My spouse received several phone calls from a debt collector called " Matthews & Michaels ( XXXX XXXX ) '' asking for a person with a similar name to mine. She told them that no one of that name lives here and hung up, and did not answer calls from that number after several initial calls.
On XX/XX/XXXX, three men in a large pickup truck from an agency called " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' came to my home asking about a vehicle that I have never owned and asking for a person with a similar name to me. They did not initially identify themselves but just said they were here to talk to me about this vehicle. When I said I was not the person they had named, they began to leave, but I asked them who they were and who had sent them. They had paperwork that showed that they had been sent on behalf Matthews & Michaels, and they allowed me to photograph the paperwork. I have attached this paperwork to this complaint.
The paperwork shows my address and my wife 's phone number listed with a person with a similar, but different, name. It also lists other addresses that I have never lived at or been associated with, as well as a vehicle I have never owned or driven.

Today I received the 8th call from Matthews & Michaels Private investigator in XXXX, Texas Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX Phone : ( XXXX ) XXXX They keep harassing me about a debt that my ex husband owes. My name is not on the debt. He calls during work hours. After numerous times telling them to stop calling me, they still will not stop. All calls are supposedly on a recorded line, and I know I have told them to stop calling me at least 6 times now. I will not and can not give them any information, they still call about every other week. I have finally blocked the phone number on my cell phone, but I am sure they will find a way around that. XXXX XXXX is the man that keeps calling me telling me that it is Urgent that I call and give them all information they require. That it is my responsibility to be sure that I get back in touch with them immediately.

This person XXXX from MATTHEWS & MICHEAL or XXXX debt collector or skip tracing has called me so many times. 4 times this morning XX/XX/XXXX. Before XXXX.
She called over 19 times on Friday XX/XX/XXXX. I asked her to stop calling because I dont have possession of the vehicle. She then accused me of living in the car and said she would never stop calling me. She called over 9 times on XX/XX/XXXX. Over 5 times on XX/XX/XXXX. I told her to stop calling XX/XX/XXXX and she continues to call my family. My ex husband. My brother. Harassing them by calling 5-10 times back to back. I want to Sue this company for harassment and I have proof.
