Nationwide Biweekly AdministrationAddress : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OH XXXXPhone : ( XXXX ) XXXXXXXXWith the recent CFPB UDAP case against the above company, along with me refinancing my mortgage, I wanted to cancel my bi-weekly debits. I have called over 20 times, submitted several emails, and even submitted an online change of service. Every time you call, you get XXXX of XXXX messages - 1 ) they are experiencing high call volume and to call back the next business day ( automatically hangs up on you ) or 2 ) they are experiencing technical difficulties and to call back the next business day ( again hangs up on you ). Further, when you submit an online request to cancel your service, you click submit and a XXXX number pops up and tells you to call customer service. Clearly, this company is making it difficult to cancel their service as they are fighting the CFPB and banks denying their ACH services. I submitted an initial complaint months ago regarding UDAP. They market bi-weekly payments, but really it 's bi-weekly debits. They are only making a single mortgage payment for you. Very deceptive, and bad business. Now, they are making it unfair to customers by denying the ability to cancel. I am sick of calling. Futhermore, I received the below email which is completly pathetic : Dear Customer, I am writing you this email to speak from my heart and ask you for your help ... For many years NBA has provided services that have helped consumers like you to eliminate interest charges and pay off your mortgages faster. As a result, lenders do not like what we are doing for consumers because it affects their interest revenue. Over the years we have faced many battles instigated by Lenders and currently we are locked in a battle with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) who wants to take away our valuable consumer service from you. When I first started NBA I had XXXX secretary helping me to take calls from consumers. After I had just taken my life savings of {$10000.00} to mail out letters to consumers to educate and make them aware of our biweekly program service, I was prompted in my heart from the Lord to go pray and fast for a week at the small church I was attending. I thought to myself that there was no way I could do this because I just spent my life savings to mail out all those letters and I needed to help my secretary take all the calls coming in to enroll the customers in our service. There was no way she could handle all the calls and I could end up losing my life savings. I had my wife and XXXX little girls living in an apartment depending on me to provide for them. How could I just take off a whole week, after I had just mailed out all those letters, to pray and fast for a week at my church? There was no way! But for the next two days I kept feeling it so strongly in my heart that I was supposed to do this. I told my wife what I felt and she said, " you better do what the Lord is wanting you to do ''. So after debating it in my mind I decided that I needed to do it. So I called my pastor and told him what I wanted to do. He was encouraged by what I was choosing to do and he gave me a key to the church. That Monday, instead of heading to the office to answer all the calls that would have just started to come in, I was on my way to my church to pray and fast. I thought in my mind, as I was driving, that I could lose everything. There was no way my XXXX, just recently hired, secretary was going to be able to handle all those calls successfully and enroll them. But I thought, if I lose everything because I put the Lord first by obeying and seeking him first, so be it! That will be my testimony that I lost everything pursuing the Lord and obeying what he put on my heart to do. I ran out of space, but it gets worse ...

There are companies preying on new homeowners, who are more vulnerable than experienced homeowners. They are searching public records to find sales, and mailing letters to the consumers. The XXXX mailings are from the Nationwide Biweekly Administration ( NBA ) and another company. There are more details below about the NBA, but the other company offered to give me copies of documents I already had for a {$100.00} fee. I believe it was either the deed or the promissory note. If I had the letter, I would give the company name. In any case, it was a scam and it is disconcerting that the CFPB is allowing these companies to continue functioning. I have a mortgage through a credit union, but serviced by another company. They do not offer biweekly payments through the lender or servicer, even though there is no prepayment penalty. I have been getting mail from a third party, the NBA, since we got the mortgage, offering to set up biweekly payments and demonstrating the interest savings. I read a blog at this link : XXXX, and found out that the company is a scam. My company was n't that same company, but it was just as predatory to consumers. Here is a summary of predatory actions : The word " Administration '' in the company name makes it seem like a legitimate government entity. The {$1000.00} set-up fee they charge is disclosed inconspicuously on the back of the letter, in tiny print, and the complaints on the XXXX website indicate that they do n't verbally disclose the fee over the phone, when setting up the service. The sample calculation for the expected interest savings is not relevant to consumers. It says something like, " This is not your interest rate or loan amount -- your actual savings may differ '' and they inflate the amount of savings being advertised by using a sample rate about 2 % higher than market rates. I do n't believe the rate applies to consumers at all, because credit scores low enough to cause rates that high would n't qualify for mortgage at all. They disclaim that they are n't affiliated with any lender, but do n't mention that your lender may not accept partial payments. If your lender is like mine, it says right on the statement, " Partial payments will be held in a suspense account until the full amount is collected. '' That means, even if I send in extra payments toward my next mortgage payment, they will sit in an account with no interest savings. ( " Principal-only '' payments are another matter -- this is about partial payments here, not extra payments. ) What 's worse : I do n't earn interest on a suspense account like I would in a savings account. The savings quote assumes payments are immediately applied to the loan : that is the only way to save on accruing interest. Otherwise, there is no benefit to doing this if the lender waits until the full amount is there. If the lender does n't accept the payments, then the service consumers are paying for is not being rendered and they are getting no benefit for the consideration being paid. Is n't that breach of contract? Who would set up a payment plan to only pay fees and not get any benefits? Companies such as the NBA do a disservice to borrowers and should not exist. This is the sort of company the CFPB should protect consumers from. The XXXX gave this company an " A '' ranking but they defraud consumers. Read some of the comments on the XXXX website to get an idea. Even if the NBA offered a legitimate service, they charge a fee for something that would be available through the mortgage lender or the servicer for no cost. It also would n't hurt to define " XXXX-time '' homebuyers as a legally protected class and make the fines for defrauding them extra steep just to deter this kind of predatory behavior. I have a copy of the letter available.

I became a customer of Nationwide Biweekly Administration on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, with the goal of paying off my mortgage early, and accruing less interest throughout the life of the loan. NBA 's program would enable me to pay my mortgage off in 24.9 years, with more than {$40000.00} in interest savings. My first mortgage payment through NBA was debited on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. In XXXX XXXX, I received word that NBA lost its banking relationship, and therefore my account had been deactivated. NBA made my XXXX XXXX, XXXX mortgage payment to my lender, but suspended my account immediately thereafter. Because NBA suspended my service before a year had passed, NBA never actually made an extra payment to my lender as promised, and therefore during the time I spent as an NBA customer, they never helped me save any money, but rather cost me money in fees to set up and participate in their program. Since the XXXX XXXX deactivation of my account, I have received multiple pieces of correspondence - both through email and the U.S. postal service - indicating that the suspension of my account was only temporary, but that NBA expected to be back up and running, and therefore able to resume service with my account in the very near term. It 's now been more than 5 months since my account was deactivated, and NBA shows no signs of securing a new banking relationship that will enable it to resume service. Upon notification that my account was suspended, I immediately sought a reimbursement from NBA for the one-time set-up fee of {$930.00}, plus the {$80.00} in administrative fees I paid NBA, for a total reimbursement of {$1000.00}. I sought this reimbursement on the grounds that, based on NBA suspending my account before it ever made an extra payment toward my mortgage, it had failed to perform the service I had been paying it for - making extra payments toward my mortgage to ultimately save me money over the life of the loan. During conversations between me and NBA brokered by the XXXX, NBA repeatedly told me that they would ultimately be able to perform the service I 'd paid them for of making extra payments toward my mortgage, once they were back up and running with a new banking relationship. I repeatedly informed them that they had proven themselves an untrustworthy business, in losing their banking relationship and suspending my service through no choice of mine, and that I would never resume service with them, even in the unlikely even they did secure a new banking relationship. After multiple rounds of discussions brokered by the XXXX, NBA ultimately refused to reimburse me any money, and the XXXX closed my complaint case, considering it " answered '' but not resolved to the customer 's liking. The bottom line is, because my service was involuntarily suspended by NBA before NBA ever made an extra mortgage payment toward my account, they failed to hold up their end of our agreement to save me money, but instead cost me money, and I am owed a reimbursement for the set-up and administrative fees. In addition to NBA 's failure to hold up their end of our agreement, they also unethically and untruthfully market their services, and were ultimately sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. NBA was slick, untruthful, and not forthcoming about their one-time, non-refundable set-up fee during our set-up phone call. Had I understand this set-up fee, I never would 've become an NBA customer. Unfortunately, once I did become a customer, NBA actually cost me more than {$1000.00} and never saved me any money, because it never made an extra payment toward my mortgage. Again, I am seeking a reimbursement of {$1000.00} in set-up and administrative fees.

I have been a customer of Nationwide Biweekly Administration since XXXX XXXX. At the time, they lured me in with promises of chopping seven years off of my 30-year mortgage, and all I had to do was pay half a mortgage payment to them every two weeks ( instead of a full mortgage payment once per month ). After the initial payment that included setup fees, they took {$740.00} out of my account every other Friday ( the last time being XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) and paid my regular mortgage payment when it was due on the first of the month. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received XXXX identical e-mails from them entitled " Help Save Nationwide Biweekly Adminisstration Inc. ( NBA ) ''. In this rambling e-mail, the President/CEO of NBA, XXXX XXXX XXXX, basically said that his company was under attack by your organization, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( and specifically XXXX XXXX ). I did not follow up on his request to call ( XXXX ) XXXX to speak on NBA 's behalf - I have had an increasing concern over the past couple of years that I was being foolish and wasting my money through NBA, when I suspected I could easily just do for myself what they were doing for me and save both on the fees and the headaches associated with dealing with a XXXX party ( NBA is obviously external to the agreement between me and my mortgage holder, XXXX XXXX ). Last week, on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received XXXX e-mails from NBA, all identical except for the subject line, which said " Account Suspension Notice - Open Immediately '', " Account Suspension Notice - Open Immediately - 2nd Notice '', or " Account Suspension Notice - Open Immediately - 3rd Notice '' ( i.e. there were XXXX sets of XXXX notifications, all on the same day ). In a nutshell, NBA said ... " ... we must inform you that we must suspend your account TEMPORARILY. This is not your fault, and we are working hard to resolve this situation as soon as possible. The most important things that you need to know are that : If we debited your account sufficiently in XXXX, NBA will make your next payment due XXXX XXXX, XXXX ; We will NOT be debiting your account in XXXX. YOU will need to make your next FULL LOAN PAYMENT due XXXX XXXX, XXXX directly to your lender yourself ; and If there are any funds remaining in trust after NBA makes your XXXX XXXX, XXXX payment, they will be promptly returned to you. " There have been no follow-up e-mails. My numerous attempts to call have been met with the recording that says that due to unusually high call volume, call back later. They have not responded to e-mails. It is now after XXXX XXXX EST on XXXX XXXX. They have not as yet paid my mortgage payment for XXXX XXXX, XXXX, as they promised they would in the " account suspension '' e-mails. I went back this past weekend and reviewed what NBA had taken out of my account over the past five years versus what they had actually paid to my mortgage holder, and there was over an {$11000.00} difference ( which will drop to about {$9700.00}, if they actually do end up paying my mortgage today ). I am not sure how much of that is what NBA considers " fees ''.

A couple of years ago, we were introduced to Nationwide Biweekly Administration regarding a Mortgage reduction plan they were promoting. After speaking with them, they ensured us that there were no up front fees other than a {$3.00} processing fee taken from our bi weekly withdraw. They further stated that the key to the biweekly process came from XXXX bi weekly withdraws ( essentially paying 13 months instead of 12 months ). The process would include an initial debit that acted as a " deferred payment '' which they assured would, in its entirety, eventually go to our mortgage payment. In mid XXXX of 2015, we were contacted by Nationwide Biweekly and informed that for an unspecified reason, they could not pay our bank that month, that they were essentially dropping us until the problem could be resolved, and that we would have to resume making our own mortgage payments for that time. We inquired about the money already taken out for the month, and they affirmed it would be redebited to our account ( which it was, minus {$3.00} ). However, while recently researching making bi weekly payments directly through our mortgage provider, it came to our attention that Nationwide Biweekly had charged its customers a large lump fee up front, which we were told was not the case when we signed up. We then contacted Nationwide Biweekly and inquired about the alleged initial fee. This was the first time anyone at Nationwide Biweekly informed us of that fee. While she would not quote an exact monetary amount, she informed us that it was withdrawn from our initial first debit. Since Nationwide Biweekly failed to inform us of this fee, and since they dropped us prematurely ( prior to the completion of the mortgage pay off ), we wanted to know how to get that initial fee back ( since they originally told us it was a deferred payment that would go toward our final payment - which is did not, nor will it since they dropped us ). The representative told us it was non refundable, but upon further pressing, stated she was not able to answer that question and would transfer us to someone who could. We then waited on hold for approximately 45 minutes before our connection was terminated.

Shortly after purchasing my first home I was inundated with letters from a company by the name of Nationwide Biweekly Administration , Inc. These letters, copies of which are attached to this complaint, claimed to provide a more " budget friendly '' payment for my new mortgage loan, provided a " 100 % SAVINGS GUARANTEE '', dissuaded me from adjusting the payments I submit to my mortgage servicer to achieve the same promised results, and indicated their offer would expire because there was a date for me to contact them by. However, the letters did not list any payment processing fees or enrollment fees. I called Nationwide Biweekly Administration, Inc. on XXXX XXXX, 2015 to obtain more information from them, and their representative advised me there would be a {$2.00} debit fee for every payment ( XXXX payments x {$2.00} = {$65.00} per year ) as well as a " one-time deferred payment fee '' which would be approximately 10 % of the gross savings. Per their own correspondence, their sample interest savings for my loan was {$190000.00}. Per their own representative, that would translate to a {$19000.00} one-time deferred payment fee, which is egregious to say the least. After asking if I could simply add XXXX of my monthly principal and interest payment to regular monthly payments in order to equal 13 monthly payments and achieve the same results, their representative again dissuaded me from doing so. Their representative also advised me their letters have an expiration date because most savings occur within the first year. Their representative also advised me that they would also audit my payments to ensure payments are being applied correctly, to which I replied payment applications are easily reviewable on a payment history from my servicer. I believe Nationwide Biweekly Administration , Inc. has misrepresented the interest savings I would achieve through their program, has mislead me about the cost of the program, and persists in offering a deceptive program in which I in no way requested materials on.

After purchasing our second home, we were solicited by Nationwide Biweekly Administration , Inc. and offered a lifetime membership with them for a fee. They were to provide a service that paid our mortgage bi-weekly promising to payoff our 30 yr mortgage in 23.9 yrs. They also promised to conduct an annual audit of our mortgage company 's accounting for our mortgage yearly, upon our request, AFTER the anniversary date ( XX/XX/XXXX ) each year. Having XXXX homes, we agreed to sign up for both our mortgages on XXXX/XXXX/14. As the first year of service was approaching, we began getting bombarded with notices that a third party bank would no longer do business with them and through no fault of their own, they temporarily could not continue to provide services in accordance with our contracts and they could not refund any portion of the fees ( {$740.00} & XXXX ) b/c it is a lifetime membership. Attempts to contact the company were not successful. We began getting & continue to get further solicitations for another product they offer called XXXX XXXX XXXX and these advertisements compare the savings of their XXXX XXXX program, costing {$2600.00} to {$4900.00}, to their biweekly program and they state the biweekly program only takes 4.2 years ( 50 months ) off the term of the mortgage. The original solicitations in 2014 for the their biweekly program stated the program saved 6.1 yrs ( 73 months ) off the term of the mortgages. The current offers for the XXXX program starts with, " We hope to have your biweekly program reactivated soon. '' then it ends with saying they will give us credit for the fee we paid for the bi-weekly program to be put toward the fee for the XXXX program ( {$2600.00} to {$4900.00} ). This is fraud and this company is getting away with ripping off a lot of people.

Upon the closing of the purchase of our home in XXXX XXXX, we received a solicitation in the mail for Nationwide Bi-Weekly 's program. We signed up with Nationwide on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, on the promise that our mortgage would be paid off sooner than 30 years. Our bi-weekly payment was set at {$340.00} for a total monthly payment of {$680.00}. We were charged a " one-time set up fee '' of {$340.00} at the beginning of the contract. In XXXX XXXX, we received a letter from Nationwide stating that " due to the loss of [ their ] banking relationships, [ our ] account will be temporarily deactivated effective immediately. '' We were further instructed that we should make all further payments to our mortgage lender directly ourselves. Just XXXX months prior, we had attempted to set up bi-monthly payments directly with our lender, and were informed that if we changed our payment plans, would essentially be terminating our contract with Nationwide, and we would lose our " set-up fee '' of {$340.00}. This was counterproductive to the goal we were attempting to accomplish, and no small amount of money for us to lose, so we felt we were forced to stay with Nationwide. Since XXXX XXXX, we have sought the assistance of the Kentucky Attorney General 's office, and did not get any relief. Now we have discovered that the CFPB recently sued Nationwide Bi-Weekly and won. In auditing our bank account for the amounts paid to Nationwide versus the amounts paid to our mortgage lender by Nationwide on our behalf, it appears that there was a difference of {$410.00} that Nationwide must have kept/profited, as that amount of money was not applied to our account with our mortgage lender, in addition to the {$340.00} " set-up fee '' that they are still holding, without just cause.

Nationwide bi-weekly administration has been sending me things in the mail for the last 2+ years advertising a program they have to pay off your home mortgage in 21 years instead of 30 by them taking half of your monthly payment out every 2 weeks and paying it to the bank so you make an extra payment every year. I agreed to this program and in exchange they charged me half of my first years extra payment as their fee. After a year my mortgage was transfered to a new lender and they said in order to set it up again they would have to charge me again. So reluctantly I paid them again approximately a year ago. I received a phone call yesterday from the company that has my home loan, XXXX, stating that they have n't received a payment since XXXX XXXX and that I now have a late fee on my account. I immediately called nationwide bi-weekly administration to discuss the issue. They informed me that they are having issues with banks and that they are no longer able to withdraw money to make the payments for their customers. I said that 's fine, refund me the money I 'll do it myself ( I learned I can do it through my bank for free with no hassle at all ) to which the supervisor I was speaking to responded " it is our business policy that we will not refund the initial set up fee I 'm sorry '' I said that 's fine, but we both entered into a contract correct? I 'm fine paying that fee as long as you guys do your part of taking care of my mortgage parents. Of which you are not completing. So in turn voids the contract since the goods/services that I am paying for are not being completed. All she continued to say was " I 'm sorry but it is our business policy to not refund the initial fee ''

I took out a mortgage in XXXX 2015 and in XXXX 2015 entered into an agreement with Nationwide Biweekly Administration , Inc. to assist with making bi-weekly mortgage payments to my mortgage holder ( XXXX ) since XXXX did not offer a bi-weekly payment option. Then, on XXXX XXXX, 2015, I received a form email from the President/CEO of Nationwide seeking my help in stopping the CFPB from shutting the company down, included all kinds of religious based statements ( no need for religion in a regulatory dispute ) and bashing the CFPB. Then, I received a letter later that month letting me know that the CFPB had suspended their operations and that I had to re-assume the payment of my mortgage on my own and that they would get back to me when they had cleared their regulatory hurdles and established a new banking relationship. Since that time I have been attempting to cancel my agreement with Nationwide for non-performance of services on their part to be denied ( verbally ) and the escalation hotline puts you on eternal hold to the point that the system eventually hangs up on you. I have since re-established my auto-draft with XXXX and they now have a program where I can make bi-weekly payments to help reduce the 30 year stated term of the loan. Then, today, to add insult to injury, I received an email from Nationwide advertising " advanced features '' to pay off my mortgage. I am bit baffled at how this company can continue to advertise products and services to solicit new clients when it can not fulfill its contractual obligations to the thousands of customers that paid them to provide such service?

I have had Nationwide BiWeekly Administration ( whom the CFPB is presently suing for fraud ) taking money from me to pay my mortgage ( currently serviced by XXXX ). At the beginning of XXXX, they started sending emails saying their banking relationships were in jeopardy, and by the end of the month they were saying they would not be able to pay any mortgage companies for the foreseeable future. The emails stated any money they were unable to pay out would be returned, and provided contact details to speak to customer service reps. The phone number provided has no option to speak to a human, it plays a recording and hangs up. Their main office number says, at every path on the phone system, that they have a high call volume, please call back later, and then hangs up. I have attempted to call them every day this week, multiple times, with no change. I have tried to contact them via phone and email so that I can get the {$750.00} they withdrew from my bank account back, so that I can make the mortgage payment myself, which was due XXXX. I have received no response, and it would seem by the large volume of their customers online telling the same story, that they have completely ceased communicating with anybody. Meanwhile, a great many of us can not afford to make our mortgage payments without the money they took. They first notified us of the issue at the beginning of XXXX. My payment was taken on XXXX, well after they knew they would have trouble paying it out. I need assistance in recouping my funds from them, so that I can pay my mortgage.

Dear Sir I purchased my home in XXXX XXXX CA. in XX/XX/2015 XX/XX/XXXX after making my mortgage payment I signed up with Nationwide after being told I would be paying my house off much sooner and even reducing the interest on my loan. I was told that my only cost would be {$3.00} after each debit payment. After signing on with Nationwide I received some information however did NOT receive a copy of our agreement. XX/XX/XXXX I received an e-mail from Nationwide stating that they were being force out of business, and would no longer be making my bank payments after XX/XX/XXXX. At this time I have an excess of {$700.00} that had been withdrawn from my bank account. I called Nationwide this morning and after over an hour of waiting I was finally able to talk with a real person. I was told that I would not be receiving a refund that my {$700.00} was a Setup fee. I ask the lady that I spoke with to send me a copy of our agreement, since I had never received one, which she did comply with. Even though I was told that my only costs were the {$3.00} bi-weekly fees associated with the bi-weekly withdraws from my account. As you can see from the agreement that was sent to me this morning, there is a Setup fee which for me is {$700.00}. It also shows that no moneys extra will be paid to my principal balance. Now tell me, why would anyone ever agree to this? I am hoping that you will be able to help me or at least help me contact someone who can. I am XXXX years old and can not afford to lose this money.

We have been enrolled in the Nationwide Bi-Weekly Administration ( NBA ) Interest Minimizer program for over 3 years. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, we noticed that our bi-weekly draws for our mortgage payment had not been completed, as scheduled with NBA. Upon contacting NBA, I was informed that all of their accounts had been suspended, and that we should have received an email in XXXX informing us of the situation. We had not received such an email. An NBA representative informed me that I should continue to make my mortgage payments to my financial institution on the normal bi-weekly schedule. I contacted the financial institution, and they said it was impossible to make bi-weekly payments to them. We would need to make XXXX payment per month, as before. Had this not came to our attention through our own personal accounting, we would have not known to send any payments to our mortgage lender, and would have ended up in default. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I discovered, through an internet search, that the CFPB had filed a federal lawsuit against NBA, due to their ongoing dishonest practices against their customers, like ourselves.. My wife and I are asking to be included in that lawsuit as a plaintive, and to be eligible for any and all compensation that may be due my wife and I as a result of the current court proceedings, as we too have been deceived by believing that we were " ... saving thousands of dollars '', by allowing NBA to handle our mortgage payments. When, apparently, that is not the truth.

XX/XX/XXXX my wife set up a bi-weekly loan payment plan with what she thought was a department of our lender and with no extra fee 's. XX/XX/XXXX we noticed the payments stopped. I contacted my lender and was advised we had a third party that was paying and to contact them. I found it was a company called " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and after several attempts, I was finally able to reach someone in that company ( XXXX ) on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. My wife was unaware that there was a fee in the contract that she signed. The company has since had their bank backing dropped and can no longer provide service to us. I was promised a follow-up in 1-2 business days and patiently waited 5 business days before calling back. I called back and got XXXX who got me in contact with a supervisor named XXXX. She refused to do anything, but advise she will not refund or help in any way. Number XXXX on the contract we signed stated that their half of the agreement is to pay the payments in full until the loan is paid in full. XXXX also advised on the phone they guarantee all payments will be paid in full and on time and this guarantee is not upheld. This agreement and service was not made and essentially we paid over {$360.00} for a service that was in no way upheld. I was advised that your Bureau is leading a lawsuit towards them and am reaching out for assistance in this matter.

To Whom it May Concern : I was sent a letter from my mortgage company with a return address of XXXX XXXX. Inside it mentioned a Bi-Weekly Program that promised to save me interest over time and I believed to be through my mortgage company. I signed up for the program and {$7500.00} was taken out of my debit account in XX/XX/2015. I learned on XX/XX/XXXX via a letter that it was a non-affiliated company, Nationwide BA and that they did not have bank funding to make my XX/XX/XXXX payment. I tried calling the company number provided to get a message, " We are currently experiencing technical difficulties '' and gave an e-mail address. I tried to e-mail but got an automated response. I have talked to my mortgage company and they received {$6900.00} from this company. Nationwide BA misappropriated {$510.00}. My bank reversed the last {$500.00} that was taken out of my account. I am not asking for the {$15.00} back from Nationwide BA but they are going to send the {$500.00} to collections that was reversed by my bank. When I tried to resolve this matter with XXXX XXXX at the extension provided XXXX XXXX Ext XXXX ) it hangs up. I waited on hold for over an hour and could not speak to a representative. I understand that the CFPB has filed a lawsuit against this company. I feel that this company misrepresented who they were to me on the phone.

Shortly after purchasing my home I received a call from the National Bi Weekly Loan Association. They explained to me that they worked with my home loan company to break my payments up if I chose to do so. Not knowing that I was going to be charged for this service I agreed to break my payment up in hopes of paying my loan off faster like they had explained I would. The representative never once told me of any fees whatsoever. He worded things so that I thought they worked directly with Idaho Housing And Finance. I tried contacting the company in XXXX when my payment did n't go thru but never could get ahold of any representatives. The automated system just told me that they were experiencing high call volumes and to try back later. I did some XXXX searching to try and figure out what was going on and that 's when I came across reviews from people and realized I had been getting charged for this bi-weekly setup. I still have not been able to get ahold of this company to figure out how much I have been charged over the 4+ years that I made payments through them. Not only did they use sneaky habits to confuse me and fail to tell me about any fees, but they failed to hold up their end of the deal by helping me pay my loan down faster. I 'm under the impression that they have cost me much much more than I have saved.

I revoked Nationwide 's authorization to debit my account several months ago when my insurance and taxes went up. They continued taking {$330.00} out of my account every two weeks for a couple months after several requests for them to stop. I finally worked with XXXX XXXX XXXX and home mortgage and determined that XXXX was taking my money and placing it in a secondary account. Since XXXX XXXX does n't accept partial payments, my mortgage was n't being paid, resulting in a letter saying I owed them {$1600.00}. I paid this out of pocket and XXXX XXXX opened a fraud claim against Nationwide. My bank credited me {$990.00} out of the {$1300.00} that they determined that Nationwide owed me. I 've been waiting for the additional funds that Nationwide owes me, when I receive a letter from them stating that I owe them {$320.00} or they will turn me over to a collection agency. I called Nationwide in regards to the matter and they claim that they were paying my mortgage, when XXXX XXXX home mortgage confirmed they were not. I have spent in excess of 12 hours dealing with Nationwide and XXXX XXXX home mortgage trying to resolve this matter and thought it was resolved through XXXX XXXX, until Nationwide tries this deplorable attempt to further extort fraudulent funds from myself.

Nationwide Biweekly, whom you already have a lawsuit against, stopped paying my mortgage without reasonable notice. They did not take money for the mortgage payment without returning it, and paid the mortgage until XXXX 2015,. They sent me the check for the XXXX payment when they said the bank did not process the check they sent them, but I was unable to reach anyone at that time to find out why they sent me the check. I received a notice from the bank who has my mortgage at the end of XXXX, advising me that I had not made the XXXX payment, and that late charges were being added. After a couple of attempts, I was finally able to talk to someone at XXXX, who said that they had suspended all accounts because they had lost their relationship with their banks. ( They blame you!! ) I asked if they were going to refund my fees, since I did not ask that they stop and was not informed that they were stopping. They said no. They clam to have tried to email us, but the email address they said they used has not been valid for years. They should have received a failure notification regarding the email. They did not call the phone number on file, which we still have, or send a mailed notification to the address on file, which we still live at.

I signed up with Nationwide Biweekly Administration in XXXX of 2014 for them to be a service company to pay our mortgage every month. XXXX a month half of our mortgage payment is deducted from our bank account and sent to them to forward to our mortgage lender. On XXXX XXXX I received an email that they were having financial issues and suspending accounts but mine was okay. On Saturday, XXXX XXXX I received a letter that my account had been suspended. Today I called XXXX which was on the letter and received a recording that XXXX mortgage payments would be made but going forward we were responsible for our payments. I also called another XXXX number that was on their website ( XXXX ) and XXXX answered who purchased some of NBA 's customers. He tried to get me to become one of his customers. I want my account deactivated and my setup fee reimbursed. As well as assurance that the money I sent to them in XXXX will be used to pay my XXXX mortgage payment. I signed up with Nationwide Biweekly Administration ( NBA ) to have biweekly payments drafted from my account every month to help " minimize my interest payments '' for my mortgage loan. **This message is NOT intended to stop the CFPB. I received a very unprofessional email from the company president stating that the company was in danger of closing and pleading customers to stop the CFPB from shutting them down. I called my mortgage company to see if NBA was indeed making biweekly payments on my behalf. They were not. They were holding my biweekly payments until they received the full payment amount and then sending it to my mortgage lender. So, basically, I was paying NBA a processing fee for nothing. Since the payments were not made biweekly like the company advertised, there were no additional savings to me. More money was coming out of my account than necessary. Now, the company will not answer customer phone calls or emails. I 've tried multiple times to contact NBA to no avail. The company took a payment out of my account XX/XX/XXXX and I have no way of knowing where that money is. I need answers, but obviously can not get them from NBA.

I am writing to complain that a very important and useful institution that I use may go out of business, and they say it is because the CFPB is interefering. For many years, Nationwide Biweekly Administration took my biweekly payments and transferred them to my mortgage company, which at one time was XXXX Mortgage. When XXXX Mortgage was not properly distributing my funds and I could not get them to respond to me, NBA aided me and the problem was resolved. XXXX has since gone of out business but NBA has been there all along to help. XXXX XXXX is from Ohio, as am I, and I supported him in his elections here, and worked with his own former staff when I was a XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX of Ohio. I was very happy with his success in getting this position in the Obama administration, which I have also supported. However, I am very unhappy with this situation, NBA, located in XXXX, Ohio, has been a great help to people like me who which to have their loans serviced. This is a setback which I do not appreciate. Please consider what you have done in this regard and restore NBA 's ability to work for consumers like me. Thank you.

We have been customers of Nationwide Biweekly Administration Inc. since XX/XX/XXXX. I have had MANY arguments with them about how they were not saving us money and they argued if they were wrong, they would have to refund me every single fee, so they were right because they were n't going to. They performed an audit to try and prove they were saving us money. They have very often been late on making our mortgage payments, not 'on the books ' late, but when we signed up our contract said our mortgage is due ON the XXXX of every month. No the XXXX or XXXX. Now on XX/XX/XXXX I get a letter in the mail saying my account is suspended and they have {$680.00} of our money. They will not answer their phones and our mortgage payment is due tomorrow and we do n't know what to do. We feel we are entitled to at least every single fee we have ever paid them, including weekly fees, and of course we want to cancel because this letter shows how irresponsible they are. Plus they have our money and wo n't answer the phone. It literally hangs up on you. I emailed them and my emails bounced back. What do I do??? Please help.

I 'm pretty feed up with payment processors sending out mailings that resort to scaring people into reading their mailer and possibly tricking a consumer into calling them. The mailer i received today has " Mortgage Payment Information Enclosed '' most prominently displayed on the front of the letter in bold, red letters. It also has the return address of " Loan Payment Administration '' and through the window has " Regarding your : '' and my current mortgage called out by lender name. The body of the letter also states the direction to " Contact us by XXXX XXXX, 2015 '' and that " if you decline the biweekly program, you will be asked to confirm that you understand that you are voluntarily giving up the interest savings and loan term reduction. " We know what they 're doing and while it may be technically legal because they 've found the right loopholes, it 's still predatory. They must be tricking some people into calling, otherwise why would they do it. It should not be allowed. It 's just flat out dishonesty and that sort of dishonest should not be tolerated.

I signed up for Nationwide Biweekly Administiration 's program. The program was to reduce my interest payments, and the length of my loan by withdrawing half of my mtg payment twice a month, effectively making one additional payment a year to be applied to extra principle. Implicit in this arrangement is that this program is to be in effect for the duration of this loan, as the purpose is to reduce the length of the loan. My service was suspended in XX/XX/XXXX and has not resumed, false promises were made that the program would resume in XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX. They have ceased ALL communications and will not answer my e-mail. When I call on the phone, I get a CSR parroting lines from a script. They have collected the full fee for their services and have not delivered. They have flat out said they will not refund anyone part of the fee. Now I find this article that a complaint has been filed against these crooks. I would like to add my name to the list of people who are due compensation from this crooked company.

I signed up for Nationwide Biweekly in XX/XX/2014 to save money on my mortgage loan. My husband and I decided that we could handle our payment the same way Nationwide does so I called to cancel the service in XXXX. The representative told me that I could not cancel because they have not collected the service fee yet. She told me that if I call back after XXXX that I could cancel. I had no idea there was service fee and I was shocked when she told me it was a whole mortgage payment. If I had known about this fee I would have never signed up for the service. I believed that the two extra payments from XXXX and XXXX would go directly to my mortgage as an extra payment, not a setup fee. I recently got an email from Nationwide saying my account is "temporarily" cancelled because they lost their agreement with their bank. I have tried contacting them through email and over the phone. I haven't got a response through email and whenever I call customer service it says they are experiencing high call volumes and to call back.

I signed up with Nationwide Biweekly Administration ( a service based in XXXX OH to make biweekly payments to my mortgage company on my behalf ) in XX/XX/XXXX and was charged an {$800.00} initial fee with the promise that over the life of their service to me, I would end up saving more than that amount of money in saved interest. Just 5 months later, NBA notified me that they could no longer deliver the agreed upon service of making biweekly mortgage payments on my behalf due to the loss of their banking relationships. NBA 's marketing when I joined said I was guaranteed to save money, and even now their web site claims " Our money back savings guarantee ensures that if you do n't earn your fee back in additional equity and interest savings, you can keep the equity that has been earned and we will refund you all of your money. '' I have contacted the company to demand a refund of my {$800.00} fee since they clearly can not complete the services they promised to deliver.

I signed up for a third-party bi-weekly mortgage payment service that withdrew funds from my bank account and made my monthly mortgage payments to my lenders. This was done through a company called National Bi-Weekly Administration in Ohio. They made the withdrawls and payments as promised. I recently received noticed from them that they would temporarily have to suspend the withdrawls and payments due to an issue with their bank. I then found out that the CFPB was investigating them and made bi-weekly payment arrangements directly through my mortgage lender. When I went online to close my account with National Bi-Weekly, I was directed to a page that told me I would have to do that by phone. I have been calling the number posted ( XXXX ) daily since XXXX XXXX and keep getting a recording saying that they are experiencing technical difficulties to try back the following business day. I just want to close my account with National Bi-Weekly and can not.

I enrolled with Nationwide Biweekly Administration for bi-weekly debits to pay-down my mortgage " quicker '' and save money on interest. I signed a contract that was to last the lifetime of the loan ( 30 years ) and they were to provide the service bi-weekly to pay the loan for me. I was charged {$580.00} for these services with on-going charges of $ XXXX/year. After 2 years with the program, my bank is no longer being debited and NBA is no longer paying the loan for me. They have " suspended '' all accounts and refuse to refund the enrollment costs taken for their services which they are no longer providing. There is no where in the contract that says they can temporarily not provide the services I paid a very large sum to use. They are not available by phone and after weeks of trying to reach someone I was told that no refunds will be issued - which is a problem for me because I am not interested in paying for services that I am not receiving.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I entered into agreement with Nationwide Biweekly Administration to handle my mortgage payments on a biweekly basis ( as opposed to monthly ). I was told that this would drastically reduce the amount of interest I would have to pay, and would shorten the length of my mortgage. I have tried repeatedly to contact this company to verify that payments were being made to my lender, but every attempt to contact them ( by phone or email ) has resulted in a dead end. Suspecting that I had been scammed, I have spent the last 3 days attempting to contact customer service at NBA. Every phone number they listed lead me down a path of " technical difficulties '' or " high call volume '' excuses. Not once was I able to speak to a human being. I even entered the phone option to " close my account '' with them, but that too lead to a dead end. How can I put a stop to my relationship with NBA if there is no way to contact them?

XXXX program sent XXXX e-mails to us in two days with our account number, but someone else 's name, indicating that they are suspending our mortgage payment program. They indicated that their banks have stopped handling the mortgage deductions. They did take payments XXXX XXXX for the XXXX XXXX payments on our first and second mortgages. We are told that we must make the XXXX payments ourselves. We called the company and asked about fee refunds. They said the account is only suspended and not closed, so they are not refunding fees. We feel that we have been scammed and given only part of the story. We want to protect ourselves in this situation. What action of the CFPB caused the banks to stop supporting the XXXX XXXX program? Will the program be resuming as indicated in our call to them? If it will resume, when might that happen? Can we trust the information coming from the company?

I have been using National Bi-Weekly Administration , Inc bi-monthly payment plan for about a year to pay for my mortgage. I received literature in the mail and called to inquire about this " service ''. I was immediately sold on the idea of paying my loan off sooner and that this was the best way to do it. I feel that this company does not act in the best interest of the consumer and they rely on misinformation to sell their " service ''. I feel cheated and angry. Frankly, it is humiliating to realize you have been taken even for its relatively small amount. I want to help ensure this does not happen to others. I feel like NBA is n't providing a service at all like what they advertise. I feel the service NBA offers it that of someone that takes your mail to your mailbox for you. If they were to describe it in such a manner it would not be nearly as successful.

Really concerned about how Nationwide Biweekly Administration handled the notification to it 's members about the suspended Biweekly program. For those people ( to inlcude myself ) that does not check their e-mail regularly this has caused a significant financial challenge in having to make XXXX mortgage payments in one month which has put a strain on my financial situation. This is not the way I wanted to start 2016. I truly feel that Nationwide Biweekly Administration Inc. is taking advantage of individuals with their marketing skills and the cost to the consumer for the program which for me was {$3500.00} for them to do something that my mortgage company just agreed to do for nothing. Yes I feel stupid for falling into this trap and will not be so naive in the future.

When we bought our home, we received a letter from National Biweekly Administration promising that if we let them service us, we will be able to pay off our 30 year mortgage in 20 years. We decided to accept their offer. Now a year and a half later we received a letter saying that they can no longer hold up to their side of the deal. We had already paid all the necessary fees for their services, and each month, they charge us a fee for their services. We tried to contact them, but can not get through their phone system. They just simply tell us to call back later and hang up on us.

Nationwide Biweekly stopped servicing the " Interest Minimizer '' program. I asked for a refund since they are not providing the service anymore and I only used the service for 1 year of the 25 years that the program should last. They have said several times that they will provide the service again but they do not do it. I have been asking for a refund for about a year and they do not pay any attention to my claim. They just answer that they will provide the service in the future but they do n't.

Been a customer with Nationwide Biweekly Administration for a year. I have lost money in this process due to set up fees, etc. Since your company has sued this company my account was suspended and will be looking at terminating my relationship with this company. I am out more money than I have saved with this program against what they promised me and it is no fault of mine that this company is now suspending business practices. I would like the set up fees refunded to me ASAP. Thanks.
