Nationwide Advantage Mortgage, is my lender for my mortgage. I have tried multiple times to do a modification with this company and I get the paperwork but then I get told different things by all the reps. My original modification started in XXXX and my loan was put on deferment but once that was over it started the foreclosure date starting XX/XX/XXXX. I did modifications since then, they weren't accepted because I didn't make enough money, then they were saying I needed to send in documentation, like proof of insurance, things that I never filled out on the expense statement. Then my account was still being handled by Nationwide Advantage but was being handled by XXXX XXXX. XXXX stated that modification was not sent over to then. My most recent issue is because I feel like this company is trying to force me into this sheriff 's sale. In XXXX I spoke with a representative about my loan and that is when I was told that she was sending out paperwork and that and she told me that once I filled them out that I would have to call in to them because the reason they don't call me is because I filed bankruptcy before so they can reach out to me ( 1st time ever hearing this ). She stated it would have to be in by XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to another representative on XX/XX/XXXX and I informed that rep that I overnighted my documents and she made sure that I had everything filled out and all my documentation that I need was with my modification packet I sent back. I spoke with a rep on XX/XX/XXXX to ask if they received my paperwork, she stated that had not and it needed to be in within 30 days of the sheriff sale date ( 1st time hearing that ). I stated well why give a date of XX/XX/XXXX for the paperwork to be in by because that is a day after the 30 day sheriff sale date. Call on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX spoke with another rep and asked was my paperwork there because the rep I spoke to the day before stated that it wasn't but when I spoke to the post office they stated it was receive in by the company on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX ( tracking numb XXXX XXXX ). She then stated that my paperwork is there but they will not open it because it had to be there 60 days before the sale date, I then stated well which one is it because you rep yesterday stated it would be 30 days. This rep then stated well 45 business days before the sale date. I asked then why would I be sent modification papers with a date of XX/XX/XXXX on them and I have spoken with minimum of 5 different people and you are the 1st person to say this. She stated well you just have to let it go to the sale date. From the time I have had this loan with them I have gotten rude rep 's, money being applied, wrong to my account, payments not being applied then hitting my credit like I was 30 days late and I wasn't because the money was sitting there. I became unemployed in XX/XX/XXXX and I explained all of this to this company and if you look at my payment history I was not late until then. I lost my job because I was falsely accused a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I had to fight this case for 14 months and couldn't get a job because it was an open case fighting XXXX. I went 14 months with no income whatsoever. Once I started working for XXXX XXXX I did another modification, I didn't have enough income and they wanted copies of insurance etc, things I didn't have. I have had steady employment and now they won't accept my paperwork. I have been trying and wanted to start back paying my mortgage months and months ago and I haven't been allowed to because my modification was not accepted. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 25 mins, transferred back into the queue and then hung up on. I just can't believe that a company can treat someone like this and get away with it, when it's concerning so serous as their home. Speaking to a representative now on XX/XX/XXXX and was informed that all the information is int the office, they will not accept my paperwork because I don't have a bank statement. I was originally told that I just needed to send in a letter stating that I don't a have a bank statement and why. I sent in that letter and now they are telling me that the letter isn't good enough because I have to have proof of that even if it in deposited to a debit card because I have to show proof that I can pay my mortgage. I explained to the rep that a bank statement does not prove that you can pay your mortgage but check stubs do, I can not be forced to have a checking or savings account and even if I had one that still isn't proof.

My complaint is regarding XXXX XXXX disrupting my home insurance claim reimbursement process due to their transfer of service to a third party for the final portion of my claim that is nearly completed after beginning the process with XXXX XXXX in the summer of XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, our home sustained hail damage which required a roof replacement as well as repairs to siding, decking, screens, etc. We have been working with XXXX XXXX on processing this claim and following our written agreement and their step-by-step instructions. XXXX XXXX has completed the reimbursement process for the roof replacement, screens and some smaller items. We have been in the midst of processing the remaining balance of {$7700.00} with XXXX XXXX for primarily the final decking and siding repairs that I will be completing shortly. I have been told by XXXX XXXX that any remaining dollars can be returned to me via check, applied to a home improvement project, or applied to the principle balance of our mortgage. On XX/XX/XXXX we received notice that XXXX XXXX would now be using a loan servicing company named XXXX to facilitate our mortgage payments in addition to the remaining balance of our claim. The transfer of service date was XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. The representative was able to set up our recurring mortgage payment and auto-withdrawal. Unfortunately, when asking about the hail damage claim, the representative referred me to a yet another third party company site ( XXXX ) to finalize our claim. I have now called multiple times to their customer service line, working through the extensive phone tree only to have the phone picked up and immediately hung up. XX/XX/XXXX is also claiming via email several times ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ) to not have a record of my claim check in their system. Their website does not indicate any status updates for my pre-existing claim. I have read plenty of reviews of the third party company XX/XX/XXXX that indicate I will not find customer service at the top of priorities for this company. At this point, none of the three companies are responding to my written inquiries. Here are the dates of my inquiries that have not been responded to, with attachments of the written emails. XXXX XXXX : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX : XX/XX/XXXX phone calls that were deliberately disconnected ( there is no written customer support available ) It is frustrating that XXXX XXXX would outsource the last steps of my claim not only to XXXX, but XXXX with the understanding that the transfer of claim service would be this dysfunctional. Further, it is not acceptable for a bank with the slogan " XXXX is on your side '' to disregard their customers ' inquiries directly, while utilizing third parties that are not consistent with that philosophy. My understanding is the final balance for remaining repairs is owed to me in order to complete this process. At this point, no party ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) is claiming to have this money that is rightfully mine as the homeowner. I have never missed a payment with either XXXX or XXXX as the servicer of our mortgage. I would like quick resolution on this matter as our family needs to complete these repairs and move on.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment of {$2000.00} through online banking with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay our mortgage for XXXX and XXXX. I inadvertently selected the wrong biller on our online payments. Our current mortgage holder is XXXX XXXX. Several years ago, we had our mortgage through Nationwide Advantage Mortgage. I inadvertently sent the {$2000.00} to Nationwide Advantage Mortgage instead of XXXX. I realized my error when we received a notification in early XXXX from XXXX that our mortgage was more than 30 days past due. I checked my account and noticed I had sent the payment to the wrong company. I contacted Nationwide Advantage Mortgage through every phone number I could find. Their automated phone system does not allow you to speak to a human without putting in an account number or social security number. I do not know what account number the payment was sent to, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was unable to tell me. I tried pressing zero, saying operator, waiting it out -- nothing could get me through to an actual human. When contacting Nationwide failed, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The person I spoke with said that Nationwide had accepted the payment. But she said XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would open a dispute and that we would have the money back in our account in ten days. I was so relieved. Several days later, we received a letter in the mail that our claim was denied. When I called to inquire, I was told that they denied the claim because I had authorized the payment. I never disputed that I had authorized the payment, but it was done in error and paid to a company where we do not have a mortgage. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX told me there was nothing further they would do and suggested I contact Nationwide ( which of course I can not do because I don't have an account number ). I asked again if they could tell me the account number they sent the payment to, and they said no. With no other options available to me to retrieve the {$2000.00} that Nationwide essentially is keeping fraudulently, I am filing this complaint.

Well my identity has been stolen by one of my family members for over 15 years. My social security number has been used several of times and has made my life miserable! I do not if you can find out where the fraud disappeared too then that wold be great! All I can say is when I moved to XXXX XXXX to leave XXXX XXXX, I had applied an application to an apartment complex and as they ran my credit check they had seen that there was a bankruptcy report. I sighed and shook my head and first thing that popped into my mind was my father. Some how, some way or another his credit faults fell into my credit and social security number. I couldnt believe it. And there were other things as well on my credit where he tried getting loans out on my social security number. Well I had to explain to the lady that I have never owned a mobile home and that was my fathers! What is so cruel is that we have the same exact name except I am an the XXXX and He is XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is me and his is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Long story short I havent took it into consideration. After all that was discovered I asked if I could call my father so maybe he can show you the lease and his signature. All and all he faxed all the necessary paper work to the apartment complex office and it was all resolved. I was just wondering if there was any action to take place? Since it was identity fraud. Thank you and hope to hear from you. I also do not know if who he was dealing with at the time to had put my social in and everything else and for it to show up on my credit and probably affect me for the rest of my living duration.

Initiated new mortgage application for $ XXXX in XX/XX/2017 ( as a prior mortgage customer and had existing equity line ) with Nationwide Advantage. We had $ XXXX to rollover from the sale of our previous home. Our credit score is XXXX. Initial application process went well. Then the process fell apart. Our loan ap was assigned to a rep that then left for a one week vacation and was not available to assist us. The online DocuSign process required submitting large financial documents, which we completed. The file was large and was submitted as a XXXX doc. They were unable to process. Then the DocuSign deadline expired and our on-line application was cancelled. Repeated calls requesting a callback from a loan officer or supervisor went either unanswered or required a second call and were very delayed. Requested the application docs be fed exp to us so we could send back via fed exp. The docs were never received. After several frustrating weeks, we requested our application be cancelled. Had to request multiple times to get our application fee reimbursed. Then we paid off our equity line and ceased any business with Nationwide Adv. Come tax time, our XXXX was supposedly mailed to our old address and returned. I called and gave new address and was told 7-10 days to mail. After two weeks, still no XXXX. Called again and requested it be emailed. Told 3-4 days. After XXXX week, still no XXXX. Finally received in the mail after 3 weeks and it had again been mailed to our old address. Amazing they stay in business. Our experience very disappointing and frustrating.

I paid off my loan for my home on XX/XX/2019. I was told and received papers letting me know the escrow amount would be held for 20 days incase there were payments which had to be made. After 30 days I called to see what was going on and was told a check had been mailed to me on XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive a check. The lady told me to call the following Wednesday if I had not received it yet. I called and a man told me they only issue checks once a month for escrow and that they would be sending me another check on XX/XX/2019. Today is XX/XX/XXXX. After waiting 2 hours on the hold on the phone I talked to XXXX who told me a completely different story. She said they had mailed the check on the 15th and had to wait 30 days to mail another check. She told me to get back with them on the 18th if I have not received it. I asked if there were another place that I could contact them rather than the phone because I was on hold for 2 hours. She suggested the web site which I have been on for about an hour, it has no information about my escrow. I feel like I am getting the run around from this company. I get a completely different story from everyone I talk to. The only thing they all have in common is that they want me to call back. She also said if someone cashed the check they cant reissue it. Now I expect them to say it was cashed so they don't have to refund my escrow. If I used the same excuses they did my credit would be horrible. It is just a wild goose chase from Nationwide.

Nationwide acceptance contacted me on numerous occasions. The first occasion was on XX/XX/23 and we spoke about rates and they said they could beat my current rate and when I told them it was at XXXX they gave me a rate of 7.50 % and I said that is not beating it and take me off your calling list immediately. It was stated to me that it would take up to 30 days, but again on XX/XX/XXXX they called and I said take me off your list I am not interested and I just told you this 3 days ago. I received another call on XX/XX/, said take me off your list and I told them on XX/XX/XXXX they said it would take 30 days but you need to take me off your list, I then got hung up on. XX/XX/, I told them to take me off their list along with telling them I'm on the FTC do not call list with XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/, XX/XX/23, and then lastly today I got XX/XX/23 and I said I was told on XX/XX/XXXX that it would take 30 days and this is past 30 days and I asked you to take me off my list and I had enough of these phone calls. This phone call happened at XXXX XXXX and these calls have come in at various times such as XXXX XXXX XXXX and they came in between XXXX to XXXX on these dates. I have also received a call today XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX and told them I've told them time and time again I asked for me to be removed and I am now requesting {$1500.00}. Mailed in mortgage payment, XX/XX/XXXX to Nationwide Advantage Company and mortgage company received payment on time. Tracking number shows the monies were delivered on time in their office they contacted me on XX/XX/2016, that payment was not posted. I provided them with the tracking number for the payment. I was told to call back in two days to see if the payment has posted. I comply with the request called back they still had not located payment. I then offered to stop payment on the check according to XXXX the representative I was speaking with I should not do that because when they do find it they will put it through and this will cost me more. I faxed and mailed a letter out to the corporate office stating the problem and that they needed to fix it. Locate my payment and stop will negative reporting she then informed me that I needed to make another payment over the phone to bring my account current. I refuse to do so and again informed XXXX. XXXX that they needed to find my payment. The resolution for this problem : Nationwide to go back an remove all they negative reports of my being late because I was not, and to remove the late fees they billed me for because I was not late. And list my account as current.

I have filed a complaint in regards Nationwide Advantage Mortgage reporting me to credit bureaus affecting my credit file and creating a big financial burden on my business ability to get bonded and obtaining credit as well they had said yhey were going to remove the late payment they said I was late on in which I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX and they proceeded it XX/XX/XXXX my credit score has drastically dropped Nationwide is preventing me and my family hardship not allowing us to refinance our mortgage due to reporting us to the credit bureaus they even stated for me just to quick claim the home to them me and my wife have been paying The mortgage 9 years this is how Nationwide repays it customers they said the would inform credit bureaus to remove the late payment pass 30 days and they have n't I disputed my late payment with transfusion and they said that Nationwide said it was accurate they lied to me and CFPB in not fulfilling their part. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Nationwide mortgage has been willfully and/or negligent in including inaccurate information with regards to reporting my mortgage loan to the XXXX credit bureaus. I have called Nationwide mortgage before and recently ( XXXX/XXXX/2016 ) sent nationwide all necessary information to prove this inaccurate information. I requested them to correct the mortgage information and have not seen a change in my credit information at any time. I have also disputed this mortgage information to XXXX credit bureau regarding this matter and submitted a complaint to the XXXX. This matter has severely damaged my credit score.

I need assistance in obtaining a cancellation of the security deed with Nationwide Advantage Mortgage. The mortgage was paid off in XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a home loan and found that the title was not clear. The loan officer at XXXX Bank and myself have tried to found someone who could help ... to no avail. The account has been transferred to XXXX XXXX. Since the account is not active, they can't provide any assistance. I do have in my possession two letters from Nationwide stating that the loan has been paid in full and a release would be sent to the recorder office.

I was late on payments, applied for modified payments and met the requirements. Nationwide wants me to sign a modified mortgage agreement which will extend my mortgage for XXXX years at {$580.00} a month. I currently have a loan agreement for XXXX years at {$610.00} a month. Or I have to make up the difference between the modified amount and normal amount which is {$1200.00} or be foreclosed. The extended years if I am unable to refinance with have me over {$20000.00} on a mortgage I only have $ 54,000+/- left. Why if my loan is extended, the payments are n't lower?

FHA Loan Refinance initiated on XXXX/XXXX/15. It has been almost 3 months and no one can tell me a clear status of the loan. I am told that it has passed underwriting but is in review by FHA. I called FHA and they claim that FHA does not review loans. The credit scores and loan to debt ratio are supposedly ok. I refinanced an FHA mortgage through XXXX bank. Nationwide ( the current mortgage servicer ) is charging me interest through the end of XXXX and PMI through XXXX. According to the XXXX websit, FHA refinances no longer require this. I called Nationwide and they gave me no alternative, stating that it is FHA policy.
