I on about XX/XX/XXXX advised to send payment via the checking account in the amount of {$380.00} via EFT. I left a voicemail with these instructions and go send the payment on XX/XX/XXXX. I also advised the payment made earlier in the month with the same account info they changed the amount from {$380.00} to over {$400.00} is along with them.not processing an an EFT is why the payment did not go through. The payment I authorized for XX/XX/XXXX was for checking account but they sent it through via a debit card number on XX/XX/XXXX which was not authorized. I then spoke to XXXX around the XX/XX/XXXX and advised to cancel the payment that was coming due XX/XX/XXXX because I would not be able to pay at that time. I spoke to XXXX in reference to skipping a payment and she said I had to send paperwork that I had a hardship. I advised I didn't have any paperwork just got behind. XXXX then advised I could not defer a payment. I tried to change the payment date and they said that could not be done because it would alter the terms of the contract. Now the vehicle has been repossessed as of XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and she advised I had to prove I could still make payments by sending in all the same documents I did to obtain the loan. XXXX advised if approved and it is more than 10 days before next payment is due I could pay back months and fees to obtain the vehicle, well at that time it was 11 days until my next payment was due. I sent in the requested documents early in the day on the XX/XX/XXXX so I could get a response that day to my dismay, I got no response from.XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX exactly 10 days until the next payment which would mean if approved the next payment due on XX/XX/XXXX would have to be paid before I could retrieve my vehicle. XXXX on the XX/XX/XXXX advised I didn't send.in both paystubs..I advised her I would look.for that stub but it was probably in the car that was repossessed. XXXX then told me.to get a letter from my employer stating I am.working there. I told her I would ask. I told XXXX if I could not get the letter or paystub I would just let it go. I asked for the payoff as well because XXXX told me that would be my only other option if all documents aren't submitted. I tried contacting XXXX XX/XX/XXXX several times by phone only to be put on hold for several minutes. After the several phone calls I opted to email XXXX to which I got no response. I know this car will sell for more then the {$5700.00} owed on the loan View full complaint Sent to company STATUS Sent to company on XX/XX/XXXX We've sent your complaint to the company, and we will let you know when they respond. On XXXX , XXXX , I was involved in an auto accident. My XXXX XXXX XXXX was deemed a total loss. I did not have collision coverage on my insurance policy ( see attached insurance declaration page ) and since the other driver was determined not to be at fault, I had no way of recovering anything for the total loss. So the car just sat at a salvage yard where it was taken after the accident. I drove for XXXX and the car was how I made a living as well. All of my bills got behind and I was struggling. In XXXX .of XXXX Motor Max Financial Services, who had a loan on the XXXX , offered me a settlement amount of XXXX to pay off the loan on the car as evidenced by the accompanying letter. I worked constantly with my insurance co. to see if I could recovery anything. As a courtesy, since I had been wit h the Insurance co. for such a long time and being a XXXX military veteran, they made an exception to help me. But when th e Insurance co. called Motor Max to get a pay off, they were told by Motor Max the amount of XXXX . The loan co. doubled the payoff amount! I fee l Motor Max Financial Services ' actions constitute predatory lending practices. A representative of Motor Max Financial Services also made disparaging remarks about me and said that I had insurance when the Insurance declaration page clearly shows that I did not have collision coverage on the automobile.

I opened an account with Motor Max Financial in XX/XX/XXXX and made all on time payments. The week of XX/XX/XXXX, I was quoted a payoff and mailed a check for the full amount of {$2600.00}. I spoke to XXXX at Motor Max and was let her know I was sending it certified and that it would make it there on XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX signed for it on XX/XX/XXXX. Today, XX/XX/XXXX he had an agent call me and state that since he did n't receive it on XXXX at the close of business, I had to pay an additional {$120.00}. Motor Max financial was CLOSED on XX/XX/XXXX. I was also told that if I did n't pay the {$120.00}, the cashier 's check would be applied to future payments since Motor Max uses the rule of XXXX and does n't accept payments just for principal. I want Motor Max to refund my {$120.00}. XXXX XXXX is rude and uses deceptive business practices to squeeze more money out of consumers. Motor Max and XXXX are a horrible company for consumers. Despite paying more than {$2400.00} towards a {$3200.00} loan, they had only applied less than {$600.00} to the principal in a whole year. XXXX XXXX does not follow what his agent XXXX told me and refused to accept my payment without an additional {$120.00} - an amount that he made up to get more money for two days. I want my {$120.00} BACK!

I refinanced my XXXX on XX/XX/2016. The vehicle was used as collateral for the loan. On XX/XX/2016 I was involved in an accident and the vehicle was a total loss. I just had liability insurance on the car at the time and the loss was not covered. I drove for XXXX and now I had no income since I had no car. I was unable to continue to pay on the loan. The loan company sent me a letter and said that the loan would be paid in full and the debt settled if I could pay XXXX. I worked with my insurance co. for several weeks and finally they did agreed to pay for some damage. ( comprehensive/falling objects. ) When my insurance company called the loan company to find out the amount they needed to send to pay off the loan, they were told by the loan company the payoff was XXXX! I went back to the loan company and they said they were not going to honor the settlement agreement they had agreed to. I looked more closely at the loan documents and how I was treated and feel the loan situation was predatory. This has put me in a bad financial situation.
