On my iPhone device, using XXXX browser I searched for " XXXX '' in XXXX Search. Several numbers came up for XXXX. They were in the form of a click-to-call. I called what I thought was a XXXX Student Debt Advisor ( SDA ). The man I spoke to was very knowledgeable about loans and the repayment process. He had no accent, spoke clearly, confidently and professionally. I asked to setup monthly payments. He gave me advice about how to handle my student loan debt., helped me set up direct deposit from bank acct., he gained access to my XXXX account. He told me that my loans were past due and that I needed to make a payment as soon as possible. He sent me an email with a service agreement to sign and another email with links requesting me to provide additional information. Please note, all emails and documents he sent were well polished and used legal terminology. When I did n't complete the request for information, he sent text message reminders to me. I tried to call XXXX directly to confirm whether or not this was a legitimate company, each time I called I would ask a XXXX representative if this SDA company was legitimate and the XXXX Rep sounded like they were new hires to XXXX, did n't know about XXXX enough to give me an answer and did n't seem concerned. They would put me on hold then transfer me to another XXXX Rep that was just as uninformed as the last. When I finally got ahold of a knowledgeable XXXX Rep they told me it was possible that this SDA company was fraudulent and had no record of all the times I had tried to contact XXXX directly. I asked the XXXX Rep who I needed to contact to report the fraud, the rep did n't know. XXXX never followed up with me to ensure my identity and sensitive information was safe or to check whether the fraud alert was taken care of. When I voiced my concern about a possible fraud on my account, we would get disconnected and XXXX never called back. When I did n't respond to the SDA " XXXX '' the supposed student debt advisor called my phone to remind me to complete the information so my loan would be paid on time and would n't acquire any late penalties. When I told him I did n't believe his company was legitimate, he had a supposed " manager '' call me and say that they were a partner company to XXXX and they were not sure why the XXXX representatives did n't confirm it. They told me they would call XXXX directly to work out the issues and call me back. Meanwhile, I finally got ahold of someone from XXXX, who was able to confirm that the SDA was not a legitimate company and referenced me to a place I could report it. Finally, 16 days later, I am able to provide a report on this illegal company called SDA. If XXXX Reps had been more knowledgeable when I first called, I would have been able to address this situation immediately. However, because it was so hard to get ahold of a knowledgeable person from XXXX, my information has now been compromised for the past 16 days.

I called XXXX student loans which I was with originally. Since I had my student loan with XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. I had three deferments showing hardship from being out of work and collecting government assistance. So XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX because I received letter that I was due to start making payments. I called to let XXXX know that I would have to do another deferment because I 'm not working. I spoke to a women named XXXX. which just so happened to be a debt advisor she told me I should try the student loan forgiveness program where I make one-time payment of {$240.00} or so, and I would n't have to start making payments until I reach {$XXXX} a year. When I called I explained to her that I 'm calling XXXX XXXX to do deferment. My loan with XXXX is less than {$8000.00}, my loan was in good standing I only had one loan out, not like I had 4 loans out it was n't that serious for me to be switched to XXXX which my loan was increased by the way come to find out. I received a voicemail XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX from a women named XXXX XXXX with Student debt advisor ( voicemail was unprofessional ) told me another payment was due if I did n't pay my account would be messed up. According to my knowledge it was a one-time payment and I did n't give her permission to automatically debit my bank card. XXXX insisted I look through disclaimer which she walked me through and sign and collect payment to get everything started, she also stated that they would most likely need a XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX showing what I made or if I did n't everything will have to be resubmitted if not returned in timely manner, which I failed to do because I felt like I was scammed. I was confused to who this XXXX person was and what are they, I have no knowledge when it comes to student 's loans which is why I wanted to stay with XXXX when I spoke to XXXX I thought she was affiliated with XXXX. If I did happen to call them by error, why did n't XXXX just say I had the wrong number and being that I am not working so that {$240.00} would n't have worked for you anyway if she knew her job and the peo0ple she would 've have determined that, I also understand people have a job to do and a quota to meet by playing people. I got scammed and I know from what I was told about their disclaimer which I was aware of is that they are their own company, they must be stopped they should 've not intervened. That loan that is open should now be disputed, because now everything is unclear to me. I was n't in debt to begin with nothing was pending or going into collections.

I have received multiple calls PER DAY from different numbers, all claiming to be affiliated with the National Student Loan Forgiveness Program associated with the Department of Education. The call begins with a recorded message saying " this is truly a final attempt to reach you ... '' due to XXXX failing to notify their borrowers of forgiveness programs available to them. After over a year of these calls, blocking dozens of numbers, and asking repeatedly to be removed from the list, the calls continue. I am having no problems repaying my loan, and my annual-salary-to-debt-owed ratio is such that I do not qualify for any of these programs anyway. I have reiterated this multiple times, and yet every day the calls roll in ( just ignored one of them while typing this, in fact ). It occurs mostly during work hours on weekdays, but I've had the occasional call past business hours and on weekends. It is borderline harassment that they keep calling my personal cell phone at all hours, to no end, after I have gone through their process multiple times to appease them and land on the answer that I already know is coming. I may have filled out a survey years ago out of curiosity, searching for ways to lower my overall amount owed, but this is ridiculous that this continues. I would like to know the end-all way to stop these calls, which have consumed a larger percentage of my waking hours than I'd care to admit. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any suggested way to ward them off when the first point of contact is obviously someone who does not have the authority to remove me from a " list ''? I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks, XXXX XXXX

Not really much to report. Phone # in questions is for our small business and we 've NEVER had a student loan, had an employee or even a family member with or even cosigned on/for a student loan and these folks no matter how many times we have asked politely and also of late " not so politely '' continue to call on a DAILY BASIS and it seems always from different numbers. When we waste our time and manage to get to a real person the company is always the same. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX XXXX California. Office # XXXX or XXXX Problem has now escalated as the latest caller has upped the ante to " threats of physical harm '' and stated that she will keep calling until we finally admit we had or cosigned on a loan and that our number was somehow associated to a loan, but they 're always unable ( more like unwilling ) to provide a name of who may of taken out said loan. How the heck do we make this XXXX stop, even more so now that the calls have become threatening?

Today @ XXXX I received ANOTHER robocall from " National Student Loan debt Forgiveness Program '' @ # ( XXXX ) XXXX. I have repeatedly pushed the correct # 9 to be removed from their list & also spoke with their Customer Service representative asking the same. I have repeatedly told them I Graduated in XX/XX/XXXX & Loan was PAID IN FULL in XX/XX/XXXX. I always block the number in my phone & delete it. The company changes the number & calls again, this has been going on several months, sometimes receiving 3-5 calls a day. The last time I spoke with CS I told them 1 more call & I would report them. They are very RUDE & HANG UP ON YOU. this morning was that NEXT CALL!
