX repeatedly instructed me that they needed an itemized bill to pay the outstanding bill. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an itemized bill from XXXX XXXX which I uploaded to XXXX 's claims website. XXXX informed me that they sent XXXX XXXX a check on XX/XX/XXXX, and that they have a record of XXXX XXXX depositing the check on XX/XX/XXXX. Between these XXXX dates, I spoke with XXXX XXXX twice, requesting if they had received the check, to which they told me they had not, but they entered a memo that the check was " in the mail. '' During the week of XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from NCC ( contact number XXXX ) a debt collection company. In response, I contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to confirm that they had received payment, and note that XXXX had erroneously contacted me for bill collection. At that time, the gentlemen at XXXX XXXX informed me that he had a record that the bill had been paid and that XXXX XXXX would clear up this matter with NCC. When I asked should I take any further action such as checking that Mercy had cleared up the matter, the gentleman agreed that I should reach out XXXX week later ( XXXX XXXX ). On the morning of XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from NCC. I let it go to voicemail and called them back. After reading off various guarantor numbers and account numbers from XXXX XXXX, the bill collector told me that I'm probably looking at the wrong bill and that I could pay her now. At that point, I officially informed her that I wished to dispute this debt and what are the next steps. She then simply began a process of haggling with me, telling me that they were willing to mark the debt down if I paid then and there on the phone. At this point, I told her that this is ridiculous and that I don't understand why I'm being requested to pay a bill that has already been paid. I hung up the phone and I am now filing this complaint.

I was contacted by a company, Nationwide Credit Corporation ( NCC ), concerning a bill for XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) that was paid in full in XX/XX/XXXX. The company states that they were contracted in XXXX of XXXX to collect the amount, and XX/XX/XXXX is also the first I became aware of the bill directly from the company because of an incorrect mailing address they were using, not sending mail to my new residence on file with them. I contacted XXXX immediately upon notification from XXXX related to the bill and paid the bill amount in full at that time. NCC contacted me in XX/XX/XXXX regarding the amount, stating that XXXX is their client and that they are collecting the amount. They state that I owe them XXXX, the final amount I paid to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. NCC would not contact their client, XXXX, and instead wanted to collect more personal information regarding my accounts. When I spoke with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX they stated that the matter was internal and that they would not send the bill to collections and that at the time of talking with them the bill has been paid-in-full, especially when it is related to a communication error on their system side. None the less, NCC states that they will not communicate with XXXX and XXXX does not have to communicate with them in regards to teh amount that has already been paid. NCC is engaging in bad business practices of collecting on amount that are not due and not conducting post-operation reviews to check the status of accounts related to collections for their clients. I have contacted XXXX multiple times since the communication from NCC, and XXXX has assured me there is no amount owed and that no amount should have ever been sent to collections. NCC has a due diligence as a collections agency to ensure they are collecting on proper, up to date, and accurate account debts, but to collect on accounts that have no discrepancies and are not due is to lie to the consumer, accuse them of bad financial practices, assault their credit credibility, and over collect on bills that have long been paid and should not even be considered a debt since they were paid in full at the time of balance due. NCC informed that they will not engage in confirmation with XXXX that a balance is owed and would not verify the validity of their call took place almost two years after the utility bill was paid. It is unrealistic to ask most American to be able to vouch for their bill payments multiple years in the past, but I luckily keep good records of even small payments for just these predatory practices by agencies working to prey on people for false debts.

First, let me describe the problem and the abhorrent practices that I believe are in violation of the law. I had to do research to obtain the following information which included obtaining information from the FTC. I keep getting repeated calls to my telephone number by the following company : NCC ( Nationwide Credit Corporation ) XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX The repeated calls from NCC have a recorded message ( possibly robo dialed ) for another person to call them, even though this telephone number is not registered in that person 's name and never has been. Further, that person does not live at this address. I've had this number alone for over 32 years. NCC leaves only a long distance number to call them which would cost me money. No option to talk with anyone and no toll free number provided as required by law. The calls just keep coming, why should I have to pay and waste my money to get a lawless company to stop harassing me when I am not even a party to the debt? So I call the FTC & they are able to lookup a toll free number. I have since called NCC and told them that this phone is mine and does not belong to the person they seek ( name provided to them ) & that no such person lives here. I told them to cease and desist. Why should I have to waste my time & be put through all of this nightmare when I am clearly not the person they seek? Why are these companies allowed to behave this way? Harassing a person that they know full well is not the individual that they are after? This number is listed and anyone can see that it is not the telephone number for the person that they seek. This is abhorrent to keep harassing me without giving me a toll free number or an option to talk to anyone. This is terrorism by telephone and this company needs to be punished for these underhanded, deceitful & unlawful practices. I don't feel violated, I have been violated and it's totally uncalled for. Debt collectors are supposed to provide a toll free number if they demand a return call and they have no right to harass the innocent. Hint, my number has a very male name and the person they are after is female. Is this a reading comprehension problem on the part of NCC are do they intend to terrorize everyone with a similar last name trying to get them to pay the debt of another person? This is disgusting XXXX behavior.

Nationwide Credit Corporation may appear legitimate, but there are fraudulent criminal activities within that company. Their fraudulent activities have implicated the XXXX Virginia police department Parking Citation Division, The Virginia DMV, and maybe the credit reporting agencies. I will tell about two occasions when Nationwide Credit Corporation wrote me letters about parking tickets in XXXX Virginia, a city I last visited in XX/XX/XXXX. And my only parking was done at the XXXX XXXX parking lot. The content of the first letter. The letter stated I had a parking violation in the city of XXXX Virginia where my parking permit could not be seen. They sent me a picture of a vehicle I don't own with my license plate letters and number, but the state name was blurred out. I wrote Nationwide Credit Corporation a letter explaining to them I was not in XXXX Virginia and sent them a copy of my Virginia Car registration. I never heard any more about that situation. The second time Nationwide Credit Corporation wrote me a letter was in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to Virginia DMV in my hometown to have my license plate replaced because of damage. I was issued new license plates that day. I receive a letter from Nationwide Credit Corporation a few weeks later informing me that I have a parking violation in XXXX Virginia on XX/XX/XXXX, just three days after the new license plates were issued to me. Nationwide Credit Corporation contacted the Virginia DMV, telling them I owe a fine for a parking violation in XXXX Virginia, a city neither my car nor license plate have ever visited. The Virginia DMV wrote me a letter saying DMV will not renew my license plates which expire on XX/XX/XXXX unless I pay Nationwide Credit Corporation for a parking citation that never occurred. In my situation, Nationwide Credit Corporation has a contract to collect unpaid parking citations for the XXXX Virginia police department Parking Citation Division. They are using that contract to create and collect funds for fraudulent citations. When I refuse to pay for a parking citation in a city my car has never visited, Nationwide Credit Corporation contacts the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles telling them I owe for a parking citation and my license plates will not be renewed until I pay Nationwide Credit Corporation.

I am writing to you to file a complaint against a company known as NCC Debt Collector, whose persistent and invasive harassment has been ongoing for an extended period, causing a significant infringement on my privacy and immense inconvenience. I am hopeful that your department can take action to address this issue. The Debt Collector is using multiple different phone numbers, including XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX, to harass me several times daily. Furthermore, they leave computerized recordings of meaningless numerical codes, simply repeating these codes during the calls. One such instance was on XX/XX/XXXX, where they used the phone numbers XXXX and XXXX to call me on the same day. The first call was XXXX and they called again in the afternoon at XXXX on that very day. This harassment has not ceased during my business trip to XXXX, they have continued calling late at midnight, significantly disrupting my rest and work. I understand that because of this harassment is a medical bill, but I must emphasize that I have expressed my concerns on multiple occasions, requesting that the Debt Collector contact the hospital and insurance company to verify the accuracy of the bill. However, they not only disregard my requests but persist in daily phone calls. While NCC Debt Collector claims in their correspondence that they can resolve disputes via email, they have refused my emails for various reasons, asserting that they only accept contact via phone and regular mail. This suggests a lack of transparency on their part, and it leaves me feeling highly uneasy. I kindly request your department to take immediate action to put an end to this harassment and protect my rights and those of other victims. I also ask that your department investigates the actions of NCC Debt Collector to ensure they comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and that appropriate measures are taken to curtail their abusive behavior. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response. I am willing to provide further information if needed.

I immediately called the collection agency to find out what the debt was and why I never received the notice in the mail. They told me that the letter was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but I moved from that address and now live across the street at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which was why I had not received the mail. XXXX XXXX XXXX is vacant so no one gave me that mail and I never received any forwarded mail from USPS. They also informed we that a wage garnishment had been sent to my previous employer which i no longer work for and I dont understand why i would not have been contacted via phone or email before involving my employer. I asked them if they could remove the account if I paid it over the phone and they said I could not dispute with them which I found very strange. I then asked if I could receive a letter stating that the account was paid in full but they said that I have to wait 30 days to receive this and I feel this is unfair since I never received the correspondence to begin with. i am in the process of obtaining employment and since I work in the financial industry, I can not have a new collection account listed on my credit bureau as this would prevent me from being hired. Given the fact that I paid the account in full ( reference number XXXX ) and the correspondence was sent to an old address i think this collection account should be immediately removed from my credit bureau report. having it on there will prevent me from finding employment in my field!!!

I sold my primary residence in XX/XX/XXXX and requested all utility services to be cut off by XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX, utility account # XXXX generated a final invoice in the amount of {$160.00} that was sent to my new address on XX/XX/XXXX, along with a communication that XXXX XXXX was pleased to inform me that I was eligible to receive a credit for any unpaid balances of my natural gas bill for the period of XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX due to the exposure and financial difficulties that I was experiencing due to COVID -19/ The eligibility to receive this one-time bill payment assistance was possible because of the Virginia Coronavirus Aid , Relief and Economic Security ( CARES ) Act. At that moment in time, I was impacted financially due to a reduction in business and work hours, therefore I completed the paper form requested by XXXX XXXX for this one time bill assistance and mailed back via USPS. I did not hear back from XXXX XXXX, therefore I assumed that my bill was satisfied and account closed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Nationwide Credit Corporation, the collections agency that acts on behalf of XXXX XXXX stating that I had an outstanding balance of {$160.00} that needed to be paid immediately and that this balance was already reported in my credit score to the credit bureaus. After some research, it was determined that XXXX XXXX never processed my Covid19 relief request and then sent my account to collections. The account was paid in full to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, confirmation # XXXX but the collection process is still showing in my credit report, negatively impacting my score and ability to acquire future credit.

The Name of this company : XXXX XXXX, is in and/or XXXX, XXXX, VA. The onething that I am complaining about is the fact that they tape phone calls. Does n't it say under federal quidelines, that if you tell to stop taping your phone call they have to stop it. This was in the front of my phone book. If I do n't want the call taped, they have to honor that request. Well this company, flat out and I mean, flat out and will not obey this rule. Their excuse is this. Well we have to see how our people are doing. Tough is my comment. The federal law is above your company and you ca n't do against that. Over several yrs back, I contacted them, about things on my credit report. They were doing the same mess. What I did was get an address and an amount and them send them a certified letter to the CEO of the company in the mail. That way they got their money and the bill etc was paid. But I do n't like this, when as " myself '' as an consumer, I ca n't get a collection company to obey the law. The bill is paid now. I went back to the original company and told them what was going on, and I paid it, at my appointment. Apparently they are very familiar with this company and the illegal games they play, but basically do n't much care. Sir, pls do something about this company. I hope that I never have to contact such a rude and law breaking company such as XXXX XXXX again. Next time, I speak with the CEO, and that 's it, and ask him/her, why his/her company is disobeying the law. Pls do something. So this do n't happen to anyone else. This is not right, legal etc. Thank you XXXX XXXX XXXX

For more than three months, I 've been receiving almost daily phone calls from a debt collection agency. I never answer their calls and the company never leaves a message. I have no outstanding debt. The caller-id sometimes shows the company name as NCC Business Services and sometimes as XXXX XXXX XXXX For NCC Business Services XXXX the calls originate from ( XXXX ) XXXX and ( XXXX ) XXXX. For XXXX XXXX XXXX, the calls originate from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My complaint expresses the same situation as the complaint against XXXX XXXX submitted to your agency on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. In addition to never leaving messages, the company has never contacted me through the mail or in any other way. They just appear to be phishing for information. Others who have received calls from this debt collection company report requests for private information such as social security number, claims of grossly inflated amounts owed, threats for non-payment, and many, many cases of mistaken identity. Back in XXXX, I received repeated calls from the same company over a period of weeks. Upon finally talking to a company rep, it was clearly established that the real debtor was someone else with my name. The rep said that the calls would stop, and they did for a period of several weeks, but then resumed. It required the intervention of the Maryland XXXX office to get the calls stopped permanently. Because of my previous experience and the experience of others, I refuse to have any contact with this company and would like these annoying, harassing calls stopped.

I received a bill from the Nationwide Credit Corporation ( NCC ) stating that I owed {$100.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX program for service date XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately responded to NCC denying this charge and sending them documentation that I did not use XXXX 's services for the XXXX school year as my son was in Middle School, where services are not even offered. In addition, the amount they quoted was not even the correct amount that XXXX charged for those services. XXXX XXXX schools are dubiously known for their discrimination against minorities. This is another attempt for them to extract fees from a single XXXX parent. I emailed the NCC administration twice ( XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ) of their error and I received another call this week. I told their customer service representative about my email and she acknowledged that the NCC has received my email. However, she could not explain why they were still contacting me at XXXX. The NCC is a crooked organization. They are attempting to charge me for services I never received nor agreed to. They can't produce any documentation where I agreed to a service charge nor can they show that my son received any services for the XXXX school year. I am requesting that the NCC remove my name and this debt from their records immediately. I am also requesting that they do not contact me about this matter again. Please help in stopping this unlawful, discriminatory and unethical attempt by NCC to collect unearned fees from a taxpayer.

Debt collector NCC Business XXXX has been calling for months. My wife and I are not aware of any past due debts. Having been alerted to this company 's harassing techniques by numerous posts on XXXX, for months I did not answer their calls. Finally I answered and said that we do not have any past due debts, and asked them not to call again. I do not know if anyone was on the other end of the phone to hear and log my request. The calls have continued and I do not answer. Today, XXXX XXXX, 2015, XXXX., I received a call from this number, this time leaving a message. The message said, " We have an important call from NCC. This is a debt collector. Please call ( XXXX ) XXXX. Thank you. '' What I find interesting is that the message is recorded and calls neither me nor my wife by name, nor does it reveal the nature of the debt. From numerous XXXX posts, when others return the call, the representative insists on the caller revealing personal information, including Social Security number, before discussing the nature of the debt. Based on this shady technique, I will not be calling this number because I will not reveal such personal information to what I believe are cold-call debt collectors phishing for information. I have received no letter nor bill from any creditor that indicates either my wife or I are in arrears on any debt. I consider these calls to be phishing and harassing and ask that you help me put an end to these calls.

Nationwide Credit Corporation in XXXX was assigned to collect a debt from us on behalf of XXXX. We were told we had until XXXX XXXX to pay the requested amount. Nationwide Credit placed a lien on our bank account on XXXX XXXX ( 2 days before the due date ) using methods unknown/unauthorized by us to access our bank account information. We paid the requested tax amount on XXXX XXXX to Nationwide Credit, yet they still went ahead with the lien and held that same amount of money from our bank account - so we were charged XXXX. Our bank told us that Nationwide Credit needed to send a release letter to remove the lien. We requested this from Nationwide Credit multiple times on XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. Each time they promised they had sent it. Our bank did n't receive it until XXXX XXXX and that was only because additional assistance got involved from the XXXX and our banks Litigation department. Nationwide credit illegally put a hold on our bank account in advance of the due date, and then failed to release the funds in a timely or professional manner. In addition, if you call Nationwide Credit they will ask you to hold and then let your call drop, they will recognize your number and not answer your call, they will let your call loop through the system and then drop. They will tell you they have sent a fax, but never will, and they will not call you back if you leave a voicemail.

I 've received telephone calls from " XXXX '', who works for XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Virginia. Supposedly, I " owe '' a medical debt to XXXX XXXX for approximately {$48.00}. The Department of Veterans affairs authorized non-VA care at XXXX XXXX. The VA has a policy that any " authorized non-VA health care services is considered payment in full. I stated that it was illegal for him to do so per the health insurance policy. Previously I had given the debt collection company the addresses of the Department of Veterans Affairs. I question whether the company is in fact legitimate. I have received XXXX different telephone calls from XXXX different telephone numbers. XXXX of the telephone numbers was overseas. I worry about identity theft issues, so I hope I did n't accidentally give the wrong person my personal information.

The debt collection agency is Nationwide Credit in XXXX, VA. I am a XXXX XXXX for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) system. They sent documentation to XXXX falsely misrepresenting themselves XXXX XXXX of XXXX, VA by placing information on County letterhead. They asked that the entire amount of {$1300.00} be deducted from my paycheck, for delinquent personal property taxes and fees in XXXX XXXX. The payroll supervisor did not honor the request for the entire amount, because my check was much less and he told them he can only take a percentage. He withheld {$200.00} on one check, dated XX/XX/XXXX and {$100.00} on a second check, dated XX/XX/XXXX. He stopped withholding funds after I brought to his attention that a garnishment has to come from the court. First of all, I was a resident of XXXX XXXX for 1XXXX years, not XXXX XXXX. Secondly, I do not know how they arrived at {$1300.00}. Their correspondence is on XXXX XXXX letterhead with their phone number. These deductions were quite shocking to me because I need all of my funds to live. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote a letter to NCC and had it notarized. The letter has been sent certified mail.

Dear CFPB, I am asking you for assistance to intervene on my behalf concerning willful non-compliance within a " reasonable time '' by Nationwide Credit Corporation refusing to remove, by law, a proven fraudulent credit profile account off my credit reports. The creditor has willfully not complied with my request. I have never received any benefit directly or indirectly from the fraudulent transaction ( s ). Any signature is a forgery and was made without my knowledge ; perhaps due to consumers having similar names and/ or social security numbers. I look forward to you helping me in this matter.

I discovered I had an account placed with NCC, Nationwide Credit, while pulling my own credit report. I called them immediately and arranged to pay in full, though I am STILL unaware of what the charges are for. We are in the process of home buying and I wanted the account removed as quickly as possible. I was VERY explicit that I would pay the account in full, as long as the collection would be DELETED or REMOVED from all of my credit files and NOT merely updated to reflect a 'paid ' status. The employee I spoke with, XXXX XXXX, assured me that it would be DELETED and not just updated. I agreed to make payment, based on that conditional understanding. After the account was updated, and NOT deleted as agreed, I called them back at which point XXXX other employees apologized, but informed me that removing the collection was not possible. This agent was dishonest and deceitful in obtaining payment. She served as an extremely poor representative for this business, and for the hospital, XXXX XXXX XXXX, that hired this agency.

I am XXXX XXXX military, and as such I fall under the protection of the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act ( SSCRA ). SSCRA states that I will not be charged property taxes on a vehicle I own from another state. There was an issue regarding my tax waiver with the state of Virginia to get it waived for last year 's tax cycle, but I was able to resolve it last month. However Nationwide Credit Corporation in XXXX VA, the debt collector hired to get this tax, is still saying I owe them money. It is in complete violation of federal law, and state/county accepted policies. I have told them multiple times about the law, about how I have saved correspondence with the county saying I do not owe anything, etc. Yet they continue to harass and threaten me that I owe them money ... despite the fact that federal law and the tax collector 's office in XXXX county VA says otherwise. I have saved correspondence between the XXXX, NCC, and myself if you wish to have it.

I called XXXX XXXX ( operated by XXXX ) after I received an invoice for a missed toll payment on XXXX XXXX. I did not realize that my transponder was not working at the time, so toll charge of {$4.00} was not charged. The first missed toll invoice was sent in an invoice back in XXXX, amounting to $ XXXX. I never received this invoice. It was sent to Nationwide Credit Corporation ( XXXX ) for collections. I never received a bill or debt notice from either XXXX XXXX or Nationwide Credit Corporation about this particular debt. When I called NCC to pay the charge, they told me that the debt is now over $ XXXX, because of their administrative fee. They told me the administrative fee goes up incrementally over time, now amounting to {$120.00}. If I had known about the bill, or even the debt, I would have addressed it sooner.

Nationwide Credit Corporation refused to give a receipt on medical debt paid unless I wait 30 days and then call them back to make the request for a receipt. We are not talking about letting a company have time to process and send a receipt. We are talking about a company that does not let you REQUEST the receipt for 30 days. They are ILLEGALLY hoping I forget to call them back. I see NO LEGAL reason for them not making a note of my REQUEST for a request when they take payment. If CFPB thinks this policy is OK, please send an explanation of what legal purpose anyone would have to refuse to allow me to REQUEST ( not receive ) a receipt until 30 days after payment is received over the phone. I can not clean up finances and prove that deductibles are met without the receipt. It should not be so hard for me to get a receipt. This is clearly a scam to make sure I pay more money than I should.

On XX/XX/2020, I received a letter with XXXX County letterhead claiming to be the department of tax administration. It claimed a tax lien and demand for payment. In the body of the letter, they informed me that a copy was sent to my previous employer demanding to garnish 100 % of my income until the debt was settled, and threatened that unless payment was received in full by XX/XX/XXXX, they would file suit at the court. The return to address, and callback numbers listed were to NCC in XXXX, VA ( and to their PO box ) attempting to collect on a debt. I called them to inform that threatening legal action, wage garnishment, tax liens, and posing as county officials was at the least, highly unethical. They hung up on me twice, didn't answer my phone call again, and when I called from my wife 's phone, they picked up and told me " go ahead and call the county '' in a mocking voice.

I got bills from the County of Fairfax for tax collection on my cars. I sent the check but only some were cashed by the county. It then went into collections. The printed bill stated that a penalty would be assessed. It did not match up with what XXXX was stating. They called several times and i told them that I sent the check to the County. They said ok. Apparently the County did not accept the check and the collection company needed to collect the bill. The bill was for {$1800.00} and they told me I owed over {$2700.00} ( on one car ). I told them that this could not be correct and the agent ( XXXX XXXX ) was rude and dismissive and would not accurately anweer my questions. He was argumentative. I eventually paid what he told me to pay because they filed a lien with my bank even though I was told I had until certain date to make payment ( which I did ).

I received a letter dated XXXX XX/XX/2021 that a medical bill was sent to collections. They have called repeatedly but it's automated. I've just made a small payment every time they send out a statement for payment. I pay what I can because I don't have the full amount. Even though I've sent in what I can afford to pay they've sent it to collections anyway. I've tried returning the call only to be on hold 25 minutes or longer. It gives you the option of receiving a call back when someone is available. The problem is " a person '' never calls back. It's always the automated system looking to collect. So today ( XXXX XX/XX/2021 XXXXEST ) I called the collection agency because the letter says to call if you dispute within 30 days. That went nowhere. So I'm doing this as a next step. Balance {$450.00}

Nationwide Credit Corporation ( XXXX, VA ) continues to call me daily to collect a {$40.00} medical debt from a doctor I do not believe I have ever seen. I have spoken with their representatives many times over the past month or so. They are generally nice until I request a Debt Verification letter, then they turn hostile and begin shouting at me. I understand my rights and will not make a payment until they have provided a verification letter. I have no problem paying this debt if it is in fact mine, but I don't think it is. They claimed to have sent a letter to me, but I have not received one. I asked if they sent it certified, but they declined to answer, so how do I know they sent it or are just lying like another shady debt collector? I can't possibly know!

I have reached out to NCC three times, on three separate occasions, to request verification of debt over the last 3 months ( 90 days ). The representatives keep telling me my requests have not been processed and " hopefully '' something will be mailed to me. I called the original creditor and they don't have anything on file for me and told me to contact the debt collector again. Nothing has been provided to me. I can not verify this debt is mine and they have continuously failed to prove that. I want to dispute the validity of this debt due to XXXX 's failure to provide me materials I need to verify this is mine.

Hello, Nation Wide Credit Co has made a fraudulent credit reporting on my credit report thereby damaging my credit score and access to credit. The accounts that were reported under my name to the credit bureaus do not belong to me. I have NO KNOWLEDGE NOR I HAVE EVER RECEIVED ANY SERVICES mentioned on the debt. I have attached three pictures of the debt accounts. These accounts were reported to credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX but the company did put negative remarks on my report going as far back as XXXX thereby immensely damaging my credit rating and score.

I received a letter from a company called NCC. They do not explain who are they are. I received a bill from the County of XXXX. I do not live in XXXX county. This bill does not explain what the charges are. Interestingly, the company is charging {$85.00} in fees and {$44.00} in fees and a previous balance of {$170.00}. I will call XXXX county myself but I WILL NOT pay these made up fees. I want to warn the CFPB that this company is attempting to collect fees from people that are not owed. If they are doing it to me, they are doing it to other people.

My car has a transponder, I went through a toll out of state ( MD ) on XX/XX/XXXX. I thought the toll was paid through the account set up through the transponder. Now I am informed that I need to pay at {$25.00} late fee for a {$4.00} toll. I think it's totally unfair to be charged a late fee for a toll I was not informed of earlier.

I was contacted by NCC who is saying I owe XXXX ( never heard of them until now ) {$1.00} and therefore I have to pay {$100.00}. I don't owe this company any money. It looks like a scam and I already told them I don't owe any money. They have no proof I owe this company any money. And obviously if I owed a company {$1.00} I could afford to pay it. I am afraid this will hurt my credit score though. Can you please ensure this false allegation isn't listed on my credit report?
