I was contacted in XXXX 2015 by Mountain West Legal pertaining to a debt that was owed on Oregon case number XXXX This case was taken over from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I revived court documents from Mountain West Legal from the XXXX XXXX Courts advising they had taken over the case.
I spoke with a XXXX XXXX XXXX from the company and came to a resolution of making payments of {$270.00} a month starting on XXXX XXXX 2015. Payments were made by automatically being withdrawn from my account. Payments were debited through XXXX 2015 then stopped.
I attempted phone contact with Mountain West Legal but was unable to connect to any of the numbers given. I was advised the numbers had been disconnected. I then sent an email to XXXXXXXXXXXX ( The XXXX XXXX XXXX I had spoken with via email in XXXX ) and received no response. I attempted to call numerous more times with no luck.
At this point I thought the debt and issues were handled.
I am attempting to purchase a house and have found that the judgment against me XXXX is still listed as " Unsatisfied ''. I have searched the internet for contact information and have still not found any that allows me to contact this company.

I was receiving a number of automated messages on my answering machine that spoke vaguely about some unpaid debt. When I called the number back and inquired I was told the debt ( in the amount of {$760.00} XXXX was an unpaid medical debt dating back to 2007. When I asked about the specifics of the debt and what is was for all they could tell me was the date and location XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I then called the hospital to inquire about this unpaid debt and they said I had no unpaid through them. I called back the debt collector and they said they would send me a letter detailing exactly what the debt was for. I did receive this letter, but again, it did not state what the specifics of the medical bill were for, but expalined how I could pay the bill, which included a self-addressed envelope. While I was present at the hospital on this date, I was full insured at the time, and was never notified prior to this about this supposed unpaid debt, which is over 7 years old! I strongly suspect this was a fraudulent attempt at collecting money on an old medical charge that has already been paid.
