I borrowed XXXX and paid it back. Continued to call and ask me to borrow more money and I declined. Later I needed XXXX loan and was given that loan. I paid and then had hard times and that's when the harassment began. I was asked to come in make a {$5.00} payment and " renew '' the loan as I did. Still struggled to make payment. The calls and text became more aggressive demanding I give them a payment date that I could not give as I'm self-employed. I asked for a payoff after making payments for over a year and was told it was XXXX! I refused that this was accurate but was told that's it!
The real problem began around XXXX when one of the employees ( XXXX ) walked in my place of business and became demanding and started insulting me. I asked her several times to leave and not to come back. She made threats and promises she would be back. I had another similar instance with the manager prior to this one, where she came in and acted like a XXXX child and stomped out.
I have asked many times for a reasonable payoff to just go our separate ways, but the calls and text continued after I've asked not to be contacted via phone or text. XXXX XXXX They did an unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit that I have since disputed with CRA.
It is my understanding that collections at a person 's workplace is illegal along with unauthorized hard inquiries of my credit and I ask for proper actions to be taken!
At this point as mentioned on the last text to these people, I have no intention in making another payment and as I mentioned to them, my odds in a court room would be better than continuing to pay a predatory loan. My rights have been violated and the damages exceed the balance owed.
