on XX/XX/2019 I received a call from a private number. The representative, XXXX XXXX stated she had some very important legal documents that required my signature and she wanted to schedule a date for her to come out and deliver those documents to me personally. I asked her who she worked for and what company issued those documents. She stated she worked for XXXX and gave me a number to call to find out who sent the legal documents. I took number given to me and disconnected the call. I then called the number listed and spoke with XXXX XXXX who stated he was retained to settle a legal issue with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). He then went on to imply that I was in trouble regarding this " legal matter '' Once I obtained the account information, I asked for a physical address to send a cease and desist letter. I explained to him that implying legal consequences for collecting was in violation of FDCPA, he attempted to say that I could be in legal jeopardy, however when I told him I was going to file a complaint, he transferred me to XXXX. XXXX said he was in the financial department and attempted to imply that legally I could have a legal consequences filed against me. Once I told him I knew my rights as a consumer, he backed down agreed that I was not in danger of legal action and both collectors before him should have read my Mini-Miranda rights ( which NONE of those mentioned above did at any time during either phone call ) XXXX said he would take my number out of their data base after I told him I would speak with the original creditor to set up payment arrangements. The call was disconnected after XXXX said he would refer my complaints to management. After disconnecting the call I phone the original creditor to ask who they placed my account with, I was told the account was placed in another collection agency called National Debt Holdings , LLC I have also been given the name of another collection agency that they could be calling from as well XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX

I got a call from unknown number XXXX. I did not answer as I was at work. The number then called my boyfriend. I got on the line and a gentleman told me he was trying to serve me papers and was not sure what it was about but to call number XXXX.I was not able to get to that number so called the XXXX back and told they could connect. This caused red flags as it was the same guy and he did not offer to connect me before. I was connected to a man named XXXX. He told me he was collecting for a debt I owed. I explained I was at work and unable to talk but could call back, XXXX told me he had to have me pay XXXX plus today or they would call my HR. I told him to do what needed to be done and the call ended. 5 minutes later XXXX called my XXXX XXXX XXXX. I advised that he could not call this number as it was my work number and they had my personal cell to call. XXXX said I could not tell him not to call. I asked if he was a collection agency and he said no. I advised that if he was a collection agency I have the right to tell him not to call my job, he said I sounded XXXX and asked me to transfer him to HR. I told him no and to verify my employment to use the work number. He asked if I had that number I told him no but he could XXXX it, I told him I did not know the employer code but if he went to the site and typed in the name he could find it. At that point XXXX screamed at me to transfer him to HR. I stated did you just yell at me on my job phone. I told him this call is being disconnected and hung up.

My mother received a phone call on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX from phone # XXXX threating that she needed to provide him my info or he would have me served at my place of employment to be locked up by an officer and that he was trying to spare me the embarrassment and to give me IG # XXXX. When I called the phone number he left the rep. who answered did not identify herself when I asked the name of the company and the reason why they were reaching my mother? Instead asked for an IG # which I provided then started threating me stating I was a criminal and attempted to defraud the system and if I was familiar with a penal code? I then again asked reason for call she started making treats of taking me court which then I asked to speak to her superior. I then talked with XXXX XXXX who gave him is direct ph # XXXX and his company handles civil matters, they were a mediator for XXXX XXXX but that is was a debt collection call and didn't state why his employees were stating otherwise. I asked for a validation of debt which was not provided and also informed him they have now violated the FDCPA laws in place given threating and scare tactics not to mention mini Miranda not being read at the beginning of call.

Payday loan taken in XX/XX/XXXX - went delinquent XX/XX/XXXX, was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX - I never received phone calls or communication from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received message on XXXX from XXXX XXXX who I have not been in contact with in 20 years saying XXXX XXXX was looking for me. I contacted XXXX who said they could take any means necessary to locate me, I asked for the address they had which is my address. They said they sent me mail in XX/XX/XXXX which I never received. I informed them I would take legal action if they continue to reach out to any of my personal or business contacts on XXXX or other social media and to send me whatever documents they needed to. They asked me for an exact date and time I would be home, I refused to give them that information because it was threatening to me since I am a single mother at home with a XXXX year old child. It is not legal to use social media for collection attempts, they said they could not locate me but then gave me my address. Whatever sick games they are playing should be stopped.

I took out an online loan for {$800.00} but I some hardships and was n't able to repay it completely. The payday loan company later sold the debt to another company. The company 's name is " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '', they have been calling me since the first week of XXXX XXXX and my family members with threatening voicemails about me being summoned and that they will sue me. I called the original creditor and they told me that they do n't have knowledge of these type of practices and that the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX should not be threatening me which such actions. I am guessing they have collected family relatives information from online sources and that is completely unacceptable and unethical and has brought distress to myself and family.

XXXX XXXX called my relatives when they already had my number. They stated they were though National Debt Holdings and they were trying to 'serve ' me civilly for a lawsuit. I contacted my county and no lawsuit pending. Then they stated there was a loan from XXXX loans back in 2017 that I don't remember. They were telling me that I should have paid it and there wasn't an excuse not to now ... and that I can afford to pay it. They tried to ask me for my banking and work. They were belittling me and my situation. Finally this " XXXX '' told me they would " send me the demand '' letter and hung up on me.
