I was working on purchasing a home and Midwest Equity Mortgage , LLC was the bank and XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX was the representative with the Lender. This is the first time I've ever purchased a home ; so, I trusted XXXX throughout the entire process. He told me my home insurance and property tax were going to be escrowed at closing. After closing, I received a bill from the insurance company, which wasn't the insurance company I told XXXX I was going to be using. After a week of tracking down who the insurance was with since it was not who I told them I would be using, they told me I owed the insurance premium because it was not escrowed. My mortgage insurance and property taxes were supposed to be paid up front as well. Having a mortgage that requires private mortgage insurance should have escrowed my insurance and taxes and not blind-sided me with a bill one month after closing. They did not allow me to choose my own home insurance company and then when I called XXXX XXXX, he gave me the run around. He never told me the insurance company at closing and tried to pull a fast one on me by not going with the insurance company I told them I was with and wanted to go with for my home insurance. XX/XX/XXXX was the first day of contacting Midwest. XX/XX/XXXX was the day of pre approval. XX/XX/XXXX was the day that XXXX XXXX approved the loan of {$80.00}. XX/XX/XXXX I put a contract on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , MO XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX paid for inspection on XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX appraisal was waived.XX/XX/XXXX signed lien holder document. XX/XX/XXXX was told closing was put off until further notice because of the government shut down. XX/XX/XXXX was sent over contract adjustment. XX/XX/XXXX signed an adjustment amendment. XX/XX/XXXX made payment for earnest money.XX/XX/XXXX signed a document removing the contingency upon results of the municipality inspection.XX/XX/XXXX got the short sale approval. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX called XXXX XXXX to inform him that he was about {$1400.00} short for closing and that they ( Midwest Equity Mortgage ) was going to, " do some adjusting so that it can get approved ''. There was no mention of name of the Insurance company or the amount of the policy and I told them I was working with XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX was the closing date. There was no mention of insurance payment when XXXX looked at the paperwork there was an escrow amount and insurance total amount a month was {$670.00}. {$420.00} principal and interest. {$130.00} estimated Taxes. {$61.00} Hazard insurance. {$53.00} Mortgage Insurance. XXXX XXXX contacted XXXX XXXX to get the information about the homeowners insurance. The call dropped after 1m 35s. XXXX XXXX did not call him back. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX contacted XXXX XXXX about the homeowners insurance. XXXX spoke to XXXX XXXX and he said to hold while he gets in contact with the insurance company ; XXXX hung up on me after 51s. XXXX. XXXX called XXXX XXXX ( 3 ) times at XXXX XXXX hung up on me after 43s. at XXXX XXXX hung up on me after 26s. At XXXX this time XXXX was very upset and explained to XXXX XXXX over the phone that he has been trying to figure out what is going on with the homeowners insurance. After 1m 24s XXXX XXXX said that he would text XXXX the phone number. The number was XXXX there was no name with that text. After contacting the number XXXX left a voicemail. Someone from a different number called XXXX back and left a voicemail. XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX called XXXX and he had no idea who or what XXXX 's insurance policy was and needed to call him back. XXXX immediately called XXXX XXXX to try to get some help on his insurance because he did not want to continue the run around with Midwest Equity Mortgage. I ( XXXX XXXX ) feel like I have been lied to and manipulated with this loan closing. I have lost the trust in Midwest Equity Mortgage. I feel that they rushed my loan through ( and XXXX said on XX/XX/19 on a call with me at XXXX XXXX that he '' rushed closing due to short sale so did not have time to verify my bank accounts ''. ) ; so, they can get paid and I have to just deal with the results. This is unethical and everything should have been disclosed properly at closing. I was never given a dec. page or binder for the insurance he selected for me and he told you it would be escrowed.

I started a cash out refinance wi th Midwest Equity Mo rtgage LLC on XXXX at 3.75 % for a 30 day lock for {$420000.00}. I provided all requested documents within 1 day. The file was opened in the encompass loan center on XXXX . There were several delays during the process due to them. I have emails where they are stating that it was no delays on my part but theirs. The loan officer was out for 3 days. Also, I was told that it only takes a max o f 72hrs to be reviewed by the underwriter, but it took over a week. Now today, my loan officer contacts me and says that they need a little more supporting documents to show assets ( which I already submitted my 401k statements and 401k disclosure on XXXX to the encompass loan center portal ), and that my loan will not close within the 30 day lock period and the lender is not willing to extend my lock, thus they need to go to the open market where the current rate is 4 % ( which also does n't make sense, because the rates have only gotten better since the date I initially locked the rate ). I feel that because I had locked a great rate, they are trying to not honor what was promised, and switch the rate higher at the very last minute to make more money. Essentially pulling a bait and switch at the very last minute. I feel that they should honor the original rate, since they are the reason it was delayed. Not to mention it is only the XXXX and there should be enough time to close by the XXXX ( which they are saying that we cant close in time ). Also, they are saying that the lender is not willing to extend the rate, which makes no sense either. I definitely think they are being dishonest to make more money out of this refinance.

Tried again, and they pulled my credit scores at least twice which causes my score to dip, which causes them to deny my application. XX/XX/XXXX - receive paperwork to sign, which had errors in it, contact broker, but no response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - finally respond, but paperwork issues are still not addressed XX/XX/XXXX - reach out with question about appraisal, no response XX/XX/XXXX - reached out again, with response XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX weeks later - because of the slow movement, banks are no longer lending. talked into an ARM refi, which we agree to on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - all documents are gathered and submitted XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - reach out, no response XX/XX/XXXX - moves to underwriting XX/XX/XXXX - conditional approval XX/XX/XXXX - no word, i reach out XX/XX/XXXX - am told that our application was denied due to credit scores lowering, which were pulled TWICE because of their slowness. When I first decided to try to get pre-qualified for a loan I looked online at loan companies. ONE time I gave my email address and all of a sudden I had several companies emailing me about a loan. I immediately unsubscribed from every one of them and where I could I typed a message that was very clear that I was no longer in the market and that I had unsubscribed and not to call me or email me again. But now I've had six ( 6 ) companies that keep hitting my credit report and I've never spoken to any of them. The lender is responsible for creating an escrow account for home insurance and taxes payment. The lender created a fake invoice for home insurance and sent the fake invoice to the closing company. This caused me to almost miss my premium payment for home insurance. The lender also misrepresented the city tax, and caused me to pay nearly double in property tax as mandated by the city.
