This is an official complaint against Millenial Home Lending , Inc. I have been trying to get this issue resolved since XX/XX/2021 and have been given the answer of there is nothing that can be done. This is in regards to our refinance of our mortgage loan with Millenial Home Lending , Inc that has since been since transferred to XXXX XXXX DBA XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021. Previously we had our mortgage loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and on XX/XX/2021 we closed with Millenial Home Lending and the payout was issued on XX/XX/2021 from Millenial Home Lending to XXXX. As part of the terms of our refinance, we were to go 2 months of payment deferment. At the time of closing it was indicated in our paperwork that it would in fact be XXXX and XXXX. We had specifically discussed that we had already paid our XXXX mortgage ( keep in mind this was now XX/XX/XXXX and well beyond the mortgage due date of XX/XX/XXXX ), and it was stated we would be getting that refunded to us in the form of a check. XX/XX/XXXX we received our escrow refund, but no mortgage refund. At that time I began speaking directly to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX several times and they states that they do not issue refund checks but instead consider that a payment towards the payout, which was not what we agreed to with Millenial Home Lending. With that being said, the terms we agreed to of going two months of deferment is not being met and it seems Millenial Home Lending spoke on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on how that payment would be handled. We paid XXXX mortgage and that was credited toward what Millenial Home Lending paid for our mortgage. In my opinion, we did not get the benefit, but Millenial Home Lending got the benefit of lowering the payout by $ XXXX- this is not at all what we agreed to and I believe to be dishonest. I was advised to reach out to our original loan officer who I contacted on XX/XX/XXXX, who passed this issue onto her manager that same day. I did not get any communication from the manager, and on XX/XX/XXXX a voicemail was left on my husband 's phone ( which he never checks which is why I requested to be contacted ). When he finally heard the message on XX/XX/XXXX he passed the contact information onto me and I called and texted ( as requested by him ) starting on XX/XX/XXXX, again on XX/XX/XXXX and then finally on XX/XX/XXXX I received a response stating that there is no further action they are taking on a Funded Loan. There is zero culpability on their part and they refuse to assist in correcting their mistake and honoring the terns of our refinance agreement.

Hello, On XX/XX/XXXX I received my loan estimate and approval from Millenial Home Lending, Inc XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CAXXXXXXXX Our closing date for my new home purchase was set for XX/XX/XXXX. They told me that my income and credit were not an issue for the loan amount that I was borrowing, {$230000.00}. We received a copy of the appraisal on XX/XX/XXXX, showing the property value at {$250000.00} and our purchase price was {$240000.00}. Our problems started well into XXXX, when the lender realized that my husband owns a home just 2 miles from the one I am buying for myself and my elderly mother to live in. I explained the reason that I am buying a house separate from my husband 's. I still had ownership of my original house from before we married, and my nephew lives there. They had a problem with that, so we provided the documentation to show that my nephew is purchasing the house through payments for {$25000.00} ( roughly 20 % of it's actual value ), and I am not collecting houses for investments. I am purchasing another house so I don't have to put my mother in a nursing home when she needs more help than I can provide with weekly visits. THEN they started wanting my mother 's financial information. She wasn't on the application and had nothing to do with the purchase, but they pushed for me to supply them with her financial information, or they would need to submit the loan as an investment property and require 15 % down. I have two BIG issues with this : As a working adult female with my own money and credit, why can't I buy a house that I want to live in because they assume I want to use it for investing when I have no history of any previous house sales or renting? Also, with the aging population and so many families trying to keep loved ones out of nursing homes, why are they able to make it so difficult to help a family member have a home with or near their caregivers? How is this legal??

I contacted XXXX XXXX ( XXXX " XXXX '' XXXX - XXXX ) regarding a cash out refinance in XXXX of this year. I locked in my rate and was given the loan estimate disclosure. In it, there was no mention of points nor was any discussed over the phone or email. After 5 or 6 weeks I received the closing disclosure and found points totaling {$1700.00}. I immediately contacted them and asked what that was about. They said they had to pay a fee to maintain the rate that I was locked into because the term was going to expire. The reason the loan process went past the expiration date had nothing to to with me. I provided everything they requested either the same day or within a day or two. At this point, considering where interest were going, I was stuck. If I said canceled I would have ended up paying a higher interest rate someplace else. They sent a notary to my house to sign documents. The cash I was to receive based on the closing loan disclosures was {$43000.00}. This is what I signed for. After more than a week after signing I was contacted by an escrow officer ( XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX - XXXX ) telling me there was a {$100.00} endorsement fee charged by title and recording fees went up by {$16.00} so I would receive {$110.00} less. I sent an email to XXXX and the escrow officer telling them I was not ok with this as this is not what I had agreed to in writing. I have called and emailed numerous times. Each time they tell me they are working it out to get a refund to me but nothing has happened and I have not received the money. This has been going on for more than XXXX weeks.

On XX/XX/XXXX I was informed by my estranged husband that a mortgage refinance loan had been approved by Millenial Home Lending and that within the next 30 days I had to sign the documents. The mortgage refinance loan was approved at a rate of 2.49 %. This confused me because I am on the current mortgage loan and did not consent to any mortgage refinance. Upon reaching out to the company and the mortgage consultant, I was able to receive the signed document which showed my estranged husband 's information and incorrect information that he provided for my profile. He listed all of my personal information, falsified my income, and misrepresented our status as married instead of selecting the option for separated. I was unaware of the application because the mortgage consultant and my estranged husband listed his email address and phone number for both of our profiles during the application process. This allowed my estranged husband to fully submit the application, forge multiple electronic signatures for my profile, have my credit pulled, and the loan terms locked in with me being fully responsible for the refinanced loan without any communication or approval from me. I contacted Millenial Home Lending and spoke with XXXX XXXX and requested the mortgage application be cancelled and that a fraud investigation be opened. The signed mortgage application documents were provided to me on XX/XX/XXXX but Mr. XXXX has not responded to my request to investigate how this application was allowed to be completed without my involvement.

I received a letter from Millennial Home Lending Inc. addressed to me and the bank I have my current mortgage through ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The envelope looked as if there was something wrong with my mortgage with comments on the front of the envelope " Please Open Immediately '' " Time Sensitive Information '' " Expedited Service '' along with a " release signature '' section indicating something needed to be signed. When I opened the envelope, it was only an advertisement to apply for a new mortgage. The outside envelope made me think there was something wrong with my mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I feel their approach was deceptive by including my mortgage company name in the addressee section of the letter. It's obvious the placement of information and the urgency of the information listed on the envelope was made to scare or worry the individual as if there was something wrong with their mortgage. I feel this is meant as a scare tactic and a deceptive way to make people think there is something wrong with their mortgage and more importantly that the letter comes from my mortgage company when it didn't and has NOTHING to do with my mortgage.

I received a letter that appears to come from XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, it is actually a deceptive solicitation from Millennial Home Lending, with an offer to refi and cash out. In addition to being deceptive that this appears to be connected to XXXX XXXX XXXX, the terms provided on the front page of the letter do not list term, fees, etc. It attempts to show " now mortgage payments for 2 months '' and get $ XXXX out cash free. The disclaimers are listed on the back of the sheet. At the bottom of the sheet there is a disclaimer that Millennial Home Lending , Inc is not associated with or acting on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Additionally, the envelope it was mailed in appears to have " time sensitive information '' to cause fear or confusion. There is no way this can be legal, the entire letter feels deceptive and misleading. A confused old person could see this and totally disrupt their financial situation. It provides a number XXXX. Please make them stop.

Hello, On XX/XX/2022 I had an appointment at XXXX to finalize the signing of my new mortgage with XXXX XXXX DBA Millennial Home Lending. I signed all the documents but was not given any of the forms I signed including the three-day rescinding document, the payment coupons for where I make my first two payments to or any of the loan documents. He told me that he would go back to the office and copy them then bring them back to me. Then I receive an email telling me that he had closed the app and was not able to print any of the documents so reach out to my lender. I then reached out to XXXX XXXX and was told that they can not provide me any of the documents but that they forwarded them to the title company to have them send me a copy. I still have not received any of the documents.

I received a letter addressed as follows : XXXX XXXX [ my mortgage lender ] [ My name ] [ My address ] The fact that the address included the name of my mortgage lender -- along with the admonition to " open immediately '' -- made me think the letter was an important document from my lender. When I opened the letter, it was a refinance offer/advertisement, and it wasn't from my lender at all. It was from a company called Millennial Home Lending. But if I had not read the letter carefully ( or the fine print disclosures on the back ), I would have thought it was an offer from my own lender. This is a deceptive practice. Even if it's not harmful to a borrower ( which I think any such deception is harmful ), it is an unfair business practice.

I received a letter dated XX/XX/21 that was addressed to my current lender and me and said Important! on the envelope. I opened it and realized it was just advertising to get me to refinance my current loan with another company. The letter and packaging seem quite deceptive as it's only in the fine print that the letter was sent by Millennial Home Lending and not my lender. There is also " Statement Date '' printed at the top to trick consumers into thinking this notice is a statement from their actual lender. I have no relationship with Millennial Home Lending ( nor will I, given deceptive advertising ) but wanted to report this shady practice.

I refinanced 2 investment property loans at the same time with Cake Mortgage, aka Millennial Home Lending, Inc. For one loan, the initial Loan Estimate had the appraisal fee at {$490.00}. The initial Loan Estimate for the other loan was at {$550.00}. The appraisal fee on each closing disclosure increased to {$1200.00} without a valid change of circumstance provided to me. The company needs to refund me the difference on both loans. I called various people at company prior to closing, so that this could be straightened out. Instead of providing an explanation and resolving the issue, all people I spoke with said nothing could be done.

I received a letter from Millennial Home Lending that was deceptively suggesting that they were affiliated with FHA. Only in the fine print does the letter reveal that it's actually from Millennial Home Lending. The letter is an attempt to have me call their " FHA Loan Service Center '' number at XXXX with my " eligibility number '' to find out how I can get a " tax free '' cash-out refinance for " {$25000.00} or more. '' I believe this letter is a UDAAP violation.

Millenial Home Lending , Inc. sent me a letter offering to refinance my mortgage. Only, the return address on the letter that showed through the envelope was not " Millenial Home Lending, Inc. '' but rather my original lender. The entire letter is written as if it is coming from my original lender, but only at the very bottom does it have a disclaimer that Millenial Home Lending does not have any affiliation with my original lender.
