I was contacted by Moxley and Associates in Alabama about a credit card debt that I owed. I worked out a payment arrangement to pay the debt in full over 24 months. The first payment was in XX/XX/XXXX with the payoff to be XX/XX/XXXX. I made 2 payments in XX/XX/XXXX and 2 payments in XX/XX/XXXX. This put me ahead of the original payout date. I missed my XX/XX/XXXX payment but I was 2 months ahead of schedule so I did not think twice about it. XX/XX/XXXX I went to the website like always and submitted my payoff payment for {$440.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I had a hold placed on my savings for the amount of {$470.00} and a $ XXXX.fee charged for garnishment. What???? I called them and the guy told me that because I didn't pay my XX/XX/XXXX payment they garnished my account. He told me that he saw where I had made the payment online for {$440.00}. but that I still owed {$31.00} that was the remaining balance even though in the beginning it had been equal installments. He demanded I pay the amount using a debit card online if I wanted the garnishment released. I did pay the {$31.00} but I still have a hold in the amount {$470.00} and a loss of {$100.00}. for a garnishment fee.

I 'M WRITE TO ALL OF YOU AGAIN. HOLLOWAY & MOXLEY IS STILL CALLING OUR HOME AGAIN.AND THEY WANT TO LISTEN TO NOBODY.THEY NEED TO LEAVE US ALONE. I 'M SORRY I PUT MY NAME DOWN BECAUSE I DID N'T KNOW.I WROTE ALL OF YOU JUST IN A LAST MINUTE.TO HELP MY MOM.I WANT HOLLOWAY & MOXLEY QUIT CALLING OUR HOME BEFORE MY DAD WILL LET THEM HAVE IT, OR ME. I received notice that my wages are being garnished. I received no paperwork concerning the " judgement '' that was issued. It was my understanding that I was to be served paperwork concerning the judgement. To this day, the only paperwork I received was from employer informing me of this garnishment. I do believe that the garnishment is illegal since no judgement paperwork was never served on me at either my residence or place of employment
