On Thursday XX/XX/2020 I received a call from my mother in law because she had received several calls from a number looking to locate me and the lady on the phone said she was a processor and is looking for me to service me for a debt I owed but she refused to give her name or company she was with so my mother in law hung up and immediately called me thinking this was my ex husbands mother who I have a 50 year order for protection on my ex husband trying to locate me. I asked for the number the lady called from which was XXXX and I tried calling the number which just rang did not go to a debt collection company so I then thought test my ex husband is trying to find me again and immediately thought me safety was in jeopardy. About two hours later that same number called my work phone twice but I could not answer because I was with a customer and then then called again and I answered and it was the lady that had called my mother in law several times she started saying shes been trying to get in contact with me thats shes a processor and trying to service me and she would have my address verified in two hours and I can call XXXX to discuss the debt and she will call back when my address is verified to come to my home. I immediately called XXXX and a guy name XXXX got on the phone and said that I defrauded XXXX XXXX and I will be taken to court unless I take care of whats owed right now. I explained I never defrauded XXXX XXXX I explained I was paying the loan and I fell into financial difficulties and especially now because of COVID-19 he said well I need to pay something today and how am I surviving if I dont have money to pay the debt I kept saying I dont have any money right now and then he said well see you in court and good luck in court. I then looked at the letter I received from XXXX XXXX just a week prior and it states my debt was sold to Midwest Recovery Fund , LLC so then I really started thinking my safety is I. XX/XX/XXXXand my ex is looking for me again. The processor lady then called my work number twice and then my cell phone but I was still working so I couldnt answer but then again she called my work number I answer and she said did you talk to XXXX I said yes and explained that the company was extremely rude she giggled and said how so I said well to ask me how I am surviving and cant pay a debt is completely out of pocket she again laughed and said well I will be proceeding with the court action and do I still work for XX/XX/XXXX when I said no I have to worry about distance learning for my children so I am not working she said yea we all know you have a lot of children and then she said shes contacting HR and that she will be to me home in 1-2 hours to serve me. I felt threatened as I have extreme safety concerns from a past abusive relationship where the man was sent to prison for many years and I have a 50 year order for protection on him so I immediately told my kids get inside and locked all my doors.

Midwest Recovery LLC. has placed a debt on my credit report with no notification or verification to me personally for a cash store loan in the amount of {$550.00} on or around XX/XX/2020. I sent them a validation of the account letter via certified USPS mail requesting validation of this item with NO RESPONSE of any kind. Under the fair debt collection act when an item is disputed and while under dispute it needs to be removed from a personal credit report. I have attached a copy of the letter sent to Midwest Recovery LLC and also a copy of the signed return receipt that they did in fact receive my letter.
